Fire Emblem - Strategy Guide (Page 12)

Below are the cheat codes, hints and help for Fire Emblem - Strategy Guide (Page 12).

Florina
****
This is actually a good support... For Serra, anyway. Unfortunately, it takes a
long time to kick in.

Lucius
******
One of Serra's better supports. The stats they get go great with both
characters, and plus both characters are quite good. The only thing preventing
this from being perfect is that it's a little slow.

Hector
****
This is a good pairing for Hector, but Serra doesn't benefit too much from it.
Plus this one takes a while to activate.

Matthew
*
This support is TERRIBLE. Neither benefits really at all, it takes a long time
to do AND most people rarely use Matthew. Avoid at all costs.

Oswin
****
Not too shabby. Just like Hector/Serra, Oswin will benefit more than his
loud-mouthed counterpart.

Sain
***
(Yawn) An average pairing. What's there to say?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

WIL

Dart
***
Another one of those one-sided pairings. Dart gets fantastic increases while
Wil barely gets any useful ones. It is pretty fast, however.

Lyn
****
Wil?! Bah. How does Wil get... Anyway, this one is pretty much average. It does
kick in pretty fast, though, as do almost all of Lyn's pairings.

Raven
***
This is a very slow, but still semi-good pairing. Wil gets good stats, and
Raven gets mediocre ones.

Rebecca
****
Pretty average, besides the fact that it is quick to activate. Both characters
get average gains. And when are you going to use two Archers in the same
battle?!

|A. Character List|
 -----------------

This character list is not 100% accurate. Two characters are very rarely
exactly alike, so you may find one character more valuable than the other.
Thanks to www.pegasusknight.com for publishing the stat growth information; if
you can read Japanese, check that place out. It's the best FE site on the net.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Athos
Class: Archsage
Rating: 10/10
Game Description: An archsage. One of the eight legendary heroes.
Support: None
Affinity: Anima
Starting Weapon Levels: Light (S), Anima (S), Dark (S), Staff (S)
Recruiting: Joins automatically in the Final Chapter.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
0 0 0 0 0 0 0

Story:
Athos is one of the eight legendary heroes who took part in the Scouring. He
helps out Eliwood in defeating Nergal many years later.

Comment:
Best character in the game!!! He joins at level 20 promoted, with high stats in
all areas, aside from HP, Skill, and Speed (which are very low). He is able to
use all types of magic, including the legendary spells Forblaze and Aureola. He
can easily take on Nergal by himself. Despite all of this, he joins you in the
final Chapter of the game. So that means you have to train your other mages.
Anyway, yeah, this guy is in the Fire Emblem Hall of Awesomeness. Did I mention
he comes with the legendary weapons Durandal, Armads, and Sol Katti, along with
Aureola and Forblaze?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bartre
Class: Fighter -> Warrior
Rating: 3/10
Game Description: One of Eliwood's guardsman. Duty is everything to him.
Support: Canas, Dorcas, Karla, Raven, Renault
Affinity: Fire
Starting Weapon Levels: Axe (D)
Recruiting: Joins automatically in Chapter 11.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
85 50 35 40 30 30 25

Story:
Bartre is a fighter that lives around Pherae. When Caelin bandits attack, he
and Dorcas help Eliwood fight them off and from there on he joins them.

Comment:
...Bartre is terrible. He can't hit OR dodge, plus he isn't THAT strong. He can
take a beating, though. Also, if you're playing on Hector's mode you will want
to use him to recruit a certain character late in the game. And by use him, I
mean "use him frequently". He is the worst axe user in the game, next to Geitz
(and not counting Marcus or Isadora).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Canas
Class: Shaman -> Druid
Rating: 8/10
Game Description: A scholar, and a novice student of ancient magics.
Support: Bartre, Nino, Pent, Renault, Vaida
Affinity: Anima
Starting Weapon Levels: Dark Magic (B)
Recruiting: Visit his village in Chapter 16x.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
70 45 40 35 25 25 45

Story:
Canas is a student of dark magic living in Badon. When he meets your group
seeking passage from Fargus to Valor, he asks to go with you. Not much to say
about him, other than he's a big nerd.

Comment:
Canas is overrated, stat-wise. The only outstanding stat he gets is Resistance,
while everything else is just decent (well, what can you expect from a guy who
reads books on the battlefield?). He is, however, the only Shaman/Druid in the
game, and the only person who can use Dark magic (not counting you-know-who) so
I recommend using him on several occasions. Many find him very helpful against
the final bosses when he has the Luna spell in his hands, and I have to agree.
But against the common enemy, I prefer Erk, Nino, and Lucius more.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dart
Class: Pirate -> Berserker
Rating: 6/10
Game Description: One of Fargus's corsairs. Foulmouthed, but kind.
Support: Farina, Geitz, Karel, Rebecca, Wil
Affinity: Fire
Starting Weapon Levels: Axe (B)
Recruiting: Joins automatically at the beginning of Chapter 18.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
70 65 20 60 35 20 15

Story:
Dart is Fargus' most trusted pirate. When Eliwood asks Fargus for permission to
go to Valor, Dart decides to join him on his journey.

Comment:
Dart isn't great. Then again, no Pirate or Fighter really ever was, not
counting Orsin and Halvan in Thracia 776. He is a lot better than Dorcas and
Bartre, though. He gets amazing HP, Strength, and oddly, Speed. But his Skill
and Resistance are extremely low, so give him a high Hit axe, or else he'll be
useless.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dorcas
Class: Fighter -> Warrior
Rating: 4/10
Game Description: A man from a small village in Bern. Fights for his wife.
Support: Bartre, Farina, Geitz, Oswin, Vaida
Affinity: Fire
Starting Weapon Levels: Axe (C)
Recruiting: Have Lyn talk to him in Chapter 4. Rejoins in Chapter 11.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
80 60 40 20 45 25 15

Story:
Dorcas is fighting alongside bandits in order to earn money to help his wife's
diseased leg. Little does he know that the fortress his boss commands him to
attack is sheltering her! Lyn tells him this and joins you in order to
rightfully receive money. After Lyn gets to Caelin, Dorcas goes to Pherae,
where Eliwood lives. A Pheraen village is attacked by bandits, and Dorcas goes
out to help them and meets Eliwood. He might seem cold, but he does care a lot
for his wife and the ideals of justice.

Comment:
Dorcas isn't extremely bad, but Hector is the only axeman you really need.
Dorcas is, however, EXTREMELY powerful and has a TON of HP. But he is also
very, very slow and prone to magic spells. He is better than Bartre and Geitz
but worse than Hawkeye, Dart, and of course, Hector.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eliwood
Class: Lord -> Knight Lord
Rating: 8/10
Game Description: Marquess Pherae's young son. Just and honorable.
Support: Fiora, Harken, Hector, Marcus, Lowen, Lyn, Ninian
Affinity: Anima
Starting Weapon Levels: Sword (C)
Recruiting: Joins automatically in Chapter 11.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
80 45 50 40 45 30 35

Story:
Eliwood is the son of Elbert, Marquess of Pherae, and father of Roy. His father
leaves Pherae and goes missing. He leaves in pursuit of him, and this will lead
him on a journey that will alter the fate of Elibe.

Comment:
Eliwood is a pretty good Lord (better than Roy was, that's for sure). But he
isn't quite as good as Hector or Lyn. Still, he is very well balanced for a
character (nothing outstanding or terrible about him), and he becomes mounted
when he promotes. You must use him in every battle after you acquire him, and
if he dies, it's Game Over for you.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Erk
Class: Mage -> Sage
Rating: 8/10
Game Description: A young mage from Etruria. Charming, but uptight.
Support: Louise, Nino, Pent, Priscilla, Serra
Affinity: Thunder
Starting Weapon Levels: Anima (D)
Recruiting: Joins automatically in Chapter 5. Rejoins in Chapter 14 if Serra
talks to him.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
65 40 40 50 30 20 40

Story:
Erk is an apprentice of Pent in Etruria. He has been hired to escort Serra to
Ostia, but Serra constantly gets him into trouble which eventually leads him to
join Lyn. Later on he gets a job escorting Priscilla, but they get stuck in
Laus, because Marquess Darin won't let her leave. Eliwood arrives, however, and
Serra convinces Erk to join. Realizing that this is the key to getting out of
Laus, he accepts. He is always gloomy and serious.

Comment:
Erk is a good mage. He is very powerful, albeit inaccurate and prone to
physical attacks. But he has very high Resistance. For the first half or two
thirds of the game, he is my main magic user, but I usually sit him out by the
time Priscilla and Serra promote, or whenever I get Nino.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fiora
Class: Pegasus Knight -> Falcon Knight
Rating: 9/10
Game Description: Commander of the 5th wing of Ilia's pegasus knights.
Support: Eliwood, Farina, Florina, Geitz, Kent, Pent, Sain
Affinity: Wind
Starting Weapon Levels: Lance (C)
Recruiting: Have Florina talk to her in Chapter 18.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
70 35 60 50 30 20 50

Story:
Fiora is the sister of Farina and Florina, and is in charge of a squad from
Ilia. However, her squad is killed by the Black Fang one day, and she is the
only survivor. She alone tries to go take on the Black Fang. But as luck would
have it, she meets up with her sister, Florina, who convinces her to join
Eliwood.

Comment:
She's even better than Florina. Plus she's the hottest character in the game.
Of course, I say that about EVERY overly-serious Pegasus Knight... But yeah,
anyway, Fiora is awesome. If I could give one more character a 10 out of 10
without people saying that I give too high of a score to too many people, then
Fiora would be that person. Every stat is high, the exception being Luck. Why
are the serious ones so unlucky? Being one of the three Pegasus sisters, she
can perform the Triangle Attack along with them. So keep her alive!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Florina
Class: Pegasus Knight -> Falcon Knight
Rating: 9/10
Game Description: A Pegasus Knight earning her title. A friend of Lyn's.
Support: Farina, Fiora, Hector, Lyn, Ninian, Nino, Serra
Affinity: Light
Starting Weapon Levels: Lance (D)
Recruiting: Joins automatically in Chapter 3. Rejoins in Chapter 15.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
60 40 50 55 50 15 35

Story:
Florina is a pegasus knight training in Ilia. She hears Lyn is leaving for
Caelin and sets out to look for her; however, she is captured by bandits. Lyn
finds her and rescues her, and Florina joins her group to finish her training.
When Lyn conquers Caelin, she decides to stay with her as her guardian. But
when Darin attacks Caelin, she is forced to flee. She sends a message to
Eliwood for help, and he happily agrees. She and Lyn join Eliwood from then on.
She is a big crybaby and is scared around men. She cares a lot for her pegasus,
Huey.

Comment:
Florina is awesome, but she's hardly a match for her sisters Fiora and Farina,
who join you later in the game. It's a long time until you get them, though, so
don't be afraid to use her. She is very frail, and will die quickly if you put
her near Archers or axe users. She should be used only to attack mages and
swordsmen. When you get a Body Ring, make sure you use it on her! The main
reason you should keep her alive is to recruit her sister, Fiora, but the next
best reason is because she ends up awesome. If you want, you can have her and
her sisters surround an enemy and do a "Triangle Attack".

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Geitz
Class: Warrior
Rating: 1/10
Game Description: The eldest son of a wealthy merchant. Finding himself.
Support: Dart, Dorcas, Fiora, Isadora, Karel
Affinity: Thunder
Starting Weapon Levels: Axe (B), Bow (B)
Recruiting: Have Dart talk to him in Chapter 23, Linus version.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
85 50 30 40 40 20 20

Story:
Geitz is a Warrior in Bern who is wandering around. He takes the Black Fang's
side, but when he sees his friend Dart on Eliwood's side he converts and fights
the Black Fang. He doesn't seem to care whether he lives or not.

Comment:
Bah. As if there weren't enough sucky Warriors. Say hello to the worst of them
all. Geitz fits the "Warrior" pattern quite nicely; nice HP and Strength but
bad Skill, Speed, and Resistance. Even Bartre is better than this freak. Geitz
will be slaughtered by even the weakest magic spell, as he ends up with the
lowest Resistance in the game.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guy
Class: Myrmidon -> Swordmaster
Rating: 9/10
Game Description: A youth from Sacae. Yearns to be a swordmaster.
Support: Karel, Louise, Matthew, Priscilla, Rath
Affinity: Fire
Starting Weapon Levels: Sword (C)
Recruiting: Have Matthew talk to him in Chapter 13.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
74 30 50 70 45 15 25

Story:
Guy is a guy (...heh) from Sacae who is training hard to become an expert
swordsman. He almost starves to death, but is saved by Matthew. Later on he
joins some bandits and attacks Eliwood's party in order to get some money.
However accompanying Eliwood is Matthew, who convinces him to switch sides.

Comment:
Guy is awesome, and rivals Lyn as the best sword person in the game. He will
easily max out Skill and Speed, making him a dodging machine that never misses
a target. To top it all off, he has fairly high HP and a mediocre Defense to
boot. However, if there is one problem with Guy, it is his rather low Strength.
I would use some items on him to raise it, or use Support conversations. But
his Strength isn't really a problem when he promotes, because Swordmasters get
+25% to their Critical Hit.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Harken
Class: Hero
Rating: 6/10
Game Description: The sole survivor of the Knights of Pherae.
Support: Eliwood, Isadora, Lowen, Marcus, Vaida
Affinity: Fire
Starting Weapon Levels: Sword (B), Axe (B)
Recruiting: Talk to him with Eliwood, Lyn, or Hector and fulfill the following
requirements:
Chapter 25, Jerme Version: Open at most 3 doors before turn 9.
Chapter 25, Kenneth Version: Defeat at least 2 promoted magicians before turn 9.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
80 35 30 40 40 30 25

Story:
Harken was one of Elbert's soldiers. He managed to survive and then followed
the Black Fang in order to find the perfect opportunity to find vengeance.
However, he sees Eliwood's group on the opposite side of the battlefield and
rejoins Pherae. He is constantly hard on himself for not being able to defend
Elbert.

Comment:
Another prepromoted character that doesn't end up too bad. Harken and Raven are
very, very close in terms of usefulness, but I prefer Raven by only a little
bit. Harken has MUCH better Defense and Resistance than Raven does, but Raven
has better HP, Skill, and Luck. Take your pick. Harken comes with the extremely
useful Brave Sword.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hawkeye
Class: Berserker
Rating: 6/10
Game Description: The protector of Nabata. A mysterious air surrounds him.
Support: Louise, Ninian, Pent
Affinity: Wind
Starting Weapon Levels: Axe (A)
Recruiting: Have Eliwood talk to him in Chapter 22.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
50 40 30 25 40 20 35

Story:
Hawkeye serves as the guardian of the Nabata Desert. He works for Athos, is a
friend of Fae's. When Eliwood's group searches for Athos, Hawkeye guides them
to him. He then follows Eliwood on his campaign.

Comment:
Out of the Berserkers and Warriors, I like Hawkeye the most. All of his stats
are above average, except for his Skill (by a little) and his Speed (by a lot).
So if speedy axemen are your thing, you might want to go with OMGWOWTHAT'SFAST
Dart instead. Hawkeye will end up with fantastic HP and very good Strength as
well. Once he got six critical hits in a row with his Killer Axe. So this is an
example of a not-too-bad prepromoted unit. Don't expect him to compare with
Hector, though.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Heath
Class: Wyvern Rider -> Wyvern Lord
Rating: 8/10
Game Description: A deserter from Bern's wyvern riders. Prideful.
Support: Kent, Legault, Louise, Priscilla, Vaida
Affinity: Thunder
Starting Weapon Levels: Lance (B)
Recruiting: Have Eliwood, Hector, or Lyn talk to him in Chapter 21.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
80 50 50 45 20 30 20

Story:
Heath was one of Bern's wyvern riders, and was hired by Marquess Laus. After he
died, Heath became a Mercenary and worked with others who followed Darin. His
Commander, Eubans, tells him to attack a fort housing Ninian and Nils. However,
he is against it because there are women and children inside. He ends up
switching to Eliwood's side and defeats Eubans.

Comment:
Heath is a great character. He has great Defense and HP, making him a durable
fighter, and he is very powerful as well. With high movement he'll be able to
pick off those pesky long-range units. However, he suffers from low Luck and
Resistance, so don't place him anywhere near magic users. Overall, I prefer the
Pegasus Knights, but Heath is still a very good unit.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hector
Class: Lord -> Great Lord
Rating: 10/10
Game Description: Marquess Ostia's younger brother. Reckless, but loyal.
Support: Eliwood, Farina, Florina, Lyn, Matthew, Oswin, Serra
Affinity: Thunder
Starting Weapon Levels: Axe (C)
Recruiting: Joins in turn 4 of Chapter 12.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
90 60 45 35 30 50 25

Story:
Hector is one of the three lords in the game. He is the brother of Marquess
Uther of Ostia, and is the father of Lilina in Fuuin no Ken. He is a childhood
friend of Eliwood's, and when Eliwood goes searching for his father, Hector
decides to help him.

Comment:
Hector is, arguably, the best axeman in the history of Fire Emblem. He gets
amazing gains, and is one of the three main characters to boot, so you're
forced to use him often. He is very strong, and can take a lot of blows. Many
times, enemies won't even be able to deal any damage to him. He is also very
accurate and fast for someone who wields an axe for a weapon. All in all,
Hector is easily the best Lord in the game, but still, if he dies, it's Game
Over.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Isadora
Class: Paladin
Rating: 1/10
Game Description: A paladin in service to house Pherae. Modest and polite.
Support: Legault, Geitz, Harken, Lowen, Marcus, Renault, Sain
Affinity: Darkness
Starting Weapon Levels: Sword (A), Lance (B), Axe (D)
Recruiting: Joins automatically in Chapter 21.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
75 30 35 50 45 20 25

Story:
Isadora is a Paladin who guards Eliwood's mom, Eleanora, in Pherae. After
returning from the Dread Isle Isadora heads out to help Eliwood find Nergal.

Comment:
Like the other Pheraen soldiers, Isadora is very, very bad. In fact, in my
opinion, she's next to only Marcus in terms of crappiness. Below average in
everything aside from Speed and Luck, and absolutely terrible in Strength,
Skill, and Defense, she ends up just as useless as he is. In the later Chapter,
sending her out is suicide, as she gets killed so quickly and easily. Bench her
ASAP.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jaffar
Class: Assassin
Rating: 5/10
Game Description: The Black Fang's Angel of Death. Once served Nergal.
Support: Legault, Matthew, Nino
Affinity: Ice
Starting Weapon Levels: Sword (A)
Recruiting: Talk to him with Nino in Chapter 26. Then go to Chapter 26x and he
will automatically join.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
65 15 40 35 20 30 30

Story:
Jaffar is one of Nergal's Four Fangs. He carries out his wishes, no matter what
they may be. However, some stuff happens, and he and Nino turn on the Black
Fang and decide to go with Eliwood.

Comment:
Jaffar has rather mediocre stats all around, except for his very high Skill and
his very low HP and Luck. As far as Assassins go I prefer Legault, but Jaffar
ends up being stronger, if only by a little. He will do more critical
hits/instant kills than either Matthew and Legault, and is stronger as well.
But both of those guys are faster and more durable. It's up to you.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Karel
Class: Swordmaster
Rating: 6/10
Game Description: An eastern swordmaster. Seeking worthy opponents.
Support: Dart, Geitz, Guy, Karla, Lucius
Affinity: Light
Starting Weapon Levels: Sword (A)
Recruiting: Talk to him with Eliwood, Lyn, or Hector and fulfill the following
requirements:
Chapter 25, Jerme Version: Open 4 doors before turn 9.
Chapter 25, Kenneth Version: Defeat at most 1 promoted magician before turn 9.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
70 30 50 30 30 10 15

Story:
Karel is a wandering Swordmaster. He seeks battle and seems to enjoy fighting.
He is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Ken as well.

Comment:
I think Guy totally outclasses Karel, in almost every way possible. However,
Karel still has very good Skill and Speed. But his HP is lacking, so he is
pretty frail. But overall, he's not too bad; actually, I'd say he's pretty
decent. One of the best things about him is that he comes with the very rare Wo
Dao sword, only usable by a few characters (Karel, Guy, Karla, and Lyn).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kent
Class: Cavalier -> Paladin
Rating: 7/10
Game Description: A knight in service to house Caelin. Virtuous to a fault.
Support: Farina, Fiora, Heath, Lyn, Sain, Wallace
Affinity: Anima
Starting Weapon Levels: Sword (D), Lance (E)
Recruiting: Joins automatically in Chapter 1. Rejoins in Chapter 15.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
85 40 50 45 20 25 25

Story:
Kent is a knight working for Caelin. He is sent with Sain to find Marquess
Caelin's granddaughter, who so happens to be Lyn. He is always serious, and his
"friendship" with Sain is very funny. He accompanies Lyn back to Caelin and
stays by her side for the rest of the game. He is her most reliable soldier,
but is there a deeper relationship going on here...?

Comment:
Kent and Sain are probably the two most overrated characters in the game.
Neither have really good stats, but still Kent is the best Cavalier/Paladin out
of the bunch. I was thinking about giving him a 5, but I guess Paladins do have
good movement ranges as well as a variety of weapons... Still, I recommend not
using Kent too often. Score: red knights 3, green knights 1 (I consider FE1 a
tie).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Legault
Class: Thief -> Assassin
Rating: 7/10
Game Description: A former Black Fang once known as Hurricane.
Support: Heath, Isadora, Jaffar, Matthew, Nino
Affinity: Ice
Starting Weapon Levels: Sword (C)
Recruiting: Have Eliwood or Lyn talk to him in Chapter 19.

Stats

Legault is a former member of the Black Fang, widely known as the "Hurricane".
He senses that the Black Fang is about to crumble, so he deserts it, looting
some stuff on his way out. When trying to escape, he confronts Eliwood's group
and decides to fight for them.

Comment:
Out of Matthew, Jaffar, and Legault, I like this guy the best. He gets
outstanding Speed and Luck, and his Defense is pretty freaking good for a
little Thief. Unfortunately, he suffers from low Strength, so I wouldn't make
him an Assassin. Then again, so does Matthew, so...

Louise
Class: Sniper
Rating: 2/10
Game Description: The wife of Marquess Reglay. A lethal beauty.
Support: Erk, Guy, Hawkeye, Heath, Pent, Rebecca, Sain
Affinity: Light
Starting Weapon Levels: Bow (A)
Recruiting: Joins automatically in Chapter 24.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
60 40 40 40 30 20 30

Story:
Louise is the wife of Pent and is a friend of Athos. She is a distant relative
of Queen Hellene in Bern, and it is thanks to her that the location of the
Shrine of Seals becomes known. She and her husband will eventually join you.

Comment:
Although her husband isn't too bad, Louise herself is quite useless. With
terrible HP and Defense, she will get killed very quickly. She also doesn't
deal a whole lot of damage. You have to be careful not too get her killed,
because if she leaves, then Pent does as well. I can't really think of anything
good to say about her; I guess she does have automatic A Support with Pent, as
well as slight above average Luck and Resistance...

Lowen
Class: Cavalier -> Paladin
Rating: 5/10
Game Description: A knight in service to house Pherae. A fresh recruit.
Support: Eliwood, Harken, Isadora, Marcus, Rebecca
Affinity: Fire
Starting Weapon Levels: Sword (D), Lance (D)
Recruiting: Joins automatically in Chapter 11.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
90 30 30 30 50 40 30

Story:
Lowen is just another Social Knight in Pherae. He is sort of Marcus' assistant.
Being a rookie soldier, Marcus often has to correct him when he makes mistakes
(which he does often, whether it's staying calm or cooking Eliwood breakfast).
Nothing much else to say about him.

Comment:
Feh, don't even bother. Kent and Sain are much better. Lowen might be a tank on
a horse, what with his extremely high HP and Defense, but he couldn't hit a
dragon with a Javelin from two yards away (probably cause HE CAN'T SEE PAST HIS
DAMN HAIR). Plus he's weak and a bad dodger. Man, you'd think Eliwood's
guardians would be good or something.

Lucius
Class: Monk -> Bishop
Rating: 7/10
Game Description: A traveling acolyte. Gentle and serene.
Support: Karel, Priscilla, Raven, Renault, Serra
Affinity: Light
Starting Weapon Levels: Light (D)
Recruiting: Joins automatically in Chapter 7. Rejoins in Chapter 16.

Stats
HP - S/M - SKL - SPD - LUK - DEF - RES
55 60 50 40 20 10 60

Story:
Lucius is a traveling acolyte who finds himself in Khathelet. When the Black
Fang are hunting Nils and fight Lyn, he joins Lyn's side. Eventually, while
he's with Raven in Caelin, Lord Darin conquers Caelin castle and holds both
Raven and Lucius prisoner. However, Eliwood and his group storms in and frees
them both, and they agree to fight with Eliwood.

Comment:
Lucius suffers from extremely low Defense, easily the lowest Defense in the
game. He (yeah, he's male) also has some very bad Luck. He is, though, very
resistant to magic and is very accurate with his attacks. If you're going to
use him, don't you dare put him in the front lines, or else his death is
guaranteed.
