Once you are out on the OverWorld, go south to another Hermitage of the Tengu. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Tengu here will give you the scroll "Devil Water". Then back to the Over- World. To west of Usuki Village, there is another Hermitage of the Tengu. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Tengu here will give you the scroll "Green Grass". Then back to the Over- World and go north to Yufuin Village. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As you take couple steps, more scene and toward to the RedHead DemonCow for a battle. A stranger(Ushibouzu) will join you in this battle. After, more scenes. One of the houses in this village has an item box that contains "Nectar Pill", the villager in the kitchen of Moumou Temple gives you 3 "Citrus Rice Cake", there is also an item box by the river that got the "Bamboo Body". Once you are done, exit out the village at NW. Back on the OverWorld, go right and continue along the path to yet another Hermitage of the Tengu. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Tengu here will give you the scroll "Devil Thunder". Then back to the OverWorld, and go to the north of Yufuin Village to get to Yabakei. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Continue up to a save point. Cross the bridge and go left to another area. Continue along the path and you would see a mountaineering ascetic that give you "Famous Water". After, continue to the left and take the right bridge first to a red item box that contains a fearsome consecutive 1001 enemies fight. Yes, you heard that right, 1001 enemies and no break at all. Avoid opening this item box, please. You can not escape the battle once you opened it. But if you did, you won't believe how much you actually have to fight, from this "Box of Veritable Pandemonium": 1st Set of Enemies: 28 Akadama 2nd Set of Enemies: 28 Spring Rabbit 3rd Set of Enemies: 28 Zuttoko 4th Set of Enemies: 16 Yato 5th Set of Enemies: 29 Akadama 6th Set of Enemies: 29 Desert's Thorn 7th Set of Enemies: 29 Eyeball Eater 8th Set of Enemies: 29 Urami (The rest is not available at this point since I died around there) Anyway, continue to the south. At the intersection, take the right bridge to an item box that contains "Broken Copper Halberd". Back track and take the south bridge. Save your game and don't bother to go south at this point since it's blocked at first. What you could do here is fight with the Poyopoyo. Kill all of them down to 1, then they will call more, repeat. This could level up and get some nice coins with this, besides, there is also a save point near. Once you are done, use a "Return Stone" to warp back to the OverWorld or if you don't want to waste any of those, back track your way out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Go up and get 3 "Copper" from the item box at left corner. Then head to the right and continue along the path. Get the "Great Sword of Iron" from the item box, then continue to the left. At the intersection, go left for another item box that contains "Near-Broken Sword". Then go up and before the save point, go right a bit for another item box that contains 2 "Refreshing Medicine". Go save your game and up to north. Use the rock to cover up the lower geyer. Next, 2 rocks and 2 geyers. The item box contains a "Rusty Dagger". Then go north. Save your game and go right that eventually leads to an item box that contains the item "Fundamental of Power". Then go left from the save point, go south a bit then to right for an item box that has 2 "Return Stone". Once you are ready for a boss fight, head to north from NW. More scene then get near Ichimotsu for more scenes. Then you will end up fighting Ichimotsu and side enemies. Use the "Charge" + "Flash Slash" combo. If you have learned the skill "Defensive Smashing", that's great. If you need to, use the Ougi "Surge Slash". If you have already learned the Ougi "Halo Slash", that's great to take out the side enemies and also damage Ichimotsu. Ichimotsu will mostly use "Possession" to hide himself among the enemies. Then you should just take out the side enemies. Once he shows up again, attack him with the above combo or use Ougi if you can. Ichimotsu can attack 3 times so watch out your HPs. Heal if you need. After the battle, more scenes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To help Ichiyo, Tsugumi wishes you to get "Ten Thousand Life Herb" at Mountain Kubote. Well, go there. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, if you follow this walkthrough then you have been here already. You know your ways. The "Ten Thousand Life Herb" we are looking for is at the same area as the red item box. Remember where you pass/go south from there, and meet yet another intersection? Then you go right and eventually lead you to the item "Broken Copper Halberd"(a bit north of the save point at that area)? Left of that "Broken Copper Halberd", check the sparkling redish herb then select yes. You will obtain "Ten Thousand Life Herb". Then more scenes. Ushibouzu will join the party. Use a "Return Stone" or back track out, before you exit out, there should be another scene. Then back to Beppuchou. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Head back to the hotel. Go up to second floor and head toward Tsugumi for more scenes. After, go down to the first floor. Go NW at the first floor to the bath area. Now attempt to enter the Women's Bath and select the first choice for more scenes. Now go up to second floor toward Ushibouzu for more scene. After, leave the hotel. More scene and Ushibouzu will leave the party, so will Ichiyo and Tsugumi. Now, time to go get Ushibouzu. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As you arrive, take couple steps down for more scene. Continue to the right and another little scene. Now go up to the Moumou Temple for more scene. You will end up fighting Shiromotsu and Kuromotsu. Clear the side enemies first. If you have Ushibouzu with max Fighting Spirit Bar, use his first Ougi, "Purification of Ten Thousand Thoughts". If you have Namida with max Fighting Spirit Bar, use his third Ougi(if you have it), "Halo Slash". Once you clear the side enemies out, focus on Shiromotsu first. Both Namida and Ushibouzu can use the "Charge" + Attack combo. Both Shiromotsu and Kuromotsu can use Possession, but if you take them all out like you did with Ichimotsu, then they won't use it. Shiromotsu is the one that can summon out more so that's why you should focus on it first. Kuromotsu can be difficult since it uses magic and its special move, "Hold Up The Dirty Hand". After the battle, more scene. Ushibouzu will join the party. At the same area of Moumou Temple, there is a shop. Make sure you buy a brush because you will need one later. Now head to Sunrise Village. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Go NE to the Village Chief's house. Speak with the Village Chief. He wants a Moumou Temple brush, and what he wants could be random each time, so it might depends. Give him the brush and you will get the "Resembling Flowers". Now head to Hell Tour. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At the first area, go to the right and as you get near, there will be another scene. With the "Resembling Flowers", you can blow up the blocked path. Now go right to a new area. Save your game. Staying in the mud here will lose your HPs so watch out for that. To NW, there are item boxes that contain "Nectar Pill" and 2 "Refreshing Medicine". At the NE part, there is another item box that contains 3 "Bun With Hazardous Inners". Once you are ready, go north. Save your game and go left a bit for a "Clear Decoration". And take the center path for the boss fight against Kuromotsu and Shiromotsu again. It's the same fight from before, if you can, chain up Ushibouzu's first Ougi "Purification of Ten Thousand Thoughts" with Namida's "Surge Slash". This sure clear up the side enemies quickly, as well as damaging the two bosses. After the battle, continue to north to exit out to the OverWorld. Continue north to the Umesato Village. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can shop around here, but all old stuff. The house north of the inn, the person named as Misato Baien will promt you with a choice, pick the first optional to get "Essential Point of the Universe". There is also an item box at northern part that contains 2 "Magnifying Glass". When you are done, go north to exit out the village to return to the OverWorld. To the left, there is another Hermitage of the Tengu. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The tengu here will give you the scroll "Dull Power". Then return to the Over- World and go north of Umesato Village to Mountain Inomure. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Go up. There is an item box to the left. It has 4 "Fur". Continue along the path and save your game. Head up to the next area. Continue along the path to the left, and by the intersection, go left for an item box that has 1 "Sunny Scent Rice Cake". Continue to the right and go along the path to the next area. At the top of the hill, go north. Continue along and head down the hill. The item box here has the a "Skill's Approval". Continue and save your game. Then go north. A fixed battle should trigger and Ichiyo will join in this fight. After, Ichiyo will give you the "Letter From Mother". Then Ichiyo will join the party. Continue to north to exit out to the OverWorld. Go left first to yet another Hermitage of the Tengu. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The tengu here will give you the scroll "Devil Wind". Then back out to the Over World and go north of Mountain Inomure to Castle of Alteration. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As you enter, more scenes. After, save your game. Enter at north. Continue up and cut the cocoon to release the first child. You will get a "Shell". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Me - Red Entertainment - Hudson Soft ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Document Copyright 2005 Kouli
