No Mercy in Battle-
Description: Assist Oichi and defeat Keiji Maeda!
Activation: This activates when Oichi encounter Keiji Maeda. Make it so Oichi
follows you to Keiji. Defeat enemies in her way. Make sure she meets up with
Keiji before you and Ranmaru Mori to activate this mission. You might need a
horse to knock Ranmaru back so she gets there first.
Completion: Defeat Keiji Maeda before Oichi is defeated.

Dangerous Man-
Description: Assist Ranmaru Mori and defeat keiji Maeda!
Activation: This activates when Ranmaru Mori encounter Keiji Maeda. Make it
so Ranmaru follows you to Keiji. Defeat enemies in his way. Make sure he meets
up with Keiji before you and Oichi to activate this mission. You might need a
horse to knock Oichi back so he gets there first.
Completion: Defeat Keiji Maeda before Ranmaru Mori is defeated.

Desperation-
Description: Eliminate Keiji Maeda!
Activation: This activates when you encoutner Keiji Maeda.
Completion: Defeat Keiji Maeda.

Dangerous Woman-
Description: Assist Oichi (Ranmaru Mori) and defeat Noh!
Activation: This activates when either Oichi or Ranmaru Mori encounter Noh.
Allow either Oichi or Ranmaru to meet up with Noh before you do.
Completion: Defeat Noh before they are defeated.

Unforgivable-
Description: Eliminate Noh!
Activation: This activates when you encounter Noh.
Completion: Defeat Noh.

Desiring Death-
Description: Search for and eliminate Hanzo Hattori!
Activation: This activates when you reach the second floor in the castle.
Completion: Search for Hanzo Hattori. When you find him, defeat him.

More Desperation-
Description: Eliminate Magoichi Saika!
Activation: This activates when you encounter Magoichi Saika on the third
floor.
Completion: Defeat Magoichi Saika.

Solitude-
Description: Eliminate Noh!
Activation: This activates when you encounter Noh on the fourth floor.
Completion: Defeat Noh.

Two Monsters-
Description: Eliminate Keiji Maeda!
Activation: This activates when you encounter Keiji Maeda on the fifth floor.
Completion: Defeat Keiji Maeda.

Masakage-
Description: Assist the Tokugawa by occupying the enemy stronghold!
Activation: This activates at the beginning of the stage.

Nobufusa-
Description: Join up with and assist Mitsuhide Akechi!
Activation: This activates at the beginning of the stage.
Completion: Approach Mitsuhide Akechi before he is defeated.

Tainted Hands-
Description: Defeat either Masatoyo Naito or Masakage Yamagata!
Activation: This activates after "Masakage" and "Nobufusa" are completed.
Completion: Defeat either Masatoyo Naito or Masakage Yamagata before they join
up.

Withdrawal-
Description: Eliminate Shingen Takeda!
Activation: This activates after "Tainted Hands" is completed.
Completion: Defeat Shingen Takeda before he escapes.

Crumbling-
Description: Do not allow the Takeda Cavalry into the main camp!
Activation: This activates if you enter the central fields before completing
"Masakage" and "Nobufusa".
Completion: Prevent the Takeda Cavlry from entering your camp by obliterating
them.

Friendly Fire-
Description: Protect the musket unit until it can fire.
Activation: This activates after completing "Masakage" and "Nobufusa" and
failing "Tainted Hands".
Completion: Lure the Takeda Cavalry into range of the Oda muskets.

Siege Ramp-
Description: Destroy the Siege Ramp and protect the west gate!
Activation: This activates at the beginning of the stage.
Completion: Destroy the Siege Ramp.

Sunomata-
Description: Take Sunomata Castle and defend the main gate!
Activation: This activates at the beginning of the stage.
Completion: Enter Sunomata and defeat Kageie Kakizaki.

Kenshin and Keiji-
Description: Do not let Kenshin Uesugi near Keiji Maeda!
Activation: This activates after "Siege Ramp" and "Sunomata" are completed.
Completion: Approach Kenshin Uesugi to make him leave before Keiji Maeda
reaches him.

Betrayal means Death-
Description: Eliminate Keiji Maeda!
Activation: This activates after "Kenshin and Keiji" fails.
Completion: Keiji Maeda will defect so you will have to defeat him.

War God's Army-
Description: Do not let the spies escape!
Activation: This activates after either "Kenshin and Keiji" or "Betrayal means
Death" is completed.
Completion: Defeat the Spy Leader before his unit escapes.

Luring Kenshin-
Description: Occupy the Uesugi main camp!
Activation: This activates after "War God's Army" is completed.
Completion: Go down to the main camp and defeat the 5 Defense Captains. Then
enter and defeat Sadamitsu Usami and Kagekatsu Uesugi.

White Fangs-
Description: Do not allow the Uesugi Army to enter Gifu Castle!
Activation: This activates after "Luring Kenshin" is completed.
Completion: Defeat Kenshin Uesugi before he enters Gifu.

Trapped-
Description: Defeat the enemy officers and surround the Mt. Ten-oh!
Activation: This activates at the beginning of the stage.
Completion: Defeat Shigetomo Akechi, Hidemitsu Akechi, and Toshimitsu Saito.

Infernal Sniper-
Description: Eliminate Magoichi Saika!
Activation: This activates after you defeat Shigetomo Akechi.
Completion: Defeat Magoichi Saika, he will be in the northern cave.

True Samurai-
Description: Eliminate Yukimura Sanada!
Activation: This activates after you defeat Nobuharu Tsuda.
Completion: Defeat Yukimura Sanada. You fail if he defeats an Oda officer.

Hideyoshi isolated-
Description: Go and assist the isolated Hideyoshi Hashiba!
Activation: This activates after you defeat Magoichi Saika if Junkei Tsutsui
is still alive.
Completion: Approach Hideyoshi Hashiba to help him.

Cruel Fate-
Description: Prevent Kunoichi and Yukimura from joining up!
Activation: This activates after "True Samurai" fails.
Completion: Kunoichi will appear in the west side of the caves. Defeat her
before she joins up with Yukimura Sanada.

Road to Victory-
Description: Escort Ranmaru Mori to Mitsuhide Akechi's position!
Activation: This activates after "Trapped" is completed.
Completion: Guide Ranmaru Mori to the south of the map. Defeat enemies
preventing him from getting there and keep him alive.

Enemy in the Fog-
Description: Use the fog to ambush Mitsuhide Akechi!
Activation: This activates after "Road to Victory" is completed.
Completion: Approach Mitsuhide Akechi before the fog clears.

Activation: This activates once Koroku Hachisuka reaches the western forest.
Completion: Defeat Koroku Hachisuka.

Resolution
Description: Take Sunomata Castle and silence its Cannons!
Activation: This activates once the sun rises and after the scene with
Hideyoshi Hashiba when there are about 25 minutes left.
Completion: Enter Sunomata and defeat Hideyoshi Hashiba.

Prove Yourself-
Description: Defeat all Oda officers!
Activation: This activates after you encounter Noh.
Completion: Defeat any Oda officers remaining.

Hanbei's Revolt-
Description: Prevent Hanbei Takenaka's revolt!
Activation: This activates after the first three missions are completed and if
Hanbei Takenaka is still alive.
Completion: Defeat Hanbei Takenaka.

-The Battle of Ise-

Ready Fire Attack-
Description: Eliminate the fortress defense troops!
Activation: This activates at the beginning of the stage.
Completion: Defeat the Pilgrims at 2 of any of the 4 fortresses. Because of
where you start at, I suggest the north and east fortresses. You will fail if
eight minutes elapse and you have not occupied 2 fortresses.

Ready Cannons-
Description: Protect the Cannon unit until it can attack!
Activation: This activates after "Ready Fire Attack" is completed.
Completion: Just keep Yoshitaka Kuki alive until the cannons can fire. Unless
playing on hard, you shouldn't really have to do anything, though if he gets in
trouble you should go help him.

Rekindling-
Description: Protect and secure a path for the task force!
Activation: This activate after "Ready Fire Attack" is completed.
Completion: Keep Hideyoshi Hashiba alive and get him through to the enemy
fortress. He might be able to get there himself, but just to make sure or
proceed faster, follow him and defeat the enemies in his path.

Fire Ploy-
Description: Protect and secure a path for the task force!
Activation: This activates after you fail "Ready Fire Attack".
Completion: Keep Hideyoshi Hashiba alive and guide him through to the enemy 
fortress. You fail if he is defeated.

Occupation-
Description: Occupy all four enemy fortresses!
Activation: This activates after you fail either "Rekindling" or "Fire Ploy".
Completion: Defeat the Pilgrims at each indicated fortress.

Surrender-
Description: Prevent the enemy from surrendering!
Activation: This activates after completing either "Rekindling", "Fire Ploy",
or "Occupation".
Completion: Defeat Shoukei and Magoichi Saika before they surrender.

Life is Power-
Description: Defeat Tomosada Hattori and secure an escape route!
Activation: This activates after "Surrender" is completed.
Completion: Defeat Tomasada Hattori.

Peasants' Escape-
Description: Allow the peasants to escape safely!
Activation: This activates after completing "Surrender".
Completion: Guide the Pilgrims to the Escape Point. If you get close to them,
they will follow you. If you get too far from them, they will stop. If less
than two escape then this mission fails.

Saying Goodbye-
Description: Defeat Ranmaru Mori and clear the south gate!
Activation: This activates at the beginning of the stage.
Completion: Defeat Ranmaru Mori. This might be a little difficult since Ranmaru
is powered up and heals himself about halfway through.

Bellflower-
Description: Protect the fire attack unit!
Activation: This activates after encountering Ranmaru Mori.
Completion: Make sure te fire attack unit reaches the destination point. Marked
with a blue X. This fails if they are defeated.

Promise to the Dead-
Description: Eliminate Noh!
Activation: This activates when you encounter Noh.
Completion: Defeat Noh.

Innocence Lost-
Description: Eliminate Oichi!
Activation: This activates when you encounter Oichi.
Completion: Defeat Oichi.

The Enemy-
Description: Eliminate Nobunaga Oda!
Activation: This activates when you encounter Nobunaga Oda.
Completion: Defeat Nobunaga Oda.

-The Battle of Yamasaki- (Upper Path)
------------------------

Mt. Ten-oh-
Description: Defeat defense's unit and seal the enemy camp's gate!
Activation: This activates at the beginning of the stage.
Completion: Head to the blue X and defeat the three Defense Captains.

Saving Matsuda-
Description: Defeat the enemy army and rescue Masachika Matsuda!
Activation: This activates after "Mt. Ten-oh" is completed.
Completion: Defeat Kiyohide Nakagawa and Shigetomo Takayama before they defeat
Masachika Matsuda.

The Summit-
Description: Defeat enemy at the summit and occupy Mt. Ten-oh!
Activation: This activates after "Saving Matsuda" is completed.
Completion: Defeat all enemies at Mt. Ten-oh.

No Reinforcements-
Description: Defeat Nagahide Niwa's unit!
Activation: This activates after 5 minutes pass.
Completion: Defeat Nagahide Niwa.

Great Tiger-
Description: Defeat Keiji Maeda and rescue Sadayuki Atsuji!
Activation: This activates after "No Reinforcements" is completed and Keiji
Maeda encounters Sadayuki Atsuji.
Completion: Defeat Keiji Maeda before he defeats Sadayuki Atsuji.

Tragedy of War-
Description: Subjucate the peasant militia!
Activation: This activates after the completion of "No Reinforcements".
Completion: Defeat the peasant troops inside the cave.

Clear the Cave-
Description: Clear the cave as quickly as possible!
Activation: This activates if you enter the cave from the east side during
"The Summit".
Completion: You succeed once you reach the west side of the cave before too
much time elapses.

Monkey tactics-
Description: Rescue the Tsuda forces, and defeat the Kuroda Army!
Activation: This activates if you fail the first four missions and once Nobuharu
Tsuda advances into the cave and he gets ambushed by Kanbei Kuroda.
Completion: Defeat Kanbei Kuroda.

Description: Eliminate the enemy ninja unit!
Activation: This activates once you enter the big room on the first floor and
ninja units appear.

Completion: Defeat Hanzo Hattori.

Description: Eliminate the enemy fire attack unit!
Activation: This activates at the beginning of the stage.
Completion: Defeat Narimasa Sassa, Kazumasu Takigawa, and Nobutada Oda before
they set Azuchi ablaze.

The Flames spread-
Description: Prevent enemy's unit from clearing the castle gate!
Activation: This activates wehn Hideyoshi Hashiba reaches the western part of
the map.
Completion: Defeat Hideyoshi Hashiba before he clears the southwest gate.

Prediction-
Description: Do not let the enemy Spear Cannon clear the gate!
Activation: This activates once the Spear Cannon appears and Katsuie Shibata
reaches the center of the map.
Completion: Defeat Katsuie Shibata before he and his Spear Cannons clear the
southern gate.

Stop the Hashiba-
Description: Keep the Oda Army away from the tower!
Activation: This activates if "The Flames Spread" fails and Hideyoshi Hashiba,
Nagahide Niwa, or Toshie Maeda begins battle with Shigetomo Akechi.
Completion: Defeat the indicated generals.

Stop the Shibata-
Description: Keep the Oda Army away from the tower!
Activation: This activates if "Prediction" fails and Katsuie Shibata or
Nobumori Sakuma defeat Toshimitsu Saito.
Completion: Defeat the indicated generals.

Moth to a Flame-
Description: Defeat the Oda units inside the castle!
Activation: This activates when you enter that gateway in the southest that
locks you in.
Completion: Defeat all enemies inside to get free.

Nothing Sacred-
Description: Thwart enemy's fire attack!
Activation: This activates two minutes after you fail "Stop the Fire".
Completion: Defeat Nobutada Oda and Kazumasu Takigawa.

Demon's March-
Description: Keep the Nobunaga Oda's unit away from the tower!
Activation: This activates after defeating 3 enemy officers or failing
"Nothing Sacred".
Completion: Defeat Nobunaga Oda.

Activation: This activates upon entering the northern cave.
Completion: Find and defeat all 5 ambush parties.

Avenger-
Description: Eliminate Hideyoshi Hashiba and defend the east gate!
Activation: This activates after 3 minutes and 30 seconds pass after completing
"East Gate".
Completion: Defeat Hideyoshi Hashiba before he clears the east gate.

Reason-
Description: Do not attack Ranmaru Mori! Endure as long as you can!
Activation: This activates after you encounter Ranmaru and after "East Gate"
is completed.
Completion: You must remain near Ranmaru Mori. Guard against his attacks. You
fail if he is defeated or you separate from him. Avoid attacking him.

Nobunaga advances-
Description: Stop Nobunaga before the attack starts!
Activation: This activates after 20 minutes with Shigetomo Akechi alive and
the completion of "West Gate".
Completion: Encounter Nobunaga Oda. You fail if he reaches Mt. Ten-oh.

Completion: First, make sure you have defeated Hanzo Hattori before completing
"Stop Ieyasu". Defeat him again during "Lonely Guy" and make sure you meet with
Magoichi Saika. Then defeat Hanzo again during "The Real Shadow". Now go and
defeat the Ieyasu in the northeast to complete this mission. 

The Real Trap-
Description: Eliminate Yasumasa Sakakibara!
Activation: This activates after "Which is the Decoy" fails.
Completion: Defeat Yasumasa Sakakibara.

No Escape-
Description: Prevent Ieyasu Tokugawa from escaping!
Activation: This activates after "Which is the Decoy" fails.
Completion: Defeat Ieyasu Tokugawa before he escapes.

Lonely Guy-
Description: Provide support for Magoichi Saika!
Activation: This activates after "Stop Ieyasu" is completed.
Completion: Help Magoichi by defeating some soldiers or generals around him.

Description: Protect the City of Sakai from the enemy!
Activation: This activates at the beginning of the stage.
Completion: Don't allow any enemies to defeat any of the Reserve Captains. When
you, Goemon Ishikawa, or Magoichi Saika approach an enemy they will begin to
mobilize to attack a gate. Losing one or two is okay, but losing three will end
the level in defeat.

Playtime is not over-
Description: Do not let the Oichi Army advance further!
Activation: This activates after all enemy generals outside the Oda camp are
defeated.
Completion: Defeat Oichi before she takes a gate.

Forbidden Love-
Description: Do not allow Noh to advance further!
Activation: This activates when you encounter Noh. If this mission is activated
before "Playtime is not over" that mission won't activate.
Completion: Defeat Noh before she takes a gate.

Repel the Invader-
Description: Do not let the Nobunaga Oda Army advance further!
Activation: This activates after Oichi is defeated and you encounter Nobunaga
Oda.
