Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django - Strategy Guide (Page 02)
Below are the cheat codes, hints and help for Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django - Strategy Guide (Page 02).
NOTE2: The Books you should read are:
1. “Walking in the Wilderness”
“Words of the Last Dragon”
2. “Nightmare of the Abyss”
“Overheating: The Risk of Too Much Sun”
3. “Rules of a Gunslinger”
“Spiral Folklore”
4. “Curses and Purification”
“Doomsday Reincarnation”
Each of the books you check will ask a question, just choose the first option
for each and the gates will open. Also make sure you collect the Antidote from
the chest so you can heal yourself from any poison you may get then go through
the door.
Open the chest for another Antidote then follow the path to the elevator,
another puzzle room, below are the labels of the boxes for easy reference.
1 = The crate that started on the top.
2 = The crate on the far left
3 = The crate in the middle
4 = The crate on the far top/right
So here are the steps of how to do this puzzle:
1. Push crate 1 east so it falls to the ground.
2. Push crate 1 south so it hits the wall.
3. Destroy crate 3
4. Push crate 4 into the northern crevice behind it
5. Climb up and hit the southern switch
6. Destroy crate 2
7. Push crate 1 east once
8. Push crate 1 north into the crevice.
Now climb up the stairs and hit the switch, the gate will open, head south on
the path and open the chest for a Banana and Triangle Key, now go through the
eastern door.
GREEN ORB:
Equip the Spear and the Flame element, now go on the platform and hit each of
the candle racks so they light up. The platform will go all the way now.
Another box puzzle, move the box in front of you west once then north into the
hole. Now move the second box west four times, open the chest for a Solar Nut
and move the box all the way to the eastern wall and then move it again south
onto the switch. Go up the stairs and hit the switch and get the Green Orb
from the newly materialized chest.
Now go back to where you checked the Otenko Panel, light the candles and place
the Orbs in the holes. Now go right and open the door with your Triangle Key,
light the candles and place the final Orb in the hole. Some stairs will appear
in the entrance room of the Church (otherwise known as the Trap! room).
Go down the stairs and move the south-eastern box east once so you can go
through to the other box. If you want, you can check the Otenko Panel for
the Orb’s text. So move the northern-most box south once then go around and
move the western-most box east once and move the eastern-most box west once
so it makes a path to the Otenko Panel (check it of course). Now go all
the way back to the Church Entrance Room, go down the stairs and be prepared
for the Immortal fight.
=---------------------------\Boss Battle/--------------------------=
- 7.06 White Duneyrr the Sky-ruling Immortal -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 500
Attacks: Poison Spread (1), touch (13), Swoop (30)
At the start of the battle, equip your spear and attack it until it starts to
fly high. Now equip your hammer and hit the four switches around the room so
the lights turn on, the Moth will stop attacking and will instead be
fascinated by the bright lights of the candles, this is your best chance to
attack it and keep at it until it dies. Also watch out for the larvae that
spawn because they can get quite annoying.
=--------------------------/End Boss Battle\-----------------------=
When she is killed, she will be placed into a coffin, you have to drag this
coffin all the way to the centre of town. So head north dragging the coffin
and you will meet the San Miguel Blacksmith. When the conversation is over,
open the chest for a Card thing. Now take the coffin back a room then go
south, hit the Green Sol Holder to regain your health and use the Solar
Station to recharge your energy. Now drag the coffin up the stairs and take
into the north-west room.
Place the coffin on one of the switches, move the box onto another switch and
stand on the final switch to open the gate. Keep the coffin there and go
through the door. Tap on one of the walls to get the Bok's attention then open
the Purple Chest for a Circle Key then open the three Green Chests in the
north of the room for a Pounder, Quarter Staff and Dull Blade (there's also
another Banana in the corner). Equip them if you like then head back out to
the main room, drag the coffin and leave through the front door of the Church.
====================================================================
- 5.08 San Miguel -
====================================================================
Head south all the way until you get back to town in which Otenko will summon
a Pile Driver. Place the coffin in the center of the Pile Driver then hit each
of the Solar Sensors, Save and press A on the glowing white circle.
[ PURIFICATION ] ---------------------------------------------------
Use a sword or something quick with the Sol element on and continue hitting
one of the Solar Sensors if it gets turned off by the moth. Keep doing this
for a while and you should win.
--------------------------------------------------- [ PURIFICATION ]
After you finish the purification, a conversation between Django and Otenko
will occur and then the two will run south to see Lita looking at the Solar
Tree and another conversation will start.

In case you don't know, this is the dungeon next to the first Immortal
Dungeon. It is blocked off by a crate, which you can smash with the Hammer,
which can get obtain from the Immortal Dungeon.
As you enter head east to the next screen and follow the path killing the
spiders (the Hammer is the best to squash these arachnids). Open the Green
Chest for a Map and then open the other chest on the far right to get an
Antidote. Now head back to the room you entered in and take the northern door.
Head east to the next screen, kill the skeletons and go through the eastern
door. Head north to the next screen and you'll see an Otenko Panel and a
floating panel over a gap. If the panel is on the opposite ledge, cover your
Solar Sensor so no blocks of sunlight appear, this will make the platform come
to you, get on it then get some blocks of sunlight to make it take you to the
other side then go through the door.
DO NOT go onto the platform in this room, if you do you'll have to go back
around. Ignore the Purple Door and head north to the next screen. Kill the
Bats and open the chests for two Speed Nuts then go down the stairs in the
northwestern corner.
Go south to the next room, in here you can kill the enemies or you can go
straight to the next room. In this room, make sure you have at least one block
of sunlight so a Solar Platform can appear. Go over the platform and kill the
three Spiders to open the gate.
In the next couple of rooms are a different amount Klorofolun, count them and
go in the direction of the clock. Eg, If there are 3 Klorofolun go east. Or
better yet use the below map for easier reference.
/\ LEGEND
/ \ E = Entrance/Exit (You can restart at anytime)
/ \ 3 = If there are 3 Klorofolun go this way

When you get out of that puzzle you'll come to a large room with a Bok, make
sure you have at least one block of sunlight to accomplish this puzzle. With
sunlight several Solar Platforms will appear allowing you to get across the
room.
So run past the Bok and tap on the southern part of the block in the center of
the room to get its attention, then run over onto the switch and tap on the
wall next to the switch to get the Bok's attention once again, now hide next
to the door and wait for the Bok to walk past the Solar Platform then hide the
Solar Sensor from sunlight so it doesn't die from the skylight and wait for it
to go onto the switch to raise the gate.
In the next room, get the Square Key from the Purple Chest and go up the
stairs. Go south to the next screen and push the block into the hole then go
left and open the Purple Door with the Square Key.
Look on the ground and you'll see some skylights, follow the skylights to the
room it points to Eg. If the skylights head north go through the northern
door, if they point to the middle go through the middle door, etc.
Run past the Boks and go into the next room. Equip the Spear or Hammer and tap
on the southern wall to get the two Boks attention then kill them both so the
gate opens. Dodge the three skeletons that appear and go into the next room.
This rooms puzzle can change a lot if you don't pay attention. Each switch
represents a Bok on the other side of the room and each switch represents a
skylight. Wait until the Bok near you goes on a switch then you need to go
onto another switch so a skylight appears, watch carefully and you'll notice a
Bok will also start trembling, so hit the switch that is parallel with the Bok
and the gate will be raised (I hope that paragraph made sense, if not I could
probably make a map).
This room requires you to defeat each enemy, I suggest you kill the Klorofolun
first then the Skeleton and use the skylights to kill the two Boks. Go through
the door then go up the stairs. Once again go through the only door. This room
contains a simple puzzle. If you notice the skylights they make out to be a
large number. Kill a spider until the number is a big 0 then hit the switch
and go through the door.
Make sure you have at least one block of sunlight here so the Solar Platforms
appear, get the attention of the two skeletons and get them to step onto a
Solar Platform then hide the Solar Sensor from sunlight so they fall, then get
the Earthly Nut from the chest and go through the door.
In this room hide the Solar Sensor from sunlight so the platform comes to you,
then get on the platform and hit the two switches (the two rooms here contain
a piece of Meat and a Solar Nut). This may take a few tries to hit both
switches, so try and try again until you get it right.
The chest that is guarded by two skeletons contains a Solar Leaf, you don't
really need it though so you can go through the door to fight the boss.
=---------------------------\Boss Battle/--------------------------=
- 7.07 Two Golems -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 190
Attacks: Roll (27), Touch (17)
A fairly simple battle if you have good evasive skills, otherwise a bit
challenging. The easiest way to kill these golems is to run around and make
them crash into each other, do this about 5 or 6 times and they'll die. The
Hammer does the most damage so keep that it hand and use it against them when
they are dazed.
=--------------------------/End Boss Battle\-----------------------=
When the battle is over go through the next door and you'll see an old person,
after the cut scene open the chest for a Key then teleport out of the dungeon.
====================================================================
- 5.10 San Miguel -
====================================================================
Back in town head south all the way until you see the Blacksmith standing next
to a little girl, join in on the conversation by talking to the Blacksmith.
After the relatively short cut scene head to the town Inn and you'll see the
pink-haired girl asleep at the bar, talk to her and she'll give you the Ice
Element.
When the conversation finishes head east to the next screen, go east here and
smash the box then go down the long stairs and Otenko will say something, then
go through to the next screen.

+ Mini Boss(s): Seven Vampire Bats, Floating Sword, Two Yellow Slimes,
Four Golems, Axe
+ Boss: Cloaked Vampire
As you enter Otenko will stop you and say something, ignore this and head up
the stairs then either kill or avoid the bats here to get into the next room.
You'll enter a large room with two Clay Golems walking around, ignore them and
head west to the next room.
Recharge your energy if you have to, otherwise go up the stairs. Open the
chest for a Chocolate Bar then go east into a fight with some Bats.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.08 Seven Vampire Bats -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 40 (each)
Attacks: Touch (28)
Equip the Spear and Solar Element then wait until the Bats are close to you
and run south, you'll dodge all of the Bats, then about half-way around this
side, stop, turn around and attack them with your spear. Now run around again
until the Bats are pretty far away then stop, wait for them to get close and
attack. This method kills about 50-90% of the Bats each time, depending where
you aim. Also this method allows you to save all your Health for later if its
done right.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
Now head east and a yellow blob creature will fall down, attack it a few times
then run past it and the second blob thing, ignore the right pathway and go
through the door on the left. Push the block south then go back out and into
the door next to you.
The trick to this room is your Sunlight Blocks. The more blocks of sunlight
you have, the worse the wind is. The less blocks of sunlight make the wind
more subtle. No blocks of sunlight and there won't be any wind. So cover up
your Solar Sensor and keep it covered up.
Run past the flame jets then go onto the platform, strike the candle rack with
your Flame Element and your Spear (or another weapon, but the spear is needed
for the next 20 seconds or so). When the platform is moving, ready your Spear
and aim to the south-eastern corner and when you see a Candle Rack on another
platform strike it so it lights up. This will allow you to go to the next
walkway.
Dodge the flame jets and go into the next room. Another villager is here,
during the conversation he will give you the Frost Element and then leave.
Take the northern path to get the Map, now go south and go through the wind
cave once again to come back outside. This time take the right path and go
down the stairs.
Use the Frost Element to extinguish the flame and the little Flame Balls then
go through the door. Push the block in front of you into the crevice then
continue going west to the next door. Equip the Flame Element then kill the
Ice Balls and melt all of the Ice Blocks to get a Banana and a Chocolate Bar
then go through the door. Equip the Frost Element and hit the Floating Cube so
it freezes and falls to the ground then go through the door.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.09 Floating Sword -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 480
Attacks: Stab (36), Mini-Swords (31), Shadow Dance (36), Touch (36)
This is a fairly simple battle; I suggest you equip the sword with whatever
element you want, but don't use the element because it will just waste your
energy. So run around the room dodging the Sword's Stab attack then attack it.
When it summons up the mini-swords just stand back and keep slashing so when a
mini-sword flies at you, you will hit it back at the Big Sword doing 42 points
of damage each time!
When the sword draws upon two Shadow Swords, don't go near it, instead just
wait it over then keep attacking it with the above strategies.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
When the battle is over a Green Chest materializes containing a Blue Card. Now
go to the next room.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.10 Two Yellow Slimes -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 80
Attacks: Jump (5), Touch (5)
A really simple fight, as long as you don't attack the Blobs with any of your
weapons. Move the southern-most block west once then north so it squashes the
yellow Blob then move the northern-most block west once then north twice to
squash the other yellow blob.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
Now go through the door for another battle.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.11 Four Golems -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 120 (each)
Attacks: Roll (26), Touch (16)
Much like the previous Golem fight; dodge and make them crash into each other
then hit them with the Hammer when they are dazed. Just try not to get the
attention of too many Golems are else it will be harder for you.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
Now go through the door, push the stone block into the crevice and get the
Triangle Key from the Purple Chest and go through the door. Go through the
next door ignoring the stairs then ignore all of the enemies in this large
room and open the Purple Door with your Triangle Key. A cut scene will occur
about Sabata. When he asks you a question, choose the second option, otherwise
he will just repeat what he said.
When the conversation is finished go to the room on the right and go up the
stairs. Open the chest on the left for a Red Potion but ignore the chest to
the right of it because it's a fake chest. You can open the other two chests
for a Green Potion and a Solar Leaf. When you're done go through the door.
This room contains a cool looking puzzle with two blocks and two color
switches. Move either the red or blue blocks to the center of the room then
push it south four times so it's in the middle-left of the blank pathway. Now
go back up and push the other block onto its corresponding colored switch. Now
go back and push the other block north so it's in the center of the room once
again and push it onto its switch to open the gate.
The next room also has a puzzle. Firstly push the Stone Block into the
crevice, which reveals an Otenko Panel. Now Equip the Sword and the Cloud
Element (the one Sabata gave you). Go on the left of the Floating Cube and hit
it with your sword so it moves to the right once. Now equip the Spear with the
Dark Element and go south so you're under the Cube and hit it. This will make
it jump over the hole and go over the switch. Now equip the Frost Element and
hit the Cube so it freezes and lands on the switch.
In the next room equip the Dark Element and destroy the Stone Block to get the
Triangle Key. Now go back to the previous room and exit through the western
door. Run past the skeleton and go through the western doorway. Destroy the
Stone Block with the Dark Element and a weapon of your choice then exit. Make
sure you have at least one block of sunlight so the Solar Platform appears,
grab the Meat and Solar Nut from the chests then use the Triangle Key on the
door.
With as little as one block of sunlight all the Boks in this screen will die.
So run past the yellow blob and go through the south-eastern door. Push the
block down like you did before then go back to the previous room and go down
the stairs.
Go through the door here and push the Stone Block into the crevice then go
through the north-eastern door. A room filled with alarms. The best way to get
past these alarms and not to be alerted is to run against the wall so you only
step on the grey part of the alarm. You can get a Speed Nut and a Earthly Nut
from the chests then exit to the north (the room to the east contains some
Meat and a Solar Nut). Another puzzle room.
1. Move the RED Block north once
2. Move the RED Block west four times
3. Move the BLUE Block south once
4. Move the RED Block north once
5. Move the RED Block west once onto the switch.
6. Move the BLUE Block east three times.
7. Move the BLUE Block south once
8. Move the BLUE Block east once onto the switch.
9. Move the GREEN Block south once
10. Move the GREEN Block west three times
11. Move the GREEN Block south once
12. Move the PURPLE Block north once
13. Move the GREEN Block west once onto the switch.
14. Move the PURPLE Block east three times
15. Move the PURPLE Block north once
16. Move the PURPLE Block east once onto the switch.
When that's done go through the door. This room contains three Mummies, just
get their attention and go over the skylights and let the sunlight do its job.
On one of the skylights is a chest containing a piece of Meat, the other chest
contains a Green Nut. One of the Mummies will drop a random weapon, when
you're done go through the door.
The next room contains three Boks and a Clay Golem, tap on the wall next to
you to get the attention of the Boks, they'll all walk into the skylight and
be killed. Now walk down the stairs and run past the Golem into the next room.
You can kill the Boks in this room or just go to the next. Run past the mummy
and go up the stairs. This room has a few chests and Yellow Blobs. If you want
to get everything then follow these instructions:
1. Move the block closest to you three times to the east
2. Move the block north once
3. Move the block west twice
4. Move the block north twice into the crevice
5. Go up the stairs and push the block closest to you west into the hole
6. Now push the final block north twice
7. Push the block south three times
8. Push the block east three times
9. Now Push the block west five times
10. Push the block east once
11. Finally push the block north once to finish the pathway.
Now follow the path and get the Steak from the chest, then get the Lance from
the top of the plateau and get the Triangle Key from the Purple Chest. Now go
back to the previous room and get the attention of the mummy and get it to go
near the stairs. Now equip the Flame Element and hit the mummy so it bursts
into flames - it will run into the candle rack opening the gate.
Push the block into the hole and get the Earthly Nut from the chest. Now exit
east and head north, use the Triangle Key on the Purple Door.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.12 Axe -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 480
Attacks: Swing (31), Red Shadow (21), Jump (21), High Swing (31), Shadow Swing
(39), Split (0), Touch (11)
Another simple fight; I suggest you run around with the sword or a similar
weapon and attack it whenever you see the chance. Watch out for the Red Shadow
because it spins fairly quickly and can kill you pretty quickly.
When the Axe splits into two you should use a Speed Nut if you have one handy
to run around faster
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
When you defeat the Axe three chests will materialize. The two Green Chests
will contain a Blue Card and the Sol Enchantment. The Purple Chest contains
a Circle Key. So head out of the door and head south to the big room that you
first entered. In this room, dodge the enemies and head east back to the room
where Sabata was. Now dodge the enemies and head east to the next room and use
the Circle Key on the door.
You'll end up outside in a large desert area. So run down the stairs and
Otenko will say something, as usual, ignore this and press A on the well so a
timer will appear. This timer allows you to walk around the desert without
getting hurt from the heat. Head north to the next screen then head north
again and east once more.
You'll come to a large Oasis with a stone sticking out of the ground and a
well. Check the stone by pressing the A button on it then check the well
again. The objective of this area is to find three Stone Tablets and place
them onto the Stone Pillar. Below is a map and description of how to get each
tablet.
_______ LEGEND

NOTE: When you walk near a spot with the tablet, you should notice a small
golden glint. The glint only appears when you walk near a tablet.
REMEMBER: There are only three tablets in total you need.
- Screen 1
Description: A room containing two skulls and a Bok.
Tablet: Directly between the two skulls.
Thanks to Lou Cyphere for this tablet location.
- Screen 2
Description: A room containing a Bok and a Clay Golem.
Tablet: Just above the Clay Golem
Thanks to Julia Tam for this tablet location.
- Screen 3
Description: A room containing some Ice Klorofolun and four Cacti
Tablet: In the middle of the four cacti
- Screen 4
Description: A room containing some Ice Klorofolun and five Cacti
Tablet: Underneath the Cactus with the shadow
- Screen 5
Description: A room containing some Ice Klorofolun and two Cacti, one
with bats latched onto the cactus.
Tablet: Near/underneath the cactus with the bats
- Screen 6
Description: A room containing some Bats, a cactus and a crater
Tablet: Inside the crater
- Screen 7
Description: A room containing a Clay Golem and a Mimic Chest
Tablet: Just below the Mimic Chest
- Screen 8
Description: A room containing some Ice Klorofolun and fire balls
Tablet: Near/underneath the lone fire ball.
Once when you find your three tablets (it's random for everyone) head to the
oasis and check the Stone Pillar again, select the left option whenever it
asks to place the tablets on the Pillar. A large building rises up from the
oasis, enter it to continue.
Open the Green Chest for a Map then head east down the stairs to the next
room. Equip the Flame Element and the sword. Now light the lower right
candles, then the higher left candles, lower left candles and finally the
higher right candles. Some stairs will appear so go down them. Tap on one of
the blocks to get the Clay Golem's attention then run down the center path and
go through the door.
This room has four candle racks that are unreachable, you have to finish each
of the rooms that go from the main room to light them so the door opens. First
of all, lets do the north-western room first.
- North-Western Room:
Equip the sword and the Cloud Element (The purple one), so hit the floating
cube once so it goes north-west. Now equip the Flame Element and hit it, equip
the Cloud Element once again as well as the Spear. Go up behind the cube and
hit it so it goes south-east and lights the candles.
- North-Eastern Room
Equip the Cloud Element and Spear. Hit the cube closest to the Otenko Panel so
it goes east over the hole. Now hit the other cube east so it goes onto the
switch. Hit the other cube back over the hole then hit it north and west so it
goes over the switch. Equip the Frost Element and hit both cubes so they
freeze over onto the switches.
- South-Western Room
The objective of this room is to make all the switches red. This is really
simple so I don't think you would need a guide on how to do this. When the
gate opens, hit the switch and go back out.
- South-Eastern Room
A room with mostly wind. Hit the switch next to you then hold down the "Down"
button on the D-Pad then go up when you reach the path to the switch then go
onto the switch and head out of the room.
Go down the stairs through the door. Otenko will say something, when he's done
hit the Green Jewel so Life Flies come out, absorb them then enter through the
door (make sure you have full Sol Energy).
=---------------------------\Boss Battle/--------------------------=
- 7.13 Cloaked Vampire -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 640
Attacks: Sword Summon (20), Sol Blast (20), Tri-Sword (20), Swipe (20)
As you enter there will be a short scene between Django, the vampire and
Sabata. When this is over, head straight for the vampire, equip the Sol
Element along with your sword and attack him once or twice.
Watch where the vampire goes and if he goes into a corner, choose the
Explosives Element and place it in the corner nearest to him. When he
goes over it, it should explode dealing a lot of damage and getting rid
of a few swords. - Thanks to Lou Cyphere for that tip.
After doing that stand back on one of the sides, do NOT go near Sabata
and change your weapon to your fists then keep tapping the B Button -
doing this will block all of the incoming swords so you don’t lose
any health.
The vampire will then go near Sabata and summon several swords, to counter
this attack you should equip the sword yourself and hit each of the swords as
they appear so they won’t even have a chance to hit Sabata.
In a matter of time, Sabata’s Gun De Hel would have generated a large dark
ball and the Vampire will eventually freeze when it grows to a certain size.
When he freezes hit him a few times with your sword then equip the Sol Element
and the sword and slice at him about 5 times while he’s in the dark ball.
He also will at times do his swipe attack, you’ll know because he retracts and
then attacks by surprise, just run around not too close to him and you should
be fine.
Repeat this strategy until he is defeated.
=--------------------------/End Boss Battle\-----------------------=
After the battle the vampire will bite Django and run off. Django has been
badly injured and the bite has just made him worse, so Sabata must now take
care of Django and return him to San Miguel. In other words, you now play as
Sabata!
NOTE: If you have the sensor in the sunlight I suggest you hide it from the
light, otherwise Sabata will be taking 1 damage every step.
Now you should notice that there is a LIFE bar at the top right hand corner,
that is how much health Django has remaining, so don’t waste it! There’s
nothing of importance to Sabata in the room to the north, so take the coffin
and head back out the way you came; south.
Drag the coffin all the way up the stairs and continue walking. You should see
a skylight, Sabata is the dark child so he doesn’t like the light very much -
so if you do see the skylight, hide your sensor from the sunlight and continue
on through to the next room.
In the next room, take either the left or right path to dodge the Clay Golem
and go up the stairs. Continue through this room to the above floor. You can’t
use the warp portal here so we’ll have to trek across the desert with the
coffin.
When you get back to the desert, let go of the coffin for a moment and take a
drink from the well so you won’t be hurt by the deserts heat, with that done,
you should take the coffin and go left from the entrance then south and follow
the edge of the desert back to the desert ruins, this way you don’t get
attacked by enemies.
Once inside the ruins, go through to the next door, run past the enemies with
the coffin and you’ll end up back into the main foyer of the ruins. This room
contains several Clay Golems so to avoid them, from the door, head south past
the Golem walking next you then head west and exit via the main entrance.
Back outside, do your best to avoid the Bats out here and go down the stairs
then west to exit the dungeon. Head up the stairs and exit through the western
door so you are back into town.

As you enter another scene will occur. At the end you’ll be at the town Pile
Driver. Talk to Lita twice and she will give you the Sunscreen.
Using your Gun De Hel, hit each of the Solar Sensors then go into your items
menu and use the Sunscreen - this will protect you from the sunlight. Speaking
of which, if you still have your Sensor hidden from the sunlight, it’s time to
take in the light.
[ PURIFICATION ] ---------------------------------------------------
Django will turn into a purple puff of smoke, his main abilities are to turn
off the sensors and existing. When Django is latched onto one of the sensors,
go up to it and blast it a few times so he will let go. If the sensor is shut
off, just hit it a couple of times until it turns back on.
If the Purification lasts longer than the Sunscreen, I suggest you try again -
it’s not worth losing your health for.
--------------------------------------------------- [ PURIFICATION ]
After the battle another scene will be displayed. Sabata has fallen ill and is
now in bed, Django is now Black Django and his new abilities. So you can head
up the stairs and see Sabata, or not. Either way, lets explore Black Django.
Apart from the obvious look, Black Django has several new techniques;
unfortunately you can’t use Django’s old techniques.
- Black Django can go inside a custom coffin and rest there, this
allows you to recover your energy.
- He can also turn into a Bat, this allows him to fly around places
Django usually wouldn’t be able to go.
- Django can transform into a mouse, this allows him to go into
small niches and such.
- Lastly, Django transform into a wolf-man. Alone, Django howls, but with a
enemy near Django, Django will transform and attack the enemy. Thanks to
Lou Cyphere for telling me what it did.
Since Django was bitten by a vampire, running around in the sunlight will also
hurt him. So you can stock up on Sunscreen if you like. So that should cover
all of the basics.
Now head out of the Inn if you haven’t done so already and head east one
screen to the area with the entrance to the Desert Ruins. Here head north
towards the crate then switch your weapon to the Hammer and destroy it. Now
change your element to the Dark element and permanently kill the Vine and head
north to the next screen.
Go around on the right, kill any Yellow Blobs if you need to and head through
to the next Immortal Dungeon.

As Django enters he will notice Kuro, the Black Cat. So follow Kuro to the
next room. Open the chest for a bottle of Sunscreen and go through the next
door. Ignore the Hound here and go through the north-western exit.
Go around the edge of the room by following the left wall, quickly run past
the Hive or else you’ll have to deal with several bees. When you come to a
dead end, press up against the wall and go past the rocks. Head through the
next room ignoring the Bok’s along the way.
