I learned about this game by coincidence on a board that had nothing to do
with the game, and being an avid platformer fan, I checked up the game and
instantly knew that I was going to buy it, even before knowing that its price
was so cheap. Well, it turned out that this game was well worth the money I
spent for it, and although it's a fairly short game, it can be challenging and
above all, it's a fun game like I haven't played in a while. To think I could
have missed this great platformer if I hasn't been on that board on that day..
Few people knows about this game, but if you enjoy platformers, I urge you to
try out this game, and I hope my walkthrough will help you complete it.

Climbing
=========
Sink your claws into select vertical surfaces and climb to new areas.
Camouflage
===========
Once you've acquired this ability, you can sneak by deadly traps and confuse
your enemies.
Vine Riding
============
Surf the vines to gain access to new areas. You can also use the vines to
charge up your electric bomb attack.
Tongue Attack
==============
Use his tongue to take out minor enemies and to stun the stronger ones.
Claw Attack
============
Use his claws for heavy duty combat. Start with the simple claw attack,
upgrade for more powerful claw attacks, and eventually master the ultimate
claw attack. You can also combine this with a jump for the claw dash attack.
Electric Bomb Attack
=====================
Use the electric bomb to break open cocoons, take out minor enemies, and stun
the stronger ones. This attack explodes out from Scaler and affects everything
within its radius.

LEVEL 1 -------------
*********** a) Chimerum ******************************************************
-------------
From the starting point, go straight and jump on the vine. While on it, jump
to avoid the spikes. Then, keep going straight and jump over the stepy stones
to reach the other side. Don't take too much time as they fall after a while.
Go on until you reach a low cliff. Climb it up, then jump on the green pad on
the ground and you'll notice that some purple plants around will open,
revealing items. After jumping on the green pad, hurry to the left before the
plants close and quickly grab your first CRYSTAL GEM (1/10) in the plant at
the left.
Then, keep climbing up and kill the enemy here. Go right and grab your second
CRYSTAL GEM (2/10). Then, go down and jump on the stepy stones to reach the
other side. Don't forget to grab the CRYSTAL GEM (3/10) at the right. Go
straight and you'll meet Leon. Then, jump on the vine and you'll see another
vine at the left. Switch to this one and you'll land on a small cliff with a
CRYSTAL GEM (4/10).
Go back on the vine and stay on it until the end. Then, use the double jump
to jump on the platforms and reach the other side. Break the cocoons at the
right to find a CRYSTAL GEM (5/10). Keep going and you'll see a flying lizard.
After talking to Leon, jump on the vine behind to reach the next area. Go
straight and double jump to reach the top. Jump on the other vine here to
reach yet another area. Keep climbing up until you reach the top. Once you've
reached the top, after double jumping over the large gap at the end, turn
around to see a CRYSTAL GEM (6/10) floating in the air. Use the double jump
to reach it.
Carry on and jump on the vine at the end to reach the next area. Exit the
cave to end up in a more open area. Start by going left and climb to the top
of the cliff. Jump on the green pad here to open the purple plants and
quickly go back down the cliff before the plants close. Hurry to the plant
with the CRYSTAL GEM (7/10) and grab it. Then, go straight and jump on one of
the moving platforms. Try jumping on the one with the stepy stones next to it
so you can use them to reach the large platform in the center of the moving
ones. There's a CRYSTAL GEM (8/10) on it.
Then, jump back on the moving platform and jump to the area with a cave when
you pass next to it. At the end of the cave is another CRYSTAL GEM (9/10). Go
back on the moving platformers and jump to the area on the other side. Climb
up to the area above and defeat all the enemies that show up. Then, go on and
enter the cave. Defeat all the enemies on the other side. Now, carry on and
go left to see stepy stones by the wall at the left. Jump on them to reach
the small area on the other side and defeat the enemy here. Then, break the
cocoon in the center to collect the last CRYSTAL GEM (10/10).
Then, go back to the previous area and climb up the cliff to find the EGG and
teleport back to Leon. Talk to Leon and visit the shop to buy upgrades with
the Klokkies you collected, then leave the level and enter the next one on the
world map.

Crystal Gem 7: After the cave, go left and press the pad at the top to open
the plants, one contains it.

Crystal Gem 9: At the end of the cave.
Crystal Gem 10: Before climbing up to the Egg at the end, go left and jump on
the stepy stones to reach another area with a cocoon containing it.
LEVEL 2 ------------
*********** b) Bakuldo *******************************************************
------------
At the start, go in the left path and jump on the vine. Try to collect static
electricity while you're on the vine so you can charge up a bomb. When you see
the spikes on the vine, jump over them and grab the first CRYSTAL GEM (1/10)
in the air. Then, when you get off the vine, you'll see a metallic shell
nearby. Blow it open using the Electric Bomb attack for the second
CRYSTAL GEM (2/10).
Then, go back to the start and go in the right path and jump on the vine at
the right to enter the Bakuldan territory. Avoid the obstacles on the vine to
reach it. Here, kill your first Bakuldan. You'll need to kill eight. Go on
and defeat the second Bakuldan a little further on. Continue and defeat the
two other Bakuldans here. Jump up and kill the fifth one. Then, enter the
cave and go left for the sixth Bakuldan. There should be a metallic shell
here, also. Break it open using the Electric Bomb attack or come back here
when you have the Bakuldan transformation and throw a bomb on it to find a
CRYSTAL GEM (3/10) inside. Then, go a little further into the cave for the
seventh Bakuldan. Then, go to the end of the cave and kill the last one. You
can now transform into a Bakuldan.
First thing, spot the worm nearby and throw a bomb at its mouth while in your
Bakuldan form. Blow it up to reveal an alcove behind with a CRYSTAL GEM (4/10)
inside. Then, go right and you'll see a force field blocking your way. Place
down a bomb next to the emitter to blow it up and bring down the force field.
Then stand in the blue teleporter to be brought back at the entrance.
Go in the right path again and transform into a Bakuldan. Throw a bomb into
the hole in the boulder blocking the way straight ahead to blow it up and
clear the path. Go straight ahead and keep going straight until you reach
another force field. Take it down by blowing up the emitter, then turn back
into Scaler and jump on the cliff above. Go straight and you'll come to a
higher cliff. Transform into the Bakuldan and throw a bomb in the flower bulb
nearby, then jump on the pad to go up to the top of the cliff.
Carry on and defeat all the enemies ahead. Then you'll see another force
field. Put down a bomb between the two emitters to blow both of them and the
force field will go down. Jump on the stepy stones at the left to reach
another force field. Put down a bomb between the two emitters to take down the
force field. Continue straight and break the metallic shell here with a bomb
to find a CRYSTAL GEM (5/10) inside.
Then, blow up the boulder here too by throwing a bomb in the hole. Enter the
cave and jump down to the next boulder. Blow it up, then go outside and jump
on the stones to reach the other side. Blow up the boulder here too and go in
the cave. Defeat the enemies here, then blow up the other boulder blocking the
way and go out of the cave. Go straight and defeat the enemies to get a
CRYSTAL GEM (6/10).
Continue straight and traverse the cave. Outside, go down and throw a bomb in
the flower bulb, then jump on the pad to go up to the top of the cliff. Defeat
the enemies here, then use the other flower to reach the cliff above. Enter
the cave here and blow up the explosive mushrooms in your way with bombs.
Cross the ledge to reach the other side and jump on the vine. You'll land in
another cave. Go to the end of the cave and blow up the boulder in your way,
then go out to find a force field. Put down a bomb between the six emitters
and wait until it explodes to take down the force field.
Go straight and defeat all the small enemies. Then, you'll face a Dragon War
Beast. Avoid his first attack, then when he uses his punch attack, jump to
avoid it and hit him while his fist is stuck in the ground. Repeat the process
until he's defeated and grab the CRYSTAL GEM (7/10) at the end of the fight.
Then, blow up the boulder ahead and go outside. Jump on the platforms to reach
the other side and go straight ahead for the EGG at the end.
Back at the entrance, go in the right path again and this time, jump on the
left vine. Once on the ground, climb up the path to the top. Once there,
before going on the next path, jump on the small cliff at the left of the path
behind you to find a metallic shell. Break it open with a Bakudan bomb and
you'll find a CRYSTAL GEM (8/10) inside. Then, climb down the next path.
Defeat the enemies at the bottom of the path and start climbing up the next
path ahead. Avoid the slimes and once you reach the end, throw a Bakudan
bomb in the worm's mouth to blow it up and reveal a CRYSTAL GEM (9/10) in
the alcove behind. Then, climb to the top using the double jump and go on the
path with the slimes. At the end, defeat the enemy and grab the last CRYSTAL
GEM (10/10). Then, double jump to reach the platform with the EGG. Talk to
Leon and exit the level. Enter the next one on the world map.

BOSS ----------------
*********** c) Iguana King ***************************************************
----------------
For the first boss of the game, you'll need to transform into your Bakuldan
form. First, you'll need to bring down the force field around Iguana King. Put
down a bomb near one of the emitters and hit it to make it explode (Bakuldans
don't take damage from the bombs they set). Then, put down a bomb next to the
second emitter and make it explode to take down the force field. Then, throw
bombs at Iguana King during that time and avoid his earthquake attacks.
Now there are four emitters. You'll have to blow up all emitters pretty fast
or they will keep on reappearing. Either place a bomb near each and hit it to
make it explode quicker or try to have the enemies hit the bomb to make it
explode. Either way you choose, quickly set the bombs and blow up all the
emitters to take down the force field. This time, Iguana King will chase you
around. Try to stay away from him and throw him bomb when you have the chance.
The force field will then be back and the emitters are now scattered around
the area making it trickier to take down the force field. Plus, Iguana King
will attack with his earthquake attacks and the small enemies will also come
after you. Do the same as you did previously, put down a bomb near each
emitter and let the earthquake or small enemies hit it to make it explode
faster. Blow up all the emitter to bring down the force field and throw bombs
at Iguana King until he is defeated.
LEVEL 3 ------------
*********** d) Klonium *******************************************************
------------
At the start of this level, go straight and jump over the stepy stones, then
go left to the area below and kill all the spiders. Then, jump on the green
pad on the ground and run to the last purple plant before it closes and grab
the CRYSTAL GEM (1/10) inside. Then, go up and defeat all the enemies here.
You'll need to take down five Krocks total in this level before gaining the
new transformation. After defeating the two Krocks here, continue and jump on
the other green pad here to open the plants and grab the CRSTAL GEM (2/10)
inside the plant at the left.
Then, climb up the wall and go to the far right. Jump on the green pad here
to open the purple plants and quickly run to the far left to grab the CRYSTAL
GEM (3/10) inside the plant before it closes. If you have difficulty getting
to it in time, come back here later when you have the Krock transformation
and roll to the plant instead.
Then, enter the cave ahead and jump on the floating platform, then on the
platform in the center and defeat all the enemies. Leave the cave then and
go straight. Jump on the spinning platforms to cross to the other side. Keep
going on and you'll come across two more Krocks. Defeat them, then go on and
jump on the stepy stones and platforms to reach the other side. You'll need
to fight the last Krock here. You can now transform into a Krock.
Go straight and grab the CRYSTAL GEM (4/10). Then, get in the slide in your
Krock form and jump over the gaps until you reach the end. You'll end up in
a Cannon Flower. Launch yourself on the island at the right. Then, go in the
slide here and press the turbo button to go up (check options - controls in
the menu), then jump over the gap and you'll land in a new area. Here, go in
the tunnel at the left and avoid the holes. Jump over the gap at the end and
grab the CRYSTAL GEM (5/10) at the left of the slide.
Then, go in the slide to reach the next area. Here, climb up the wall in your
normal form to reach the top and go at the end of the passage. Jump on the
vine here to the next area. Jump on the stepy stones to reach the other side
and go straight, then right to see a metallic shell. Use an Electric Bomb to
blow it open (you get Electric Bombs from the static electricity you gather
while on vines) to reveal a CRYSTAL GEM (6/10) inside. Then, go up and in the
slide. Use the turbo button and the jump button to leap over the gaps and at
the end you'll find an EGG.
Back at the start of the level, go back to the Cannon Flower and this time,
launch yourself on the island at the left. There's a CRYSTAL GEM (7/10) right
here. Then, go in the slide to reach the next area. Here, go in the Cannon
Flower at the right. You'll need to pass through the doors under the time
limit. Then, go in the other Cannon Flower and do the same as before, only
now the path is longer and harder.
At the end of the path, jump on the cliff above and press the green pad on
the ground to open the purple plants. Backtrack and follow the trail of
lianas on the ground until you reach the last plant and quickly grab the
CRYSTAL GEM (8/10) inside the plant before it closes. Then, go back to the
end and jump on the vine to reach the next area. Here, jump in the Cannon
Flower.
While in the course, the path will split in three ways near the end. Go in
the path of mud at the right of the main path and at the end you'll find a
CRYSTAL GEM (9/10). Then, get back on the main path and reach the end before
the timer hits zero. At the end, break the metallic shell with an Electric
Bomb and grab the last CRYSTAL GEM (10/10) inside, then pick up the EGG.

Crystal Gem 9: Near the end of the last timed course, in a small mud path at
the right of the main path.
Crystal Gem 10: At the end of the track, in a shell next to the Egg.
LEVEL 4 ----------

First, talk to Leon and go in the shop to buy the Camouflage. Now, jump on
the vine nearby and jump over the obstacles until you reach the end. Then,
transform into the Bakudan and kill the huge enemy. Then go straight and jump
on the green pad to make platforms appear. Jump on the platforms to reach the
other side and go straight. Kill the enemies here, then jump on the other
platforms to reach the other side. Use the Bakudan to defeat the big enemy
here, then go straight and jump on the green pad to make new platforms appear.
Now, turn around and backtrack a bit to see other platforms that weren't there
before. Jump on them to reach a small area with a force field. Use the double
jump to land on a small area at the right with the emitter. There's also a
metallic shell here, so throw a bomb at it to blow it up and reveal a CRYSTAL
GEM (1/10). Then, blow up the emitter to bring down the force field. Go back
in the area where the force field was and grab the CRYSTAL GEM (2/10) in the
shell behind.
Go back to the previous area where you pressed the green pad and jump on the
platforms that appeared at the right. Reach the top platform to collect a
CRSYTAL GEM (3/10). Then, jump to the next area. Use the double jump to reach
the low cliff above and climb up the wall. Defeat all the enemies in the next
area and put down a bomb near one of the emitters to blow it up. Then quickly
do the same with the two other emitters to bring down the force field.
Now that the force field is down, go on and press the green pad to make other
platforms appear at the left. Jump on these platforms to reach the next area
and defeat all the enemies here. Then, press the green pad to make platforms
appear again. Reach the other side and grab the EGG.
Back at the entrance, go straight and use the camouflage ability to sneak past
the Trapper. Jump on the vine to reach the next area. As soon as you land in
this new area, transform into the Bakudan and drop down below. Throw a bomb at
the wall on your left to blow it up, revealing an alcove behind with a CRYSTAL
GEM (4/10) in. Then, follow the path and defeat the enemies along the way,
while using your camouflage ability to sneak past the Trappers. At the end of
the path, transform into the Bakudan and throw a bomb at the wall blocking
your way to blow it up. Use the camouflage again to sneak past the Trapper and
continue straight ahead.
Defeat the enemies here with bombs and throw a bomb in the worm's mouth at the
right to blow it up and reveal a passage leading to a CRYSTAL GEM (5/10). Then
turn back and go straight. Jump on the vine to reach the next area. Here, use
the camouflage to reach the next safe spot of ground. Transform into the
Bakudan and throw a bomb at the right to hit the metallic shell in the corner
at the right. Use the camouflage to go and get the CRSYTAL GEM (6/10) after
blowing up the shell.
Go back to the safe spot and throw a bomb at the left to blow up the rock wall
blocking the way. Use the camouflage to cross to the other side now that the
wall's gone. Defeat the enemy here with the Bakudan, then throw a bomb at the
rock wall straight ahead to reveal a secret alcove behind. Jump inside and
throw a bomb at the shell to get a CRYSTAL GEM (7/10).
Go back outside and throw a bomb to the wall at the right (left if you're
coming from the alcove) to reveal a new area behind. Use the camouflage to
reach the safe spot, then throw a Bakudan bomb at the enemy on your left and
use the camouflage to reach the spot where that enemy was. Throw a bomb at the
metallic shell in the corner and grab the CRYSTAL GEM (8/10).
Then, go back to the previous spot and throw a bomb in the worm's mouth in
front of you to blow it up. Go through where the worm was to access a new
area. Go straight and jump on the cliff, then press the pad to make platforms
appear on both sides. Jump on the platforms at the right and reach the top
one with a CRYSTAL GEM (9/10) on.
