Everything is pre-set. Only difference is the last battle against
Bastion and Magneto. Lose it and you fight him with Phoenix.
The timed battles are with Forge, Magneto, and Cyclops. These battles
are against a Sentinel A and you have 50 seconds to beat him. If time
runs out, you lose the match.

Tips for fighting the Sentinel A with only 50 seconds:

#1) Time is your enemy; Do not waste ANY OF IT!!!
This means don't get thrown by him, and try to avoid doing any combos
that are blocked (it will be countered). I also don't recommend random
throwing Sentinel A or doing weak supers, as they are just wasting your time.
#2) Know your characters and their limits
Understand your character (Cyclops, Forge, Magneto) and their strengths
and weaknesses. Cyclops is a quick agile fighter with range; Forge is
an average fighter with meager priority and only one usable super; Magneto
is extremely powerful with combos but has some speed issues.
#3) Combos are the key!
But not just any combo; you need to connect with it! Try to do them by
jumping behind the Sentinel while its doing something else or after
blocking their combos.

#4) Never stand still; a moving target is harder to hit than a static one
As I said before, try to get behind the Sentinel. Along the same lines,
always be one the move. Too close and the computer will go for a throw;
too far away and it will use its range attacks to keep you away.

The best way I've figured out to do the transitions between areas within
a stage is by either doing an air seek combo at the very edge or any
knockdown attack or combo that sends the opponent flying across the room.
I'm describing the transitions in each stage. Every stage has breakable
objects but I noted those with pillars/columns because some characters
have special throws when near them.
Damages listed are during special cutscenes. Note: you can only do a
transition or knock into attack ONCE per stage. There is no limit on throw
attacks.
Ex: On Xavier's Mansion-Gardens, you can only knock them into the
basketball hoop once. However, you can do the basketball throw as many
times as you want.
The number in parantheses next to the stage is the number of rooms that will
be used during the Arcade fights. Some stages have 3 rooms, but only 2 will be
accessed as you defeat more characters.
Ex: On Sentinel Invasion, you first start out on the Construction Site.
Then, after defeating your opponent (best of 3 rounds), your next fight
will be with a new character on the Street room. (The Rooftop area is not
accessed by default, unless you trigger that transition)

- knock back from left side (facing sign) and hit neon sign (3000 dmg)
- knock back from right side (no sign) and fall onto rooftop (3500 dmg)
- knock up and fall into street (3200 dmg)
