preliminary attack, the diamond will still be used. Any attack performed with
the Diamond will be super powerful

Running Shoes: You become much faster, but your defense drops

Sword: You become stronger but are unable to block. You can however use moves
that require R1 (Guard Dash and Long Range moves)

Shield: Defense goes up, speed goes down

Grass: Only in Fusha Village. Does very little damage when thrown

Snowball: Only in Drum Castle. Freezes opponent but melts quickly

(sec701) CHARACTER STRATEGIES

Luffy
------

Front Attacks
--------------

The best way to use Luffy is to make sure you stay varied. Even though the Rapid
Fire combo looks cool and seems powerful overusing it and can you in real
trouble as if it is dodged you'd be nearly opened for anything.Try to make use
of Luffy's Pinwheel as it hits all around him making those who try to rush in
get punished.

Double barrel can be charged but it's really not worth the high risk of getting
creamed while performing it.

Up Attacks
-----------

His up attacks are ok. He's not really an areial fighter. His Gum gum quake is
in my opinion is one of his worst moves as it leaves you wide open if your
oppenent can do an air recovery (which is quite easy). Instead use Fireworks,
as you can hold the button to make him wait to use it as he flings though the
air and launch it as you seem fit. You can also do this out of the blue and
catch human players off guard. But again stay varied.

Range Attacks
--------------

Gum Gum Impact will never hit if you are against a human who knows who Luffy is.
What I mean is unless you're semi-close the person will see the arm coming a
mile away and counter accordingly. Instead use chain sickle, a far superior
move. It comes out fast and if you play varied the opponent won't see it coming.

Tip: On most characters you can combo the Impact into Chain Sickle by performing
Chain Sickle right After Impact.

Speciality Attacks
------------------

Gum Gum Balloon: I like this attack. It does little damage but it comes out fast
and knocks your opponent far. It also has auto-guard while Luffy is inflated.
Use it to knock your enemies off the stage or to give you some room right after
they use a combo. Use the time you got to collect food charges. Or to power up
Gum Gum Scythe (more later).

Air attacks
------------

Not much too it. His whip has good range and is the most used move. Spear is
sometimes hard to hit because it comes at an angle. Gum Gum Rocket I don't use
because it places Luffy to close to the opponent and with Luffy you want to play
ranged.

Supers
-------

Gum Gum Dance comes out faster and you can semi-aim it after you start it.

Gum Gum Axe If your enemy get hits by the sweeping kick he/she will be stunned
giving you time to charge it until you see the blue orb and the you release and
bang!

Ax is stronger but extremely slow. Never use this out of the blue thinking the
opponent will walk right into it. (Com does sometime though) Instead use Gum Gum
Dance, the chances of hitting it will be greater and since you can aim it you
have move of a chance of catching people into it.

Secret Attack
--------------

Gum Gum Scythe has the greatest delay of any super in the game. It is by far the
slowest and therefore the most easiest to dodge. The four ways to hitting this
is to knock your opponent back, start it up, and hope your opponet falls into it
while dashing into you. Another way is while being chased jump to higher ground
(i.e Eden's Rock) and turn around and start it up and while your opponet jumps
after you when be caught offguard and hit. Make use of the shield power up while
being hit by a combo (it helps really it does). Or stun them first (i.e dashing
into boxes, or if human throwing a beehive and while learning knew controls hit
them).

Scythe hits extremly hard and can turn the tables any day.

Other Tips
-----------

Throw a box at an opponent and use Impact right afterwards. If your oppenent
catches the box they will be grabbed and you can try your Impact Chain Sickle
Combo.

In Fusha Village after the road sign starts spinning try aim a Gum Gum Scythe
right into it. Luffy will be randomly sprung out in any direction while still
doing the move. If it works the opponent won't know what hit 'em.

The Kung-Fu Jugon stinks as a support but if you desperately need help use 'em.

Ms. Sunday aka Nico Robin aka Ms. Allsunday
--------------------------------------------

Hits: Strong Men, History, Her Hat, Assassination
Misses: Ignorance, Names (She never uses 'em)

You must really experiment with her in order to play her. You must first realize
that she is not a "jump in and play" character. Most of her movelist requires
precise positioning and because of that the first time players get turned off.
But with some training she can become quite powerful. She is one of my favorite
characters for she can confuse and catch any opponent off guard. If you use her,
it's best not to use her combos for most of them are not safe unless you set
them up. With this in hand make sure you stay in control of the battle because
her defense game is not good!

Front Attacks
-------------

Let me bold the fact that combos don't play a big part in her gameplay. Six
Floret Spike is a safe move you can use this and expect not to be blocked.
Beyond this is Six Floret twist unleashes petals that travels a bit forward and
if they catch the opponent he will be grabbed. This move will be blocked if you
are not right next to your opponent when you start the combo(...but even then).
This goes for the rest of the combos she has. If you don't start them right next
to the opponent they can be blocked. Be Wary.

Tip: Six Floret Twist can be combo-ed into Two floret loop. So don't stop if you
manage to hit Twist.

Up Attacks
----------

Two Floret Around is a good attack. It launches the opponent into Six Floret
Craft which is hit or miss depending if the opponent does a mid-air recovery.

Two Floret Darts can be charged up to three daggers. Not really useful though
unless you're catching a human player off guard.

Tips: If you hit Six Floret Craft during the combo, execute the range Six Floret
Craft right afterwards and it should hit as well. Nice little extra damage.

Range Attacks
--------------

This is where Robin truly shines. Make use of these two moves whenever you can!

Four Floret Hold will grab a ground base non/slow moving character anywhere on
screen. Use this move to setup other combos. If blocked dash in for a grab.
Either way a useful move. One of the best in her arsenal. Six Floret craft works
well when complemented with other moves i.e: knock a person in the air and then
perform it.

Specialty Attacks
------------------

Six Floret Fall is a weird counter. It hits if enemy is close up or attacks.
This even stops supers if timed right. However there is a slight lag if you try
to walk or attack out of it. She'll shrug her shoulders as if to say "I'm not
doing it". Be wary of that as well.

Air Attacks
------------

On Floret Drop is the attack! It's an air grab that pretty accurate and
powerful. Make use of this to slam anybody down. A useful way of doing this is
jumping and executing this attack while low to the ground. Another great all
around attack. Six Floret Crush is another grab directing underneath you that
can be use to set up other combos of your choice.

Supers
------

Both not good at all. Cool points go to Six Floret Whirlwind for looks but
easily blocked. Save charges for Secrets and Support.

Secret
------

Good range and powerful! When you execute Sixteen Floret Lock hands will go
across the screen in the direction you're facing. Very useful.

Support
-------

Stick to Ms. Aprils Fools Day. Her status effects are brutal. One even makes you
only able to walk. This is the choice support for Ms. Sunday.

Other Tips
----------

Make use of her air attacks! They are strong and useful.

When fighting human players Six Floret hold can be hard to see on most stages
because of either snow or grass (hint hint). If that human gets smart and starts
jumping around use that One Floret Drop or Six Floret Craft.

Keep April Fools Day out to add on the pressure.

Combo out of setup moves like Six Floret Crush or Four Floret Hold. This makes
positioning yourself a bit easier meaning higher hit rate and less chance of
being punished (Defense is not her game)

She can control any battle she's in and make sure you do. She applies major
pressure herself because some of her stronger attacks can hit anywhere on
screen. Decimate all.
