-Items and Status Effects-
Items appear during battle. They can be unleashed by opening a treasure
chest on the stage. Some of these items include food for health, coins for
your special gauge and even power-ups. However there are also items that
will inhibit you from move in at your normal speed, seal off you defense,
Attack buttons, even special attacks and more.
(Don't worry it's not permenant)

Some of these can only be apllied by Help characters or attacks by
either Battle or Support characters.

- Shounen Jump Mag. (Infinite special gauge)
- Blue Kanji (Health recovers more quickly)
- Boxing Glove w/ blue "C" (Randomize next 2 attack strenghts)

  but you will take damage)

  and distorted)

-Win Points-
When you KO an opponent, you gain a point. When you get KOed, you lose
a point. At the end of the match the totals are added up and the player
with the most points is the winner. Jaguar and Sakuragi have the ability
to add points without KOing opponents, but they take time and can be
canceled so use these skills at your own risk.

-K.Oing Your Opponent-
There are 2 ways to KO an opponent:
1) Deplete his J-Soul.
2) Kick him out of the battle stage through a broken wall.

When all your Battle Characters are defeated, you will drop P coins
equivalent to the amount of special power left in your special gauge.

-Battle Screen-
From the top left you'll see numbers, a yellow bar and a blue bar with
a number beside it.

Timer - This tells you how long untill the match ends.
J-Soul - This is your health gauge.
Special Gauge - Filling this bar lets you use Specials, Support and
Help characters. The blue number next to it tells you how many gauges
you have filled.

-The Special Gauge and You-
Here's a list of the following things that require a bar off you special
gauge.

- Special Attacks (X and Up + X moves)
- Calling in Support Characters
- Using Help characters
- Tag-Attacks

Do not be discouraged though, there are serval ways to build it back up.

- Collect P Coins
- Some Help Characters
- Some Support Characters
- Kicking your opponent's butt

Now that you know what the menus say, it's time to make a deck.

A Deck consists of various characters that add to the combat abilities
of your deck. There are four basic types of koma: Battle koma,
Support koma, Help koma and Serif koma. Battle koma are marked as red,
Support koma are marked as blue, and Help koma are marked as green, and
Serif koma marked as purple.

In order for you to use your deck in battle, you'll need to at least have
one each of the three main koma types in your deck (one battle, one support,
and one help). Having more than one of each type of koma is highly recomended
if you want to win, ofcourse that's just my honest opinion. :P
Keep in mind that you won't be able to use a deck in battle if it is
missing any of the required pieces.

Placing certain character koma next to others will create stat bonuses
that'll increase the J-Soul of the characters (In the koma Index section
of the FAQ, you will find which characters boost each other).

Furthermore, having more koma in your deck will increase the number of
special gauges your fighters start with. (Check the Help Koma section of
the FAQ and start getting familier with those helpful little guys.)
