Below are the cheat codes, hints and help for Yoshi's Island - Strategy Guide (Page 08).
Flower 4 - In the fourth area, don't shoot the third winged cloud. Instead,
get close to the edge where the bridge would normally be built
and shoot an egg down and left to collect the flower.
Flower 5 - In the fourth area, ride the pink rotating platform left over the
thorns to collect the flower.
2 Red Coins - In the first area, run right and shoot the bottom-right blue
thorn to reveal a winged cloud. Shoot the winged cloud and go
through the blue doors that are revealed. Hit the metamorphosis
bubble to transform into a submarine, and swim down and left to
the ball and chain. There are two red coins around the ball and
chain: One at the right side and one at the top.
1 Red Coin - Above the second gap in the second area.
1 Red Coin - Above the third gap in the second area.
1 Red Coin - Above the fluff at the right side of the first blue door in the
second area.
2 Red Coins - Above the third Ball and Chain in the second area.
3 Red Coins - In the second area, go through the first blue door. On the other
side, go right to find these three red coins above the water.
3 Red Coins - In the second area, go through the second blue door. On the other
side, go left to find these three red coins above the water.
4 Red Coins - Run past the second blue door in the second area and jump on the
tiny pink rotating platform on the other side. Ride the platform
right to find the red coins.
3 Red Coins - In the third area, these coins can be found after the first Claw
Daddy. Collect the top row of coins.
5 Stars - Run past the second blue door in the second area and jump on the
tiny pink rotating platform on the other side. Ride the platform
right and shoot the second winged cloud for the stars.
5 Stars - In the second area, go through the first blue door. On the other
side, jump over the gaps on the right and jump up through the red
steps. Shoot the winged cloud up on the right for the stars.
10 Stars - In the second area, pass through the middle ring before the third
blue door.
5 Stars - Shoot the winged cloud at the right side of the pink rotating
platform in the fourth area.
10 Stars - Pass through the middle ring at the start of the fifth area.

- Flower 1 -
Hit the egg block at the start of the level to refill the egg supply, and then
jump over the gap on the right to land on the yellow fluff. Quickly eat the
Grinder that starts to bounce away, and continue right to come to a fluff wall.
Don't go near it just yet, as there's a Short Fuse up above. When the Short
Fuse creates the gap under the wall, run through the gap and jump out the other
side.
Stand on the blue block, and wait for the second Short Fuse to create a gap
under the next wall. Run through the next gap and jump out the other side to
land near an egg block. Stand under the egg block and shoot an egg through the
fluff wall on the right to hit the Grinder on the other side. Run through the
gap in the wall created by the egg to arrive near a tulip. Shoot an egg up at
the Grinder on the left, the Seedy Sally up on the right, and then face toward
the tulip.
Jump up, and shoot an egg down into the tulip to receive eight stars. Shoot an
egg through the wall on the right and pass through the gap. On the other side
of the wall, shoot an egg at the Grinder with the watermelon, and then eat the
Potted Spiked Fun Guy that bounces toward you. Shoot an egg up at the winged
cloud above, and shoot another egg in the same direction to collect the first
flower.
- Flower 2 -
Jump up to collect the two red coins, and then jump over to land near the fluff
wall on the right. Shoot an egg straight through the wall so that it hits the
next fluff wall on the right as well. Pass through the first gap and eat the
Grinder that hops toward you. Hit the egg block to refill the egg supply, and
then go through the next gap on the right. Jump up the two fluff steps, and
shoot an egg up and right to collect the second flower.
- Flower 3 -
Shoot an egg up and right to collect the red coin in the trail and hit a winged
cloud for five stars. Jump up through the gap in the fluff and collect the five
stars. Jump down to the right and face left. Eat the Grinder, and then shoot an
egg down and left to collect the red coin below. Run right along the fluff,
eating any of the Gustys that get too near, and jump over the gap to land on a
path at the start of a tunnel. Run right through the tunnel to exit the first
area.
After arriving in the second area, run right under the Short Fuse in the tree,
and eat the Grinder near the post. Jump over the post, and then jump onto the
pink rotating platform. Shoot an egg up at the Short Fuse up on the right, and
then hover jump off when the platform is at the top-right corner. Hover over
the next rotating platform with the Shy Guys on it, and land on the red and
yellow horizontally moving platform on the other side.
When the platform moves over to the right, shoot an egg up at the Short Fuse in
the tree, and then jump over to the next pink rotating platform. Jump off at
the top-right corner and pass through the middle ring above the egg plant. Drop
down to the grass ledge on the right, and then jump over to the pink rotating
platform at the bottom of the mud slope.
Eat the Short Fuse when the platform goes to the highest point, and then stay
on the platform to collect a red coin. Hover jump off to the right when the
platform goes to the lowest point, and collect the two red coins before landing
on the tiny pink rotating platform. Stay on the rotating platform to collect a
red coin, and then jump off at the right side to land on some blocks.
Run right along the blocks and jump up the three steps. Jump over the gap, and
then jump over the high block. On the other side of the high block, eat the
Grinder in the vines. Jump over the post and hit the Grinder on the other side
of the gap. Eat the watermelon that the Grinder was carrying, and jump back
over the gap to the top of the post on the left. Stomp the post four times, and
then shoot a watermelon seed left to collect the third flower.
- Flower 4 -
Run right down the step and fall into the gap to collect four red coins. Jump
over the gap on the left, and then jump up to the block on the left. Jump right
over the gap, and jump over the next block to see the flower. Jump up the small
step and walk near the edge of the block. Bounce an egg off the wall to collect
the fourth flower. Jump over the gap on the right and go through the tunnel at
the top of the steps.
- Flower 5 -
After arriving in the third area, walk right and drop off the edge of the block
to land on a lower block. Hit the egg block to refill the egg supply, and then
go right to drop off the edge of this block. Hover left to land on a path at
the start of a tunnel. Run left through the tunnel to enter a secret area.
After arriving in the secret area, collect the two eggs on the left, and then
face right. Shoot an egg up in the direction of the red arrow to reveal a
winged cloud. Shoot the winged cloud, and jump on the red switch that is
revealed. Quickly jump up the three red block platforms, and jump left from the
third red block platform to land on the green platform.
Stay on the platform as it goes along the wire, and shoot eggs at the six Fly
Guys that appear holding 1UPs. Near the end of the wire, shoot eggs at the two
Fly Guys holding winged clouds to receive ten stars. At the end of the wire,
the platform will drop you back down to the start of the area. Go right through
the tunnel to exit the secret area.
After returning to the third area, jump over the gap to the block with the
small spring ball, and use the spring ball to bounce up to the block on the
left. Hit the egg block to refill the egg supply, and then jump up the two
trees on the right. Jump over the gap under the high tree to the next tree on
the right, and jump over the next two gaps to land on two trees at the left
side of a Wild Ptooie Pirahna.
Shoot three eggs at the Wild Ptooie Pirahna, and jump over the post to collect
the two red coins. After landing on the two trees on the other side of the
post, quickly shoot the Fly Guy holding the 1UP that appears above the second
Wild Ptooie Pirahna. Walk right to the second tree and shoot three eggs down
and right to defeat the second Wild Ptooie Pirahna.
Jump down to the tree on the right, and then jump over the post on the right to
collect two red coins. After landing on the tree on the other side of the
second Wild Ptooie Pirahna post, jump left and land on the tree below the post.
Hover jump right over the gap to collect the two red coins, and then jump up to
the high tree on the right. Jump right to land on the block with the red arrow
pointing right.
Run right along the block and drop down onto the path. Eat the Shy Guys at the
left side of the pipe, and then eat the Seedy Sally in the left tree. Jump on
top of the pipe, and quickly eat the Seedy Sally in the tree above before the
Needlenose gets thrown down. From the pipe, jump up to the tree on the right,
and shoot the nearby winged cloud to receive five stars. Collect the stars, and
then jump back onto the tree at the right side of the pipe.
Jump up to the tree on the left, and then jump two trees on the right. On the
highest tree, jump over to the block on the right. Jump up the next two blocks
on the right, eating the Shy Guy on each one. From the third block, jump to the
top of the tree with the two Short Fuses below. Jump over to the taller tree on
the right, and then jump over the gap to land on the thin block. Walk off the
left side of the thin block to fall through a gap onto a small block below.
Face left on the small block, and shoot an egg down and left to collect the
fifth flower.
Jump up to the block on the left, and shoot an egg at the Short Fuses in the
tree above. Shoot an egg at the Short Fuses in the tree above the block on the
left, and jump over the gap to land on the block. Jump over to the small block
on the left, and then jump right to land on top of the tree. Jump onto the next
tree on the right, and then jump over the thin block to land on top of a tree
with a Shy Guy. Eat the Shy Guy, and drop down the trees on the right to land
near the goal ring. Jump through the goal ring to compete the level.

1UP * 6 - At the start of the third area, walk right and drop off the edge
of both blocks. Hover left off the second block, and walk left
through the tunnel to enter a secret area. Shoot an egg up and
right in the direction of the red arrow to reveal a winged cloud.
Shoot the winged cloud and jump on the red switch. Jump up the
red block platforms to the green platform, and ride the green
platform to find the Fly Guys that carry the 1UPs.
1UP - In the third area, shoot the Fly Guy that appears above the
second Wild Ptooie Pirahna.
Flower 1 - In the first area, shoot the first winged cloud.
Flower 2 - In some fluff near the end of the first area.
Flower 3 - Near the end of the second area, stomp the post four times, face
left and shoot a watermelon seed through the gap to collect the
flower.
Flower 4 - Near the end of the second area, under a block. Bounce an egg off
the block on the right to collect the flower.
Flower 5 - Near the end of the third area. The flower is under the tall tree
with the Short Fuses on it, after the three small blocks.
2 Red Coins - In the first area, there is a red coin at either side of the
first winged cloud.
2 Red Coins - In the first area, there are two sets of three coins shortly
after the second flower: One set is near the bottom of the screen
and one set is at the top. Collect the middle coins.
2 Red Coins - Near the start of the second area, the top two coins between the
two pink rotating platforms.
4 Red Coins - In the second area, there are four red coins between the first
two pink rotating platforms after the middle ring.
4 Red Coins - In the second area, drop down the gap in the blocks shortly after
the third flower to find these coins.
2 Red Coins - In the third area, at the left side of the first Wild Ptooie
Pirahna.
2 Red Coins - In the third area, above the second Wild Ptooie Pirahna.
2 Red Coins - In the third area, above the trees below the second Wild Ptooie
Pirahna.
8 Stars - Shoot an egg into the red tulip near the start of the first area.
5 Stars - In the first area, there is an egg block shortly before the
second flower. Shoot the highest part of the fluff near the right
side of the egg block to reveal a winged cloud, which contains
the stars.
10 Stars - Pass through the middle ring above the egg plant in the second
area.
10 Stars - At the start of the third area, walk right and drop off the edge
of both blocks. Hover left off the second block, and walk left
through the tunnel to enter a secret area. Shoot an egg up and
right in the direction of the red arrow to reveal a winged cloud.
Shoot the winged cloud and jump on the red switch. Jump up the
red block platforms to the green platform, and ride the green
platform. Near the end of the ride, two Fly Guys appear holding
clouds. Shoot the Fly Guys to receive the stars.
5 Stars - Near the end of the third area, shoot the winged cloud before the
red switch.

- Flower 1 -
Go right along the grass path at the start of the level, and jump on top of the
first tree on the mud slope. Jump up to the higher tree on the left, and then
hover jump right to the tree at the right side of the area. Jump up to the
higher tree on the right, and collect the four red coins above the log platform
before going through the tunnel on the right. In the cave, jump up to collect
the first flower.
- Flower 2 -
After collecting the first flower, walk right and drop off the ledge to land
near a large spring ball below. Jump up to collect the key on top of the
mushroom on the right, and then use the large spring ball to bounce up to the
high path on the right. Shoot an egg into the tulip above the left side of the
path for eight stars, and then drop off the right edge of the path.
Hit the nearby egg block to refill the egg supply, and then use the platform on
the right to jump up to the next path. The first Harry Hedgehog in the game
appears on this path, so watch out for a fast moving tiny blue object. Quickly
eat Harry Hedgehog before he becomes large, and then continue along the path to
come to three mushrooms.
Jump up to the highest mushroom, and then shoot an egg up at the winged cloud
above to reveal some red steps. Run left up the steps and jump on to the path
at the top. Jump up to the first mushroom on the path and collect the two red
coins, and then jump over to the next mushroom on the left. Shoot the winged
cloud above the mushroom to receive five stars, and then continue left along
the path. At the left side of the path, jump up to collect the two red coins
and the second flower.
- Flower 3 -
Run right along the path and descend the red steps to arrive near Chomp Rock.
Walk up to Chomp Rock and push it down the series of sloped tunnels to the path
at the bottom. Push Chomp Rock right along the final path until it comes to the
wall at the end. Jump on Chomp Rock and then hop up to the yellow platform.
Jump up the next five yellow platforms above, and then go left from the highest
platform. Shoot an egg up at the winged cloud, and climb the beanstalk that is
revealed.
At the top of the beanstalk, jump up the four yellow platforms, and then jump
over the block on the left to land on the tiny yellow platform on the other
side. Don't hit the metamorphosis bubble just yet. Instead, collect the red
coin under the highest tiny yellow platform on both sides of the bubble. To do
this, walk off the edge of the platform and then hover toward the coin. When
both red coins have been collected, jump over to the metamorphosis bubble.
After transforming into the Mole Tank, hold right to enter the maze. Go down at
the first junction in the maze, and dig right along the tunnel to collect four
red coins. Go up at the end of the tunnel to collect the third flower. Continue
following the tunnels in the maze (ignoring the tunnel which has the three
normal coins in it), to hit the Yoshi Block.
- Flower 4 -
After Yoshi has returned to normal, walk right and jump onto the large spring
ball. Bounce once to remove the yellow block above, and then bounce again to
land on the high yellow platform above. Hit the yellow block above the
platform, and jump up to collect the yellow egg. Shoot an egg up at the Lantern
Ghost on the mushroom, and then jump over to the first mushroom. Jump down the
next two mushrooms, and jump right from the third mushroom to land on the path.
Walk slightly up the slope of the path and hit the egg block to refill the egg
supply. Continue up the slope to the top, and shoot an egg at the winged cloud
above the receive five stars. Collect the stars, and then jump through the
middle ring over on the right. Drop down the two steps at the right side of the
path, and then jump right to collect the fourth flower. Immediately after
collecting the fourth flower, hover up to the mushroom on the right, collecting
the three red coins along the way.
- Flower 5 -
Jump up to the higher mushroom on the right, and then jump right and follow the
line of coins to collect the final three red coins. After landing on the
mushroom with the locked door, ignore the door and jump off the right side of
the mushroom to land near a green pipe below. Jump on top of the green pipe and
go down it to arrive in a secret area.
In the secret area, shoot the winged cloud and jump on the red switch that is
revealed. Run right, jumping up to collect the many coins along the way, and
jump on the next red switch at the far right side of the area. Jump up onto the
platform made of three red blocks, and then jump left up the next long red
block platform. Run left along the red blocks, and jump over the blocks at the
end to collect the fifth flower.
After collecting the fifth flower, jump over the blocks on the right and go up
the pipe at the far left side of the area. After returning to the cave, hover
jump left from the top of the pipe to land on a tall mushroom. Go through the
door with the keyhole in it. Outside the cave, run right along the blocks and
jump through the goal ring to complete the level.

Flower 1 - In the first area, run right and jump up to the fourth treetop.
Hover jump right over to the next treetop, and then jump up to
the platform on the right. Run right along the platform and go
through the tunnel to arrive in a high entrance to the cave. Go
right to collect the flower.
Flower 2 - Near the start of the cave section, there is a winged cloud above
three mushrooms. Shoot the winged cloud and climb the steps. Run
left at the top of the steps to find the flower.
Flower 3 - After jumping up the five yellow platforms about half-way through
the cave section, jump up to the high yellow platform on the
left. Shoot the winged cloud and climb the beanstalk that is
revealed. Climb the yellow platforms above the beanstalk and
touch the metamorphosis bubble to transform into the mole tank.
After dropping down to the path below, dig right through the
fluff maze to collect the flower.
Flower 4 - After passing the middle ring, run down the two small steps on
the right and jump off the edge of the path to collect the
flower.
Flower 5 - After jumping up the five yellow platforms about half-way through
the cave section, jump over the pipe on the right and run down
the slope to drop down to a path. Run right all the way along to
the end of the path and go down the Lantern Ghost pipe. In the
secret area, shoot the winged cloud. Jump on the red switch and
follow the red block platforms up and along to the flower.
4 Red Coins - In the first area, run right and jump up to the fourth treetop.
Hover jump right over to the next treetop, and then jump up to
the platform on the right, where the four red coins can be found.
4 Red Coins - Near the start of the cave section, there is a winged cloud above
three mushrooms. Shoot the winged cloud and climb the steps. At
the top of the steps, run left to find these red coins above the
mushrooms.
4 Red Coins - There are four red coins under the third flower in the fluff
maze.
2 Red Coins - On the way to the third flower, there is one red coin on either
side of the metamorphosis bubble.
3 Red Coins - After collecting the fourth flower, hover to collect the red
coins.
3 Red Coins - After collecting the fourth flower, hover right to land on the
lowest of the two mushrooms. Jump up to the high mushroom and
then jump right. Follow the trail of coins to collect the red
coins.
8 Stars - In the cave section. Below the first flower, there is a large
spring ball. Use the spring ball to bounce up to a high ledge on
the right, where a tulip can be found. Shoot an egg into the
tulip to receive the stars.
5 Stars - Near the start of the cave section, there is a winged cloud above
three mushrooms. Shoot the winged cloud and climb the steps. At
the top of the steps, go left and shoot the winged cloud above
the second set of mushrooms to receive the stars.
5 Stars - After jumping up the five yellow platforms about half-way through
the cave section, jump over the pipe on the right and run down
the slope to land on a mushroom near a winged cloud. Shoot the
winged cloud for the stars.
5 Stars - Shoot the winged cloud shortly before the middle ring. The
location of the middle ring is shown below.
10 Stars - Dig through the fluff maze where the third flower is located
and touch the Yoshi block at the other side. Use the large spring
ball to bounce up through the yellow egg block to the yellow
platform above. Jump across the mushrooms and run right along the
path to pass through the middle ring.
Key - In the first area, run right and jump up to the fourth treetop.
Hover jump right over to the next treetop, and then jump up to
the platform on the right. Run right along the platform and go
through the tunnel to arrive in the cave. Go right and drop down
to the path below. The key will be above a mushroom up on the
right.
Red Switch - There are two red switches in the secret area with the fourth
flower.

- Flower 1 -
Run right through the water at the start of the level, and jump up to the mud
platform. Go right along the platform and jump over the water to the next mud
platform. Jump over the Shy Guy on Stilts on the right, and paddle through the
water to the mud slope. Jump onto the mud slope, and then jump up to the grass
path on the right. Drop down off the right side of the path and eat the
Grinder, and then shoot an egg up at the winged cloud on the right to receive
five stars.
Walk down into the water on the right, and jump up to the green rotating
platform nearby. Move the platform right through the water, and stop after
passing the second Flopsy Fish. Move the platform slowly right, and watch the
swinging Grinders above. When the Grinders swing left or right, jump off of the
platform, collect the first flower, and land back on the green platform before
the Swingers get too near.
- Flower 2 -
Continue moving the rotating platform all the way over to the right side of the
water. Jump over to the block on the right, and then jump up the steps to the
block at the top. Drop down into the gap between the blocks to reveal a winged
cloud. Shoot the winged cloud, and jump on the red switch that is revealed.
Quickly run back to the left and drop down two steps to stand above the red
arrow pointing down. Press down on the red arrow to enter the secret area.
After arriving in the secret area, touch the metamorphosis bubble to transform
into the submarine. Swim down and shoot missiles at the two Preying Mantas. Go
right near the bottom of the area, and swim up after the block to collect two
red coins. Swim right and swim up the next gap to find a red coin in a group of
four coins. Continue right and collect the final two red coins in the area
before swimming up to the Yoshi Block. After transforming into Yoshi, use the
large spring ball on the left to exit the secret area. After returning to the
first area, run right and go through the tunnel.
After arriving in the second area, run right and drop into the water. Shoot the
winged cloud above the right side of the water to receive five stars, and then
jump up the mud slope to the small grass path at the top. On the grass path,
eat the nearby Shy Guy and quickly shoot an egg at the Fly Guy holding the red
coin up on the right before he flies away.
Drop down onto the first post in the water to collect the red coin. From the
first post, shoot three eggs at the Clawdaddy on the second post to defeat him.
Jump over to the second post and shoot an egg up at the winged cloud to reveal
a beanstalk. Jump up to the highest leaf of the beanstalk, and jump right onto
the blocks to collect the second flower.
- Flower 3 -
After collecting the third flower, hit the nearby egg block to refill the egg
supply, and then walk left to drop down onto the second leaf of the beanstalk.
Walk right to drop onto the post below, and shoot an egg diagonally up and
right to hit the two Short Fuses in the vines. Drop into the water and run
right to arrive on a small platform. Shoot an egg up at the winged cloud on the
right to reveal five stars, and then continue right under the Short Fuse to the
second platform in the water.
From the second platform, run right under the two Short Fuses in the vines
above, and jump up to the post at the right side of the water. Jump from the
post over to the trees on the right, and run along to the far right tree to
arrive near the Claw Daddy. Although you could shoot eggs to defeat the Claw
Daddy, there is an easier way. When the Claw Daddy shuffles over to the left
side of the platform he stands on, jump on top of the Claw Daddy, and then
quickly hover jump right to land on the nearby trees.
After passing the Claw Daddy, run right to the third tree. There will be a
Seedy Sally up in the first vine on the right. Move close to the edge of the
tree, and shoot an egg up and right at the Seedy Sally. The egg should hit the
winged cloud on the other side of the Seedy Sally, which will cause a beanstalk
to be revealed. Climb up the beanstalk to the highest leaf, and jump straight
up to enter a secret area.
After arriving in the secret area, run right along the trees and ignore the two
green watermelons surrounded by the four coins. Near the end of the flat path
of trees, a Grinder will bounce toward you. Eat the Grinder, and then drop down
slightly to the lower tree. Jump up the three tree steps on the right and
collect the red coin at the top. Run down the next two tree steps and collect
the red coin on the right. At the end of the path of trees, jump over the large
gap and collect the red coin after landing. Jump right to collect the third
flower.
- Flower 4 -
Walk right slightly onto the third of the high trees, and jump up to collect
the red coin above. Hover jump right to find a large coin arrow. After dropping
down from the first jump, hover again to collect the red coin at the right tip
of the arrow. Jump up to the high trees and walk right to find an egg block and
two winged clouds. Shoot the first winged cloud for five stars, and the second
winged cloud for a 1UP. Hit the egg block to refill the egg supply, and then
drop off the end of the tree on the right to exit the secret area.
After returning to the second area, walk slowly right until the Dizzy Dandy
rolls toward you. Don't drop down to the lower tree, and the Dizzy Dandy will
roll through the gap into the water. When the first Dizzy Dandy has gone, drop
down to the lower tree and hop up to the higher one on the right to see a
second Dizzy Dandy. Walk to the far right edge of this tree, and the Dizzy
Dandy will roll into the water.
When the Spear Guy up on the tree on the right faces right, quickly jump up to
the tree and eat him. Two lines of coins will be just above. Jump right to
collect the two red coins in the middle of the top line. After landing on the
tree below, walk right and jump over to the next tree on the right, avoiding
the Dizzy Dandy as it rolls under you. Jump up to eat the Spear Guy as he faces
right, and land on the higher tree with the six coins above. Jump over the gap
to the trees down on the right.
Shoot the winged cloud at the right side of the two trees to receive five
stars, and then drop down to the low trees below. Use the large spring ball
partially hidden in the far right tree to bounce up to the blocks on the right.
Walk right along the blocks and jump onto the post. Face left on the post and
watch the Spear Guy down on the left.
When the Spear Guy below walks into the post and faces left, quickly stomp the
post four times and eat the Spear Guy before he turns around. Go left and
collect the two red coins. Return to the post and stomp it two times. Watch the
two Spear Guys on the left. When the both face left, stomp the post a third
time and then quickly eat both Spear Guys. Run left to collect the fourth
flower.
- Flower 5 -
Go back to the post on the right and watch the two Spear Guys down on the left.
When they Spear Guys walk left, quickly stomp the post four times and walk
right to drop down to the lowest red bridge. Nearby on the right, the Barney
Bubble will make his first appearance in the game. This strange creature shoots
bubbles when jumped on, which can be used in defeating other enemies. Shoot an
egg at this Barney Bubble, and continue right to the trees under the bridge.
Jump up to the far right tree, and watch the Barney Bubble above. When the
Barney Bubble walks over to the left, jump up to the first bridge above, and
then quickly jump up two bridges to the third bridge. Go left on the third
bridge to pass through the middle ring, and then run right along the bridge to
exit the second area.
After arriving in the third area, run right and slide down the mud slope to the
water at the bottom. Jump onto the floating orange platform in the water, and
collect the two red coins above. Jump over to the small grass path on the
right, and eat the Shy Guy that is shuffling about. Go over to the right side
of the path to discover the Lunge Fish in the nearby water. Hover jump over the
Lunge Fish and land on the small section of mud path.
Jump from the mud path over to the first floating platform in the water, and
the second Lunge Fish will disappear under the water. Quickly jump from the
floating platform and hover over to the block at the right side of the water.
After landing on the block, face left and drop back into the water. As soon as
Yoshi lands in the water, hold right to swim under the block. On the other side
of the block, swim right through the red coin to arrive near the flower. Jump
out of the water to collect the fifth flower.
After collecting the fifth flower, shoot an egg at the winged cloud on the
right and collect the key that is revealed. Jump up the tiny step on the right
and press up to enter the hut for a bonus game. After exiting the hut, hit the
egg block on the left to refill the egg supply. Jump on top of the egg block,
and jump up to the trees above. Run right along the trees and jump up to the
block. Continue right along the block to arrive on some trees.
Jump over the Dizzy Dandy that rolls toward you from the far right tree, and
then jump down to the grass path on the right. Jump up to the large post on the
path, and shoot an egg down at the Lunge Fish in the water on the right. When
the Lunge Fish has been hit, quickly drop down into the water between the two
floating platforms, and jump straight up. In the air, shoot an egg straight up
at the winged cloud between the two blocks above to receive a 1UP.
Swim right through the water and jump up to the post on the small mud platform
at the other side. Shoot the winged cloud up on the right to receive five
stars, and then jump to land at the far right side of the water. Collect the
red coin, and then quickly jump out onto the post on the next mud platform
before the Lunge Fish gets too near.
Hover jump over the next section of water to land on a tall post at the next
mud platform. Shoot the Lunge Fish in the water, and then jump from the post to
the middle of the water to collect the final red coin. Jump out of the water to
the mud path on the right. Eat the Shy Guy walking on the grass path nearby,
and then run right to find the goal ring. Jump through the goal ring to
complete the level.

1UP - In the second area, shoot the winged cloud shortly before the
first Dizzy Dandy, and climb to the top of the beanstalk to
arrive in a secret area. Shoot the right winged cloud at the
right side of this area to receive the 1UP.
1UP - In the third area, shoot the winged cloud in the gap above the
fourth Lunge Fish.
Flower 1 - In the first area, below the swinging Grinders above the second
lake.
Flower 2 - Shoot the winged cloud above the first Claw Daddy in the second
area. Climb the top of the beanstalk and jump right to collect
the flower.
Flower 3 - In the second area, shoot the winged cloud shortly before the
first Dizzy Dandy, and climb to the top of the beanstalk to
arrive in a secret area. Go right and jump over the gap in the
trees to collect the flower.
Flower 4 - In the second area, use the large spring shorty before the middle
ring to bounce up to the platform on the right. Stomp the post
seven times and run left to collect the flower.
Flower 5 - In the third area, jump onto the final pink floating platform in
the section of the water where the second Lunge Fish swims. Jump
off to the right and stomp into the water near the block. Hold
right and swim under the block to the other side. Continue right
to find the flower.
5 Red Coins - Near the end of the first area, drop down into the gap between
the blocks shortly before the pipe to reveal a winged cloud.
Shoot the winged cloud and jump on the red switch. Run left and
press down on the red arrow to arrive in a room with a
metamorphosis bubble. Touch the bubble to transform into a
submarine and then swim through the water to find the coins.
1 Red Coin - In the second area, jump up to the grass platform after the first
lake, and quickly shoot the Fly Guy that appears holding the red
coin up on the right.
5 Red Coins - In the second area, shoot the winged cloud shortly before the
first Dizzy Dandy, and climb to the top of the beanstalk to
arrive in a secret area. There are five coins in this area: Four
are above the tree tops, and one is the far right coin in the
large arrow.
