Note: if you fast enough in capturing the ghosts, the enemies won't show up
but after you received the @Red SG, the two lost souls are back.

Pass Study Room to the end corner and get inside the door.
To the opposite right is the door to the Foyer second floor.
^1^BT in front as you come in. Ghosts party as usual.
Pay attention to the pictures on the wall up to the fourth floor.
They are cursed. See the red outline?
'Sailing Boat, Mansion, Lighthouse, An Owl, A Girl in Pose,
Knight in A Horse, Man's Portrait, Lady's Portrait' and Young Girl.
Now you know what your job here is. Yes, CURE all the curse on the pictures
but you are not allowed to touch/activate the picture twice. Let's say,
some pictures have only front side and some others have front and back side.
1. Ground floor:
Cure Sailing Boat, Mansion, Lighthouse, An Owl.
I am gonna divide the stairs into four floors.
2. First floor:
Cure Girl in A Pose, Knight in A Horse.
Activate, curse and get inside A Man's Portrait. Continue to the right.
Curse An Owl.
3. Get out on second floor:
Curse and cure A Man's Portrait. Cure Sailing Boat, Knight in A Horse,
and Mansion. One shield skeleton ahead. Use ultra shot to shock him,
then get close to rapid him down. Cure, get inside and curse
A Lady's Portrait. Walk to left.
(If you drop down to ground floor you can fight blue ripper)
4. Get out on third floor:
Cure the Lady's Portrait, to your left ^1^BT.Cure Young Girl on the left.
See the FCs? Save it for now, you can get it later.
One shield skeleton show up as you are approaching the BT. Ultra shot twice
while jumping up. Continue to the other side, curse and get inside
A Man's Portrait. Walk to the right, curse A Girl in A Pose, Mansion.
5. Get out fourth floor:
Cure A Man's Portrait. In front of you is a magical crank. Activate it
to attached some stairs to get down.

(You now may choose to get the (10)FCs, walk up the stairs to get back to
the crank, walk down again to cure the pictures, finally to the Young Girl)

Follow it down and cure ‘Mansion’, ‘A Girl in A Pose’, ‘A Man's Portrait’.
Get inside and curse the Young Girl at the end of the stairs, walk to left,
activate to get out the second Young Girl picture.
Only this time when you are OUTSIDE the picture,
quickly press ACTIVATE button again in order to CURE it!!!
6. Land on ground floor: ~~^^ /)
If you have not finish your job with the blue ripper, now is the time ~@~/
Retrace your track to the stairs. Since all the one side pictures already
been cured, your job has become easier.
Repeat the process from no. 1 to no. 5! I mean, get back to the crank.
(don't forget to cure the Young Girl portrait, left side of third floor)
Deactivate the crank. Stand on the left edge and look below.
Jump straight down to cure Sailing Boat.
7. Land on the second floor:
Get to the top of the stairs and cure the Lady's Portrait.
Look below to the already cursed An Owl. Jump down to cure it.
8. Land on Ground floor:
Get back to the stairs/first floor (it is on your left)
and cure the Man's Portrait.
The lights are back. The stairs are back.
You are free to get that (10)FCs behind the crank at the end of fourth floor.
Ghosts hunting:
1. Ground floor, vase right in front of you. -5-. Two shield skeletons.
<1>Pirate' DC.
2. Ground floor, vase on the right when you came in. -5-.
3. Second floor, big box under the sailing boat picture. -5-.
A ghost lady in front of the man's portrait. Admiring him on the first floor.
Tip on how to beat the blue ripper:
-On the first show up, you might be able to charge shot two times.
-Do not touch him. Keep running in a circle. Or back and forward. I mean
if you are going in one line, keep steady, don't change course, not until
he reappears.
-Prepare ultra shot, hold down locking, release ultra when the blue ripper is
going to appear. Its electric charge will be giving him damage.
-Quickly prepare charge shot. When he reappears, you will be automatically
facing him thanks to your locking system. Very quickly release your
charge shot. It will give him quite damage. Don't forget to jump avoid
his ripper swing. Repeat the process.
Now you can play hide and seek with the blue ripper in the alley.

Ground floor:
You knew the welcoming party. A bit to your right is ^1^BT. A bit to your left
is one blue ripper. Circle a bit to the opposite of the entrance, (1)FC and
you have just found your way to upper floors.
I am gonna divide this tower into several generators:
1. First generator(glass hour?).
When you are half way, three big spiders appear on ground floor. Finish them
When you are almost there, some spiders are protecting it, finish them.
You reach the first generator. Get (1)FC.
2. Second generator.
Once you reached the first you can see the second one and some spiders
in front of it. Clean them up. In between, ^1^BT.
3. Third generator.
Once you leave the second one, some spiders won't learn their lessons.
And there you see the third one just opposite the second one. Talking
about quite a numbers of spiders. Get (1)FC next to the third one.
4. In front of the third there is the main power handle. One shield skeleton
ahead. Ultra shot and charge shots. Activate the handle.
Now, as you are in space station, the gravitation is some how lower than on the
Earth. You should jump from one 'part' to another.
1. From the main handle, jump to one platform ahead you. ^1^BT and (10)Fcs.
2. Jump to another one on the left. It is flipping depends on your move.
3. Jump to another one in front of you. It flips depends on your move.
4. Turn left. Jump to the flipping one.
5. Jump from the edge to reach the big-still platform.
6. Look at your left. One 'ladder' platform moves in circle. Watch carefully.
Walk to the edge. Jump when one side of the circle one is to the nearest
to your position.
7. One generator ups ahead you. Wait for the right position and then jump up
and curve a bit you maneuver to land on the platform. Get (1)FC.
8. See the moving platforms? Yes the two of them moving from left to right.
when it reaches the end, it is flipping. Watch to the left one, when it has
finished flipping, jump to the stabilized platform.
9. Quickly jump onto the platform to the left of the yellow generator in front.
10.Walk down to the yellow generator. Get (1)FC.
11.See the rolling platform, there you go. Watch the pattern first.
12.Another rolling platform. You can walk the other direction to stabilized
yourself.
13.Jump forward to a still platform a bit far from you. But you will be fine.
To your right is where the switch is. Not now. (You may choose to jump to
the switch platform, since it is easier to do)
14.Jump to the left rolling platform.
15.Jump to another rolling platform.
16.Jump to the 'ladder' platform ahead. Get (10)FCs on the left and another
(10)Fcs on the right.
17.Get back to where the switch is. You may want to stand on top of the
generator next to the switch. See the flipping 'ladder' platform ahead.
18.Watch the pattern. When the rotation is slow, land on that platform.
19.Walk to the edge, quickly jump to another flipping 'ladder'.
20.Walk to the edge, quickly jump to another flipping 'ladder'.
21.Walk to the edge, quickly jump to the platform, get (10)FCs.
22.Enough jumping around. Jump back to the switch. Activate it!

There will be a shortcut to get to the switch in just a few seconds.
It is only available when you have touched the switch for the first time.
1. From where the main handle is (no.1), jump forward to the platform ahead
(where you can find the BT and FC)
2. From there, jump again to one more platform above on your right side.
3. Jump on more time to the platform above.
4. Jump up again to the near above platform.
5. One more jump to get to the switch.

The only difference is by doing the first route, you can collect all the FCs
in this room. It is up to you to choose.
The tower is reassembling.
Behind you (opposite the main handle), there is the previous BT.
Ghosts hunting: -10-
1. Second bookcase from the entrance, to your left when facing the tower.
One shield skeleton. -5-, <1>Pirate' DC.
2. Sixth bookcase from the entrance, to your left when facing the tower.
-5-, One balrog. *1*MD at the entrance.
If you wish not to take the MD, get close to the entrance door.
When the "Upstairs Hall" text is appear, press activate button.
You will be automatically positioned in-between the door and the MD.
Get out of there.
A couple of ghosts, dressing like a queen and a king.
One blue ripper is waiting outside, remember, he is not attacking directly.
You still got a chance to charge shot him twice! before he disappear.
Go quickly to stairs ahead to get more space to your advantage.
He will usually appear from the third floor.
Or else run your life to the Downstairs Hall door then get back to the
grandfather clock at the Upstairs Hallway. The blue ripper won't disappear
until you finish him! No, it's not true. He will re spawn every time you
finish him? Just passing by :)

The fever has returned and claimed some of the laborers, but not before they
completed their task. Recovery of the Beacon's Soul Gems is now imperative,
as is the gathering of the final ingredients. The gems were scattered in an
attempt to thwart me. My minions still have not been able to deliver them.
Perhaps there is another way.

Do not fight fire with fire". -Do not let the shiny outshine your Bravery-
Please consider you are in the middle of a battle zone and act accordingly.
Run and turn left to the second alley:
Don't want to waste your Bravery for nothing, son.
Use ultra shot from a distance to the balrog.
Quickly charge shots him (and to the trolls)continuously.
He will be a goner in no time. Pick up (1)FC.
No Bravery is waste for nothing.
"Didn't I tell you not to activate the crank!!!"
Facing to the center area, use rapid shots to destroy trolls coming at you.
There are ^3^ BTs to help you whenever necessary.
Quickly run and turn left to the third alley:
There are ^3^BTs and (1)FC around the end.
Same thing with the second alley.
Finish the balrog and be careful for the trolls.
Here is the key to survive!!!:
-In front of the balrog use your LOCKING SYSTEM wisely.
Charge shots the balrog, rapid shots the troll in front of you,
PROTECT YOUR BEHIND (you may want to release your lock, look behind, relock)
and then rapid shots the trolls coming from the fourth alley.
Repeat the process.
"Do not touch the crank".
Quickly run and turn left to the fourth alley:
There are ^3^BTs and (1)FC around the end.
Same thing here. But things are much-much easier since you don't have
many enemies chasing at you from behind. Just concentrate on one balrog.
Use charge shots all the way or use combination with the ultra shots.
"Do not waste time. Activate all the cranks"
Activating the crank at the second alley:
One silver armor chasing at you and one big spider at the center.
Activating the crank at the third alley:
One silver armor chasing at you and one big spider at the center.
Activating the crank at the fourth alley:
One big spider at the center.
The lights are spread all over once again.

Final battle
Total lives: 39Lives, (6)FC.
Atticus Thorn will give you a headache for sure. He is transforming into
something
evil monster. Looks like a giant worm standing at the center with a dragon face.
On his belly, there is a very big Black Soul Gem. And the three pairs of
crap-hands protecting the Black Soul Gem from the left and right.
He is not a piece of cake he used to be. Also after you beat him, there is
a second battle, much more furious, in the deepest ground of the mansion.
What strategy?
With so many lives you got in your pocket, not gonna need one :)~
First round:
---
Hint:
-There is ^1^BT on your left and another ^1^BT on the opposite.
Remember, Bravery Tonics are continuously available to your advantage.
-The BT needs approx. 8 seconds to re spawn. It gives you time to get another BT
at the opposite, doing a circle move around the wall. Or just wait.
-Your rapid shots (R1) will be automatically aimed for the head.
-Yes, there is a way to avoid the laser beam massive damage.
-Important!!! Press TRIANGLE when holding down R1 to change target between
the head and the belly.
Sometimes, I found it difficult to change target I dunno why, something is
just not right. And the camera is sometimes awful. All right, I found out,
it is better to change target when you are keep moving!!!
-You will get damage if touching him.
-If you got hit by the laser beam, you must press (R1) the weapon button again.
-Usually when Atticus got damage approx. 1/6 his health bar, he is going to
begin spending his laser beams.
-Damage level:
-Fireball: approx. 4/10 of your Bravery.
-Laser Beam: approx. 7/10 of your Bravery.
-Nod/Head punch: close to 2/10 of your Bravery.
-Touch him: close to 2/10 of your Bravery.
1. Once begin, run/jump backward to avoid his head punch.
2. Take position at the BT to take advantage when get hit.
Hold down the weapon button will give you rapid shots, automatically
aimed for the head. Jump straight up! every time to avoid single fire.
3. He is getting angry! Three times fire shots! (you may want to run/jump
to the left/right)
When Atticus begins to charge his laser beam (red light on the black gem)
or better before he begins to charge for it, quickly press TRIANGLE while
keep shooting to change target from the head to his belly.
If you find trouble keep changing targets then keep your target at the belly
It is better to change target while you are keep moving!!!
4. Keep repeating the process (no.2 and no.3)until he falls down. (or not)
You may choose to be more aggressive, (No fireball shooting)
3. Get close to Atticus (approx. 1/2 your distance), he will then nod his head
on you, be careful, go back. Continue move forward and back from Atticus
while keep shooting.
4. Once Atticus gets certain damage, he will soon release his massive beam shots
The very first time you see the red light on that black gem, very quickly
run forward while keep shooting (you will be shooting at the head then
finally at the belly) in order to cancel the laser beam).
The crap-hands will then once again protect it.
(Do not want to stand there too long) Quickly run back to your base.
Of course you can change your target to his belly to make things easier.
5. Repeat the process. Keep moving forward and back (watch out for the nod),
Forward and keep shooting when the red light shines. Get back when he is
going to nod on you. Get the BT behind you when needed. You had better
put the target on his Belly button (black gem).

-Squid Punch: close to 2/10 of your Bravery.
-Fire Breath: approx 6/10 of your Bravery.
-Laser Beam: approx. 7/10 of your Bravery
-Touch Lava: Need 16x to finish of your Bravery.
1. Quickly go to the left where the BT is. This place is gonna save your life
a lot. TARGET TO HIS BELLY (black gem).
2. He is going to use laser beams like breathing oxygen.
Sometimes he will give you more squid punch (5 times in a row) giving you
more time to reduce his health bar. After the punch get back to the center
point, wait for another punch, sneak in-between to the left or right area,
get back to the center point, continue on. Also, the BT is at the center
point to your very advantage.
3. The # sign means a small piece of ground you can step on it.
When Atticus signs up for the fire department, be on one of those #.
Wait until the fire is getting close then jump to another # on your
left or right.
Or, step on one of those #, jump straight up to let the fire pass through.
4. Use BT in front of you quickly to restore health. If you fall to the lava,
however the damage is very small, you may take advantage of it.
(When you are dancing on the lava, all other damage is not going to
be counted :)
5. Keep repeating the process and you will be out of there in no time.
(Faster than the first round :)

1. Sacred Lantern/Beacon
This is your first received weapon from Madame Leota and the only weapon
you are using to wipe out your enemies and to save the Haunted Mansion
(world?).
2. Soul Gems
There are 6(six) of them in order of the color; @White, @Purple, @Orange,
@Yellow, @Blue, and @Red. In order to get all of these Soul Gems, you must
collect specific Death Certificates which are scattered around the mansion
(ghosts hunting). Upon completion, you need to talk to a certain friendly
ghost (usually after you have beaten a mid boss). In return, they will give
you a Soul Gem to upgrade your weapon's power. (See locations of DC)
3. Death Certificate
This is a certificate that Zeke has to find piece by piece until the three
of it is completed and then gives it to one of friendly ghost to get a reward
of one color Soul Gem. Except for the last/Pirate Death Certificate, you will
get a Seaman Ring.
4. Mumbo Doll
'Handcrafted by Madame Leota to ward off evil and protect the bearer from an
untimely death. Gives Zeke a permanent bravery boost'.
This is a Full Health Recovery item.
Looks like an ancient-green-coated-priest-kinda-doll.
5. Bravery Tonic
'One dose of Dr. Penezek's Genuine Old Fashioned Bravery Tonic is good
for tongue warts, ear twitching', navel lint, cowardice, and other ailments.
Replenishes Zeke's lost Bravery'
As it says, it replenishes approx. 1/4 of Zeke's health (bravery).
6. Fortune Card
'Part of Madame Leota's long lost deck, used to channel spirits and
provide protection from evil forces. Collect 10 to gain an extra life'
7. Tome of Shadows book.
This kinda a diary of Atticus Thorn. All of his hatred, his never ending
pursue for the sacred Beacon.
8. Grandfather Clock.
Old clock preserve from time to time to save your progress.
9. Warp Door
Found at the alley on the Upstairs Hallway. Located in each corner to warp
reduce your trouble and time traveling.
10.Seaman Ring
The Pirate friendly ghost will give you this ring in return to his
Death Certificate. Use the ring to open the door behind the center picture
at the second floor of Foyer. The door is to the final stage where
Atticus Thorn has been waiting for your Soul Gems assistance.

Some/most of the enemies have their own stronger versions.
You are going to fight them on further levels and you can see the difference
on their colors and damage result.
1. Ghosts
Casper alike. Doesn't even say hello.
Cost you approx. 1/7 of your Bravery on early level.
In the Ballroom it will cost you approx. 1/4 of your Bravery.
In the Observatory it will cost you 1/2 of your Bravery.
2. Spider
Regular spider. A little bit bigger. You can step on them and crush them.
3. Big Spider
A spider of a human adult size. They can web you into their mouth.
4. Claws Hands
Claws from the broken doors or windows. When you get near, surprise!
5. Lost Soul
Kinda the ring o ghost with its long hair and white long dress.
Floating in the air can disappear and chasing at you permanently.
6. Giant Spider
Well. It's very big and its web can reach you from a far distance.
Luckily there is only one in this (world) mansion.
7. Shield Skeleton
First sight at the Graveyard. It can raise its shield to eliminate your
shots. You can aim right and release charge shots whenever it is ready to
shoot its three way bone bullets. This will cancel the three way shot.
8. Balrog
An ancient monster from the underground. Except this time, it falls down
from the sky. When his arm punches the ground, his friend troll will come
over to say hello to you.
9. Troll
They are good friends of balrog. Being called when balrog punches to the
ground.
10.Worm
Big size worm. Slow moving. Usually many of them at the same time.
11.Silver Armor
This guy is as though as its name. Use charge shot to shock him away.
12.Atticus Thorn
Who else doesn't know about this easy mid-boss but also a very tough
kick in the ass final boss.

Level Select:
During your play (do not press start to pause) and anywhere you stand still,
press and hold Right, then press Circle, circle, Square, Triangle, Triangle,
Square, Circle, X. You will hear a confirmation sound.
Note:
You are able to go to ANY place, collect ALL you need then go to ANOTHER
place using this code without worry of loosing the items you have just
picked up. Nice :)
That means if you missed something/anything in this game, you are able to
go back to any level you wish for, and go collect that item/s you missed.
The Level Select option will remain on the menu screen once activated.

1. Q: Does this game have a relation with a movie from Disney?
A: Yes and no.
Yes, It is based on the Disney ride and also the movie starring
Eddie Murphy. And some little details is similar to the game,
for example, you can meet Madame Leota in the movie, the cursed pictures
are for real, the stormy weather outside, they can talk to some of the
friendly ghost, etc.
No, the storyline is obviously different.
In the movie, Mrs. Murphy is personally invited to the Mansion,
while Eddie Murphy is always take advantage in the name of Real Estate.
Well, he is a sales agent in this movie.
In the game you play as Zeke who is applying for a caretaker assistant.
You also accidentally meet with Madame Leota, however your whole
missions are different. And there is no Atticus Thorn in the movie.
There is only a butler in the movie.
2. Q: How short is this game to be?
A: I guess it can be accomplished in approx. 5-6 hours if you follow this
walkthrough. Depends.
3. Q: Is it possible to beat this game without even losing a single life?
A: Yes, I have done it in Normal mode.

4. Q: What is it in the Nightmare mode?
A: Well, you got tougher bad guys, anything else?
5. Q: Do you know how old is the Louisiana Mansion/Atticus Thorn?
A: Tome of Shadows book I is dated October 31st, 1349 A.D.,
Tome of Shadows book VI is dated September 21st, 1878 A.D.
The book volume I itself must be more than 529 years old (almost 530).
Atticus Thorn was probably at his -- (50?) when he decided to
write the book.
That also means that Atticus keep taking care of the mansion for the
whole 529 years. Does he get help from the 'friendly ghosts'?
Or perhaps Atticus enslave them?
