Monster Rancher Battle Card Game - Strategy Guide (Page 03)

Below are the cheat codes, hints and help for Monster Rancher Battle Card Game - Strategy Guide (Page 03).

Launcher
Use: Turns top card of pile into Guts when battle begins!

Hypnosis
Use: Can't escape. 5 cards have to be dumped either from your or your 
enemy's
     pile.

Coinheads
Use: Will be heads every time.

Cointails
Use: Will be tails every time.

ItemEater
Use: Eats item of opponent and voids the effect.

Mirror
Use: Reflects the value of opponent's item.

Shoes/Boots

Fit-Shoes
Use: None.
Found: You start with these.

Skates
Use: Increases the speed you move. Makes it easier to avoid battles in
     dungeons.
Found: The first time you beat Holly, she will give you this.

Gumboots
Use: Pass the "zigzag" tiles to get treasures in the ruins.
Found: ??? (No one knows as of this update. Possibly has something to do 
with
            sandals.)

Airkicks
Use: Pass the "holes" tiles to get treasures in the ruins.
Found: Talk to your mother after rescuing Mickey from the ruins.

Dragosole
Use: Pass the "flames" tiles to get treasures in the ruins.
Found: Talk to the trainer of the Suezo in the arena after you get Melonzo.

Ironshoes
Use: Pass the "needles" tiles to get treasures in the ruins.
Found: Given after you fight one of the 3 brothers. Either the first or
       second one.

Sandals
Use: Seem to draw attention to you in the dungeons. Opponents challenge you
     more often.
Found: Given after rescuing Mocchi from Riost ruins.

Ringshoes
Use: Number of cards to gain or lose after battle are doubled.
Found: Given as prize for obtaining Master Rank.

Flyboots
Use: You won't lose bet cards or dungeon counters if you lose.

Event Items
Note: These items can't be traded or bet.

Shovel
Use: You can clear away dirt in certain rooms. Press the A button to use.
Found: Rescue Cox in the Frant ruins and go talk to Cox in his house, he 
will
       give you 30 shovels. After that, shovels will appear randomly in the
       ruins.

Milkstuff
Use: Give these to the Suezo in the arena to obtain Melonzo card. Give a lot
     of them to the Mocchi (Momo) in the house to the right of the fountain
     to get 3 mural pieces. Also when the Mocchi escapes and you must find 
it
     (in Riost Ruins) give it one and it will follow you around.

WondaCoin
Use: Drop in the fountain in the city and it will give you a random item. It
     can be used to summon the three brothers, when it tell you that there 
is
     someone watching you (or something similar to that), try to enter any
     ruin and one of the three brothers will fight you! This has to be done
     after you obtain silver rank.

Disc?
Found: Go to the 4th floor of the old ruin and then to the 5th floor of 
Rihet
       ruins. Fight Millie and win. Then take the shrine disc to town and 
the
       priest will give you this item.
Use: Place it on the altar of the Old Ruins and a new path will open.

Old-paint
Use: Give it to Knox after you rescued Cox in Frant ruins and you will be 
able
     to make a copy of one of your cards.

Coinsack
Use: Not sure it has any.
Found: Given to you by Tim/Grandfater when he is standing in front of the
       fountain.

Team Box
Found: The first one is given at the beginning of the game. The second one 
is
       given to you by your father after you rescued Mickey from Secai 
ruins.
       The third one is given to you when you beat one the 3 Brothers,
       (either the 1st or 2nd).

Feather
Found: Fight Holly and she will randomly give you this item if you win. Or
       get it from a wondacoin.
Use: Give it to Mac in the arena to get Phoenix cards, the 3 last cards of
     breeder and "all monster" cards.

Dungeon Items

Po's Nose
Use: Detects the number of unopened chests on current level.

Candarope
Use: Warps you out of a ruin. Can only use when alone.

Sis Lens
Use: Completes map of current level.

Fat Lens
Use: Makes Guardians on current level visible.

PureWater
Use: Gets rid of the Guardians on the screen.

DeepWater
Gets rid of all Guardians on the level.

RichBadge
Use: Gives you 1 extra dungeon counter.

LuxeBadge
Use: Gives you 2 extra dungeon counters.

Mirrorcle
Use: Turns into an item already in your inventory. Only items found in 
chests
     or with a wondacoin (including wondacoins) can be duplicated.

A final note: The Gumboots were obtained with a Gameshark. To date no one 
has
              found them in the game legitimately. Help with this would be
              greatly appreciated.
