2 Coins - Above the second gap in the second area.
2 Coins - Above the third gap in the second area.
4 Coins - Above the fourth gap in the second area.
2 Coins - Above the fluff at the right side of the first blue door in the
second area.
3 Coins - In the second area, go through the first blue door. On the other
side, go right to find the three normal coins above the water.
1 Coin - Above the third Ball and Chain in the second area.
4 Coins - In the second area, go through the second blue door. On the other
side, go left to find these four coins above the water.
4 Coins - Run past the second blue door in the second area and jump on the
tiny pink rotating platform on the other side. Ride the platform
right to find the coins.
4 Coins - In the third area, these coins can be found after the first Claw
Daddy. Collect the bottom row of coins.
20 Coins - 20 red coins.

set is at the top. Collect the left and right coins in both sets.
3 Coins - Near the start of the second area, the bottom three coins between
the two pink rotating platforms.
3 Coins - Above the horizontally moving platform near the start of the second
area.
4 Coins - By the middle ring in the second area.
3 Coins - In the second area, there are three coins before the first rotating
platform after the middle ring.
4 Coins - In the second area, there are four normal coins between the first
two pink rotating platforms after the middle ring.
4 Coins - In the second area, there are four coins after the second rotating

3 Coins - Near the end of the second area, shortly after the third flower.
68 Coins - At the start of the third area, walk right and drop off the edge of
both blocks. Hover left off the second block, and walk left through
the tunnel to enter a secret area. Shoot an egg up and right in the
direction of the red arrow to reveal a winged cloud. Shoot the
winged cloud and jump on the red switch. Jump up the red block
platforms to the green platform, and ride the green platform to find
the coins.
25 Coins - In the secret area listed above, there are five Baron Von Zeppelins
that each hold five coins.
7 Coins - Near the start of the third area, shortly before the first Wild
Ptooie Pirahna.
4 Coins - In the third area, above the second Wild Ptooie Pirahna.
2 Coins - In the third area, above the trees below the second Wild Ptooie
Pirahna.
3 Coins - At the left side of the red switch on the tree in the third area.
12 Coins - Press the red switch on the tree in the third area to reveal twelve
coins above the trees over on the left.
12 Coins - Near the end of the third area, there are twelve coins leading up
the small blocks to the fifth flower.
20 Coins - 20 red coins.

3-6: The Cave Of Harry Hedgehog

- 620 Coins -
3 Coins - Near the start of the cave section, there is a winged cloud above
three mushrooms. Shoot the winged cloud and climb the steps to
collect the coins.
8 Coins - On the way to the third flower, there are eight coins on the ledges
under the metamorphosis bubble.
3 Coins - These three coins coins can be found near the end of the fluff
maze.
5 Coins - Above the fourth flower.
3 Coins - There are six coins at the right side of the fourth flower. The
three normal coins are at the right side of the line.
12 Coins - After collecting the fourth flower, hover right to land on the
lowest of the two mushrooms. Jump up to the high mushroom and then
jump right to follow the trail of coins.
563 Coins - After jumping up the five yellow platforms about half-way through
the cave section, jump over the pipe on the right and run down the
slope to drop down to a path. Run right all the way along to the
end of the path and go down the Lantern Ghost pipe. In the secret
area, shoot the winged cloud. Jump on the red switch and follow the
red block platforms up and along to the flower.
3 Coins - Outside the cave, these final three coins are above the block near
the goal ring.
20 Coins - 20 red coins.

3-7: Monkeys' Favorite Lake

- 108 Coins -
2 Coins - In the first area, in the water at the right side of the first
rotating platform.
2 Coins - In the water below the first flower.
6 Coins - In the trees at the right side of the first flower.
1 Coin - Near the end of the first area, this coin is above the the gap
shortly before the pipe.
3 Coins - Near the end of the first area, drop down into the gap between the
blocks shortly before the pipe to reveal a winged cloud. Shoot the
winged cloud and jump on the red switch. Run left and press down on
the red arrow to arrive in a room with a metamorphosis bubble. Touch
the bubble to transform into a submarine and then swim through the
water to find the coins.
5 Coins - Above the first Shy Guy in the second area.
5 Coins - Above the first Clawdaddy in the second area, below the second
flower.
7 Coins - Above the second Clawdaddy in the second area.
9 Coins - Below the two Seedy Sallys shortly before the first Dizzy Dandy in
the second area.
12 Coins - In the second area, these coins can be found above the second Dizzy
Dandy.
6 Coins - In the second area, above the high tree after the second Dizzy
Dandy.
3 Coins - In the second area, use the large spring shortly before the middle
ring to bounce up to the platform on the right. Stomp the post four
times and run left to collect the coins.
3 Coins - Run down the slope at the start of the third area and jump onto the
orange floating platform to collect the three coins.
2 Coins - In the third area, jump onto the final pink floating platform in the
section of the water where the second Lunge Fish swims. Jump off to
the right and stomp into the water near the block. Hold right and
swim under the block to the other side. Continue right to find the
coins.
5 Coins - In the third area, in the water with the fifth Lunge Fish.
9 Coins - In the third area, in the water between the fifth and the sixth
Lunge Fish.
8 Coins - In the third area, in the water with the sixth Lunge Fish.
20 Coins - 20 red coins.

2 Coins - At the top-right corner of the first castle section, near the two
Hootie the Blue Fish.

7 Coins - Shortly after the second message block in the second castle section,
bounce an egg off the right wall to collect the coins in the water
below.
3 Coins - After passing the middle ring in the third castle section, jump up
the platforms on the right and enter the top-right tunnel. Follow
the tunnel to the end to find the three coins in a room with a Wild
Ptooie Pirahna.
3 Coins - Near the end of the third castle section, above the Wild Ptooie
Pirahna before the red tulip.

4 Coins - Walk right from the start of the level to see an arch of coins. The
top four coins in this arch are normal coins.
2 Coins - Above the second post in the level.
4 Coins - At the end of the grass path after the second post.
2 Coins - Above the first horizontally moving platform.
2 Coins - At the right side of the first rotating platform in the level, there
are four coins leading up and right in a diagonal line. The second
and fourth coins in this line are red coins.
2 Coins - There are three coins on the right side of the wall above the second
rotating platform. The middle and right coins, nearest the first
flower, are normal coins.
27 Coins - There are five vertical lines of coins shortly after the second
flower.
7 Coins - Jump onto the rotating platform after the third flower, and ride it
around to collect the coins.
3 Coins - Under the first horizontally moving platform after the fourth
flower. To collect the coins, stand on the vertically moving
platform further on the right and shoot an egg left.
5 Coins - The middle five coins in the line above the right side of the final
horizontally moving platform with the egg plant on it.

8 Coins - In the first area, there are ten coins going up the series of
four slopes before the Shy Guy pipe. The eight coins in the middle
of the line are the normal coins.
5 Coins - Above the first Wild Ptooie Pirahna in the level.
79 Coins - In the first area, go down the pipe just before the Wild Ptooie
Pirahna to arrive in a cave. There are ten normal coins at the
bottom level the cave, and sixty-nine normal coins at the top level
of the cave.
6 Coins - In the Bullet Bill section of the first area, jump over the bottom-
right Bullet Bill, and drop down to the path on the right. Run left
along the path to find the red coins.
5 Coins - Near the end of the first area, there are three Bullet Bills. These
five normal coins are before the first Bullet Bill.
16 Coins - Near the end of the first area, there are three Bullet Bills. There
are eight normal above each gap between the Bullet Bills.
2 Coins - Above the first log platform in the second area.
3 Coins - Above the second log platform in the second area.
7 Coins - Above the two Red Koopa Paratroopa near the start of the Fuzzy
section in the second area.
14 Coins - There are two coins above each of the seven platforms near the end
of the Fuzzy section in the second area.
3 Coins - After collecting the first Super Star in the third area, run up the
wall on the left to find these coins.
6 Coins - Above the third Super Star in the third area.
7 Coins - On the two platforms after the third Super Star in the third area.
6 Coins - On the slope shortly before the fifth Super Star in the third area.
64 Coins - After collecting the fifth Super Star in the third area, parachute
right to find the trail of coins.

4-2: The Cave Of The Lakitus

4 Coins - Two normal coins are above each of the first two gaps in the first
cave section.
5 Coins - Above the red steps that lead down after the first two gaps in the
first cave section.
15 Coins - There are two spring balls shortly after the POW block in the first
cave section. Bounce from the large spring ball and follow the coin
trail above the two Pirahna Plants up on the right.
4 Coins - There are two spring balls shortly after the POW block in the first
cave section. Use the large spring ball to bounce up to the high
path on the left. Run along the path under the Wall Lakitus to find
a line of six coins. The four middle coins in the line are normal
coins.
87 Coins - In the first cave section, shoot the red switch out of the fluff
after the two Pirahna Plants, and stomp it to reveal a red arrow.
Press down on the red arrow to enter a secret area. Follow the coin
trail down to collect the coins.
9 Coins - Shortly after the second flower in the first cave section, these
coins can be found next to the three Pirahna Plants.
1 Coin - Near the start of the second area, above the pipe under the small
set of red steps.
6 Coins - After the middle ring in the second area, run right to enter a huge
room. Follow the red arrows in this room to collect the red coins.
20 Coins - 20 red coins.

4-3: Don't Look Back!

24 Coins - Run right at the start of the level to find these coins above the
number platforms.
4 Coins - At the top-left corner of the balloon section near the start of the
level.
3 Coins - In the first area, above the long log platform just before the
first see-saw platform.
10 Coins - In the first area, above the three see-saw platforms.
79 Coins - After passing the three see-saw platforms, go up the pipe to arrive
in a secret area. Shoot the winged cloud over on the left, and
touch the metamorphosis bubble to transform into a helicopter. Fly
around the area to find the coins.
2 Coins - At the start of the Bullet Bill section in the first area, jump up
the platforms on the left to find three coins. The two right coins
in the line are normal coins.
3 Coins - Above the Wild Ptooie Pirahna shortly after the Bullet Bill section
in the first area.
18 Coins - Above the platforms shortly before the red switch in the first
area.
2 Coins - In the first area, above the third red block platform after the red
switch.
4 Coins - Above the first vertically moving platform before the final Wild
Ptooie Pirahna in the first area.
2 Coin - There is one coin on either side of the fourth flower.
89 Coins - Shoot an egg up at the yellow fluff at the start of the second
area, and use the large spring ball to bounce up to the area above.
Jump on the pump five times, and the ride the huge balloon right to
find the red coins.
212 Coins - Run right at the start of the second area, and defeat all three Boo
Balloons to reveal a red switch. Jump on the red switch to reveal
the coins.
10 Coins - Run right at the start of the second area, and shoot the two Baron
Von Zeppelins after the Boo Balloons.
20 Coins - 20 red coins.

4-4: Marching Milde's Fort

- 104 Coins -
6 Coins - Near the start of the Shark Chomp section in the first area,
there are three normal coins above each of the gaps in the yellow
fluff.
6 Coins - Near the end of the Shark Chomp section in the first area, there
are six normal coins above the grey fluff.
6 Coins - Go through the top-left door in the first castle section. Ride the
arrow platform up and shoot the Pirahna Plant on the left to find
six coins on the other side. The four middle coins in the line are
normal coins.
8 Coins - Go through the top-left door in the first castle section. These
coins can be found in the fluff next to the Blow Hards.
3 Coins - Go through the top-left door in the first castle section. In this
area, ride the arrow platform up past the Blow Hards, and jump up to
the blocks on the right to find four coins above. The left three
coins in the line are normal coins.
6 Coins - Go through the top-left door in the first castle section. These
coins are in the fluff near the end of the area.
1 Coin - Go through the bottom-left door in the first castle section. This
coin is next to a red coin on the other side of the first section of
lava. Use the bucket to cross the lava.
5 Coins - Go through the bottom-left door in the first castle section. The
coins are found above the second section of lava. Use the green
rotating platform to cross the lava.
13 Coins - Go through the bottom-left door in the first castle section. These
coins are found above the final section of lava in the area.
2 Coins - Go through the top-right door in the first castle section. In this
area, there are two normal coins at the right side of the green
blocks near the Bandit.
8 Coins - Go through the top-right door in the first castle section. These
coins can be found below the winged cloud at the top-right corner of
this area.
2 Coins - Go through the top-right door in the first castle section. Shoot an
egg through the blocks at the end of the area, and jump up to the
platform on the left to find three coins. The left two coins in the
line are normal coins.
14 Coins - Go through the bottom-right door in the first castle section. Drop
down to the platform above the blue thorns at the bottom-left corner
of the area, and shoot an egg right to collect the coins.
2 Coins - Go through the bottom-right door in the first castle section. Use
the right arrow platform to ride up to the top of the tunnel, and
jump through the gap on the right to land near four coins. The two
left coins in the line are normal coins.
2 Coins - There are three coins above the loose platform after the third
keyhole door. The left and right coins in the line are normal coins.
20 Coins - 20 red coins.

11 Coins - After pushing the Chomp Rock down to the bottom of the first slope,
continue past the Chomp Rock and go down the gap at the left side of
the red arrow. Run left to find the coins.
8 Coins - After pushing the Chomp Rock down to the bottom of the second slope,
stomp the post and run right to find this red coin in the first set
of three coins.
5 Coins - After pushing the Chomp Rock down to the bottom of the second slope,
stomp the post and run right to find these coins.
4 Coins - There are two coins on either side of the second flower.
3 Coins - At the left side of the third flower.
38 Coins - Above the red switch bridge near the end of the first area.
21 Coins - Above the path before the slope at the start of the second area.
4 Coins - In the second area, there are six coins in a line at the top of the
slope after the Shy Guy pipe. The two left and two right coins in
the line are normal coins.
9 Coins - In the second area, push Chomp Rock right all the way to the wall
near the outline steps. Jump on Chomp Rock, and jump up through the
gap on the right. Walk onto the large jelly block on the right, and
stomp it until it spreads out along the spikes. There are three
normal coins on the left side of the block, and six coins on the
right side of the block.
20 Coins - 20 red coins.

4-6: Lake Shore Paradise

2 Coins - Go down the steps to the water at the start of the level, and swim
under the steps on the left. Jump up to the path on the right to
land under three coins. The two left coins in the line are normal
coins.
6 Coins - Above the path shortly before the first Shy Guy pipe in the level.
4 Coins - Near the start of the level, there are two coins above each of the
outline bridges after the Shy Guy pipe.
6 Coins - Shortly after the first flower, there are three sets of two coins
between the platforms above the water.
19 Coins - Above the small spring balls near the end of the first area.
4 Coins - Below the fourth small spring ball near the end of the first area.
3 Coins - Near the end of the first area, drop down to the platform at the
right side of the fourth small spring ball. Run right to find the
coins.
3 Coins - At the left side of the hut near the end of the first area.
2 Coins - There are three coins near the start of the second area. The left
and right coins in the line are normal coin.
6 Coins - Above the first Needlenose Plant in the second area.
8 Coins - Above the second Needlenose Plant in the second area.
3 Coins - Near the Clawdaddy at the start of the third area.
3 Coins - At the right side of the fourth flower.
5 Coins - Near the third Clawdaddy at the bottom-right corner of the third
area.
7 Coins - Above the vertically moving platform near the start of the fourth
area. To get to the fourth area, stomp into the water at the bottom-
right corner of the third area, and swim under the wall to the
fourth area. Yoshi can move the vertically moving platforms about by
eating them and spitting them out at different places.
4 Coins - Above the spikes near the start of the fourth area.
15 Coins - At the top-left corner of the fourth area.
7 Coins - Above the spikes near the top-left corner of the fourth area.
15 Coins - At the top-right corner of the fourth area.
9 Coins - At the top of the fourth area.
24 Coins - Near the egg plant at the bottom-right corner of the fourth area.
2 Coins - In the water below the entrance to the fifth area.
8 Coins - Below the Fly Guy that appears near the start of the fourth area,

the tunnel above the right side of the Pirahna Plant. Follow the
tunnel along to find the coins.
4 Coins - Use the large spring ball near the start of the level to jump into
the tunnel above the right side of the Pirahna Plant. Ride the
platform at the left side of the path to collect the coins.
4 Coins - Jump off the moving platform at the start of the level to collect
the coins.
3 Coins - Above the left platform at the beginning of the Gusty section.
180 Coins - At the start of the Gusty section, shoot an egg straight up from
the platform near the wall to reveal a large spring ball. Bounce up
both large spring balls above to enter a secret area. Jump on the
pump five times, and then jump on the balloon to move right. Stay
on the balloon to collect the coins.
29 Coins - After exiting the secret area listed above, hover right to touch a
helicopter metamorphosis bubble. Fly right to find the coins.
5 Coins - Ride the first red and yellow platform in the second area, and jump
off near the end of the wire onto the horizontally moving yellow
platform. The coins are above the platform.
3 Coins - At the left side of the third red and yellow platform near the end
of the second area.
3 Coins - At the left side of the final red and yellow platform near the end
of the second area.
20 Coins - 20 red coins.

2 Coins - Below the spiked ball and chain near the top-left corner of the

4 Coins - In a diagonal line at the top-left corner of the second area.
3 Coins - Near the crate at the top-right corner of the second area.

Extra 4: The Impossible? Maze

2 Coins - From the start of the level:
~ Go through the first tunnel on the right.
~ Take the right junction at the waterfall.
~ Go through the second tunnel on the right.
~ Jump on the platforms above the water on the left, and use the
large spring ball to bounce up to the coins.
6 Coins - After collecting the fourth flower:
~ Go through the nearby tunnel.
~ Touch the metamorphosis bubble on the left.
~ As a mole tank, dig up the tunnel on the right. On the way up the
main tunnel, there is one tunnel on the left and one tunnel on the
right. Each tunnel has three normal coins in it.
3 Coins - At the left side of the fifth flower.
20 Coins - 20 red coins.

5-1: BLIZZARD!!!

- 275 Coins -
5 Coins - Shoot the Baron Von Zeppelin shortly after the first flower.
18 Coins - There are two Baron Von Zeppelins holding five coins after the
first Fly Guy in the level. There are also eight normal coins next
to the Baron Von Zeppelins.
4 Coins - After the first Mace Guy in the first area.
4 Coins - There are two normal coins on each platform below the first Wild
Ptooie Pirahna in the first area.
7 Coins - Above the first Chomp Rock in the first area.
2 Coins - In the first area, above the third gap in the Chomp Rock section.
154 Coins - Near the end of the first area, don't run right to the blue doors.
Instead, jump over to the path on the left, and jump to the
platform with the hut. Jump up the cloud platforms on the left, and
go up the pipe to enter a secret area. Shoot the winged cloud, and
touch the metamorphosis bubble to transform into a helicopter. Fly
up to find the coins.
5 Coins - Above the second section of ice in the second area.
3 Coins - High above the start of the third section of ice in the second
area. Jump from the top of the steps on the right to find the
coins.
2 Coins - Above the gap before the steps after the third section of ice in
the second area.
2 Coins - There are three coins at the right side of the middle ring in the
second area. The left and right coins in the line are normal coins.
4 Coins - There are five coins below the spikes in the second area. The two
left and two right coins in the line are normal coins.
6 Coins - Above the third section of ice after the middle ring in the second
area.
10 Coins - Near the end of the second area, above the final ice section.
3 Coins - At the start of the third area, jump up to the path on the left to
find these coins.
12 Coins - In a line near the first Cactus Jack in the third area.
2 Coins - Above the first Wild Ptooie Pirahna in the third area.
1 Coin - In the third area, wait for the Thunder Lakitu to appear near the
fifth flower. Jump on Thunder Lakitu when he appears, and ride his
cloud up to the platform. Jump on the platform, and go up the pipe
to arrive in a secret area with the normal coin at the left side of
the cloud.
11 Coins - Near the end of the third area, there are three coins in the first
gap, two coins in the second and third gaps, and four coins in the
fourth gap.
