Funny Thing 4:
Difficult Mode only?.
If you are quick, once you defeat the Thick Armor, his body (black color)
will be available for hit practice and it will not drop on the floor if you
are able to keep hitting it continuously.

Conditions : Increase your strength to the max for the quick winning.
Tips : You can always use R1 to defense as it will only decrease a very
small amount of your health when get hit and you will not suffer
from the elemental effect.
When you are burned, equip Beads of Red and Gold to fasten remove
the effect. Or else for a quick recovery, assign the Talisman of
Protection on the directional button.
When you Kamui gauges is full, use Kamui on him. After he shouts
"Shine" use a second Kamui and when the laser beam is close to
you press [] to deflect it. Wait,the second laser beam is coming,
deflect it, without using Kamui is advisable.
Successfully doing a 2/3 hits Kamui Combo will destroy Kiyomori's
shield leaving him Vulnerable as he does not move nor perform any
counterattack whatsoever when you slash him as you wish for a
short moment.
However, you have a choice to finish him with style.
Obviously, you still have Kamui gauge left
(Double Kamui is advisable).
Right after the shield is gone, perform another Kamui on him.
This time the laser beams is different. You need to wait for a
short moment and let some of the beams passing by before you need
to press the Kamui one more time for a Double Kamui.
Deflect the laser beam and this time it will reduce Kiyomori's
health. After you hit him, wait until he raises another shield
before pressing the next Kamui otherwise it will be a waste.
The easier way is to destroy the shield with combo hits and
perform a Double/Triple Kamui on Kiyomori once the shield broke.
And you might want to use the Medicine of Power on him. OUch!!!
Repeat the pattern for 5(five) times to defeat him if you want to
use the Kamui style.
QUICK WINNING:
Takes about 30 seconds :)
Equip Charm of Tyranny + powerful weapon before entering the door
(Strength +40:237, Defense -40:177),
Run toward Kiyomori,
quickly use Medicine of Power(Strength + weapon attack point:312)
(directional button focus on Kiyomori)
release your Triangle attack + slash for 2/3 hits,
destroy the shield with combos (around 10 hits more of combo),
you may need to defend for one fireball,
destroy the shield,
slash Kiyomori,
Kiyomori raises the shield again,
you will need to block the laser falls and keep hitting to the
shield or run to your left/right and keep hitting to the shield,
the shield is destroyed,
slash Kiyomori for a few hits.
That is it!!!

QUICK WINNING:
Takes about 15 seconds :)
Equip Charm of Tyranny and The Gale before entering the door.
Everything else is the same as above as in the Normal Mode.
The Triangle attack needs to hit Kiyomori for 2/3 hits with the
use of Medicine of Power.
The shield will collapse before Kiyomori got a chance to send
his fireball.
slash him with Offensive Combos! (6 hits full power thrust)
for a final few seconds.
Result: 25/26 combo hits.

CHALLENGE MODE:
How many combos can you get?
Equip Charm of Tyranny + Unsigned Sword before entering the door
Run toward Kiyomori,
half way!, release your Triangle attack + slash for 2/3 hits,
Kiyomori raises the shield,
combo the shield,
defend for one fireball,
avoid or block the iceberg and the lightning while keep hitting
the shield,
Once the shield is destroyed,
slash Kiyomori for free,
Kiyomori raises the shield again,
and you are pushed to the corner,
perform Kamui (this way, the combo hit is still counting and
you are able to approach to the shield),
send Triangle attack to the shield and 3 hits combo before you
avoid the laser beams by running to the left or right and keep
hitting the shield one hit by one hit while keep running from
the next laser beam (usually there will be 2/3 laser beams),
you will be pushed to the corner again,
perform Kamui and the combo hits again to the shield,
when the shield is destroyed, slash Kiyomori for free,
repeat the process and remember to block or avoid the laser beam
and keep sending a hit or two at the shield to preserve the
combo counting.
When you are going to be hit, quickly perform Kamui, you will be
invincible for a temporary moment and the combo counting is
still preserved.
The most annoying part is the laser beams (also during a Kamui),
but do not worry, it usually comes in subsequent within 2 seconds
in distance or so.
Proceed to the front of the shield, avoid each of them by running
to the left and/or right and keep hitting for one time, avoid,
hit one time again.
In some cases, the laser attack during a Kamui and your quick eyes
still manage to see the [] sign, hit it and you will deflect it
back to Kiyomori. But we are here to accumulate combo hits, right.
One more thing, when Kiyomori is sending his laser falls,
just keep running to the left and right to avoid while keep
hitting one hit at the shield.
That is it!!! And enjoy the fight :)
Result in Normal Mode:
*159 combo hits and Invincible Sword Skill Ranking
when equipped with Charm of Tyranny and Lightning Sword*
*343 combo hits and Invincible Sword Skill Ranking
when equipped with Charm of Tyranny and Unsigned Sword*
Note : Yoritomo will summon a powerful shield around him.
You can hit it with combo to break it.
Meanwhile Yoritomo will send his elemental attacks to you
First pattern:
1)Fire Smoke
One slow fire smoke. Keep moving or jump to avoid.
2)Twin Fireballs
Two fireballs with a good speed homing at you.
Keep moving of jump.
3)Ice
Iceberg coming from the ground. Easy to avoid by moving around.
You can hit to destroy the iceberg.
4)Lightning
There as a sign from above your head warning you to run from it.
When hit you will sometimes be paralyzed for a while.
Just shake your body to remove the effect.
After the shield has broken for the first time, he will release
additional attacks to the pattern:
5)Laser beam
It is a quick shot and it will break your defense for a second.
Not to worry about though.
6)Doughnut Laser Beams
A circular laser form as a round doughnut, it's size it getting
smaller with you inside of it and then explode.
Jump over the doughnut and you will be fine.
Other way and more stylish is to use defend(R1) + Jump(X),
in other words; use dodging at the right timing.
After the shield has broken for the second time, he will release
other additional attacks to the pattern:
7)Golden Iceberg
This time if you touch it, you will get hit.
You cannot destroy it.
8)Laser Beams Drop
A group of laser beams aiming at you.
This one is easy to avoid. Just keep moving.
9)Laser Combo Hits
This time even you are at defense,
the next laser beam will hit you. Do not stay in one place.
All right, this time if you do a Kamui on him, sometimes you will
need to counterattack 3 laser beams in a row in order to destroy
the shield. The shield has grown stronger.
As long as you are equipped with Gem of Medicine and defending as
needed, you will be very fine.
After the shield has broken for the third time, he will release
other additional attacks to the pattern:
10)Laser fall

Press [] when it is close to you to deflect it and put a small!
damage on Kiyomori.

Difficult Mode: Kiyomori is a lot tougher in defense, however, he speaks of
the same style and you will have no difficulty in defeating him
The only thing is you will need more time and be more patience.

Accessory equipped: Gem of Medicine (advisable if you get hurt/Charm of Force)

Experience : 4230-4500 Exp. for the quick winning. Depends of the Sword Skill.
Conditions : Full Kamui Gauge is a must for the quick winning
for easy execution.
Tips : Easy way
Always defend and attack with Triangle button.
When he is a bit far, use the direction plus Triangle button
to hit him.
When the laser beams comes from the above, run to your right,
hide under the golden leaves :). It will not hit you!
Or use defend, you will only loose a very little amount of health
However, once he is angry/ his health has been reduced by half?
the last bang of the laser beam will spread on the ground.
You have to jump onto the golden leaves nearby or jump Up with a
good timing right after the sixth group of laser beams.
When he attacks from many directions, just be patience and defend
When he becomes a black shadow, nothing to worry about.

result for regenerating his health.
When he becomes shiny, be careful of his poison attack.
Your health limit will be at 1 the least and if you get another

Kamui Rules:
Once started, jump onto the golden leaves on your right.
When you perform a Kamui, he will ALWAYS come from the above,

Combo on him (reduce about a half of his health).
After that, he will continue attacking you and this will give you
a chance to counterattack if the timing is right.
Do not forget to use Medicine of Power on him for big damage.
Easy trick:
Be at the top of the center tower, use Kamui on Kagekiyo.
He will appear in front of you laughing with ZERO defense.
Feel free to slash him as you wish.
After a few free slashes, the Kamui process will begin
just like a normal one.

CHALLENGE MODE:
How many combos can you get?
Equip Charm of Tyranny + Unsigned Sword before entering the fight
jump your way to the center tower,
wait for Kagekiyo to follow and defend for his first attack,
quickly perform a Kamui,
Kagekiyo will laugh, slash him for 5-6 hits combo,
combo the Kamui for 5 times in a row.
Because you equip the Unsigned sword (lowest attack level),
you will need to hit the [] button for many times on Kagekiyo.
The Kamui will hold for 5 Kamui combo hits.
After comboing the Kamui for 5 times in a row,
Kagekiyo will be released from the Kamui and he will attack you.
Now, it is Very Important for you to be at the BEST position to
hit him again at least once and then here we go Kamui again.
It is advisable to release a Kamui during this important moment
although Kagekiyo will not be influenced to drag into the Kamui
session, however, his movement is more predictable and you are
able to take advantage of it and hit him at least once and then
be my guess to drag him again into the Kamui session.
Important! It is safer to defend right after the 5 hits Kamui
Combo because Kagekiyo moves is a bit unpredictable after
you comboed him.
The counting on the screen will stay for a few seconds and
there is still enough time for you to connect to the next Kamui
session thus your combo counting will continue.
If, during the second Kamui session(after the 5 hits Kamui combo)
you choose to defend and Kagekiyo will then falls down to the
ground below, you can decide to use another Kamui bar as long as
Kagekiyo is facing to your standing point.
And the Kamui will start again at the top of the center tower.
If, during a defend, Kagekiyo starts a force field attack,
he will be invincible for a moment even for a Kamui session.
Just wait for a second and you are welcome to use the Kamui again
to continue the combo counting.
Repeat the process.
That means you need to perform continuous Kamui in order to
preserve the combo counting on the screen.
Yes, right after the 5th Kamui combo hits,
(hit him at least once/defense and wait to release another Kamui)
Repeat.
This is the real challenge!.
How many times can you keep up with Kagekiyo? :)~
The best timing to hit the [] button is when Kagekiyo rushing down
from the above and his hand start swinging down to hit you
with his sword.
Note : Use the item Medicine of Power to your advantage.
You are able to jump from one leave to another and finally to
the highest place, the tower at the center.
Sometimes he regenerates his own health when he hits you.
Kamui Flash:1)At the top of the center tower, perform Kamui.
When Kagekiyo attacks you from the above, pay a good attention
to his hand start swinging down the sword and quickly press [].
It will be a 5 hits Kamui Combo rating.
1)In other case, if you perform the Kamui on the ground, you will
watch him laughing at the top of the center tower.
At this important moment, place yourself on the right side of
the screen (or left, it is your choice).
First attack:
He will (pay attention) disappear and suddenly reappear on the
ground (left point from where you stand).

for a full Kamui bar on your pocket.
If possible, on the first hit from Kagekiyo,
do not use a Kamui bar. Save it for the next big hits.

Or equip Beads of Purple Poison (to prevent the effect of
Poison attack),
Or equip Gem of Medicine for perfect defense,
Charm of Tyranny plus Medicine of Power for the quick
winning.

Difficult Mode: Kiyomori is a lot more tougher! in defense.
He speaks of the same style, but you will have a little bit of
difficulty in defeating him. His defense is sooo strong it
only reduce a tiny bit when you hit him and a little bit only
when you perform a single kamui.
The best thing you can do is to perform continuous Kamui Combo
because the more Kamui combo hits, the more damage he will earn

There is a double Taiko Drum at the end of Rokuhara Palace (just before you
get the Essence of Amahagane from the altar on the top). Use Benkei to
(sound) play with the Taiko Drum and a treasure box contains
Gem of Medicine will appear at the center.
2. Chapter 3:
Normal and Continue Mode:
*S2:
On the second session of the Rokuhara Palace (the first sturdy door has
been broken), upstairs, get out of the room and to the viewing side,
To the right of the Jar you broke just now, there are bamboo screens.
Break it and move on the downstairs.
Fight the green sumo
(the one you fought inside the Underground Prison, Gojo,
just before you enter the room to fight Devilish Hoe Goblin, Chapter 3).
Perform a successful Kamui on 4 of them (they will jump high disappear
from the screen and will bump on you).
This is the easiest place to get the secret item (Medicine of Power)
and high level up experience bonus, S2
Use a weapon with a decent or strong power attack to successfully
finish them in one Kamui attack since they have a high defense level.
For the result you will get a 349 Kamui Combo Rating plus +/- 1249 amount
of exp and a chance to get a secret item; Medicine of Power
The total attack power will increase according to your weapon's attack.
(If you use Lightning Sword: Attack: 75 points,
then the total of your attack will be your current attack + 75 points.
The stronger your weapon the more additional attack power will you get.
However, the downside is your defense will be cut by a half (only).
(If you equip Eight Dragons for your shield then your defense will only
add 31 points instead of 61 points :).
It is the most powerful item and with this item, that also means your
quantity of items on the menu screen has been completed 100%
for Normal Mode
You can keep coming back to this screen to level up (L3)and collect the
secret item as many times as you like. It is a quick turn over since the
change/next screen is only one step to the upstairs.
-Actually, you can get this item since the first time you meet with the
green sumo creature (Underground Prison, Rokuhara Palace), but anyway,
it is a rare item and when it comes to easiness and time efficiency,
why not just wait until chapter 3 so you can also get a lot of bonus
level up experience, not to mention that it drops more frequent
on chapter 3 :).
3. Chapter (1,2,)3:

Normal Mode, Continue Mode and Difficult Mode
-Clear The Way-
Mount Kurama, Revisit 1 with Yoshitsune:
One interesting thing is to use your Kamui on those Samurai Soldiers from
the screen before you located the jar.
Climb up the cliff next to the save point, to the left screen,
fight 4 samurai, to the next screen.
Leave the samurai on this scren and continue to move forward, use Kamui.
Move forward to the hill top and the Kamui session is always be with you,
deleting the chance to get spotted by another group of samurai soldiers
on the next screen.
(if you just stand still the Kamui session will be over)
On your way to the hill top (Kurama hideout) and you will not be bothered
by any of the samurai soldiers on your way.
(If you do this in Chapter 1, you can pick up the Bracelet of Man without
getting hassled)
Find your way back and down the hill, your Kamui session will be finished
once you reach the next screen loading.
-Actually, you can try to do this in other places too-
4. Chapter 3:

Secret Weapons from the Stubborn Blacksmith.
Once you have collected al the weapons on the Weapons List,
visit the Stubborn Blacksmith and he will reward you as promised:
The Gale and Boulder Piercer.
With it you are given the [] sign for timing in a counterattack,
including during the fight with bosses.
