018 Two Player Games
----------------------

In the Playstation 2 version of the Sims there are a number of fun two player
games.

018.1 - How to unlock them
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -

1. Museum- Borrow $800 from mum. (Money from mum)
2. Frat House- Move in with Dudley or Mimi. (Reality Bites)
3. Taylor's Place - Throw a raging party. (Party Animals)
4. Park- Greet and feed Bobo. (Party Animals, Hot to Trot and Who loves ya
Baby) Also get promoted to level 10. (The Last Simolen)
5. Club Abih- Throw a raging party (Hot to Trot)
6. Maids House- Get promoted to level eight. (Who Loves Ya Baby)
7. Handyman's House- Get promoted to level eight. (Who Loves Ya Baby)

018.2 - What you do in each one
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Museum- In this game you have to squeeze more money out of the inspectors
than the other player in 10:00 minutes. The best thing to do is to get the
inspector to fall in love with you, then ask for the money otherwise they
won't give it to you and not like you as much.

Frat house- Be the first to make three friends in a party use your
relationship building skills to do this. But it isn't that simple you can
spared rumours abut the other player to people and if they believe them they
will stay away from them. You have to be friends with them first though or
they won't believe. Get three friends and you're off to the hot tub.

Taylor's Place - How many people can you make fall in love with you in ten
minutes? However many make sure that it is more then the other player. This
one is similar to "Frat House" but you have to fall in love not just make
friends and there is no rumour spreading. Shame. Be careful though a person
won't fall in love with both players at the same time.

Club Abih- How many people can you make fall in love with you in ten minutes?
However many, make sure that it is more then the other player. This one is
similar to "Frat House" but you have to fall in love not just make friends and
there is no rumour spreading. Shame. Be careful though a person won't fall in
love with both players at the same time.

The Maid's House- Tidy up the maid's house the side that is cleanest when the
maid get there wins a heart and if you keep her kid happy she might give you
some more. However there is a catch every-so-often a "messy neighbour" will
come along and mess the place up a bit. Just keep the place as tidy as you can
and as long as it is tidier then the other players half then you get the heart.

The Handyman's House- Tidy up the handyman's house the side that is cleanest
when the handyman get there wins a heart and if you keep his kid happy he
might give you some more. However there is a catch every-so-often a "messy
neighbour" will come along and mess the place up a bit. Just keep the place as
tidy as you can and as long as it is tidier then the other players half then
you get the heart.

The Park- In this one you need to fill yorself up on food. There are three
ways to get this food they are:
Grill your own- but when you do this eveyone cones and nicks it and you don't
                have much for yourself.
Beg for food- you have to get a good relasinship to do this or they will
refuse to give it to you.
Steal food- you can go up to any one and steal it but be carfull because
sometimes they turn around and steal it off you.

They get a bit boring after a while especially as Taylor's Place and Club Abih
are the same. And The Maid's House and The Handyman's House are the same!

019 - House Building
---------------------

This is the thing that your Sim will live in so it needs to be good.

019.1 Hints and Tips
- - - - - - - - - -

Sims like big houses with lots of windows, your Sims are thick so they need
everything placed so they can get at them real easy.

~ It is best not to make your house too big because it is surprising how much
time is taken moving around a big house. (However good it looks)

~ When Building make sure every room is easily accessible other wise your Sim
will be in a very bad mood if they can't get to something.

~ When building a house remember how many it is for. The best no. that I find
is:
1 Sim:
  1 Bedroom
  1 Bathroom
  1 kitchen
  1 Living area
  1 Study (Exerciser, bookcase etc)

2 Sims:
  1 Bedroom
  1 Bathroom
  1 kitchen
  1 Living area
  1 Study (Exerciser, bookcase etc)
  1 Dining room

3 Sims:
  2 Bedrooms
  2 Bathrooms
  1 Kitchen
  1 Living area
  2 Study (Exerciser, bookcase etc)
  1 Dining room
  1 Outside area

4 Sims:

  3 Bedrooms
  2 Bathrooms
1 Big kitchen 1 small kitchen
  1 Big living area
  2 Study (Exerciser, bookcase etc)
  1 Dining room
  1 Outside area

019.2 - Dos and Don'ts
- - - - - - - - - - - -

Do:
Have lots of windows
Have big rooms
Have a lot of items

Don't:
Have dead plants outside
Have too much rubbish on the floor
Have too many rooms.
Have rooms inside rooms:

               | | | | ---- Horizontal Wall

               | | | | |
               | | x | | | Vertical Wall
               | | | |
               | |-------| | X the room you shouldn't have
               | | | |
               -----------------------

X: You shouldn't have this room because it is totally surrounded by other
rooms so no natural light can get in and your Sim won't like this. Their
room meter will be constantly down.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TO MAKE SENSE OF THE DIEAGRAMS LOOK AT THE KEY.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Here I will list what I think is the minimum you should have in your house
for different budgets.

$20,000 Budget
- - - - - - -

Bedroom-
All you need in a bedroom is a bed to start off with. This meaning you can get
a good one.

Bathroom-
A toilet- the cheap one.
A bath/shower- Again a cheap one. Probably bet to start off with a shower.
A sink- only buy this if you can afford it.

Living area-
A sofa-
A TV- The $500 one not the very cheap one.

Kitchen-
3-4 worktops- The NuMica one.
A sink- to wash the pots in.
A fridge- the cheapest one for now.
A microwave- if you can afford a cooker buy one otherwise a microwave will do
fine, for now.
A bin- it saves time.

Study (or just put these in the living room)
An easel
A mirror
A bookcase
An exercise machine- if you can afford it, if not wait a few days.

 |----------------------| This is a crappy diagram of what the first
 | | \ | house I made looked like.
 | Be | / |
 | | Li \ Ki | Key
 |-------| / | --- & |
 | Ba | \ | | = walls
 | | / |
 |----------------------| \
                             /
\ = not a wall but where the area separates.

                             Be= Bedroom
                             Ba= Bathroom

                             ki= Kitchen

It may be small but it does the job and you won't be able afford anything
better anyway with $20,000.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Note if you have any kids or more than two adults add an extra bedroom.

019.4 - Other Good/fun Designs

Here I will show other good house designs. If you have any more then E-mail
them to me and I will put them in (of course any thing that you do send in the
credit will go 100% to you.)

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Note: These are only the basics of the house so they still are good if you add
to them.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

1. Plain corridor

|-------|-|--------| Key
| Ba | | Ki | -----
| | | | Ba= Bathroom
|-------| |--------| Be1= Bedroom one
| Be1 | | St | Li= Living room
| |C| | Ki= Kitchen
|-------| |--------| St= Study
| | | | Be2= Bedroom two
| Li | | Be2 | C= Corridor
| | | |
|-------|-|--------|

This design is really basic but it is good because every room is easy to get
to. If you don't have enough room with this you can add to it like this:

|-------|-|--------|-|------|
| | | | | |
| | | | | |
|-------| |--------|-|------|
| | | | | |
| | | | | |
|-------| |--------| |------|
| | | | | |
| | | | | |
| | | | | |

2. Like a Donut!

This house is for the rich Sim only. It cost me nealy $90,000.

|----------|----------|
| Be | Ba |
| | | Key
|----|-----|----|-----| -----
| | Swimming | | Ba= Bathroom
| | pool | | Li= Livng room
| Li | | St | St= Study
| | | | Be= Bedroom
|----|-----|----|-----| Ki= Kitchen
| | | Di= Dining room
| Ki | Di |
|----------|----------|

I know befor i said don't put rooms in rooms but this one works because it is
a swimming pool in the middle and they don't go in there much plus it makes
the house look cool. The only thing that you have to watch out for when making
this house is the furnish meter.
To make mine I did:

Put a swimming pool in the middle
Then built a wall two squares away from the edge of the pool all the way
around the pool.
After that I put another wall around the wall I just built but this time it
was five away all the way around.
Split it into rooms
And furnished it.

3. Letters

Stupid as it may seem you can make a house in the shape of loads of letters!
I did one in a 'J' for Josh (my name)

                        |-----|----------|
                        | Ba | Li | Key
                        | | | -----
                        |-----|----|-----| Ba= Bathroom
                              | | Li= living room
                              | Ki | Ki= Kitchen
                              | | Di/St= Dining room and/or a study
                              | |
                        |-----|----|
                        | Di/St |
                        | |
                        |----------|

You can do it with nearly any letter and when you've finished it looks brill.
