Below are the cheat codes, hints and help for Yoshi's Island - Strategy Guide (Page 06).
Two cannons shooting Bullet Bills will be down on the left. Wait for the Bullet
Bills to appear, then jump on the top Bullet Bill and bounce up to the ledge on
the right. Shoot the nearby winged cloud for a 1UP and then walk off the left
side of the ledge to land on the two posts near the Bullet Bills. Duck under
the Bullet Bills that are shot from the cannons, and then stomp the posts four
times to receive two red coins. Run right and jump through the middle ring. Go
through the blue doors.
After arriving in the Fat Guy area, run left and jump over the first gap.
Continue left and jump onto the ledge after the second gap. Wait for the Fat
Guy to run near the third gap and then start running back to the left. Quickly
jump left and eat the fast Fat Guy on the path. Continue left and drop down the
step to find six Mildes. Shoot the Fat Guy egg to transform the Mildes into six
stars, and then continue left to come to a bridge.
Run left over the bridge and jump up to the ledge at the left side of the blue
doors. Shoot an egg at the Tap-Tap and then jump up to the platform on the left
to collect the third flower. Run back to the right and go through the blue
doors. Back in the first area, jump up to the ledge on the left and go down the
pipe.
- Flower 4 -
After arriving in the second area, jump onto the first block and walk to the
left side so that you can see the third block falling over on the left. When
the first block starts to fall, jump across to the third block and then jump
down to the fourth block.
Jump quickly across the fifth, seventh and ninth blocks, and then jump over to
the tenth block in the top-left corner of the area to collect two red coins.
Drop down off the right side of the tenth block and land on the platform at the
right side of the grass path. Jump up to the grass path on the left and go up
the pipe.
After arriving in the third area, walk left off the pipe and stomp the third
post twice for a red coin. Jump up to the fifth post and jump over the Eggo-
Dil. On the left side of the Eggo-Dil, continue left to the third post and
stomp it twice for another red coin.
Jump over the fifth post to land near a large spring ball. Use the spring ball
to bounce up to the grass path on the left. Drop down to the post at the right
side of the post and stomp it twelve times to reveal a winged cloud. Shoot the
winged cloud to receive a 1UP and then jump back on the large spring ball.
Bounce back up to the grass path on the left. Go to the left side of the path
and jump over the post to land on the steps. Walk left on the steps and shoot
the winged cloud for five stars. Continue left to the top of the steps and then
hover jump left to land on a platform at the side of a high grass path. Jump up
to the grass path to reveal a winged cloud.
Shoot the winged cloud and jump on the red switch to reveal a red arrow over on
the left. Walk over to the red arrow and press down to enter a secret area. In
the secret area, walk left and stomp down the second line of fluff to collect
the fourth flower. After landing at the bottom of the area, go down the pipe
over on the right.
- Flower 5 -
After returning to the third area, jump over the gap to the platform on the
right and collect the two red coins. Jump up to the grass path on the right and
eat the Fat Guy that's running about. Shoot the Fly Guy above when he is
floating above the grass path to make him drop the red coin.
Collect the red coin and then jump up to the top of the steps on the right.
Stomp the post two times at the top of the steps to collect a red coin, and
then slowly walk off the left side of the grass path to land on a tall post.
Stomp the post ten times to collect a red coin, and then walk right into the
cave.
Jump over the Tap-Tap and collect the red coin on either side of the platform.
Jump up to the platforms at the top of the cave and shoot an egg into the tulip
to receive eight stars. Drop off the platform and go left to exit the cave.
Jump over the small step and run left along the grass path to drop down to a
platform at the end. Walk off the right side of the first platform, then drop
off the left side of the second platform and hover right to land on a small
platform near some winged clouds.
Drop off the right side of the platform to land on a small platform at the
entrance to a small room at the right side of the cave. Walk right and shoot
the winged cloud in the small room to receive five stars. Drop down the gap at
the bottom of the room and then walk right until you come to the expansion
block near the end of the area. Hit the block and then jump on top of it. Jump
up to the platform on the right and shoot an egg straight up into the fluff to
collect the fifth flower. Drop off the right side of the platform and continue
right to enter the fourth area.
After arriving in the fourth area, pass through the second middle ring and then
continue right to find a Metamorphosis Bubble. Touch the bubble to transform
into a car. Drive right and jump to avoid the three sets of Tap-Taps on the way
to the purple rotating platform. Jump and ride onto the rotating platform, and
then drive right at the top to hit the second Metamorphosis Bubble.
Continue right to come to a platform with a red arrow pointing right on it.
Drop off the platform and then drive left onto the yellow platform. After
riding the yellow platform down, drive right and hit the message block to
transform into Yoshi. Continue right and drop down off the platform to come to
a large spring ball.
Jump on the spring ball and bounce straight up to hit a helicopter
Metamorphosis Bubble. After transforming into the helicopter, fly right and
follow the coin trail along to hit three Baron Von Zeppelins holding 1UPs.
Continue following the coin trail as it leads down to hit a final Baron Von
Zeppelin holding a 1UP. Fly down through the paddles to transform into Yoshi
for the second time in this level. Run right and jump through the goal ring to
complete the level.

1UP - When you come to the two cannons shooting Bullet Bills shortly

Flower 1 - Jump onto the egg blocks near the start of the level and then
jump up to the tunnel on the right. Jump up to the platform on
the right to find the flower on the platform above.
Flower 2 - After passing the first set of paddles in the level, jump up to
the platform at the right side of the yellow fluff to find the
flower at the top of two posts.
Flower 3 - After passing the middle ring, go through the blue doors and run
to the far left side of the area to find the flower.
Flower 4 - In the third area, jump on the spring ball after the Eggo-Dil and
bounce up to the top of the steps. Hover jump left and float over
to the platform. Jump up to the grass path to reveal a winged
cloud. Shoot the cloud and jump on the red switch. Press down on
the red arrow. Stomp down the second line of fluff.
Flower 5 - Hit the expansion block at the end of the cave in the third area,
and shoot an egg into the fluff above the platform to collect the
flower.
1 Red Coin - Jump onto the egg blocks near the start of the level and then
jump up to the tunnel on the right. Jump up to the platform on
the right and then jump up to the platform with the flower above.
Jump over to the posts on the left and stomp the right post.
3 Red Coins - Jump onto the egg blocks near the start of the level and then
jump up to the tunnel on the right. Jump up to the platform on
the right and then jump up to the platform above. Shoot the
winged cloud above the posts on the left to create a bridge.
Three Fly Guys holding red coins appear at the left side of the
bridge.
1 Red Coin - A Fly Guy is holding this red coin above the left side of the
hut.
1 Red Coin - Run left past the Lakitus at the left side of the hut and jump up
to the platform in the small tunnel on the other side to find the
red coin.
1 Red Coin - After passing the first set of paddles in the level, jump up to
the platform at the right side of the yellow fluff to find two
posts. Stomp the right post three times.
2 Red Coins - Stomp the two posts just before the first middle ring of the
level, near the two cannons shooting Bullet Bills.
2 Red Coins - On the ledge at the top-left corner of the area with the falling
blocks (second area).
1 Red Coin - After arriving in the third area, stomp the third post from the
left side of the pipe twice.
1 Red Coin - In the third area, stomp the third post after the Eggo-Dil.
1 Red Coin - In the third area, jump on the spring ball after the Eggo-Dil and
bounce up to the top of the steps. Stomp the post at the start of
the steps twice.
1 Red Coin - In the third area, jump on the spring ball after the Eggo-Dil and
bounce up to the top of the steps. Stomp the post at the start of
the steps, and then drop down to the post below and stomp it ten
times for the red coin.
2 Red Coins - Under the tulip in the third area.
1 Red Coin - A Fly Guy is holding this red coin at the bottom of the steps in
the third area.
2 Red Coins - Drop down to the platform on the left at the bottom of the steps
in the third area.
5 Stars - Shoot the winged cloud above the right side of the hut.
5 Stars - Run left past the Lakitus at the left side of the hut and jump up
the platforms at the far left side of the path to find a rotating
purple platform. Shoot the winged cloud above the platform.
5 Stars - After passing the first set of paddles in the level, jump over
the first yellow fluff section and shoot an egg up to the middle
of the second fluff section on the other side.
10 Stars - Pass through the middle ring just after the two cannons shooting
Bullet Bills.
8 Stars - In the third area, shoot an egg into the tulip.
5 Stars - In the third area, jump on the spring ball after the Eggo-Dil and
bounce up to the top of the steps. Shoot the winged cloud above
the left side of the steps.
5 Stars - Shoot the winged cloud at the far right side of the cave near the
end of the third area.
10 Stars - Pass through the second middle ring at the start of the fourth
area.
Key - Run left past the Lakitus at the left side of the hut and jump up
the platforms at the far left side of the path to find a rotating
purple platform. The key is in the tunnel at the right side of
the platform.
Red Switch - After passing the first set of paddles in the level, shoot an egg
under the spring ball in the yellow fluff to find the red switch.

- Flower 1 -
Run right at the start of the level and go down the pipe. After arriving in the
first area, run right along the path and jump onto the first vertically moving
purple platform above the lava. Jump down to the first post in the lava to
collect a red coin. Jump over to the second post to collect another red coin,
and then quickly shoot an egg at the Fly Guy that appears up on the right to
receive a 1UP. Jump over to the second purple platform and from there jump over
to the green platform on the small wire. When the green platform reaches the
far right side of the wire, jump over to the path on the right.
Walk over to the right side of the path and drop down to the first post in the
lava to collect a red coin. When the Lava Bubble jumps out of the lava and geos
back in, do a small jump and then hover over to the next post on the right to
collect two more red coins. Jump over to the green platform on the vertical
wire and then jump over to the next green platform on the long wire. Ride this
platform all the way along the wire to collect the first flower.
- Flower 2 -
Jump onto the path on the right when the platform reaches the end of the wire.
Continue right and jump across the two green platforms to land on the yellow
platform. Collect the red coin at the left side of the yellow platform and then
jump right to land on the final green platform in the area. When the platform
gets near the end of the wire and starts going down, jump right and pass
through the first middle ring. Run right along the path and go up the pipe.
After arriving in the second area, run left down the two steps and wait near
the rotating arrow platform. Jump on when the platform points up and left and
ride up to the cloud at the top-left corner of the area. Go up the pipe. In the
secret area, jump up to the ledge on the right and shoot the winged cloud to
reveal a train Metamorphosis Bubble. Touch the bubble and then ride along the
track to the junction. At the junction, take the top track and continue along
to collect the second flower. Touch the Yoshi block at the end of the track and
run left back to the start of the area. Go down the pipe.
- Flower 3 -
After returning to the second area, wait for the arrow platform below to point
right and then jump onto it. Follow the coin trail to collect three red coins
and then jump onto the platform at the end of the trail. Go through the pipe to
enter the third area.
After arriving in the third area, go right and drop down to the tunnel below.
Go right and then go left at the junction. Continue left to enter the fourth
area.
After arriving in the fourth area, walk left and eat Shy Guys coming out of the
pipe until Yoshi has six eggs. Jump on top of the pipe and shoot the winged
cloud for three stars. Run left and jump over the small gap to land near the
first Dizzy Dandy in the game. Jump over the Dizzy Dandy and then run under the
yellow fluff. Go to the left side of the platform and jump over the two gaps to
land near another Dizzy Dandy.
Quickly jump over the Dizzy Dandy and then jump over the next gap on the left
to land near a normal flower under a platform of fluff. Walk to the left side
of the small fluff platform and wait for one of the Boo Guys above to drop a
missile down onto the fluff, which will create a gap. Drop down into the fluff
gap and collect the third flower.
- Flower 4 -
Jump out of the fluff gap and run left to come to a fluff platform in a gap.
Quickly jump onto the middle of the platform to collect the red coin, and then
jump over to the path at the left side of the gap. Shoot the winged cloud for
five stars and then continue left to find a vase. Jump over to the left side of
the vase and push it right along the log platform. Push it off the edge of the
log platform to reveal a key. Run right all the way back to the start of the
area. Shoot the winged cloud above the Shy Guy pipe for three more stars, and
then go through the pipe at the far right side of the area.
After returning to the third area, run up the slope on the right and drop down
the first gap. Walk left and then right to drop down the two ledges, and run
right along the tunnel to enter a room with five coins. Collect the middle red
coin, then go left and jump up the two platforms. Go right at the top of the
gap and continue right to enter the fifth area.
After arriving in the fifth area, eat the Shy Guys coming out of the first pipe
until Yoshi has six eggs. Jump over the pipe and continue right under the
message block to come to a spiked log with a wheel at the top. Shoot the wheel
twice to raise the log, an then quickly run under it. On the other side of the
log, eat two more Shy Guys coming out of the pipe and then go through the pipe
at the far right side of the area. Run right along the tunnel and enter the
door with the keyhole.
After arriving in the sixth area, walk right and jump up the three platforms.
From the third platform, go left at the junction and jump up the two platforms
to come to a small room with the second middle ring. Pass through the middle
ring and then drop down the gap on the right. Jump over the small gap to come
to another junction. Take the low path and go through the blue doors at the
bottom of the slope. Defeat both Burts in the room to reveal the flower.
Collect the fourth flower and then go through the blue doors.
- Flower 5 -
After returning to the sixth area, jump up the small step and then run left up
the slope. Jump up the platform at the top of the slope and then jump up to the
path on the right. Of the six coins, collect the second and fifth coin, and
then continue right to enter the seventh area.
After arriving in the seventh area, eat the Shy Guys coming out of the first
pipe until Yoshi has six eggs. Run right and jump onto the small platform near
the first spiked log. Shoot the wheel twice and then quickly jump over to the
vertically moving purple platform on the other side. Jump across to the path
and hit the egg block to refill the egg supply. Continue right and jump onto
the next purple moving platform. Shoot the wheel above the second spiked log
twice to raise it. Jump right to drop down into the gap under the spiked log
and run right to collect the fifth flower.
Walk right after collecting the fifth flower and jump up through the log
platform. Drop down off the edge of the path on the right, and continue right
to come to an arrow platform. Jump on the platform when it points up and
slightly right, and then ride it to collect the first red coin. At this point,
hover jump straight up and land back on the platform when it points up and
left.
After the second red coin, hover jump and ride the platform up to collect the
third red coin. Jump off to the ledge on the right after collecting the third
red coin, and then jump up to the log platform above. Shoot an egg up at the
small section of blue thorns to reveal some doors. Go through the blue doors.
After arriving in the eighth area, run into the hidden tunnel on the left and
jump up to the lowest platform. Jump out of the tunnel and land on the lowest
log platform on the right. Jump up the log platforms to the top to collect two
red coins, avoiding the Bandits along the way. On the top log platform, walk
left to land on a vase. Get on the left side of the vase and push it right to
reveal a key.
Collect the key and then jump back to the log platforms on the left. From the
top log platform, jump over to the grass path on the right and pass through the
third middle ring in the level. Walk onto the log platform at the right side of
the path and drop down the platforms to collect the final two red coins. Jump
over to the hidden tunnel on the right and go through the blue door with the
keyhole.
After arriving in the ninth area, run right and hit the three yellow egg
blocks. Jump through the fourth middle ring in the level, and then jump up to
the high ledge on the right. Push the vase off the ledge on the right for six
coins, and then continue right to the far right side of the area. Go through
the red doors.
- Boss Fight 4: The Potted Ghost -
This is by far the easiest boss fight in the game! When the fight starts, run
right and push the Potted Ghost right. If he pushes you away, just run back and
keep pushing him right. When he spits blue flames, wait until they disappear
and then continue to push him right until he falls off the platform.

1UP - In the first area of the castle, shoot the Fly Guy that appears
above the green platform in the first section of lava.
Flower 1 - In the first area of the castle, near the end of the long wire
above the second section of lava.
Flower 2 - In the second area of the castle, jump on the first arrow
platform when it's pointing up and left and go up the pipe at the
top-left corner of the area. Shoot the winged cloud and ride the
train to the flower.
Flower 3 - About half-way through the Boo Guy area (fourth area) of the
castle, this flower can be found under a small fluff platform.
Flower 4 - Go through the door at the bottom-right corner of the second dark
tunnel area (sixth area), and shoot both Burts to reveal the
flower.
Flower 5 - Below the second spiked log in the seventh area of the castle.
2 Red Coins - In the first area of the castle, above the first two posts in the
first section of lava.
3 Red Coins - In the first area of the castle, above the first two posts in the
second section of lava.
1 Red Coin - In the first area of the castle, above the yellow platform before
the middle ring.
3 Red Coins - In the second area of the castle, jump on the first arrow
platform when it's pointing up and left and ride up to the coins.
1 Red Coin - In the first dark tunnel area (third area) of the castle, you can
find this red coin at the bottom-right corner of the area.
1 Red Coin - On a fluff platform at the far left side of the Boo Guy area
(fourth area) of the castle.
2 Red Coins - In the second dark tunnel area (sixth area) of the castle, found
at the top-right corner of the area.
3 Red Coins - At the right side of the seventh area of the castle, jump on the
arrow platform and follow the coin trail above.
2 Red Coins - Jump up the platforms at the left side of the Bandit area (eighth
area) of the castle.
2 Red Coins - Jump up the platforms at the right side of the Bandit area
(eighth area) of the castle.
10 Stars - Pass through the first middle ring near the end of the first
area of the castle.
3 Stars - In the Boo Guy area (fourth area) of the castle, shoot the first
winged cloud for the stars.
5 Stars - Shoot the winged cloud at the far left side of the Boo Guy area
(fourth area) of the castle.
10 Stars - Pass through the second middle ring at the top-left corner of the
second dark tunnel area (sixth area) of the castle.
10 Stars - Pass through the third middle ring at the top of the Bandit area
(eighth area) of the castle.
10 Stars - Pass through the fourth middle ring at the start of the ninth
area of the castle.
6 Stars - Push the first vase off the ledge in the ninth area.

- Flower 1 -
Run left at the start of the level and go down the green pipe to arrive in a
secret area. Stomp the two crates for twelve stars, and shoot the two winged
clouds for a further ten stars. Walk left and go up the pipe to exit the area.
After returning to the main level, run right to come to the first red switch in
the level. From this point on, the level gets very difficult... especially if
you're going for a 100 point score.
Jump on the first red switch and quickly jump up the three red block steps on
the right. Jump over to the red and yellow platform at the top of the steps and
wait as it travels up to a long flat wire. On the flat wire, immediately jump
to land on the second red switch in the level on three red blocks. Wait until
the platform returns, and then walk off the right side of the red blocks to
land back on the platform.
After landing back on the platform, wait as it travels along the wire and up
the ramp at the other end. When it goes off the ramp, wait to collect four red
coins, and then quickly jump over to the first of four red block platforms on
the right. Jump over to the third red block platform, and then jump over to the
large spring ball on the fourth red block platform. Bounce up through the gap
in the red blocks to collect the first flower, and hold left to land on the
blocks at the left side of the gap.
- Flower 2 -
After landing at the left side of the gap, quickly run left to collect two red
coins and then jump over the gap to land on the third red switch. Quickly go
right and jump over the two gaps to land near another red and yellow platform.
Jump onto the platform. The platform will go down and right along a wire. When
the platform goes right, hold down to pass under a first set of red blocks.
Jump over the Pirahna Plant on the other side to collect three red coins and
the second flower.
- Flower 3 -
After collecting the second flower, land on the next platform on the right and
hold down to pass under a second set of red blocks. Jump over the Pirahna Plant
on the other side to collect three more red coins and the third flower.
- Flower 4 -
Land on the next platform on the right and hold down to pass under the third
and final set of red blocks. The platform will go off a small ramp at the end
of the wire. Collect the two red coins in the trail, and then jump over to the
red switch on the red block platform on the right. Use the large spring ball to
bounce over the high red block platform on the right to collect the fourth
flower.
- Flower 5 -
After collecting the fourth flower, hold right to fall down the long gap and
land at the right side of a red and yellow platform. The platform will go along
a small wire, and will then start to fall. When the platform starts to fall,
jump up to the red block platform on the left. Jump on the large spring ball
and bounce over the high red block platform on the right to collect the fifth
flower.
Wait for the red block timer to run out, and then drop down to the red and
yellow platform on the right. The platform will go up and along a wire. When
the platform starts to drop at the end of the wire, jump right and pas through
the goal ring to complete the level.

4 Red Coins - Ride the first red and yellow platform off the ramp at the end of
the long wire to find these coins.
4 Red Coins - After jumping off the first red and yellow platform, jump across
to the fourth red block platform and use the large spring ball to
bounce up through the gap. There are four red coins on the red
blocks.
3 Red Coins - Above the first Pirahna Plant in the level.
3 Red Coins - Above the second Pirahna Plant in the level.
2 Red Coins - After passing the second Pirahna Plant in the level, the platform
will go off a ramp at the end of the wire. Ride the platform to
collect the coins.
2 Red Coins - One red coin can be found at either side of the fourth flower.
2 Red Coins - One red coin can be found at either side of the fifth flower.
5 Stars - In the first winged cloud in the secret area.
5 Stars - In the second winged cloud in the secret area.

- Flower 1 -
Run right at the start of the level and jump on top of the yellow fluff. Walk
to the middle of the fluff platform and stomp the post three times to reveal a
winged cloud. Shoot the winged cloud to receive five stars, and then jump right
to land on top of the remaining fluff. Collect the red coin level with the
fluff, and continue right up the slope. Shoot an egg at the winged cloud at the
top of the slope to reveal a flower. Walk slowly onto the edge of the slope to
collect the first flower, and then jump over the large gap on the right to land
on the next slope.
- Flower 2 -
On the other side of the gap, quickly eat the Grinder before he bounces away.
Run under the Seedy Sally up in the trees and go up the slope. Drop down on the
other side of the path, and walk right to collect a red coin. Shoot an egg up
at the winged cloud above to receive five stars, and then stomp the post on the
right twice to collect a red coin. Go up to the top of the slope on the right
to see the flower. Jump off to collect the second flower, then quickly hold
left to collect the red coin below.
- Flower 3 -
After landing on the grass path, run right and jump over the gap below the
Seedy Sally in the tree. Walk right and eat both Grinders on the red bridge,
then collect the red coin, which is the fourth coin in the line of coins on the
bridge. Run right to the end of the bridge to exit the first area.
After arriving in the second area, jump off the bridge to the grass path on the
right. Drop down the small slope and collect the middle red coin in the set of
three coins above. Go right and jump up the big slope to the path at the top.
Jump over the post and continue down the slope on the other side. Jump up the
small slope to the path above, and run right all the way along to the end of
the long path.
Jump through the middle ring and slide down the mud slope to the bottom. Drop
down the five big mud steps and slide down the next mud slope to land in the
water. Hold left in the water to get close to the mud slope, then jump and hold
left to swim under the mud to a gap at the other side. Jump up the six
platforms in the gap and use the large spring ball on the sixth platform to
bounce up to a secret area. In the secret area, walk left onto the big donut
lifts and fire eggs at the Fly Guys which appear on the right holding 1UPs. On
the cloud platform at the bottom of the area, run right and go down the green
pipe.
After returning to the second area, go right and drop down the five mud steps.
Go down the slope at the bottom of the steps and drop back into the water. Jump
onto the orange floating platform in the water and then jump up to the small
green platform on the right. Collect the red coin above the right side of the
platform and jump onto the first floating platform in the water on the right.
Collect the red coin at the right side of the platform, and then jump over to
the next floating platform on the right. Collect the red coin at the left side
of the platform and then shoot an egg up to collect the third flower.

Jump over to the green platform on the right and then jump over to the mud
slope on the right. Jump up to the top of the post and eat the Grinder on the
next post on the right. Collect the middle red coin between the posts, and then
continue right up the small mud slope to the third post. Stomp the post twice
to collect a red coin, and continue right to come to an egg block. Hit the egg
block to refill the egg supply, and then shoot the winged cloud above the egg
block to receive six stars.
Jump over the next post on the right and run up to the top of the mud slope.
Jump to the log platform at the top of the slope, ignoring the Pirahna Plant
over on the left. Jump up the three log platforms above, eating any Grinders
that get in the way. On the fourth log platform, jump left over to the fifth
log platform, eating the Grinders there if you need more eggs, and then jump
right to the sixth log platform.
Jump up two platforms to the eighth platform, and eat the green watermelon at
the right side of the platform. Jump up and shoot a single watermelon seed at
the Grinder on the ninth platform, and then jump over to the platform. Jump
right to the tenth platform and shoot two watermelon seeds in the same
direction: One to hit the winged cloud and one to collect the fourth flower.

Jump up to the platform above and shoot a watermelon seed at the Pirahna Plant
up on the left. Jump left over to the platform, and then jump up to the tiny
platform above. Jump up to collect the red coin above the left side of the
platform, and then jump over to the long platform on the right. Go right along
the platform and jump over to the grass path. Run quickly right along the path
to avoid the three Grinders up in the trees. Jump over the post about half-way
along the path, and stop before the gap at the end of the path.
Jump over the two gaps, collecting the red coin above each gap, and then jump
over the next three gaps. After passing the fifth gap, face left and shoot a
watermelon seed to collect the red coin in the gap. Face right and quickly
shoot the Grinder holding the watermelon. Eat the watermelon and shoot the
watermelon seeds at the various Grinders as you run right right along the path.
Jump over the two gaps at the end of the path and continue right to exit the
second area.
After arriving in the third area, run right and jump up to the top of the post.
Quickly eat the Grinder on the right, and then stomp the post three times to
collect a red coin. Eat the watermelon that the Grinder dropped, and go right
to the pit with the swinging Grinders. Jump up and shoot a watermelon seed
above the pit to collect a red coin, and continue right to the pit. Quickly
jump over the pit when the Grinders swing up to the left, and jump over the
next gap on the other side.
On the other side of the gap, jump up to collect the red coin at the right side
of the Grinder with the watermelon, and continue right to come to a see-saw
platform. Jump onto the right side of the platform and wait for it to drop
enough so that you can collect the red coin. After collecting the red coin,
quickly jump over to the pink platform on the right. Ride the platform up as
high as it can go, and then jump up to collect the fifth flower.
