The higher these points the faster the car is speed wise.

The higher these points are the easier it is to turn / maneuver.

Parts are usually unlocked after you win a big race like a tournament, or you
move up a rank in a mode.

Vinyls are unlocked buy gaining style points almost everytime.
*_*_*_*_*13.3-More Paint Colors*_*_*_*_*
Paint colors are usually unlocked around race 25 and race 60. You do still
have to pay to buy them but they are now there for you to buy and enjoy.

Cars are unlocked numerous way including style points, winning races, beating
tournaments, and setting records.
