TearRing Saga Series: Berwick Saga - Strategy Guide (Page 02)
Below are the cheat codes, hints and help for TearRing Saga Series: Berwick Saga - Strategy Guide (Page 02).
~Mission 36 Winning Condition: Arrive at the temple (Lis) Losing Condition: Death of Lis, Ward; After 20 turns Ok, the temple your Lis has to get to within 20 turns is at upper left. This is another dark area, so beware. Also, try not to put Larentia in the party. As you might heard it already, there is at least one Ballister around. Also, just by the path where you cross the river, there are two enemies hiding there and don't forget there is still that unknown Ballister. So, send someone like Marcel that has good defense. The rest is just getting to that temple. This battle is much more easier than the previous one. By the temple, there is that Badrias that like most generals out there, has a General Shield. Try to use magic on him. Also, beside him, there is a Ballister. I actually broke Badrias' General Shield by using Fay and her attacks, and of course, that awesome 5-hit skill called "Divine Dancing Sword". That's about it. Once you take out that Badrias, have Lis to "Arrive" at that temple. After, more scenes. And you may advance to the next chapter. After more scenes, as usual, check out places for requests. Once you are ready, speak with Diana to start the mission: ~Mission 37 Winning Condition: Rescue Vester and gain control of the castle (Vester) Losing Condition: Death of Lis, Ward, Vester; After 24 turns The castle is to lower left and guards by that Almakis. As for the two requests that you got: Have someone that can search and walk on water, so that leaves to that Agzal. Check out the middle of the river on the middle part of the map. There is something shiny to check out; At lower right of the map, there is a villager names Tradol. Get someone to talk to him. As for the important event here, get Alvina to speak with that Scalo then speak with Vester with Alvina again. That will allow you to control Vester. More, on the main road near you, there is an Armored Soldier with a Evil God Shield, thus he has good defense and magic doesn't work. By turn 3, Vester will show up at lower right. You should send some units quickily to save the villagers or at least the important ones like Scalo and Tradol. Also, there are 4 Ballisters at the center, that can be a bit problem as well. But Agzal can take care of them, or you could get Larentia to do the job. Almakis can cast Berserk so besure to have something that can cure that. Also, there is a Laz Priest that has Scura that adds your level to the attack power. As for that Almakis, I prefer Fay's "Divine Dancing Sword" skill. Once Almakis is out, get Vester to gain control over the castle. That ends the mission. After, more scenes. Check out places and check with Diana to start the next mission: Heretic God ~Mission 38 Winning Condition: Rescue all captured women (except Safire) Losing Condition: Death of Lis, Ward; Failure on the women rescue Alright, spread around this dark area and search for Priests that have "Sacrifice" taken along. Also, try not to have Olwen moving much and separate her from your units. Start from NE, then SE, then SW at turn 9 and finally at north at turn 12. Avoid getting to those Priests at western part of the map, as well as the Dark Knight at NE. Anyway, Olwen should change to a Laz Priest by turn 13. Once you rescue all, conditions change: Winning Condition: Defeat Raspche Losing Condition: Death of Lis, Ward; Death/Capture of Safire Alright, good luck getting around the Priests that can cause lots of annoying magic, including Sleep, Berserk. Or you can try your luck and focus on that Raspche. Once you do beat him, that's it. After, more scenes. Check the office again for another scene. Once you are ready, speak with Diana and advance to the next chapter. After more scenes, check out places for requests as usual. Once you are ready, speak with Diana and get on with the next mission: ~Mission 39 Winning Condition: Defend all fortresses for 15 turns Losing Condition: Death of Lis, Ward; Failure on the fortress defense There are 5 fortresses around and besure to balance your units toward each fortress. As for the requests: One is to get the horses on the map and there are about 4 of them; Beat the Ballister Soldier that appears on around turn 11. If you can take the first sets of enemies, you should be fine. At turn 7, there are more at NW. At turn 8, SW. Turn 9, SE. Turn 10, NW again. Turn 11, SE. And finally, turn 13, SW and SE. The remaining 2 turns just for you to depend these Black Knights and Dragon Knights. The Dragon Knights can be easily avoided if you don't get in range. As for the Black Knights, you should gather up other guys(like the one that's depending a fortress but there is no enemy in sight) to block and take on the Black Knights. Once you pass turn 15, that's the end of the mission. After, more scenes. Go check out places. As you mighy aware now, you are near the end of the game. This is your last chance to do any shopping related. Once you are ready, speak with Diana to advance to the next chapter. After more scenes, you can only speak with Diana. Once you are ready, to the second last mission of the game: ~Mission 40 Winning Condition: Gain control of the castle (Lis) Losing Condition: Death of Lis, Ward, Vester, Vanmillion; After 12 turns Alright, you are surrounding the enemies and the castle is a bit left. You only have 12 turns, so you can't wait any time. Hurry and move Lis toward the castle at all cost. Half of the battle, you just watch the enemies and the Allied Armies going at it. Aside from sending some with Lis, you should also send some to lower part of the map to help out the Allied Armies, mainly to avoid getting Vester and Vanmillion killed. As for the members at left part of the map, send them up to face the enemies at the upper part of the map, as well as sending one or two to invade the castle. The Armored Soldiers and Black Knights at the upper part is probably the most difficult thing in this battle and probably the game so far. They can often gang up on members and kill them just like that. If you intend to keep your members alive, you are going to reload a lot here. Also, since you don't get to save til Turn 5, so if you are to reload before that, you have to start from the beginning, and watch the Allied Armies going at it with the enemies ONCE AGAIN. Good luck and try not to get upset that much if a Black Knight kills a member of your team, because it happens and quite often, ~_~... And remember, magic users can deal damage to these Armored Soldiers and Black Knights, but they tend to have low HPs, thus, Armored Soldiers and Black Knights can easily kill them. So if you are going for that, besure to have someone protect them or infront of them so those enemies can't get to them or in range to attack. As for that switch house for the drawbridge at north, there is an Assassin there. He can be pretty deadly. Avoid him if you have to. Once you break the gate, a general will appear at the castle. Once you beat him, get Lis to gain control of the castle. More scenes and condition changes: Winning Condition: Defeat Gordva (Lis) Losing Condition: Death of Lis, Ward, Vester, Vanmillion There is a gate near, just break that and head toward that Gordva. There is also Linet, try not to kill her and get Safire to talk to her. If not, just get to that Gordva and kill him to finish the mission. Linet will become an ally, the final one that you will get. (FINAL) After that, more scenes. Aside from Lis and Ward as usual, Fay and Linet are also fixed for the next mission. Once you are ready, speak with Diana and start the final mission of the game: ~Mission 41 (FINAL) Winning Condition: Gain control of the throne (Lis) Losing Condition: Death of Lis, Ward; Death/Capture of Linet, Fay This is it, the final battle of the game. The throne is at upper left of the map. Also, there are special doors around. For the important event here, Lis can talk with Minas. So, try to get Lis to talk with Minas ASAP. Now, to get to the throne room, you will need a Throne Room Key and who has it? No other than that fearsome Chaos. He still has the Divine Sword Vajira, and only the other Divine Sword Varitra can oppose it. Fay is the one that can use that. Seodol has the Divine Sword Varitra but he's unable to battle, also locked in a special door. Also, there are two Laz Bishops here that has Black Meteo which can attack anyone on the map. First thing to do would be hurry yourself to rescue that Minas. By the intersection where your 3 parties meet, there are few Armored Soldiers and a Gigas Knight. It will take some turns to kill them all, especially for that Giagas Knight. Linet's Palasserenia can be pretty helpful against these Knights. As you defeat that Darkness Knight that's close by, you will get the key. Use it to open the door that's near. You will see 3 more of those Armored Knights, of course, you will need to kill them before you can get to that special door with Seodol beyond that. As for the Black Knights to the left, quickily send someone to face them. They are still a pain to deal with. After you defeat one of the Armored Soldiers, it will drop a key. Use it to open the door at the center, that leads to Chaos. After Lis talks with Minas then Lis can go open the door to that Seodol. Seodol will hand you the Divine Sword Varitra. Lis then should give that to Fay. Now, once Fay equips that sword, make your way toward Chaos and those Darkness Knights. Fay should be able to defeat that Chaos easily now. Now that Chaos is dead, you will get the Throne Romm Key, have Lis to open the door. There are lots of enemies here and it can be very tough to even get near that Yakaram. To the right a bit, there is a cell where you could find Rozeok, Lid, Jenna and an Assassin. You could get Linet to use her bow to get that Assassin. BTW, there is a little addition to the losing condition which is "Death/Capture of Jenna, Rozeok, Lid". Ok, first of all, the front line should be lots of bow enemies. They also tend to wait and lure you to come for a surprise attack. Yakaram can cast Berserk so beware of that. Also, there is another Bishop can that cast Sleep. Once you take out the bow enemies, try to work on the Laz Bishops that are around or just the ones that can use Dark Heal. Then after, take out the Gigas Knight. Once Fay can get near that Yakaram, use Fay's "Divine Dancing Sword" skill. With that, Fay can probably kill that Yakaram in one turn. With Yakaram killed, you get the Jail Key that can open the door to Rozeok, Lid and Jenna. But forget about them for now. After you clear the enemies in the throne room, get Lis to open that cell up then come back to gain control over the throne. Once Lis do so, that ends this mission, as well as the game itself. After, more scenes. You can save your game if you wish. More scenes, view the letter then sit back for more scenes. After, you can check out places for scenes. Once you are ready, you can speak with Diana and pick the last option "Set Off". Confirms it and that ends the game. Enjoy the ending and don't forget to check out the Battle Record for each character. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Me - CJayC - Enterbrain ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Document Copyright 2005 Kouli
