4. Walkthrough

The story mode is the main portion of the game. This section will cover 
the inital stages before the path split after Stage 9.

Apolly or Roberto Communicates with Salamis: Salamis retreats. +50 Exp.

After encountering some enemies, Apolly and Roberto will give you 
some combat basics before finally turning the controls over to you. 
Feel free to attack the GMs with any of your units. Have Apolly or 
Roberto communicate with the enemy Salamis to get it to retreat and 
earn an easy 50 experience points. Simple enough stage, no?

Inbetween this mission and the next, Char will be given two choices 
by Cima Garahau. The top will be to go through Cima Garahau's training 
sessions and the second will be to ignore them and go on to Session 01. 
If you choose to take the training sessions, i've listed them in another 
section so that this one does not get too convuluted.

After Amuro's little run against some poor Rick Doms, you enter to 
take on the White Base crew. Amuro will temporarily retreat while you 
fight. Take out the Core Boosters as they are barely a threat and then 
focus on the Guncannons. Lalah will show up as a reinforcment, and a 
very useful one at that since her Bits attack can damage all enemeis 
in an enemy squad. Bernie will show up in a shuttle and Chris will 
go out in a GM. Have Bernie communicate with her for some experience 
and to earn yourself Extra Session 01 later on.

out. This is an overall easy mission. Note that when you beat Shiro, 
he and Aina will leave the map.

Sieg and Sera will join your forces after this mission.

An overall fun mission because you get to take apart an entire 
enemy fleet effortlessly with just three powerhouse units. Move

Just keep attacking and attacking to win and move on to the next 
part of this scenario.

To win this mission, the stipulation is that all of the friendly 
Musai  must reach the end of the map. Not hard at all, really. It's 
simple enough to clear out the White Base crew that's in their way by 
using an Elmeth and a strong squad.

Soon, Ginias will show up in his Gromlin to fight some Feddie 
reinforcements.Give him a hand so that he doesn't get himself blown up, 
causing you to lose the mission.

If you are playing Special Mode, you will be given one of two options
after this Session: Follow Cima (4b) or follow Char (4a). If you are
playing normal mode, you will simply go to 4a.

Young (and super cute!) Haman has rebuffed Char into battle 
just in time, so it's time for some revenge on those damn Feddies!

Just throw out all of your units against the enemy. This is 
nothing more than an all out brawl. Use Haman and Sera's bits to 
blow up the bigger squads and have your squads ambush the units 
that are alone. 

If Bernie communicated with Chris in Session 01, you will go on 
to Extra Session 1 (see Extra Sessions section). If not, just go 
on to Session 5.

This is your first really big mission and it's here at A Baoa Que. 
I suggest waiting for the enemy units to come towards you before you 
start releasing your units. After the Federation has released all of 
their units from their ships, then feel free to pound on them. Use 
your Elmeths well to take out the annoying squads. There are tons of 
chances to gain experience points in this stage, so make sure you take 
the time to do so. Also, if Bernie has a battle encounter with Chris 
and then communicates with her, they will both retreat, but you will 
get them again later in the game.

This can be a bit of a tricky mission if you're not careful. 
Target the Gelgoog Jaegers first since they have map weapons. 
After that, target the battleships. Make sure than when you are 
about to defeat the last enemy, it's with a unit that can move 
very far across the map. Before you defeat this enemy, move your 
units as far to the bottom or top of the map as possible. This is 
because after you defeat all the enemies, the Federation will show 
up, and if you lose ANY unit to them, you lose the missions, so 
you want to make sure you can escape as soon as possible.

If you had Sieg communicate with Sera in the previous stage, you may 
move on to Extra Session 2 after this. If not, go straight to Session 07.
