Radiata Stories - Strategy Guide (Page 03)
Below are the cheat codes, hints and help for Radiata Stories - Strategy Guide (Page 03).
==== ============
CC02 Goblin Haven
==== ============
West of the City of Flowers is the Nowem Region. West of the Nowem
Region is the Forest Metropolis. Near the Forest Metropolis is the
Sediche Region where Goblin Have awaits.
A Remember to reform your party in the City of Flowers. In the same
room where you can reform your party, look for the arrow on the
left wall. Enter into the room to initiate a cutscene.
It seems the shop owners won't let you pass, so it's back to Lord
Zane. After speaking to Lord Zane, return to the Courtyard. Speak
to the Dwarven Shopkeeper, Vladimir to the left of the Anteroom
entrance. After speaking to Vladimir, enter the Anteroom to speak
to Clarence. Return to speak to Lord Zane, then head back to the
two shopkeepers to deliver the news.
From the courtyard, enter through the center door on the left wall
to the entrance of Fort Helencia. Speak to Coco. From the entrance
of Fort Helencia, head south to the Cuatour Region.
Follow the trail to the Nowem Region, then head south. Head across
the river and continue following the trail to the left where that
one Dark Elf previously neglected any passage through the Sediche
Region. This may seem like a dead-end, but start to the very end
of the path.
Kick the tree to bring down a platform which takes you to the area
above. Follow the path to another dead-end. There will be another
platform that raises to a chest above. Now obtain the contents and
continue to the left to the next area.
Head south, take the platform to the level below, then proceed to
the next area. Kick the tree to bring the platform down. Step on
to the platform and enter Goblin Haven which is shortly ahead.
Access the Save Point, Save, then continue through the northern
passage.
O ================================================================= O
(Event) Boss Battle: Gawain

You don't possibly stand a chance against Gawain. He will attack
Jack and quickly step back, so make sure one of your attacks on
the Attack List start with a quick thrust.

Like Natalie, Gawain has three attacks that deal critical damage,
but nothing that can't be healed with a Herb Extract. Continue
attacking Gawain until he performs his Leo Smash Royale.

This battle is finished.
O ================================================================= O
If you had lost against Gawain, you will be given a second chance.
Remember to use attacks that deal a string of attacks in one turn,
starting with a quick attacking, otherwise you will never hit him.
O ================================================================= O
(Event) Boss Battle: Gawain Continuation

Gawain should be much easier now that he is somewhat worn out.
I would suggest equipping a sword skill with a quick thrust,
rather than something that takes longer to thrust your sword.
Attack and Defend to build up your Volty Meter, and use attacks
such as Extension Aura.

Attacking and Defending is a must to win this battle. Rushing in
to attack is suicide. If you lose the battle, step into the Aura
of Healing. You can then attempt to defeat Gawain again.
O ================================================================= O
==== =============
CC03 Fort Helencia
==== =============
Access the Pig Statue and teleport back to Fort Helencia to initiate
a cutscene.
O ================================================================= O
(Event) Boss Battle: Daniel, Jarvis

With Gawain in your party, just run into th pack ahead. You may
have some fun with this battle, just be sure to equip something
that attacks both Daniel and Jarvis at the same time.

Attack Jarvis before Daniel, as Daniel is just as easy as when
you fought him previously. Jarvis can be taken out with a simple
Volty Attack, Daniel can be taken out without even breaking a
sweat.
O ================================================================= O
You've been removed from the Guild, and have now been branded as a
traitor to the Humans.
A Speak to Naom just outside of Lord Zane's Room to add him to your
Friends' List.
Head back to Jack's Room in Fort Helencia and access the Save Point.
Save, then Sleep, then return to the Courtyard.
A Speak to Franz by the Friends' Sphere. He will be added to your
Friends' List.
Access the Items or Equipment Shop to restock on better equipment
or more supplies, then from the courtyard, proceed out the door
to the left. Speak to Mikey in the corner of this room for some
short dialogue.
==== ================
CC04 Algandars Castle
==== ================
Our next stop is Algandars Castle. Access the Pig Statue outside
of Fort Helencia and teleport to Earth Valley. Follow this trail
through the Dova Region to the Adien Region. Turn at the second
fork in the trail. You should now be heading towards the Septem
Region.
Keep following the main trail, past the Septem Cave, then north
at the next fork. This should bring you to another trail with
two more possible trails to follow. The northern trail is the
path to Algandars Castle.
Access the door directly in front of you. This takes you to a very
large chamber with four possible paths to follow. The lower-right
door takes you to a small room with a chest. A Lucky Charm can be
found inside the chest.
The upper-right chamber is a room that leads to a dead-end. Enter
the south-center corridor as all the other rooms are empty. This
initiates a cutscene. Continue down the stairs to a small chamber,
then continue through the door to the right. This will initiate a
cutscene.
Start down the corridor, continue down the stairs and through the
door to the next area. This brings you to another large chamber.
Locate the large door in the center of this room and proceed to
the next chamber.
O ================================================================= O
(Event) Boss Battle: King Algandars

Don't say I didn't warn you. Oh, Wait, I didn't. The Demon is a
very powerful enemy, though if you can defeat it, then you are
ready for just about anything in this game.

Stay behind the Demon and keep your party healed. This way, your
allies will receive all the damage, and you can focus more on
the Crystals. If the Demon turns towards you, then quickly Guard
to avoid any unneccessary damage.

When you start breaking enough crystals, the Demon starts to get
somewhat desperate. Electricity will begin to glow around him.
Immediately get behind the demon to avoid this attack.
O ================================================================= O
Return to Fort Helencia to initiate a cutscene. Return to Jack's Room,
access the Save Point, Save, then Sleep.
==== =============
CC05 Fire Mountain
==== =============
The quickest way to Fire Mountain is through the Dorse Region. Access
the Pig Stone just outside. Enter the Goblin City and exit the other
side. Follow the trail through to the Dichette Region. This will then
initiate a cutscene.
O ================================================================= O
(Event) Boss Battle: Elwen

Time to fight the Theatre Vancoor Guild Master. She will easily
deal a string of critical blows, so it might be a good idea to
have a Volty Attack ready.

Just give this battle all you've got. You will not get Game Over
for being defeated.
O ================================================================= O
Remember to Heal after finishing this battle so you don't fall victim
against one of the easier enemies. Your first instinct may be to head
foward, but you can find Scale Armor in a chest behind you. Now start
down the western trail, and do not turn until you see a lava fountain,
with a shifting platform to the left.
A Crossing the shifting platform to the left brings Jack to a chest
containing a Life Berry.
Head to the right just a bit, then continue up the northern trail to
come to come to another two-way path.
A If you are in need of fire resistance, then proceed down the path
to the right to a chest that contains Scale Armor.
Following the west trail, you will find a shifting platform almost
before where the camera and the path begins to turn. Now step on
to the shifting platform, then follow the trail into Fire Mountain.
Once in Fire Mountain, follow the trail leading off to the left to
initiate a cutscene.
O ================================================================= O
(Event) Battle Scene: Female Knight, Male Knight, Round Knight

This is a pretty basic battle so there isn't really must needed
to be said. Just keep your allies healed with Circle Song or a
Moon Stone. Use attacks that can attack more than one target at
the same time, and remember to use the Attack / Guard strategy.
O ================================================================= O
O ================================================================= O
(Event) Boss Battle: Cross, Male Knights

You really have to watch out for Cross's Celistal Line. Victory
depends on how well your characters are levelled at the present
time. Since Celestial Line will be used early within the battle,
you would immeidately be defeated against this attack, as this
attack delivers over 1200 Damage.

Fortunately, losing against Cross does not mean a Game Over. It
just means that you need to spend a while levelling up Jack.
O ================================================================= O
Two more are added to you Friend's List. Access the Save Point, Save,
then Sleep. Head to Lord Zane's Room and speak to Gawain to initiate
a cutscene.
O ================================================================= O
(Event) Boss Battle: Gawain

He will evade most of Jack's attacks same as before, so you will
need to corner him to stop him from jumping out of range. He can
still use the Leo Smash Royale, which can pretty much end the
Battle.

Gawain is pretty much the same as before, only now he deals more
damage in his attacks.
O ================================================================= O
Return to Jack's Room, Save, then Sleep. Exit Fort Helencia through
the eastern passage in the Courtyard to initiate a cutscene.
O ================================================================= O
(Event) Boss Battle: Knight Brigade

The same as before in Fire Mountain. This time you can give your
new Arbitrator a try. These Knights are a simply pushover. There
may be quite a few, but using the Arbitrator, the sword is quite
quick.

The Knights have a pretty strong attack, so remember to use the
Attack / Guard command.
O ================================================================= O
O ================================================================= O
(Event) Boss Battle: Cross

Since we are aware of the devestating attack that Cross performs,
I would suggest focusing your attacks on him, while your allies
are focused more on the Guards.

With the Arbitrator now in hand, press the Square Button after
Cross begins his Volty Attack. Keep doing this until he stops
casting his Volty Attack.

He'll eventually call a Kamikaze Link, which means "Kill them
Recklessly". You may actually be able to win this battle with
some strategy as long as you keep breaking Cross's Volty Attack.
O ================================================================= O
Return to speak to Ganz, then speak to Lord Zane, then enter Jack's
Room. Save, then Sleep, then speak to everyone within Fort Helencia.
After speaking to everyone in Fort Helencia, the story continues.
After reading the letter, Save, then Sleep.
Follow the path and exit this area. Head south and follow the trail
back to Fort Helencia. Return to Jack's Room, Save, then Sleep. The
story will then continue.
==== ====================
CC06 City of White Nights
==== ====================
This will be a pretty distant walk. Teleport to the Adien Region to
begin towards to City of White Nights. From there, follow the path
and do not make any turns until you have passed the Septem Cave.
Turn at the path just after the Septem Cave, but before the small
village.
Head south once the path begins to split, then cross the bridge to
the Dysett Region. Continue down the path to initiate a cutscene.
O ================================================================= O
(Event) Boss Battle: Gerald

This isn't Jarvis, and his attacks can become pretty poweful. You
might remember fighting Gerald if you ever kicked him purposely
to make him upset.

Attack and Guard won't work as easily here, as Gerald can easily
break your Guard. If you see Gerald begin his Volty Attack, then
immediately knock him down, and continue to do so until he stops,
otherwise his Dual Wave Blade can immediately knock out one of
your party members.

Just continue pummeling at Gerald. You shouldn't get a Game Over
for losing, as that Dual Wave Blade will come more than once in
this battle.
O ================================================================= O
The City of White Nights should be shortly ahead, be sure to access
the Pig Stone and head back to Fort Helencia if you need to restock
on items. Continue onward to initiate a cutscene.
O ================================================================= O
(Event) Boss Battle: Cross

Unfortunately, Cross will use his attack at the beginning of the
battle this time, so you must be quick on your feet.

If you lose this battle, it's a Game Over.
O ================================================================= O
There's a GIF Guide that can show you how to do the City of White
Nights Maze. Keep in mind that certain ladders will crumble, and
stepping on to the falling sand will cause you to fall one or more
levels below.
Here's the GIF Map:

==== ==================
CC07 Gold Dragon Castle
==== ==================
To save the pain of having to do all that again I'd seriously consider
accessing the Save Point and using the HP Aura. Continue up the stairs
to initiate a cutscene. Continue to the very top of the monument. Once
at the top, another cutscene will begin.
O ================================================================= O
\ (Event) Final Boss: Silver Dragon, Lucian /
/ \
\ Lucian is on Auto-Regain, which basically means that staying idle /
/ for too long is bad. Lucian attacks around 250 Damage on a normal \
\ attack. Criticals, well that's another story. Guards will nullify /
/ this to around 50 Damage. \
\ /
/ If you see him close up for a short period of time, immediately \
\ get out from his sight. Go behind him or something to avoid a /
/ devestating attack. Your attacks tend to miss quite a bit, but \
\ Lucian's attacks are also pretty slow. /
/ \
\ He has around 18,000 HP, and regains HP pretty quickly, so this /
/ will either be a pretty long battle, or a pretty short one. The \
\ strategy here is to keep circling around Lucian so he can't get /
/ a proper attack on Jack. \
\ /
/ Use Volty Attacks the moment they become available. Lucian will \
\ regain his HP way too quickly to be wasing time with regular /
/ attacks. Though Army of Shadows works, using Limit Break may tend \
\ to be much more useful. /

This concludes Radiata Stories. Wait to the end of the Credits for an
extra scene. You'll then be able to Save and start the game strong.
This time you should be able to defeat Ridley.

Should you choose to visit Larks in Radiata Castle,
Jack will still be enemies with the Dwarves, and
the Elves. You'll be leaving Ridley behind, then
leave Theatre Vancoor to rejoin the Radiata Knights.

All Non-Humans, including Ridley, will become your
enemy, and no Non-Human on your Friends' List will
be allowed to join your party.
