Below are the cheat codes, hints and help for Yoshi's Island - Strategy Guide (Page 09).
2 Red Coins - In the second area, these two red coins can be found above the
second Dizzy Dandy.
2 Red Coins - In the second area, use the large spring shorty before the middle
ring to bounce up to the platform on the right. Stomp the post
four times and run left to collect the coins.
2 Red Coins - Run down the slope at the start of the third area and jump onto
the orange floating platform to collect the two coins.
1 Red Coin - Shortly before the fifth flower.
1 Red Coin - In the third area, near the fifth Lunge Fish.
1 Red Coin - In the third area, near the sixth Lunge Fish.
5 Stars - In the first area, shoot the winged cloud above the start of the
second lake.
3 Stars - In the second area, shoot the winged cloud above the first lake.
5 Stars - In the second area, shoot the winged cloud shortly after the
second flower.
5 Stars - In the second area, shoot the winged cloud shortly before the
first Dizzy Dandy, and climb to the top of the beanstalk to
arrive in a secret area. Shoot the left winged cloud at the
right side of this area for the stars.
5 Stars - In the second area, shoot the winged cloud near the large spring
ball shortly before the middle ring.
10 Stars - Pass through the middle ring at the end of the second area.
5 Stars - In the third area, shoot the winged cloud above the fifth Lunge
Fish.
Key - Shoot the winged cloud shortly after the fifth flower.

- Flower 1 -
Run right along the blocks at the start of the level and go down the pipe.
After arriving in the first area of the castle, run right to find a Caged Ghost
which shoots out Shy Guys. Eat the Shy Guys until Yoshi has six eggs, and then
shoot the Caged Ghost, following it as it backs down the tunnel. After the
ghost has been reduced to a small blob, jump over it and pass through the
paddles on the right.
On the other side of the paddles, wait for the Hootie the Blue Fish to go down
through the log platform nearby. When the fish has passed by, run right and
jump over the gap to the top white platform. Continue right to arrive in a room
with two Hootie the Blue Fish. Eat the two Ravens that scurry toward you, and
then run right under the block that the fish are orbiting. Jump up the two
white platforms at the right side of the block, and collect the red coin, which
is the middle coin of the three.
Drop off the left side of the block, and run left to the edge of the white
platform. Drop down to the white platform below, and then run to the edge of
the next white platform to see a waterfall over on the right. Drop down to the
white platform below, and then go left at the junction to drop down to another
white platform. Drop down off the various white platforms below, and go left to
arrive in a room with four coins in it. Collect the two left red coins in this
room, and then exit the room.
Jump up the five white platforms above to return to the waterfall. This time,
go right at the waterfall to slide down a steep slope. At the bottom of the
slope, ignore the first Pirahna Plant on the ceiling, jump over the second
Pirahna Plant, and then just run under the third Pirahna Plant. After passing
the three Pirahna Plants, continue right to exit the first area.
After arriving in the second area of the castle, hit the egg block to refill
the egg supply, and then walk to the edge of the block on the right. Shoot an
egg down toward the red arrow on the wall so that it bounces off toward the
four red coins under the pipe. Jump over to the single pipe on the right, and
then jump over the next gap to the two pipes. Jump up to the block on the right
and pass under the message block to find a gap.
Shoot an egg at the thin wall on the right to collect the three red coins under
the left pipe. Jump over the gap and face left. Shoot an egg at the wall so
that the egg bounces under the right pipe to collect two red coins and reveal
the flower. Drop down into the water and swim right to collect the first
flower.
- Flower 2 -
Swim back to the left and jump out of the gap to land on the right path. Run
right and hit the egg block after the step to refill the egg supply. Jump up
the big step on the right, and continue right to the edge of the path. Shoot an
egg at the wall on the right so that the egg hits the left Pirahna Plant. Jump
over the gap and face left.
Shoot another egg at the wall on the left so that the egg hits the right
Pirahna Plant. Drop into the water and swim right to collect three red coins,
then swim right to collect the second flower. Swim right and jump out of the
gap to land on the right path, and then go through the pipe on the right to
exit the second castle area.
- Flower 3 -
After arriving in the third castle area, run right along the first tunnel and
drop down into the sloped water tunnel at the end. At the bottom of the water
tunnel, immediately run right to avoid the Hootie the Blue Fish that is lurking
on the left. Continue to run right to drop down into a wider tunnel. Jump up
the two white platforms on the right, and then jump right into the gap to
collect the third flower.
- Flower 4 -
Walk left to exit the gap, and run right after landing on the floor below. Jump
over the neabry Hootie the Blue Fish, and continue right to the end of the
tunnel. A Wild Ptooie Pirahna will be over on the right, so don't exit the
tunnel just yet. Instead, wait for the second plant to shoot a Needlenose
toward you, and then eat the Needlenose to get an egg.
When Yoshi has six eggs, shoot three eggs to defeat the first Wild Ptooie
Pirahna. Eat three more Needlenoses, and then defeat the second Wild Ptooie
Pirahna in the same way. After the second Wild Ptooie Pirahna has been
defeated, jump over to the platform on the right and pass through the middle
ring.
After passing through the middle ring, walk off the right side of the white
platform and drop into the water below. Swim left in the water to the other
side, and jump up to the white platform to land at the start of a secret path.
Run down the slope on the left, and stop at the bottom. Eat the Nipper Plant
and the Aqua Lakitu on the left, and then run under the first Pirahna Plant.
Eat the next Nipper Plant and the second Aqua Lakitu when he appears from the
water, and continue left under the second Pirahna Plant. Go down the slope in
the tunnel to find a Hootie the Blue Fish orbiting a block. Wait for the fish
to move to the left side of the block, and then run left to find a Caged Ghost.
Shoot six eggs at the Caged Ghost, and jump over the small blob that remains.
On the other side, face right toward the Caged Ghost. Eat six Shy Guys that the
ghost spits out, and then continue left along the tunnel.
In the room with the three Hootie the Blue Fish, jump up to the first platform
when the first fish is at the left side of the block. Jump up to the platform
above when the second fish is above the block. Jump up to the block on the left
when the third fish is below the block. From the block, jump up to the start of
the path on the right, and shoot an egg at the Pirahna Plant. Shoot the winged
up on the right to receive five stars, and then jump up to the white platform
on the left to collect the three red coins.
Watch the Hootie the Blue Fish below. When the fish moves to the bottom of the
block, drop down to the platform at the right side of the block. Jump onto the
long block, and run off the right edge to drop down to the tunnel below. Run
right along the tunnel, and stop just before the Caged Ghost, which will start
spitting out Shy Guys. Eat the Shy Guys until Yoshi has six eggs, and then
shoot the Caged Ghost six times. Jump over the blob, and face left.
When the Caged Ghost appears, eat six more Shy Guys, and then run right along
the tunnel. Go up the tunnel and run under the two Pirahna Plants, and then go
up the next tunnel and drop into the water. Swim right under the two large
blocks, and jump up to the white platform at the right side of the second
block. Jump over to the white platform near the tunnel entrance on the right,
and then jump up two white platforms. Shoot an egg at the Pirahna Plant above,
and then jump into the tunnel on the right.
Wait at the start of the tunnel for the three Paranipper Plants to drop down
and transform into Nipper Plants. Eat the three Nipper Plants, and then enter
the tunnel. Jump up the three white platforms, and jump into the the next
tunnel leading right. Run along the tunnel, and stop after entering the small
room. Shoot three eggs at the Wild Ptooie Pirahna over on the right side of the
room, and then drop down into the room. In the room, eat the Nipper Plants, and
then run over to the far right side of the room to collect the fourth flower.
- Flower 5 -
Run left to exit the room after collecting the fourth flower, and run left
through the tunnel. Drop down at the end of the first tunnel, and then run left
off the white platform at the end of the second tunnel to drop down to a
slightly longer platform below. Run right from this white platform to land at
the start of another tunnel.
Run right through this tunnel and jump over the Hootie the Blue Fish near the
Caged Ghost. Eat the Shy Guys that the Caged Ghost spits out until Yoshi has
six eggs, and then return to the tunnel on the left. Face right, and wait for
the Hootie the Blue Fish to pass by. When it does, go back to the right and
shoot six eggs at the Caged Ghost to defeat it. Jump over the remaining blob,
and face left on the other side. Eat six more Shy Guys when the Caged Ghost
appears, and then run along the tunnel on the right.
When the tunnel dips drops down slightly, shoot an egg at the Pirahna Plant,
and then continue right to the end of the tunnel to arrive near a small room.
Eat the two Nipper Plants that bounce toward you from the white platform, and
shoot an egg down and right into the water to defeat the Pirahna Plant. Drop
into the water and swim right onto the block. Drop into the next small section
of water and jump up to the higher block on the right.
A Wild Ptooie Pirahna will be down on the right, but the Needlenoses it spits
can't hit you from the platform. Walk to the middle of the block, and shoot
three eggs down into the water on the right to defeat the Wild Ptooie Pirahna.
Drop down into the water on the right and jump over the block to the next
section of water. Jump up to the white platform, and jump up again to collect
two red coins and the fifth flower.
After collecting the fifth flower, run down the slope in the tunnel on the
right, and wait for the three Paranipper Plants to land. Eat the three Nipper
Plants, and then shoot an egg of the right wall so that it bounces off the
ceiling into the red tulip. Collect the eight stars from the tulip, and then
continue right along the tunnel to the red doors. Enter the red doors.
- Boss Fight 6: Naval Pirahna -
After sliding down the tunnels and landing in the water, swim right in the
water and jump up to the far left edge of the white platform. Before Kamek
appears, shoot the small Pirahna Plant to win the boss fight. To win the boss
fight fairly, read below:
When Naval Pirahna puts his head down, he will start to charge toward you. Jump
over him as he charges from right to left, and then face left. He will then
spit out three Paranipper Plants. Wait for the plants to land, and quickly eat
the three Nipper Plants to get three eggs.
Jump over Naval Pirahna as he charges from right to left, and then move over to
the left side of the platform. Shoot an egg so that it bounces off the wall
into the water, and hits the bump on the pirahna which has the 'X' on it.
Repeat this process of jumping over Naval Pirahna when he charges and then
hitting the bump with an egg. Hit the bump three times to defeat Naval Pirahna.

Flower 1 - Shortly after the second message block in the second castle
section, jump over the gap, face left and bounce an egg off the
left wall to hit the winged cloud, which will reveal the flower.
Flower 2 - At the end of the second castle section, stay at the left side of
the gap and bounce an egg off the wall on the right to hit the
Pirahna Plant. Shoot another egg to collect the flower.
Flower 3 - Near the start of the third castle section, run along the tunnel
and jump onto the white platform before the two Hootie the Blue
Fish. The flower can be found up on the right.
Flower 4 - After passing the middle ring in the third castle section, jump
up the platforms on the right and enter the top-right tunnel.
Follow the tunnel to the end to find the flower hidden behind a
Wild Ptooie Pirahna.
Flower 5 - Near the end of the third castle section. Shortly after the Wild
Ptooie Pirahna before the red tulip.
1 Red Coin - At the top-right corner of the first castle section, near the two
Hootie the Blue Fish.
2 Red Coins - At the bottom-left corner of the first castle section, above some
water with an Aqua Lakitu in it.
4 Red Coins - At the start of the second castle section, under the horizontal
green pipe.
3 Red Coins - Shortly after the second message block in the second castle
section, bounce an egg off the right wall to collect the red
coins in the water below.
2 Red Coins - Shortly after the second message block in the second castle
section, jump over the gap, face left and bounce an egg off the
left wall to collect the red coins in the water below.
3 Red Coins - At the end of the second castle section, jump over the gap and
face left. Bounce an egg off the wall on the left to hit the
Pirahna Plant, and shoot another egg to collect the coins.
2 Red Coins - There is one red coin at either side of the fifth flower.
3 Red Coins - After passing the middle ring in the third castle section, walk
right and drop into the water under the second Wild Ptooie
Pirahna. Swim left in the water and jump out at the far left side
to land on a platform. Continue left past the various enemies to
find the red coins.
10 Stars - Pass through the middle ring half-way through the third castle
section.
5 Stars - After passing the middle ring in the third castle section, walk
right and drop into the water under the second Wild Ptooie
Pirahna. Swim left in the water and jump out at the far left side
to land on a platform. Continue left past the various enemies to
and shoot the winged cloud for the stars.
8 Stars - In the third castle section, shoot an egg into the red tulip
shortly before the red doors to receive these stars.

- Flower 1 -
Stay still at the start of the level, and eat the Fly Guy to collect a red
coin. Shoot the two winged clouds above and collect the ten stars, and then
walk right to the arch of coins. Collect the left and right red coins in the
arch, and jump up to the post on the right. There are two Grinders on the
right, happily spitting watermelon seeds at you. Ignore the second Grinder, as
the seeds will hit the post. Jump up and eat the watermelon that the first
Gridner holds, and drop down off the right side of the post.
Jump up and shoot a seed at the Grinder on the right, and then jump up to the
second post. Stomp it once to reveal a red coin. Continue right along the grass
path and jump up to the red and yellow platform, which will move right to a
tiny pink rotating platform. Jump onto the rotating platform, and walk as close
to the right edge as you can. When the platform points down and right, jump up
to the bigger rotating platform on the right collect the two red coins in the
line along the way.
Stay on the rotating platform to the top, and the wall will knock you down to a
lower platform. As soon as this happens, do three small jumps right over to the
next platforms, staying on the same rotating platform. You should aim to jump
so quickly so that you land on one of the platform while it's at the right side
of the wall. After landing, quickly jump up and shoot the Grinder on the vine,
and then jump straight up near the right side of the wall to collect the first
flower.
- Flower 2 -
After collecting the first flower, jump straight up from the platform to enter
a secret area. Stomp both crates in the area, and collect the twelve coins.
Shoot the winged cloud for another five coins, and then drop down the gap at
the right side of the area to return to the main level. After landing on the
manually rotating platform, shoot an egg down and left to collect the second
flower.
- Flower 3 -
Jump back over to the manually rotating platform on the right, and immediately
jump up to collect the Grinder in the vines. Move the platform right, and jump
up to collect the two red coins before the second Grinder. Wait for the second
Grinder to spit watermelon seeds, and then quickly jump up and eat him.
Continue moving the platform right to find a third Grinder down below. Just
above this Grinder, there is a vertical line of seven coins. Jump up to collect
the red coin before this line, and then push the Tap-Tap off the post on the
right. Jump onto the post and stomp it three times to collect the third flower.
- Flower 4 -
Shoot an egg at the Tap-Tap on the right, and then jump over to the rotating
platform. Stay on the platform to see a Fly Guy carrying a red coin at the top-
right corner. Jump on top of the Fly Guy, and he will drop the red coin. Drop
straight down to collect the red coin as it falls, and then hover left to land
back on the rotating platform. Stay on the platform and jump near the wall at
the top to collect the fourth flower.
- Flower 5 -
Jump down to the red and yellow platform, and stay still as it moves right.
Jump off to the pink vertically moving platform with the egg plant on it, and
face left. When the platform goes down as far as it can, shoot an egg left to
collect the two red coins in the line. Face right, and shoot an egg up the
Grinder. Jump over to the rotating platform on the right, and jump up to the
horizontally moving platform on the left to collect the red coin in the line.
Hover jump down to the green and white floor near the goal ring, and two Fly
Guys will appear holding a red coin. Eat both Fly Guys, and collect the two red
coins. Run right to the goal ring, but don't jump through it. Instead, run past
the goal ring, and shoot an egg up to collect the fifth and final flower. Run
back to the left, and jump through the goal ring to complete the level.

Flower 1 - On the right side of the wall above the second rotating platform.
Flower 2 - This flower is down in the gap between the two posts after the
first Tap-Tap in the level.
Flower 3 - There is a manually rotating platform about half-way through the
level. The third flower is just left at the left side of the post
that the Tap-Tap is standing on.
Flower 4 - Jump onto the rotating platform after the third flower, and ride
it around to collect the fourth flower at the right side of the
wall at the top.
Flower 5 - On the right side of the goal ring.
1 Red Coin - A Fly Guy appears holding this red coin betwee the two winged
clouds at the start of the level.
2 Red Coins - Walk right from the start of the level to see an arch of coins.
The left and right coins in this arch are red coins.
1 Red Coin - Pound the post just before the second Grinder in the level.
1 Red Coin - Above the second Grinder in the level, shortly before the first
horizontally moving platform.
1 Red Coin - There are three coins above the first horizontally moving
platform. The red coin is the left coin in the line.
2 Red Coins - At the right side of the first rotating platform in the level,
there are four coins leading up and right in a diagonal line. The
first and third coins in this line are red coins.
1 Red Coin - There are three coins on the right side of the wall above the
second rotating platform. The left coin, nearest the first
flower, is a red coin.
3 Red Coins - There is a manually rotating platform about half-way through the
level. There are red coins above the second, third and fourth
Grinders along the platform track.
1 Red Coin - Jump onto the rotating platform after the third flower, and ride
it around to collect the red coin.
1 Red Coin - Jump onto the rotating platform after the third flower, and ride
it around to see a Fly Guy appear holding a red coin. Jump on the
Fly Guy and fall down to collect the coin.
2 Red Coins - Under the first horizontally moving platform after the fourth
flower. To collect the red coins, stand on the vertically moving
platform further on the right and shoot an egg left.
2 Red Coins - In the line of coins above the right side of the final
horizontally moving platform with the egg plant on it.
2 Red Coins - Two Fly Guys appear holding red coins on the path to the goal
ring.
10 Stars - Shoot the first and second winged clouds near the start of the
level.
12 Stars - Stomp both crates in the secret area above the first flower.

- Flower 1 -
Run right at the start of the level and eat the Green Koopa Troopa that is
standing near the three pipes. Jump up to the second pipe, and shoot the shell
at the Pirahna Plant on the third pipe. Jump over the gap to the pipe on the
right, and run down the slope on the other side. About half-way down the slope,
jump right to land on a platform with two Goombas. Eat both Goombas, and then
jump off the right side of the platform to collect the first flower.
- Flower 2 -
Drop down to the path after collecting the first flower, and run over the slope
on the right. Eat the Green Koopa Paratroopa at the top of the slope, and shoot
the shell down at the nearby Pirahna Plant. Run up the next two slopes on the
right to find a coin trail at the start of the third slope. Collect the first
and tenth coins in the coin trail for two red coins, and jump over the Shy Guy
Pipe at the top of the slope.
On the right side of the Shy Guy pipe, eat the Red Koopa Troopa, and shoot the
shell at one of the Pirahna Plants on the right. Turn left and eat the Shy Guys
until Yoshi has six eggs, and then shoot an egg at the remaining Pirahna Plant
on the right. Jump over the pipe on the right and eat the Goomba on the other
side.
Continue right to find a winged cloud above two pipes with Red Koopa Troopas on
top. Eat the nearby Green Koopa Paratroopa, and shoot the shell up at the
winged cloud to receive five stars. Continue right to find a Wild Ptooie
Pirahna on the other side of a pipe. When the Wild Ptooie Pirahna shoots a
Needlenose, quickly jump up to the top of the pipe and go down it.
In the cave, run right and jump over the first two gaps to land near some
crystals. Eat the Shy Guy hidden in the first crystal, and then jump over the
next five gaps to collect a red coin above each gap. After landing on the other
side of the fifth gap, jump up the yellow platforms to the top-right corner of
the cave.
Run left and jump over the first gap to collect three normal coins, and then
jump the second gap to collect a red coin. Eat the Shy Guy hidden in the second
crystal on the path, and jump over the next two gaps to land near the pipe at
the exit of the cave. Run left under the pipe, and stomp the crate at the top-
left corner of the cave for six stars. Run right and go up the pipe.
After returning to the first area, eat the first Red Koopa Paratroopa on the
right, and shoot the shell into the tulip on the left for eight stars. Jump
over the pipe on the right, and run under the remaining Red Koopa Paratroopa.
Continue right down the two steps on the right, and jump over the first Bullet
Bill cannon on the path. Drop off the platform at the end of the path, and drop
down to the next platform on the left to collect a red roin.
Drop off either side of the platform, and run left to find two more platforms,
each with a red coin on top. Collect the red coins, and then shoot the winged
cloud above the gap between the platforms to reveal a blue watermelon. Eat the
watermelon, and run left to find a Beach Koopa walking toward a shell. When he
jumps into the shell, shoot ice at the Green Koopa Troopa, and then jump left
to collect the second flower.
- Flower 3 -
Run right after collecting the second flower, jump onto the yellow platform at
the far right side of the path, and then jump over to the next yellow platform
on the left. Run left and jump over the first Bullet Bill to land on a yellow
platform. Shoot ice at the Bullet Bill Cannon on the left, and eat the Fly Guy
holding the red coin above.
Collect the red coin, and jump up to the next yellow platform on the right.
Hover jump off the left side of this platform to land on a small section of red
path. Run to the left side of this path to reveal a winged cloud, and then
shoot the winged cloud for the stars. After collecting the stars, hover jump
right to land on the next section of red path.
Eat the Green Koopa Paratroopa on the right, and shoot the shell left. Run
right and jump to the path above the first Bullet Bill cannon. Drop down off
the path to land at the right side of the cannon, and collect the red coin in
the middle of the set of three coins on the right. Jump above the second Bullet
Bill cannon, and drop down to the path on the right to collect the next red
coin. Jump over the third Bullet Bill cannon and continue right to exit the
first area.
After arriving in the second area, jump to the log platform on the right and
pass through the middle ring. Jump along the platforms near the start of the
area, and then jump to the red path at the right side of the second see-saw
platform. Wait for the Red Koopa Paratroopa on the right to fly down, and then
jump over the gap. Jump up the step, and continue right along the path to the
end. Drop off the end of the path, and jump left to collect the third flower.
- Flower 4 -
Jump up the big step on the right, and hover jump right over the two Red Koopa
Paratroopas. Jump up the next two steps, and run right to collect a single egg.
Eat the Green Koopa Paratroopa, and drop down the next step. Jump over the gap
to the log platform on the right, and eat the Fly Guy holding the 1UP above. At
this point, there will be a large number of Fuzzys floating about. Try and
avoid the various Fuzzys while jumping over the log platforms on the right.
From the seventh log platform, jump over the two gaps on the right, and
continue right along the path to exit the second area.
After arriving in the third area, run right along the short path, and jump up
to the yellow platform at the end. Run down the slope and continue right to
come to the middle ring. Jump through the middle ring, and then follow the path
down below the message block. Go left to see a section of yellow fluff above,
with a Super Star behind it. Shoot an egg off the wall on the left so that it
bounces through the fluff. Collect the Super Star as it drops down to transform
into Powerful Mario.
After collecting the first Super Star, run up the slope on the left to collect
a single red coin. Continue holding left after collecting the second Super Star
to arrive in an area with the flower. Quickly jump up to collect the fourth
flower, and then run up the slope to collect the third Super Star.
- Flower 5 -
After collecting the third Super Star, run down the yellow platforms and drop
down to the path under the Red Koopa Troopas. Jump up to collect the fourth
Super Star above the red arrows, and then run up the slope on the right to
collect two red coins. On the path at the top of the slope, jump right to
collect the fifth Super Star and the fifth flower. Hover right after collecting
the fifth flower to collect the three red coins, and then drop down to the path
below. Run right and jump through the goal ring to complete the level.

1UP - In the second area, a Fly Guy appears holding this 1UP above a
log platform, about half-way through the Fuzzy section.
1UP - After collecting the fifth flower, drop down to the path below,
and run left to fall onto a red and yellow platform. Stomp this
platform to fall down to a ledge with a large spring ball. Walk
to the left side of this ledge, and jump up to reveal a winged
cloud. Shoot the winged cloud for the 1UP.
Flower 1 - Shortly after the first Pirahna Plant, at the right side of a
platform with two Goombas.
Flower 2 - In the Bullet Bill section of the first area, jump over the
bottom-right Bullet Bill, and drop down to the path on the
right. Run left along the path to find the flower.
Flower 3 - In the second area, this flower can be found in the gap at the
start of the Fuzzy section.
Flower 4 - In the third area, near the third Super Star.
Flower 5 - In the third area, at the right side of the fifth Super Star.
2 Red Coins - In the first area, there are ten coins going up the series of
four slopes before the Shy Guy pipe. The red coins are the left
and right coins in the line.
6 Red Coins - In the first area, go down the pipe just before the Wild Ptooie
Pirahna to arrive in a cave. There are five red coins at the
bottom level the cave, and one red coin above the second gap at
the top level of the cave.
1 Red Coin - In the first area, a Fly Guy is holding this red coin above the
Bullet Bill section.
3 Red Coins - In the Bullet Bill section of the first area, jump over the
bottom-right Bullet Bill, and drop down to the path on the
right. Run left along the path to find the red coins.
2 Red Coins - Near the end of the first area, there are three coins in each gap
between the Bullet Bills. The middle coin in each gap is a red
coin.
1 Red Coin - After collecting the first Super Star in the third area, run up
the wall on the left to find this red coin.
2 Red Coins - On the slope shortly before the fifth Super Star in the third
area.
3 Red Coins - After collecting the fifth Super Star in the third area,
parachute right along the trail of coins to collect the three red
coins.
5 Stars - In the first area, shoot the winged cloud in the gap between the
two pipes, shortly before the Wild Ptooie Pirahna.
6 Stars - In the first area, go down the pipe just before the Wild Ptooie
Pirahna to arrive in a cave. Stomp the crate at the top-left
corner of the cave.
8 Stars - In the first area, shoot an egg into the tulip shortly after the
Wild Ptooie Pirahna.
5 Stars - In the Bullet Bill section of the first area, jump up to the
platform at the right side of the top bullet bill, and then hover
jump left to land on a small path. Run along the path to reveal a
winged cloud, and shoot the winged cloud for the stars.
10 Stars - Pass through the middle ring near the start of the second area.
10 Stars - Pass through the middle ring near the start of the third area.

- Flower 1 -
Turn left at the start of the level, and eat the Shy Guys coming out of the
second pipe until Yoshi has six eggs. Shoot an egg at the Pirahna Plant on the
far left pipe, and then go down the pipe. After arriving in the first cave
area, run right under the yellow egg block to find an arrow cloud, with eight
Koopa Troopa nearby. Shoot an egg at the arrow cloud when it points right to
collect a 1UP. Go right and pass through the paddles.
On the other side of the paddles, run right and jump over the first gap to
collect a red coin. Eat the Green Koopa Troopa on the other side of the gap,
and jump up the big step on the right. Jump over the second gap to collect
another red coin, and shoot the shell at the nearby Red Koopa Troopa. Jump up
the next big step, and run down the three sections of red steps to collect
three red coins.
At the bottom of the steps, run right under the Wall Lakitus and hit the POW
block just before the Tap-Tap. Shoot the winged cloud above the POW block for
five stars, and then continue right to find another Tap-Tap shortly before two
spring balls. Jump up and use Yoshi's tongue to push the Tap-Tap off the right
side of the ledge. With the Tap-Tap gone, jump over the ledge to land near the
two spring balls.
Jump on the large spring ball, and bounce very lightly up to the first tunnel
on the left. Run along the tunnel, and push the crate left to the room at the
end of the tunnel. In the room, stomp the crate for six stars, and then shoot
the winged cloud to reveal the first flower. Collect the flower, and then run
back through the tunnel and drop down to the two spring balls.
