Dragon Ball: Advance Adventure - Strategy Guide (Page 04)

Below are the cheat codes, hints and help for Dragon Ball: Advance Adventure - Strategy Guide (Page 04).

Name: Wolf
Moves:
None, but his jump can cause some damage.
Can fly? NO
Good jumper? NO
Special notes: The weakest character of the game, and like the Red Ribbon
               Soldier you shouldn't use it.

Name: Flying Camera
Moves:
Shots -> press and hold R, the number of shots to the enemy on front of
            you depend on
the number of ki bars that you use.
Can fly? YES
Good jumper? NO
Special notes: Despite being able to fly all the time it isn't a very
good character, since its ki bar takes too long to charge
and it seems to have a really low defense.

Name: Ukelele
Moves:
   None.
Can fly? NO
Good jumper? NO
Special notes: His normal attack is quite quick and powerful, but is way
to move is strange (he gives small jumps from place to
               place) and boring.

CEB. Characters Moves for Battle Mode

Instead of disclosing the specific moves for each of the characters, I
will have a quick reference to all, since their are performed exactly
the same way for all of them.

- The blue protective aura can be performed by pressing Up + B when you
are about to be attack, this will completly nullify a physical attack.

- When you are blocking an attack or getting up, pressing L will make
you disappear and appear behind your opponent. I am not 100% sure of
it, but I heard that the name of this technique is Zanzouken.

- All the characters have 4 Ki attacks, each of them performed by
pressing and holding R. The more Ki bars you use, the better the attack
will be, and you can even change the direction of the attack by pressing
Up (only with some of them!), which would launch an attack diagonally
up in the direction you were currently facing.

-
Some (and ONLY SOME!) characters have a more powerful attack, which can
be performed by having 4 complete ki bars and then pressing L+R. Those
include Tenshinhan (who can perform it on air or on the ground),
 Juckie
(who can only perform it on the ground), Piccolo Daimao (who can only
perform it on the ground) and Son Goku (who can only perform it on the
  air).

PC. Patch Codes

Ok, I am gonna try putting here all the patch codes I can, in different
formats, hope you enjoy them!

-> Enable Codes

VBA Code: (isn't required)
COdebreaker: 0000C4D0 000A
             1010BFB0 0007

-> Play as anyone you want (Special thanks to Joseph Tek Fox)

VBA Code: 0202066A:XX
Codebreaker: 3202066A 00XX (be sure to enter the item mode and exit it
once, in order to debug it a little...)

Be sure to replace the XX with values from the chart below... And also,
not all the characters seem to work correctly (the color, special moves
and things like those...), so I am gonna say here about all of them, by
rating them in the way specified below:

100 % - the character is fully playable
50 % - wrong colors, has his specific powers
0 % - wrong colors, doesn't have specific powers

00: Gokou --- 100 %
01: Klylin --- 100 %
02: Yamucha --- 100 %
03: Bear thief --- 50 %
04: Lt. Metallic --- 50 %
05: Purple Ninja --- 50 % (glitchy)
06: Robot Pirate --- 50 %
07: General Blue --- 50 %
08: Pilaf in Short Mecha Suit --- 50% (glitchy)
09: Shuu in Tall Mecha Suit --- 50 %
0A: Advisor Black in Red Ribbon Battle Jacket --- 50 %
0B: Oolong transformed into the bat/rocket --- 50 % (glitchy)
0C: Akkuman --- 50 %
0D: Tamberine --- 50 %
0E: Drum --- 50 %
0F: Juckie Chun --- 50 %
10: Tenshinhan -- 50 %
11: Chaozu -- 50 %
12: Son Gohan -- 50 %
13: Piccolo Daimao -- 50 %
14: Taopaipai -- 50 %
15: Giran -- 0 %
16: Nam -- 0 %
17: Pteradon -- 0 % (really glitchy!)
18: Pig Bandit -- 0 %
19: Red Ribbon Army Soldier -- 50 %
1A: Wolf -- 0 %
1B: Small Sentry Robot -- 50 %
1C: Flying Sentry Camera -- 50 % (glitchy)
1D: Ukelele -- 0 %
1E,1F and so on : Errors, don't try that!

However, there are some other things that I must say about this type of
code... despite not being able to use their specific powers sometimes by
using these codes, you can do that by inputting the code that unlocks
everything, and by doing so you will even be able to access all their
powers. Nice thing, hum? (Special thanks to Ghost for this info)

codes be sure to contact me, as some people would sure enjoy those, and I
will credit you. Oh, and most of those codes were taken from the oficial
codebreaker site, which is availiable in .

FAQ. Frequently Asked Questions

Everything in this section will be put in this format:
Q(uestion): Your question here!
A(nswer): The Answer to the question here!
Hope you enjoy it, and maybe this is will help you with the
questions that you may have about this game!

Q: Where can I get this this game?

A: I won't help you with that, sorry!

Q: Where can I find item number [insert number here]?

A: Try the section "IT. Items List" of this faq... However, be aware that
some of the items can only be gotten in story mode, and others only in
   the extra mode.

Q: Hey, why are you calling that guy "Juckie Chun"?

A: That's the name that they give to him in this game, probably due to
   copyright reasons or someting...

Q: First you call the character X, now you are calling him Y. Why is that
   happening?

A: Well, when writing this faq sometimes I was sometimes writing late at
night (yep, and watching Conan O'Brian... X_X ), so I put the names I
usually use instead of the ones used by the game. This may happen more
times with Krillin, but other characters may have also been mistaked...

Q: Hey, I unlocked character XYZ for the Extra Mode! Can you put that on
   the faq?

A: Of course, as long as you tell me where you found his image... Also, be
sure to add the proper e-mail line (read the last section of this faq)
   when mailing me...

Q: I found the face for character X, how can I use him?

A: You can only "normally" use some characters, for the other ones you
will need to use the code to unlock everything. Why is this? No idea!

Q: How can I unlock Yamcha?

A: Try finishing Krillin's story.

Q: What do I get for completing the game in other difficulty modes?

A: Nothing.
