GoldenEye: Rogue Agent - Strategy Guide (Page 03)
Below are the cheat codes, hints and help for GoldenEye: Rogue Agent - Strategy Guide (Page 03).
p. Golden Gun (multiplayer and Virtual Training only)
Well you no the story here, INSTANT KILL. All it takes is one shot, and, WHAM
See ya later! you have to reload every shot, but it's quick. It can hold enough
ammo because it only takes one shot to kill. In any other gun, you'd be
laughing at the lack of ammo, but not here. I believe its clip can hold 8 at
a time. One-handed
Overall: 5. Almost no flaws at all, yet not perfect.
-----------------------------------
5.Goldeneye Powers
Yes, I realize that these are not weapons, however, some are used as weapons
and I thought they should be included. I will rate these from 1-3 instead of
1-5. You know the drill....1 being bad, 3 being good. Here we go...
a. MRI Vision
This is the very first power you will unlock. It allows you to see a
silhouette of an opponent through walls. This power works EXTREMELY well with
the Mag-Rail as it will enable you to kill an enemy before he sees you. Using
this eyepower wisely will make it easy for you to get "cheap shot" rogue
bonuses. This drains energy over time.
Overall: 1. This is the worst of all the Goldeneye upgrades, but comes in handy
when you have low health and you need to get rid of enemies behind cover.
b. EM Hack
This power is your second Goldeneye upgrade. It allows you to "tamper with
electronic machinery and weapons"(as scaramanga puts it). Simply put, when
hacking an enemy's weapon, it puts them into the reload sequence which will
give you time to kill him without getting injured for a short period of time.
You may also use this to use machine traps from a distance or activate
necessary things from afar. This also costs 45 points to use per use. This can
also destroy enemies shields(those who have personal shields).
Overall: 2. Helpful, yet not incredible (rhyme intended...uhh kinda)
c. Polarity Shield
The third power to unlock, this is worth the wait, for the most part. Using
this power will put a Magnetic shield around that will protect you for a
short period of time. You will know it's working when you see a blinking
screen. This power will rapidly consume the goldeneye power meter, especially
when you are being shot at. When you are near an enemy, you can "discharge"
your shield at him. This supposedly causes more damage than a melee attack
(though I have yet to notice it). This, like the MRI Vision, drains power
over time.
Overall: 2.5. Yes this can keep you from being damaged, but that's about it.
d. Magnetic Induction Field
Ahhh....the best and most fun power to use(also unlocked last). With this
power, you can fling any enemy within range to their ultimate doom. This
comes in handy when reloading or when you don't have enough firepower. Just
press select when an enemy is highlighted in yellow and there they go. The
only flaw with this is that it costs 75...yes, 75, power per use, making it
hard to use all at one time. The great thing about this is you can fling really
tough enemies(such as the ones with shields) to their death without effort.
Overall: 3. This is extremely helpful and fun to use---a perfect combo!

12) Rogue Bonuses (#RB#)
As you may already know, when you kill someone in an especially "creative"
or evil way, you will get a little bonus that appears in the top right (or is
it left?) of the top screen. This section tells you what each one is and
how to get them.
- The Little crosshair/scope sign._This represents a perfect shot right
between the eyes.
- The two little gears._This represents killing an enemy with a machine trap.
- The guy in the air with a hand that just threw him._This represents
throwing an enemy after taking him hostage.
- The guy standing up straight with waves to the left._This represents
killing an enemy with the magnetic induction filed.
- The guy split diagonally in half, shaded two color._This represents killing
an enemy by using your MRI vision in sync with the Mag-rail.
- The gear in a circle._This represents hacking an enemy's gun(s) or a
hackable machine.
- The gun that seems to be speeding off to the left._This represents a in-
transport kill. In other words, killing someone while on an elevator.
- The fist in the circle._This represents a knockout.
- The little explosion thing._I'll give you one guess...
yup, it means you killed a guy with an explosion.
- The "flashing" shield._This represents a shield bash (pressing select when
right next to an enemy and your shield active.
- The guy with a shield behind him._Means you used a guy as a human shield.
Okay, there you go. Hope it helped anyone who didn't know what they were.
Or how to do them.
