NOTE: This is Fort Magrad which is located in the snowfield.
When you are inside, you will get a sequence. Meru will throw snowballs
at you. Rose will give you some history lesson. Fort Magrad is actually
the land where Diaz declared war against the winglies with tens of
thousands of soldiers and seven Dragoons. Wow! This is a place that is
worth exploring since it is 10,000 or more years old!
After the sequence, continue along the path and get the Midnight terror
from the chest then continue into the next area. In the next area, you
will get a sequence of the past. After the sequence, continue along the
path and get the Stunning Hammer on the left. After taking it, continue
on the path until you reach the save point. Get the Poison Needle beside
the save point. Be sure to save at the save point as the boss of this
area is tough. After saving, approach the circular platform left of the
save point to get a history lesson again. In the sequence, you will know
that Zieg and Rose are going to get married after the war. After the
sequence, you will be switched back to Rose. Next you will see the red
sword moving! Rose will say that the souls of the soldiers who died in
the Dragon Campaign had awakened due to the appearance of dragoons. You
will have to fight a boss with three tough parts!

Boss Fight:
Polter Suit(Dark):
Polter Helm: ~2200 HP
Polter Sword: ~3200 HP
Polter Armor: ~4000 HP
All the three parts have very different attack style. The sword deliver
physical attacks that can wipe you out if you let your HP falls too low.
When you kill the sword, it will unleash a final attack that causes a
instant death to the character that killed the sword. Use a Angel's
Prayer of Miranda's Moon Light to revive the fainted character. The helm
can seal one of your battle command. The command will be sealed for many
rounds. This commanding blocking attack will not cause any damage but it
is very annoying. If your attack command is blocked, then you will have
to wait for many turns before you can attack. Killing the Helm will
unseal the blocked command. The armor is the the most dangerous part of
all. It has GREAT defense due to the fact that it is a armot. It has the
highest HP of all three parts. It can cast magics that damages everyone
and it will use the magic to its maximum power! Transform into dragoons
to have better defense. If you have Miranda in your party, then you will
survive better in this battle. Since Miranda's dragoon attacks are
light-based, they will deal high damage on this boss. Miranda's healing
magics is very useful in this battle. The good thing about this boss is
that all his parts do not have HP that is too high. I suggest that you
destroy the sword first, then the helm, then the last armor. Just hack
this boss away with additions and you will win in no time. You will get
200G, 6000 EXP, a Soul Eater and a Smoke Ball.

After the fight, the red sword will disappear and you will gain control
of Dart again. Get the treasure on the left(Armor of Yore) and the
treasure(Panic Bell) on the right. You will find that the statue is
Emperor Diaz's statue if you examine it. Now head out of snowfield and
continue your journey from where you have stopped.

NOTE: The seven dragoon towers is located in Vellweb. Each tower belong
to each of the sevens dragoons who fought during the Dragon Campaign. If
you have forgotten, this the place that Shirley asked you to enter and
release the souls of the four previous dragoons when you first visited
Vellweb. You can play this quest anytime you like. If you came to
Vellweb again to play this quest, Shirley will again appear and will
heal you.
We will explore this place in a sort of clockwise direction.
Rose's Tower:
From the entrance, go up the stairs and enter the tower just above of
where you came in from. Search the north wall for a Stardust(you should
have taken this in 3.11 of the disc 3 walkthrough. This is the Dark
Dragoon Tower which is better to be known as Rose's tower. Let's call
this the first tower. There is nothing to do in this tower, so head out
and proceed to the next tower on the left.

Yellow Bird: 4 HP
You will find this bird early in the game, meaning you will not have any
Sachets to kill it. Therefore you have to kill it with attacks and it
depends a lot on your luck.
Prize: 300G
Rare Prize: Elude Cloak
Blue Bird(Water): 5 HP
This bird can be easily killed by Sachets. You will be able to kill a
lot of them since they can be found just outside of the Home of Giganto.
The reason is because you can obtain sachets from the piggies found in
the Home of Giganto.
Prize: 1000 EXP
Red Bird: 6 HP
This bird is immune to physical attacks, so only magical attacks can
hurt this bird. Use the same strategy against Treasure Jar to kill it.
Prize: 1000G and a Pheonix Plume
Rainbow Bird(Void): ? HP
-Immune to both physical and magical attacks.
This Bird has a VERY high immunity against confusion, poison and other
status abnormalities. So it is very hard to kill it. You will need a lot
of luck for it to get poisoned or confused. If you have saved up the
sachets and also have gotten a few from those piggies in the home of
giganto, then use all of them on this bird.
Prize: 3000 EXP
Rare Prize: Rainbow Dress
Cursed Jar: 4 HP
This jar has 4 HP, but you need some luck and speed to defeat it. Magic
Signet Stone is required to beat this monster. Without the stone, you
might be able to beat it, but it is VERY impossible.
Prize: 300 EXP, Night Raid
Treasure Jar(Dark): 5 HP
-Immune to Physical Attacks
This Jar knows how to cast Magical Attack Barrier which will make it
immune to magical attacks. Use Sachet only if Magical Attack Barrier is
not casted.
Prize: Ruby Ring
Lucky Jar: 6 HP
-Immune to both physical and magical attacks.
Use poison needle on it, then use the magic signet stone on it to block
him for 3 rounds. The poison effect will deal 1 HP damage to him each
round, so just hope that he will not escape after the three rounds. Use
a sachet on it to kill it instantly. Again, you will have a better
chance against this jar if you have some character with great speed in
your team. Equip the fastest character(Meru) with a dancer's ring and a
dancer's shoes. Equip Dart with the bandit's ring and shoes.
Prize: 300G, 1000 EXP and a Moon Serenade
00parts: 4 HP
This is a tough special monster because it has a instant-death attack.
After using this attack, it will run away. The strategy here is to have
a quick person in your party so that you will get to attack first in the
battle. You should use the magic signet stone with that person so that
00parts will not be able to move for three turns. If you are lucky and
accurate enough, you will be able to take away 2-3 HP from it before the
spell wears off. Now you'll have to pray hard that it won't escape after
the spell wears off. If it stays on to attack you, then count yourself
lucky. When you get the chance, hit him 1-2 times successfully to kill
it.
