Below are the cheat codes, hints and help for Yoshi's Island - Strategy Guide (Page 20).
4 Coins - Near the end of the first area, above the slope shortly before the
middle ring.
10 Coins - In the second area, there are two normal coins above the second and
third posts, and three coins above the fourth and fifth posts.
4 Coins - In the second area, there are six coins after the fourth post on the
ski lift. The two left and two right coins in the line are normal
coins.
2 Coins - At the bottom of the first slope in the third area.
75 Coins - In the third area, jump onto the platform above the first slope, and
stand near the tree. Shoot an egg straight up to hit a winged cloud,
which will drop the red switch. Press down on the red arrow on the
right, and hit the red block in the secret area for the coins.
2 Coins - At the bottom of the second slope in the third area.
4 Coins - In the third area, there are three coins above, and one coin below
the second ski lift.
11 Coins - In the third area, there are four coins above the third ski lift,
two coins above the fourth ski lift, three coins above the fifth ski
lift and two coins above the sixth ski lift.
5 Coins - In the third area, at the end of the sixth ski lift.
20 Coins - 20 red coins.

5-3: Danger - Icy Conditions Ahead

- 591 Coins -
8 Coins - There are four coins on either side of the tulip near the start of
the level.
6 Coins - In the first area, there are two sets of five coins above the water
that can be crossed with the bucket. The bottom three coins in each
set are normal coins.
4 Coins - There are two normal coins above the platforms on either side of
the second flower.
10 Coins - There are two Baron Von Zeppelin holding coins near the start of
the second area. Each Baron Von Zeppelin holds five coins.
10 Coins - Above the ice blocks near the end of the second area.
3 Coins - After collecting the third Super Star above the blue doors in the
second area, run right to find these coins in the gaps in the ice
blocks.
385 Coins - After collecting the third Super Star above the blue doors in the
second area, run right to and go up the pipe at the far right side
of the area. In the secret area, touch the metamorphosis bubble to
transform into a helicopter, and fly right to find the coins.
6 Coins - Above the first tree in the third area.
4 Coins - Above the second tree in the third area.
9 Coins - There are five coins above the start of the first ski lift in the
third area, and four coins above the end of the first ski lift.
5 Coins - Above the start of the second ski lift in the third area.
11 Coins - In the third area, there are four coins above the third ski lift,
three coins above the fourth ski lift and four coins above the
fifth ski lift.
3 Coins - In the third area, above the second gap in the ice blocks after the
blue thorns.
4 Coins - In the third area, above the gap before the third flower.
4 Coins - On the first slope in the fourth area.
6 Coins - Above the first rock in the fourth area.

level is defeated.
4 Coins - At the left side of the first Dangling Ghost in the first area.

4 Coins - In the first area, run up the steps after the first Dangling Ghost
to the path at the top. Hover left at the top of the steps to find
the coins.
2 Coins - In the first area, run up the steps after the first Dangling Ghost
to the path at the top. Hover left at the top of the steps to find
three coins above the path at the right side of the first yellow
block. The left and right coins in the line are normal coins.
13 Coins - At the right side of the third Dangling Ghost in the first area.
3 Coins - In the first area, behind a cracked block above the yellow platform,
shortly after the third Dangling Ghost.
15 Coins - In the first area, ride the blue spiral platform left along the wire
to collect the coins.
6 Coins - At the right side of the blue spiral platform in the first area.
5 Coins - Below the thorns near the second flower.
6 Coins - At the left side of the egg plant shortly after the blue spiral
platform in the first area.
8 Coins - Near the fourth Dangling Ghost in the first area.
13 Coins - At the start of the second area, run left and drop down through the
paddles to find four coins. There are nine coins below the cracked
block.
64 Coins - At the start of the second area, run left and drop down through the
paddles. Jump on the nearby Muddy Buddy, and run over the spikes on
the right. Shoot the block twice, and fall through the gap. Continue
through the tunnel to find the coins.
53 Coins - At the start of the second area, run right and drop down through the
paddles to find six coins. There are twenty-four coins under the two
yellow fluff sections, and twenty-three coins can be found by riding
the red and yellow platform.
6 Coins - There are seven coins near the fifth Dangling Ghost in the first
area. The three left and three right coins in the line are normal
coins.
16 Coins - In the first area, run left up the long steps leading to the sixth
Dangling Ghost, and drop off the left side of the platform with the
red arrow. Hover right to collect the coins.
13 Coins - Near the seventh Dangling Ghost in the first area.
18 Coins - Under the eighth Dangling Ghost in the first area.
6 Coins - In the third area, there are two coins at the left side of the
see-saw, and four coins at the right side of the see-saw.
9 Coins - Go through the tunnel below the right side of the see-saw platform
in the third area, and run right to find the coins at the right side
of the third flower.
9 Coins - When the Support Ghost stops for the first time in the fourth area,
jump to collect the coins.
1 Coin - When the Support Ghost stops for the second time in the fourth area,
there will be a coin at the right side of the winged cloud.
10 Coins - In the fourth area, there are ten coins leading up to the fourth
flower.
3 Coins - When the Support Ghost stops for the fourth time in the fourth area,
jump to collect the coins.
4 Coins - Under the blue thorns where the Support Ghost stops for the fifth
time in the fourth area.
17 Coins - When the Support Ghost stops for the sixth time in the fourth area,
there is one coin on the left, and sixteen coins on the right.
4 Coins - Near the blue thorns on the left when the Support Ghost stops for
the seventh time in the fourth area.
13 Coins - When the Support Ghost stops for the ninth time in the fourth area,
jump right to find the coins.
3 Coins - When the Support Ghost stops for the twelvth time in the fourth
area, there will be four coins on the left. The three right coins in
the line are normal coins.
4 Coins - After the Support Ghost has begun moving after stopping for the
fourteenth time in the fourth area, jump over the block on the right
to collect the coins.
2 Coins - After the Support Ghost has begun moving after stopping for the
fifteenth time in the fourth area, jump over the blue thorns to
collect the coins.
16 Coins - At the right side of the Mace Guy when the Support Ghost stops for
the seventeenth time.
8 Coins - Near the end of the fourth area, there are a circle of coins near
the Mace Guy when the Support Ghost stops for the eighteenth time.
20 Coins - 20 red coins.

5 Coins - Above the path near the start of the level.
28 Coins - From the start of the level, there are six coins above the first
gap, two coins above the second gap, six coins above the third gap,
four coins above the fourth gap, five coins above the sixth gap and
five coins above the seventh gap.
3 Coins - On a high curved path, shortly before the first Pirahna Plant in the
first area. Ride a Goonie to get up to the path.
1 Coin - In the first area, under the first Pirahna Plant.
12 Coins - Shortly before the second metamorphosis bubble in the second area.
9 Coins - In the second area, follow the coin trail after the second
metamorphosis bubble to find these coins.
18 Coins - Shortly before the fourth metamorphosis bubble in the second area.
24 Coins - After hitting the red switch in the third area, these coins appear
on the red blocks above.
2 Coins - Above a slope at the right side of the first vertically moving
platform in the third area.

arrive in a secret area with the coins.
5 Coins - Above the clouds after the first green switch platform in the
second area.
7 Coins - Near the two red switch platforms in the second area.
2 Coins - There are three coins above the spikes in the second area. The left
and right coins in the line are normal coins.
4 Coins - Below the pipe after the two Pirahna Plants in the second area.
4 Coins - In the second area, under the pipe shortly before the fifth flower.
5 Coins - Under the final pipe in the second area.

4 Coins - In the middle of the top-left circular track after the fifth

10 Coins - Ride the platform down past the first set of Tap-Taps in the first
area to find the coins.
9 Coins - Above the track that the green rotating platform rides on in the
first area.
11 Coins - In the first area, ride the green rotating platform right, and jump
over to the yellow platform on the track. When the platform starts
to go down the track, jump right to land on a red and yellow
platform, which will move up the track to the coins.
7 Coins - After passing the second set of Ravens in the first area, these
coins will be at the end of the platform track. There are also three
coins above the next platform track on the right.
3 Coins - Near the end of the first area, above the falling blocks shortly
before the second set of Tap-Taps.
11 Coins - Ride the final red and yellow platform in the first area to collect
the coins.
3 Coins - At the right side of the falling block near the end of the first
area.
4 Coins - In the third area, below the fourth flower.
4 Coins - There are two sets of coins shortly after the paddles in the third
area. The left and right coins in each set are normal coins.

13 Coins - At the start of the fourth area, don't jump onto the horizontally
rotating platform. Instead, hover jump right from below the
platform, and go through the blue doors in the secret tunnel. Ride
the train to find the coins.
10 Coins - After passing the middle ring in the fourth area, use the large
spring ball to bounce up to the horizontally rotating platform
above. Each of the five rotating platforms have two coins above it.

you high into the air. Hover right to enter a secret area. The coins

45 Coins - After collecting the 70 coins, go through the left blue doors to
arrive in a room with the coins above the rotating platform.
51 Coins - After collecting the 45 coins, go through the right blue doors to
arrive in a room with the coins at the top. Use the balloons to
float up to the coins.
51 Coins - After collecting the 51 coins, go through the right blue doors, and
then go through the left blue doors to arrive in a room with three
crates. The coins are at the top of the room.
4 Coins - In the second area, there are six coins on the platform shortly
before the third flower. The first, second, fourth and fifth coins
in the line are normal coins.
1 Coin - In the second area, there are two coins above the platform under
the fourth flower. The left coin is the normal coin.
4 Coins - In the second area, under the fifth flower.
2 Coins - In the second area, above the small spring ball after the fifth
flower.

3 Coins - Push Chomp Rock right down the slope near the start of the level,
and it will drop into a gap. Jump up from Chomp Rock to land on a
platform near five coins. The three left coins in the line are
normal coins.
8 Coins - In the first area, in the tunnel below the key.
1 Coin - Defeat the two Zeus Guys at the top-left corner of the third area by
shooting fire at them, and then stomp through the nearby fluff to
land in a room with five coins. The left coin in the line is the
normal coin.
3 Coins - Go through the blue doors at the top-right corner of the third area,
and use the two large spring balls to bounce up to the five coins at
the top-right corner of the area. The three right coins in the line
are normal coins.
20 Coins - 20 red coins.
