| |
| This is where you see some real difference in your rival. He still has |
| Pidgeotto which is as annoying as usual with Sand Attack, but is now armed |
| with a new attack, Whirlwind. He'll use this rarely but it can be dangerous|
| since it switches your Pokemon. |
| |
| Now, if your rival started with a Charmander or Bulbasaur, he will have a |
| Gyarados. This thing is about as hard as spelling its name. It will constan|
| use Thrash which will have a lot of power and can KO a lot, but will confus|
| itself after 3 turns which is your chance to strike. Electric atacks should|
| do the trick. BTW, if you ever want this Pokemon, evolve your Magikarp if u|
| haven't already ;o |
| |
| If you rival started with a Charmander or Squirtle, he will have an |
| Exeggcute. It's a bit of a joke really. It will usually use Awakening first|
| followed by a Reflect to increase defense. It can easily be KO'd within a |
| few turns as long as you have an Awawkening. It's a new face but easy to |
| defeat. |
| |
| If your rival started with a Bulbasaur or Squirtle, he will have a |
| Growlithe. Another easy dude, you've faced many on the SS Anne and this one|
| is no different. Use Ground, Rock, or Water attacks. |
| |
| Kadabra is also the same as always. High Special Attack and low defense, so|
| a couple of Quick Attacks should make quick work of it. It will use Kinesis|
| a lot which is just like Pidgeotto's Sand Attack so finish it fast and keep|
| switching. |
| |
| Now for the starter. All three of them will just use their normal elemental|
| attack along with a new damaging attack. They're all pretty simple and wil |
| fall fast to something that they are weak against. |
| |

When you finish with Gary, head up to the third floor and battle the trainer.

Near Hope, you'll find an Escape Rope. Grab it and head to the next floor.

Also on this floor, you'll find an Elixir, an Awakening and a Great Ball.
When you have all the goods, cruise up to the next floor. At the center of
this room is a healing area, so visit that.

In the healing area, you'll find a Cleanse Tag, and there is a Nugget in the
lower left corner. Before heading up, be sure to grab these goodies. On the
next level, you'll run into:

You will find an X Accuracy and Rare Candy on this level. The stairs to the
top floor are guarded by a ghost -- which turns out to be the spirit of a
Level 30 Marowak. At the top of the tower are several Team Rocket Grunts.
They play as follows:

Team Rocket Grunt
-----------------
Zubat, Lv. 25
Zubat, Lv. 25
Golbat, Lv. 25

Team Rocket Grunt
-----------------
Koffing, Lv. 26
Drowzee, Lv. 26

Team Rocket Grunt
-----------------
Zubat, Lv. 23
Zubat, Lv. 23
Rattata, Lv. 23
Raticate, Lv. 23

After you have beaten all the trainers, you will find the missing Mr. Fuji.
As a thank you for rescuing him, he will give you an awesome prize: the Poké
Flute.

Not only can you use it to wake up the two sleeping Snorlax that block your
way, you can even use it in battle to wake up any sleeping Pokémon. If you
want, you can now head to Route 11 or Route 12 and wake up and capture the
Snorlax. Remember though, there are only two Snorlax in the game. Be sure to
catch at least one of them, as it's a powerful Normal type. Next stop:
Saffron City. Go west from Lavender Town to get there.

Saffron City has been taken over completely by Team Rocket. Your mission,
should you choose to accept it, is to enter the once benevolent Silph Company
HQ and free it from said Rocket infestation. Before you move on, you may want
to pop into the local Gym. Which one? Yep, you're right. There are two. At
first, you can only enter into the one on the left.

Fighting Dojo Gym
-----------------
This gym is actually not required to beat the game. But you get a cool
Pokémon prize when you beat it, so don't skip it. The opponents are really
easy to beat. Just use a Ghost type (it can't be hit by the Fighting Pokémon)

After you have beaten the Karate Master, you will be given the choice of one
of two rare Fighting Pokémon: Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee. You can only get one
of the two, so choose wisely. Since Hitmonchan's Special rating sucks, it's
probably a good idea to pick the lightning fast Hitmonlee.

How do you get the second one? Sorry, you can only obtain the other through
trade or by beating Pokémon Stadium's Gym Leader Battle mode.

Get TM 29 - Psychic
-------------------
Enter the house in the southeast to get TM29 (Psychic), one of the most
reliable attacks in the game. Use it often against Poison (/Ghost) and
Fighting types for one-hit wins.

This office maze can be really confusing when you don't know where you're
going. There are tons of teleporters that take you places -- and guess what,
most of them are completely superfluous. All you need to do is take the
elevator up to the fifth floor (you'll need to go the warp spot, then head
back to 5F to get to it) and grab the Card Key in the narrow corridor in the
southern part of the room. Now you can open every locked door in the
building, so you don't need to try and warp around too much.

Head to the third floor. Open the locked door and take the teleporter next to
the table. You will now fight your arch nemesis, your Rival.

| All I can say is wow. His puny little second-evolution starters have |
| evoloved, and so have two other pokemon. For Pidgeot, use electric attacks |
| as fast as you can. It has very high speed and will probably attack first. |
| Fortunately, it no longer knows sand-attack. Alakazam still has weak |
| defense, so treat it like you did Kadabra. Gyarados is now something even |
| more powerful than before. It's attack is really high, and so is it's |
| special defense, but because it's water/flying, it'll bow down to electric |
| attacks. |

| Exeggcute is the same, just a higher level, and same with Growlithe, which |
| learned a couple new attacks. The starters are what will really slow you |
| down. Charizard knows flamethrower, an extremely powerful fire attack. |
| Venusaur is a killer with razor leaf, and likes to inflict status condition|
| Blastoise has a high defense and special defense,
| so make sure you have strong attacks. |
| |
'----------------------------------------------------------------------------'

By the way, you can heal your Pokémon at any time by going to the 9th floor
and talking to woman in the southwest corner of the building. If your Pokémon
are healthy enough for the final showdown, continue on from Rival's position
to face the following trainer:

Team Rocket Grunt
-----------------
Cubone, Lv. 32
Marowak, Lv. 32
Drowzee, Lv. 32

Now beat the TEAM ROCKET BOSS!

Boss Giovanni Battle No. 2
--------------------------
Nidorino, Lv. 37
Kangaskhan, Lv. 35
Rhyhorn, Lv. 37
Nidoqueen, Lv. 41

Beat Giovanni to get your hands on the valuable Master Ball. Store this gem
away for later use.

There is no use in listing all the trainers in this building as you're likely
to take your own route through here. After you have beaten Giovanni, you can
now explore the building without getting attacked and safely retrieve all the
items scattered about. Here's a look at what's where:

2nd Floor: Thunder Wave [Move Tutor]
3rd Floor: Hyper Potion
4th Floor: Full Heal, Max Revive, Escape Rope, TM41 (Torment)
5th Floor: Protein, TM01 (Focus Punch)
6th Floor: HP Up, X Special
7th Floor: TM08 (Bulk Up), Calcium
8th Floor: Iron
10th Floor: Carbos, Rare Candy, Ultra Ball
11th Floor: Zinc

Get Lapras
Be sure to pay a visit to the Silph employee on the 7th Floor, in the same
room where you fought Gary. He will give you a rare Level 15 Lapras as a
reward.

Get TM31 (Mimic)
Once you have liberated Silph Co., you can enter the house in the northwest.
Give the Poké Doll you bought in Celadon City to the cookie girl upstairs and
she'll give you TM31 (Mimic).

Now heal at the Pokemon center and head to the Saffron Gym.

  _ _

-|_|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|_|-

After you have saved the Silph Company's president, you can finally enter the
official Saffron City Gym and battle Sabrina. In order to get to Sabrina, you
need to step on the teleportation squares on the ground.

Use this sequence to get to Sabrina:

• Step on the first square to warp to the southeast room.
• Step on the upper right square to warp to the room above.
• Now use the upper left square to go to the northeastern room.
• The lower left square brings you to the northwest corner.
• Pick the lower left square again and you'll face Sabrina.

Talk to Sabrina to begin the battle.

| With one of the toughest types downgraded from there RBY days, Sabrina's |
| team is easier than ever to defeat. Kadabra, Mr. Mime, and Alakazam are |
| all pure Psycic, meaning they fall prey to Dark (Bite, etc) and Ghost moves|
| Venomoth falls with Psycic and Fire moves. A good team to bring along is |
| Gyrados with Bite, Zapados with Drill Peck and Thunderbolt, and any fire |
| Pokemon for Venomoth. |

'----------------------------------------------------------------------------'

Once you beat Sabrina, you will receive the Marsh Badge that lets you train
Pokémon up to level 70, as well as TM04 (Calm Mind). Once you're done here,
move on to Route 12 to catch yourself a Snorlax and some Water Pokémon. Your
ultimate destination is Fuchsia City, so you can also take a different way --
like Routes 16-18, for example.

--|-|---------------------------------------------------------------------|-|--
  | | - Route 12 - | |
--|-|---------------------------------------------------------------------|-|--

Go south from Lavender Town to get to Route 12 (or north from Route 13, if
you went the other way).

Get Return
Enter the guard house and talk to the kid upstairs. You will get your hands
on a TM27 (Return).

Catch Snorlax
There are only two Snorlax in the game (the other one being on Route 16).
Wake it up using the Poké Flute, put it to sleep and wear down its hitpoints -
- then catch it using a Great Ball or better.

Get the Super Rod
The second building on this route is home to another fishing aficionado. Talk
to him to get the Super Rod (and don't forget to store away your lesser
fishing rod in the PC whenever you've got the chance). Use the rod to get
your hands on some new Water Pokémon. Note that you will need to Surf around
to get SlowPoké or Slowbro.

Important Items
---------------
TM 16 - Pay Day: Use Surf to find it towards the north.
Iron: Cut down the bush in the southwest near the Camper.

Route 13
Route 13 isn't the most exciting place on Pokémon Island, but there's a patch
of high grass in the east that houses some interesting Pokémon for you to
catch. Be sure to examine that suspicious gap in the southernmost fence.
You'll find a PP Up.

--|-|---------------------------------------------------------------------|-|--
  | | - Route 15 - | |
--|-|---------------------------------------------------------------------|-|--

Remember Route 14? Route 15 is more of the same, but at least you get to pick
up a new technique: TM 20 - Rage. Although this skill isn't very exciting,
another, much better item awaits you at the end of the path.

Cut down the tree and explore the upper path to find some trianer.

At the end of the path, you'll score a TM18 (Rain Dance). The rest of the
trainers can be found on the lower path.

Get EXP. ALL
If you have caught 50 or more different types of Pokémon, Professor Oak's
aide will give you EXP. ALL at the end of Route 15. He is waiting for you
upstairs in the guard house. If you carry EXP. ALL in your inventory, all the
experience you gain in battles is evenly shared between all six Pokémon in
your party -- whether you used them in battle, or not. It's a great way to
level up five low-level Pokémon while using only one strong one at the top,
but you should store it in your PC if you want to focus on leveling up single
Pokémon at a time. Head west from the guardhouse to get to Fuchsia City.

Now that you have thwarted Team Rocket's clumsy efforts to corrupt Saffron
City, it's time to concentrate on your Pokémon training skills once again.
This small town outside the famed Safari Zone is home to yet another Pokémon
Gym -- but you may want to explore the streets of Fuchsia City first.

The Move Deleter
----------------
If you want a Pokémon to "unlearn" a move it has learn, visit the Move
Deleter in the building directly next to the Pokémon Center.

If you go to the house in the southeast of town, you'll be able to get yet
another fishing rod. Sadly, this so-called "Good Rod" isn't nearly as good as
the Super Rod you already own -- so don't pick it up, or simply dump it into
your PC as soon as possible. You do, however, may want to do some fishing in
the pond behind this guy's house.

The Safari Zone's Warden lives in the house next door. Don't try too much to
decipher what he's saying -- you can't. Well, until you fix his speech
impediment, which is accomplished by finding his Gold Teeth. So head into the
Safari Zone, pay the 500 entrance fee and look for the teeth. Here's how you
find them:

From the entrance, head north and east to find the exit to Area 1. Head east
until you come to a grassy area, then go up the steps to the north. Go west,
then down the steps and continue on north where you will see another short
stairway. Go up the stairs, go east, and then down the next stairway you see.
The exit to Area 2 is to the west, so go north until you can turn left and
continue on west until you find the exit.

Now that you're in Area 2, go west until you're in the tall grass, then
continue on north and go up the steps (not the ones by the sign), then take
the next flight of stairs down again. Go west until you bump into a pond,
then continue on north. Go east until you find yourself in tall grass again,
then go north. When you can't go any further, turn to the left and continue
on west (pick up the Protein power-up on the way). You'll come to another
patch of tall grass. You're almost there. Just go all the way to the south
and exit this map to go to Area 3. There, finally -- a few squares to the
south -- you will find the Gold Teeth.

Get HM 03 (Surf) and TM 32 (Double Team)
----------------------------------------
Since you're already here, why not get the most useful HM at the same time as
the teeth? Just go to the west from where you entered into Area 3 and you'll
see a small hut (you will also see TM32 lying outside on the ground, so grab
it). Inside the hut, you will receive Surf. Teach this to your Pokémon to get
a powerful Water attack that almost always hits its target -- and the ability
to cross rivers, ponds, lakes and even oceans. To go for a swim anywhere,
just walk up to a shore and select the Pokémon that knows Surf in the Pokémon
menu. Select Surf and you're on your way.

Get HM04 (Strength) and Rare Candy
----------------------------------
With the Gold Teeth in hand, go back to the Warden's house in Fuchsia City
(it's the house in the southeast, below the pond). As a reward for bringing
back his teeth, he will give you HM04 (Strength). This power lets your
Pokémon push around large boulders (you have to manually activate the
Strength power every time you enter a new area). Use Strength in the Warden's
house and push the boulder to the right. You can now grab the Rare Candy.

SAFARI ZONE
-----------
The Safari Zone is home to some rare Pokémon, as well as a number of
interesting items.

We've already covered how you can find the Gold Teeth, HM03 and TM32 above,
but there is certainly some more stuff to be found here:

Nugget: In the entrance area. You need Surf.
Leaf Stone: Area 1
Max Potion: Area 1
Quick Claw: Area 1
TM11 (Sunny Day): Area 1
Full Restore: Area 1
TM47 (Steel Wing): Area 2
Protein: Area 2
Gold Teeth: Area 3
TM32 (Double Team): Area 3
Max Revive: Area 3
Max Potion: Area 3

In case you're confused about how to catch Pokémon in the Safari Zone, here
are the basic rules:

You can take 500 steps before you're automatically recalled to the entrance.
You can only use the 30 Safari Balls provided by the park.
You cannot attack or use items or status altering moves.
You can throw stones to make the Pokémon you are trying to catch angry. This
will make it more likely that you will catch the Pokémon, but it will also
make the Pokémon more likely to run away. You should throw multiple stones to
increase your chances.

You can toss out bait to make the Pokémon stay around longer. On the
downside, this makes them harder to catch.

Catching some of the rare Pokémon, like Chansey can be tough. It's not
unusual to throw all 30 Safari Balls without catching a Pokémon, so don't get
discouraged. Just save your game before you enter the Safari Zone. If you
don't catch anything good, just restart.

-|_|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|_|-

Fuchsia City's gym is led by Koga, a friend of Poison type Pokémon. Bring a
team that contains Psychic, Fire, Ground, Water and Bug Pokémon and you will
breeze right through this gym. There are a couple of invisible walls in this
gym that prevent you from directly walking up to the respective trainers, but
it's pretty easy to figure out this maze.

First battle the Juggler on the left side of the room, then walk over to the
guy on the right. From there, just continue on up (fight 3 and 4) until you
hit the wall. Now go to the left side of the room and head down. You'll bump
into another wall. Just go to the right and down and you'll fight trainer #5.
Go back to the left side of the room and head down (fight 6 on the way). About
four squares below #6, go to the right and face Koga.

| This is a very tough line-up. If you have kadabra(or possibly Alakazam), |
| you'll have no problem because of Alakazam's high sp. attack and speed, |

  | | - Route 18 - | |
--|-|---------------------------------------------------------------------|-|--

Welcome to the most boring place in the universe. Okay, maybe it's not quite
THAT boring. But aside from three trainers and the chance to catch some wild
Doduos, there's really nothing here.

Oh, if you haven't redeemed your bike voucher for a bicycle yet, this is the
perfect time. You won't get far without a bike, so go back to Cerulean City's
Bike Shop if you haven't gotten one yet.

If you head upstairs in the guardhouse, you will find a chap who is looking
for a Golduck. If you have one, go ahead and trade it for his Lickitung!

If you don't have a Tentacool yet, try fishing for one around here. But
that's really all you can do on Route 18. Let's move on to Route 17, which is
directly attached to the northern portion of this section.

--|-|---------------------------------------------------------------------|-|--
  | | - Route 17 - | |
--|-|---------------------------------------------------------------------|-|--

Though Route 17 is about four times the size of Route 18, there isn't really
much more going on here. You will notice that if you neglect to push up, you
will be repelled back by the steep grade.

Just head on north to get to Route 16 and fight as many trainers on the way
as you want. It's really easy to avoid battles, but you may want to fight
just to build up some of your weaker Pokémon.

--|-|---------------------------------------------------------------------|-|--
  | | - Route 18 - | |
--|-|---------------------------------------------------------------------|-|--

Although it doesn't look like much, Route 16 is definitely the most
interesting part of the Route 16-18 section. Sure, there's not a whole lot of
action going on (only six trainers), but you will encounter a sleeping
Snorlax and finally get the cherished HM02 (Fly) that lets you "warp" between
the different towns and routes. First, though, knock off the biker rally:

Go inside the guard house and chat with the Prof. Aide upstairs. If you have
caught 40 or more Pokémon, he will reward you with the Amulet Coin. If you
have enough, say yes... otherwise, get capturing!

Get HM 02 (Fly)
---------------
Go through the guard house, wake up the Snorlax with the Poké Flute and
capture it (if you haven't done that yet) and look for the "Cut"-able bush on
this passage. Get rid of it using the Cut technique and go through the top
part of the guard house. Before you can, you'll face a pair:

You will find a small hut -- the secret retreat of a reclusive Pokémon
trainer. As a reward for keeping her place secret, she gives you HM 02 - Fly.
Apart from being a great two-turn Flying attack during battles (only Swift
can hit your Pokémon while it's in the air), it also lets you fly from town
to town outside of battle. That's it for Route 16 -- it's now time for yet
another little side quest.

Side quests. Do you like this word? This section is totally optional. I
recommend that you do it. Some benefits are extra items, rare Pokemon
including a strong legendary, and a few little this and thats.

| Electabuzz | Rare | None | '---------------'
'--------------'----------'------------'

Now that you've got both Fly and Surf, it's high time to visit the Power
Plant, close to Route 9. To get there, use Surf in the northeast corner of
Route 10 and swim all the way down to the large building you first spotted
from the south of the area. You will face a single trainer when you get out
of the water (you can also ignore him).

Enter the building after you've beaten him and prepare to fight oodles of
Electric Pokémon. The Power Plant is really straightforward, but watch out
for fake item balls. Only five of the item balls in this stage actually
contain items, the others are actually camouflaged Voltorbs. Don't worry too
much about them, though. If you've got a decent Ground Pokémon with Dig, you
can easily rack up tons of experience by disposing of the Voltorbs. Plus, the
item rewards are pretty sweet:

Zapdos > Catching Difficulty: Very Hard
----------------------------------------
You don't want to miss out on this powerhouse of an Electric Pokémon that
awaits your challenge in the northwest corner of the building. There is only
one single Zapdos in the game and you better make sure that you catch it for
your collection. Use a Ground or a Grass Pokémon to attack it and try to put
it to sleep and lower its HP as quickly as possible. Then use Ultra Balls to
catch it. Note that this can take quite a while. Your best bet is to save
right before the encounter and just reset your Game Boy if you happen to mess
up.

Once you've got Zapdos and caught all the Pokémon you were looking for, go
back to Fuchsia City to access Route 19.

--|-|---------------------------------------------------------------------|-|--
  | | - Route 19 - | |
--|-|---------------------------------------------------------------------|-|--

Go south from Fuchsia City to get to Route 19, which is directly connected to
Route 20. Walk down to the island and get in the water... Route 19 is mostly
water, so you'll need to Surf it!

All the Pokémon you encounter are susceptible to electricity, so be sure to
bring your brand-new Zapdos to breeze right through this area. Also, be sure
to have a Pokémon that knows Strength on your team. You'll need it in the
area after Route 19. Here are the trainers you'll find in your path:

At the end of Route 19, get out of the water and enter the cave to go to
Seafoam Island.

--|-|---------------------------------------------------------------------|-|--

| Zubat | Uncommon | Common | | Revive |
| Golbat | Common | Uncommon | | Big Pearl |

| Slowpoke | Common | Common |
'--------------'----------'------------'

You can't get through Seafoam Island unless you have a Pokémon that knows
Strength. So remember to bring it.

This underground maze looks mighty confusing, but it's actually not that bad.
The idea is to use your Strength ability to move boulders out of the way and
drop them into holes in the floor. This will make them fall to a lower level
and form a dam -- which stops the strong current and lets you safely swim
around. If you mess up and move a boulder into a bad spot, simply exit the
room to find the boulder reset to its original position.

After you enter the cave, go to the east and push the boulder into the hole
to the north of it. Now go back to the steps to the north of the entrance and
go up. Grab the Ice Heal. Instead of going down the ladder in front of you,
continue on to the east and go down the steps there. Push the boulder down
the hole, then take the ladder next to the hole down to the basement. You
will now see the rock you pushed through from above lying on the ground. Push
it into the next hole and head back up. You should now take the ladder you
originally passed by.

You will emerge on top of a plateau. Make your way south, then east, up the
steps and all the way north. Now go to the right and go down the steps.
Voila. There's that first boulder you pushed down. Push it into the next hole
and head back up onto the plateau and go back to the very northwestern corner
of this room. There, you will find another ladder (it's close to the ladder
you original came down from). Go down and head east to find your boulder
again. Push it into the hole and head back up. Go south and east and back
onto the second plateau. On the southern portion, you will find a Revive.

Go down the ladder on this plateau, then head west and take the steps down
leading to the ladder in the southwestern corner of this room (be sure to
pick up the Big Pearl to the east before heading down). Confused yet? It will
get worse.

You should now emerge from the ladder just to the north of another boulder.
To get there, head to the east and down. There are four boulders here that
you need to push around, two of which have to be pushed into holes. Here's
the easy way to do it. Start with the right boulder and push it up two
squares. Now you can push the second boulder from the right down. Push it one
square down only, then one square to the left. Next, push the boulder just to
the north of you all the way to the left. You can now drop the lboulder just
north of its hole down into it. Return to the final stone, push it two spaces
to the left, then one space down to finish.

Go up the steps and continue on northwest until you see steps leading down to
a small area with another ladder. Take those down to the lowest level. Make
your way to the northeastern corner of this area and use the ladder to go
back up (it's near a sign). Take the next ladder up as well. You will now be
able to push the last boulder into the hole. Now go back down the two
ladders -- you are ready for a swim. With the boulders blocking the current,
you can now go to the westernmost part of this area and walk down the steps
into the water. Swim to the very north until you see a bird Pokémon perched
on a small island. This is your chance to catch another legendary bird
Pokémon.

Articuno > Cacthing Difficulty: Very Hard
-----------------------------------------
Articuno can be found in the northwest corner of the lowest level of this
dungeon. It's a lot easier to catch than Zapdos since you can use Electric
attacks to bring its HP down. Be sure to save your game before you try to
catch Articuno as it can take a couple of tries (and a lot of Ultra Balls) to
get it. But catch it you must. It's already at level 50 and will learn the
powerful Ice attack Blizzard at level 51.

After you're done, go back to the ladder you just passed and take it up. You
should now be on the level where you pushed around the four blocks. Go south,
but don't take the ladder you see there -- instead go east and up, then
descend the steps into the water and swim over to the right. Walk up the
steps and go south to find a new ladder. This is the way out.

As you emerge from the cave, it's another trainer fight.

When this fight concludes, plop in the water and work to the west. Continue on
to the west to go to Cinnabar Island.

O============================================================================O

O============================================================================O

You have arrived on the mysterious Cinnabar Island, home to many mysteries
-- but also many revelations.

It's Jurassic Park meets Pokémon. This innocent looking laboratory houses
some of Pokémon Island's smartest scientists. Using the island's remote
locations as a protection against curious journalists, these scientists have
worked on a secret project to clone extinct Pokémon and even genetically
engineer new ones. It sounds problematic, but it's actually good for you.
Bring the fossil you received on Mt. Moon as well as the Old Amber (Pewter
City Museum) and have the scientists turn them into real, living Pokémon.
This way, you'll get Aerodactyl and either Kabutops or Omastar.

There are also a number of trading opportunities here, although they're not
crucial to completing your Pokédex. Bring a Raichu to get an Electrode, trade
a Venonat for a Tangela, or exchange a Ponyta for a Seel.
