Below are the cheat codes, hints and help for Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy Of Goku - Strategy Guide (Page 02).

Ki Blast- This is the first ability you learn.
          In fact, you start the game with this ability.
          Even though it's much weaker than punching, it's long-range.
          In some cases, such as snakes and squirrels, there is no other way 
to kill them then to use an attack like this.
          This simple Ki Blast also has the lowest energy cost.
          Every once in a while, Goku will fire a dud Ki Blast.
          It is very small and doesn't go very far at all.
          To avoid this, hold the B button down just a tad longer.

          There are two blast sizes, small and large.

Solar Flare- Freezes enemies temperarly.
             The longer it is held down, the longer the enemies are frozen.

Ka-Me-Ha-Me-Ha- Shoots a powerful beam.
                The longer it is held down, the more powerful it will be.

Squirrel-----------------5
You can't punch them, only shoot them.
Don't worry about damage, they can't do anything to you.
I find them annoying, so, thus, kill them.

Snake-------------------10
Again, you can't punch them, just shoot.
++They may be able to bite you, but I don't think it would do that much 
damage anyway.

Giant Crab-------------70
++The large crabs run up to you and claw you.
Shoot them to kill them before they get to you.

Blue Dog--------------70
++These guys are pretty fast.
They'll run up and bite you.
Even if you try to punch them, they can still bite you, making it almost 
impossible to get a punch in.

Pteradactyl------------300
++They aren't terribly powerful, but they can fly.
They will fly over an edge to either retreat, or get to you to attack.

Dinosaur---------------600
The first time you fight these guys, you'll think they have infinite health.
Just blasting them will barely do anything.
++They also have very powerful attacks.
These guys are extremely slow though, so running away is fairly easy.

Spirit--------------------1000
These guys look like clouds, but they are not.
I do not see rain coming down from them! They are spirits.
++They are fairly powerful, and have a good chunk of HP.

Robber-----------------1000
There are only three of them in the game, but that doesn't mean they are 
strong.
If you get to close to them and attack, they will shoot you.
They mostly retreat from you, so don't expect to stand in the middle of the 
road and have them come to you.

Namek Pteradactyl--2000
++Just like the normal Pteradactyl except they have more HP and are 
stronger.
Another noticeable difference is these are green.

Namek Dinosaur-----4000
++Again, just like the normal Dinosaur with except this one has more HP and 
is stronger.
Just the the Namek Pteradactyle, these dinos grow green.

Frieza Fiend-----------10000
When you first fight these fiends, they are very powerful.
++Three or four hits will kill you.
After killing a few, you'll gain a level.
When you're at a high enough level, you'll kill them with a single Ki Blast.

Delux Frieza Fiend---30000
Exactly like the Frieza Fiends, except these ones are enhanced.
++Stronger and more HP.
   But with 3x the exp. points of the Frieza Fiends, the battle is worth it.
