Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee - Strategy Guide (Page 04)

Below are the cheat codes, hints and help for Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee - Strategy Guide (Page 04).

Orga Vs. Godzilla 90s: His beam seems to have a longer range than yours, and he
has more edged attacks than you, but you seem to have greater attack strength,
so don't worry too much here. All your attacks will work equally well on
Godzilla, so just kick his ass.

Orga Vs. Anguirus: Your beam has a longer range than his, but his block will
hurt you. Throws work well here, and your X throw is an excellent combo setup.

Orga Vs. Megalon: Megalon is walking to his own funeral...if you lose this,
turn the game off and play hopscotch or something. You are the king of blunt
attacks, and whaddya know, that's just what Meggie is weak against. Your simple
A attack will send Megalon spinning head over heels, and your beam has greater
range than his, so just whip his ass. Game. Set. Match.

Orga Vs. Gigan: He has a lot of edged attacks to use on you, but this still
shouldn't be too hard, unless you just suck with Orga. His beam has a longer
range than yours, but that won't help him much.

Orga Vs. King Ghidorah: This is basically the flying version of you. You both
have more blunt than edged, and you're both resistant to blunt. Your edged
attacks seem to be stronger than Ghidorah's, but he seems to have more of them,
plus he can fly and his beam is longer than yours. Throws work well here.

Orga Vs. Destroyer: Let's see here...your advantages: resistance to blunt
attacks, longer beam range. His advantages: laser blade, more edged attacks
than you, harder-to-avoid Rage Attack. My strategy: kick his ass and keep him
away from the Rage Power-Ups.

Orga Vs. Rodan: You don't have as many edged attacks as he does, but your
attack strength seems to be greater than the other monsters', and Rodan's
overall defense is lower than the other monsters'. Kick his ass, seabass.

Orga Vs. Mecha King Ghidorah: This is an easier fight than King Ghidorah, since
MKG now takes regular damage from blunt attacks. Now that you can use all your
blunt attacks, just whip MKG's ass, and remember that he can still fly and his
beam still has more range than yours.

Orga Vs. MechaGodzilla: Again, this is almost the same fight as Mecha King
Ghidorah, except MechaGodzilla seems to have fewer edged attacks, and your beam
ranges are closer to each other.

Orga Vs. Orga: You against yourself. You're both resistant to blunt attacks,
you both have a lot of blunt attacks. Unlike King Ghidorah, Orga can't fly, and
he doesn't have a super-powerful blunt attack to use. Just use the few edged
moves you have, and remember to mix in a throw or a thrown building.

9) Unlockables

These are the things that can be unlocked in the game. Hidden monsters, extra
levels, gallery items. Not much else to say here, so...

Hidden Monsters

Godzilla 2000(beat game with Godzilla 90s)
Gigan(beat game with Anguirus)
King Ghidorah(beat game with Megalon)
Destroyer(beat game with Godzilla 2000)
Rodan(beat game with Gigan)
Mecha King Ghidorah(beat game with King Ghidorah)
MechaGodzilla(beat game with Destroyer, Rodan, and Mecha King Ghidorah)
Orga(after unlocking all other monsters, beat game again with Godzilla 2000;
you'll know you did everything right if you fight Orga in the fifth round)

Extra Levels

Seattle(beat Adventure mode with Mecha King Ghidorah)
South Seattle(beat Adventure mode with King Ghidorah)
Tokyo(beat Adventure mode with Mecha King Ghidorha)
Tokyo 3(beat Adventure mode with Godzilla 90s)
San Francisco(beat Adventure mode with MechaGodzilla)
North San Francisco(beat Adventure mode with Anguirus)
Los Angeles(beat Adventure mode with Destroyer)
Los Angeles 3(beat Adventure mode with Gigan)
London(beat Adventure mode with Rodan)
London 3(beat Adventure mode with Megalon)
Osaka(beat Adventure Mode with Destroyer)
West Osaka(beat Adventure mode with Godzilla 2000)
Monster Island(beat Adventure mode with Rodan)
Mothership(beat Adventure mode with MechaGodzilla)

Now, you only really have to "beat" Adventure mode to earn a few of those
cities. Most of them, you can just fight to the fourth round with a monster,
win the fourth round, and then you earn a city. The monsters you have to beat
Adventure mode with to earn a city are Destroyer, Rodan, Mecha King Ghidorah,
and MechaGodzilla, as evidenced by the fact that there are two cities each
which have "(beat Adventure mode with Destroyer/Rodan/Mecha King
Ghidorah/MechaGodzilla)" after them.

Gallery Items

To unlock these, play Adventure mode on Normal or Hard difficulty.
Occasionally, when you destroy a building, an Atari symbol will pop up in a
beam of white light; pick this up to unlock a gallery item, then save after you
win the match. Unless it's the last match, you can either quit the game and
check the gallery item out, or keep playing to try and earn more. Now,
here are the descriptions of each gallery item.

Item 1: Anguirus in four different poses, one of which is a wireframe.
Item 2: The Anguirus icon(when you're selecting a character, choose Anguirus
and you'll see this; you also see it by his name when he is in a match).
Item 3: Destroyer in four different poses.
Item 4: MechaGodzilla falls against a building and topples it, while Godzilla
stands there, implying that Godzilla knocked/threw Mecha into the building.
Item 5: A Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters poster, with MechaGodzilla, King
Ghidorah, Megalon, Godzilla, Anguirus, and Gigan standing above the logo, and a
few pictures taken from the game below it.

background.

like a newspaper article...maybe another advertisement for the game.

horror.
