1. My Introduction
==================
Hey to all my fans! It's been quite a long time since I've written any new
FAQs due to the
"Incident", but now I’m back! The long-awaited WWF Raw has finally came out
and it rocks. As you know, I love the X-Box and Wrestling, so what a great
mix! I will be adding lots of stuff to the review within the next little
while, and worked very hard on this; so I hope you enjoy it!

Hope this helps,

~Brakker-Z Ryan Rider

P.S. If you have any additions, questions, critiques, comments, or anything
else concerning me or the FAQ, please e-mail me at kwfwrestling@hotmail.com
or boysrus@videotron.ca.

2. Game Review
==============
Even though I did end up getting GameCube too, I decided to get my X-Box
first mostly
because of this game. It kept being delayed, until it finally came out.
And, you know
what? I think it does live up to its hype and it rocks!

Gameplay: 8/10

There were some things that people wanted that they took out. Who really
cares about the
Smackdown Mall anyways. I mean they're is so much in this game! There are
35 wrestlers to choose from going from The Rock and Triple H all the way to
Haku and Funaki! The controls may be hard at first, but once you get used
to them after a few matches, then you'll start to like them. The game is
hard at the beginning, but watch the How to Play tutorial and try doing a
2-Player match(or 2!) and then it will become a bit easier. There are also
all sorts of matches including King Of The Ring, Battle Royal, Tornado Tag,
Hardcore, Fatal 4-Way, etc. There are hundreds of hidden weapons and
several secret characters throughout the game. I know you can't save your
progress, but if you get secret weapons/characters you can save them on
your X-Box hard-drive or a Memory Card. The CAW(Create-A-Wrestler) feature
is also quite good but could have been better. There should have been more
features to do. Aside from that, you can still make quite a good wrestler
and I know lots of people like making known wrestlers that are not in the
game.

Audio/Video: 9.5/10

All I can say is... WOW! The graphics of this wrestling game are far more
superior than any other. The video at the beginning of the game is amazing,
especially the pyros and lights. The music videos and entrance themes of
wrestlers are 100% perfect, and the graphics in this game are so realistic!
Big Show ducks his head when he comes out, exactly right entrances, etc.
The only annoying thing in this game is when a fake Lilian Garcia voice
announces the wrestlers to come out. I especially hate when she calls my
CAWs: ''Player One'' and ''Player 2''.

Replayability/To buy or to rent?: 8/10

There is just too much to do in this game. You can have big Battle Royals
or King Of The
Ring tourneys with your buddies and friends, you can try to get every
single hidden
weapon and wrestler, play all sorts of kinds of matches in Exhibition
against the
computer or a human player/players, etc. You'll never get bored of this
game. As for to
buy or rent, I suggest that you rent this game first as I say that about
50% of people like
this game, 50% don't. I bought it knowing that, and I loved it. So I guess
it's personal
preference. Rent it, and if you like it then buy it!

Overall: 9/10

A great wrestling game and in my opinion the best game on any of the
next-generation
consoles, and the best wrestling game of all time. Even though so X-Box
Bashers do not
like this game, I will continue liking it so I suggest that you guys stop
trying to tell people
not to buy this GREAT game. I suggest it for any hardcore wrestling fan, or
any wrestling
fan for that matter that owns an X-Box. End Of Review.

3. Updates
==========
02-24-01-Version 1.0: Finally finished Version 0.1 of the review. Look for
lots of updates
within the next little while.

02-25/26-01-Version 1.2: Fixed lots spelling mistakes, did half of the
wrestler's in-game bios. Fixed the mistake in the codes and added a new one.

02-26/27-01-Version 1.3: Added lots of new questions. Made an "Untrue
Rumor" section because of all those fake stuff going around. Started the
CAW section and worked on the in-game bios for the wrestlers. Fixed the
format(I hope!). Made the ASCII art a bit nicer for those people at the FAQ
Contributors board.

02/3-28/1-Version 1.4: Added a lot of reader-submitted CAWs. Almost
finished all the in-game bios and started the Wrestler's Moves section.

Version 1.5: Added alot, and I mean ALOT of CAWs!

Version 1.6: Started to fix the ****ed up format/added a few more
wrestler's move lists.

4. Frequently Asked Questions
=============================
Q: Is there any blood in the game?

A: No, there isn't.

Q: Are you sure? I heard there is still some blood hidden in the game.

A: I said no! Those rumors are all fake.

Q: This game sucks! Why did you make a FAQ for it?

A: Something called freedom of opinion. If you are an X-Box hater and
dislike the game,
don't waste your time sending me e-mails flaming the game.

Q: Could I please have a full list of weapons?

A: Yes, look down to find the complete list.

Q: Should I buy this game?

A: If you are a wrestling fan, yes. Otherwise, rent the game first!

Q: Can you rip your own themes into the game?

A: Nope.

Q: Can I have a list of all your CAWs?

A: I still haven't made any except for fake wrestlers. I have been too busy
working on the rest of the FAQ. I'll try to make a few later this week.

Q: WWF Raw or WWF Smackdown 3?

A: Raw all the way!

Q: How come I can't win any titles?

A: Change the settings to easy mode!

Q: I still can't win any titles! Any more suggestions?

A: Try winning the women's title first. Then keep practicing until you
finally win. That's
what I did.

Q: I suck, any suggestions?

A: Watch the "How To Play" movie in options mode, and practice against an
invisible
2nd player!

Q: Is there any way to save? I hate always having to re-start!

A: There is a way to save; go to Option and then click Save and Load. Click
save to save the belts/weapons that you have gotten.

Q: How do you do Double-Team moves?

A: For double team moves, there are none. You must be thinking of another
wrestling game or something.

Q: Any tips for Hardcore matches?

A: Try to beat your opponent down with weapons quickly and try to pin them
A.S.A.P.

Q: What is the best way to counter moves?

A: Keep pressing Y, X, and A all at the same time.

Q: How did I lose a match in 17 seconds?

A: Either it was Hardcore Holly who bets people quickly, or you absolutely
suck.

Q: Who is your favorite wrestler?

A: My favorite wrestlers to use in this game are my CAW(Brakker Z), Haku(no
joke!),
The Rock, and Stone Cold.

Q: How do you delete CAWs?

A: First off, I want to thank you for taking the time to compile all this
information for the general public. The reason for this email, is an
addition or suggestion to you FAQ section. The question is, "How do I
delete a CAW?" You wrote, "Just save another CAW over it." This will
work, but I found a better way. If you power on the XBOX with no game
inserted, you will get to access the dashboard features. Inside the memory
area, there is a list of all the games that has "saved" files on the hard
drive. From here, you can delete the wrestlers individually.

Q: What buttons should you push to make a pin more effective, or to kick
out of a pin?

A: There is no way to make a pin more effective. To pin, press B while
somebody is lying
down. To press out of a pin, try pressing Y+B+A.

Q: How do you Save/Load weapons?

A: Go to options, and then click "Save or Load Game".

Q: How do you do finishing moves?

A: Wait for your side of the bottom bar to take over and glow. If your
opponent is
extremely hurt, then press A to grapple. There press A+B to do your
special. It is very
hard to make your opponent hurt enough to be able to do it, as it usually
just becomes a
headbutt. Keep trying until it will finally work!

Q: My game always freezes? Does this happen to all games?

A: No it's either your game or your X-Box that is broken. Go and return it
for a refund or
exchange!

Q: Everytime I try to save my CAWs, it says: "Unable to load edit
superstar". What is
wrong?

A: If you have saved it to a card, then when loading an edit, you have to
choose the place
you saved it to. The same with the hard-drive. If its saved on the card,
then choose the
card, if its on the hard-drive, then choose it(its the one in the center).

Q: Are there any more secret characters besides the ones that you have listed?

A: Nope. If it's not in the Secrets and Codes section, then there is no more.

Q: I saw on a web site that WCW wrestlers are unlockable. True or false?

A: False. The only way to unlock them is to make CAWs of them which will be
coming in a future update.

Q: With the CAW, do you always have only 28 points for strength or is there
a way to get more?

A: There is no way to get more than 28 "points" for your CAWs.

Q: My wrestler's stamina bar goes down really quick but it also refills
really quickly. Is that because of his strengths or because of the moves I
picked?

A: The flashing meter goes up and down depending on how good you are doing
in a match, you moves you are doing, and your taunts. It has not much to do
with which wrestler you pick.

Q: How do you climb the ladder?

A: Simple, you can't!

Q: How do you put someone through a table?

A: You just do a move directing yourself to make the opponent fall on the
table. The different parts of the table count as weapons.

Q: Is there any backstage areas? If yes, how do you get them?

A: Sorry to ruin your hopes, but there is nothing backstage.

Q: Can you make a CAW come out wiht another CAW in tag team?

A: No.

Q: What exactly is FACTION for?

A: The faction was originally there because the wrestlers were going to be
divided into factions like in WWF No Mercy. They decided not to do that,
and for some reason left it in CAW. Kind of wierd or they were just being
lazy.

Q: Is it true that you can stack tables on top of each other?

A: Yes, but a maximum of up to three. If you are doing a hardcore match
have two or three tables, set one up right below the stage so that its
facing length ways. Then get another table and run up the stairs to the top
of the stage. Set it up lenghth-way again and slowly push it off the stage
so that it lands on top of the other table below. There you go.

5. Types of Matches
===================
Exhibition:
-----------
-Single Match: A normal one on one 3-Fall match. You can play against a
human or
computer player.

-Tag Team Match: Two versus Two(tag format).

-Tornado Match: Two against two again. In a Tornado match, both members of the
Tag-team are in the ring at the same time; as there is no tagging.

-Triple Threat: Three human or computer players against each other.

-Fatal 4-Way: Same as Triple Threat but with four people.

-Battle Royal: A "last man standing" match. The last person not to be
pinned out of four
people wins.

-Handicap matches: Two or three against one! For very skilled players only.

-King Of The Ring: A tournament of single matches. It is an elimination
contest.

Title Match:
------------
-WWF Championship: Fight your way up to win the WWF title and an anonymous
secret
character(skip to the Secrets and Codes section for more info). You fight
guys like The
Rock, Stone Cold, Rikishi, and William Regal.

-Intercontinental: Fight against people like Chris Jericho, Bradshaw, Chris
Benoit, etc.
until you win the IC title.

-European: No secret characters here. Several people in this ranking are:
Crash Holly,
Eddie Guerrero, Al Snow, and Perry Saturn.

-Hardcore: Anything goes here. No weapons or holds barred. Beat your
opponents with
weapons until you win the hardcore title and another secret wrestler.
Several people
in this rank: Raven, Big Show, and Hardcore Holly.

-Light-heavyweight: There is not much point in winning this title unless
you need
practice or want to get every single weapon/belt. Several superstars in
this rank: Taka
Michinoku, Funaki, and Christian.

-Women's Title: Beat three women to win this title. Even male wrestlers can
win it(I won
it as The Rock). It's a good title to start off at. All women are in
this(three are picked
randomly): Molly Holly, Lita, Trish Stratus, Ivory, and the newly won
Stephanie
McMahon who you get by winning the title.

10.Wrestlers
============
Albert:
-------
A graduate of the WWF's training camp, Albert is the one of the most
powerful and colorful Superstars on the roster. His power moves, including
his finishing maneuver, the Baldo Bomb, is the stuff of nightmares! Once a
feared tag-team competitor with Test, the duo has since split ways, and
Albert is now a feared and brutal competitor in the singles division.

Al Snow:
--------
Distressed over treatment by Federation brass in the past, Al Snow claims
he has been psychologically traumatized as a result of his former
"gimmicks", which including Avatar
and Leif Cassidy. But in time, Al proved himself as a legitimate WWF
Superstar. Currently he can be seen training WWF hopefuls on MTV's popular
WWF Tough Enough series.

Big Show:
---------
The Big Show tore into the WWF-literally. He first showed up at St.
Valentine's Day Massacre in February 1999 by ripping through the ring
canvas and, in an amazing display of strength, throwing Stone Cold Steve
Austin through a Steel Cage! Whether it is lifting up at entire ring, or
pulling the entire TitanTron down to the floor, he puts on a show that fans
won't soon forget. Knowing he now has to prove himself in the federation,
Show is hungrier than ever to prove that he can advance beyond the
greatness everyone has set for him.

Billy Gunn:
-----------
He was a three-time Tag Team Champion as the Smokin' Gunns, but Billy Gunn
achieved
most of his success one he decided to become "Bad Ass". After being
unceremoniously
removed from DX because of an injury, Billy Gunn returned to the federation
as "The
One". Whether it's in singles competition or in the tag team division,
there's no denying
"The One" is a phenomenal athlete-arguably the best pound-for-pound in the
federation!

Bradshaw:
---------
Bradshaw, the tough Texan, makes it clear that he loves to brawl with
anyone. He, along
with Faarooq, started the Acolyte Protection Agency with that in mind. The
agency
provides protection to any WWF Superstar, as long as they have cash, and as
long as they
don't make any "suggestions" to the APA. The scouting report on the APA is
simple:
Don't make them mad. Faarooq and Bradshaw are two of the toughest S.O.B.s
on the
planet, and they love to kick ass for fun! And don't ever interrupt the APA
when they're
playing cards... it may be a painful experience!

Bubba Ray Dudley:
-----------------
The Dudley Boyz have made claims on many occasions that they are the best
tag team in
the world today, and they believe that history supports their beliefs. Once
D-Von and
Bubba Ray decided to combine their skills and compete as a tag team, and
they were
virtually unstoppable. In addition, their finisher, 3D-the Dudley Death
Drop-is one of the
most feared maneuvers in the world. Since Bubba and D-Von have joined the
WWF, the
duo has made it their goal in life to "get wood" by putting other
Superstars through tables.

Chris Benoit:
-------------
Chris Benoit's journey to the top has ended right where it should-on top-in
the WWF.
There is no doubt that this young man has already proven he can achieve
extraordinary
things inside the squared circle, and now that he's in the WWF, his career
may hit heights
few have seen before.

Chris Jericho:
--------------
He calls himself a new hero. Your new party host. "The Ayatollah of Rock n'
Rollah".
The Y2J problem. Call him whatever you want, but the fact remains...Chris
Jericho has
arrived in the WWF! With one of the most spectacular entrances in the
history of
sports-entertainment, Jericho made his debut live in Chicago on Raw! He
feels that he is
here to save the federation, and that every single Superstar should just,
"Shut the ****
up!".
