Below are the cheat codes, hints and help for Sengoku Musou - Strategy Guide (Page 07).

Tombo-Giri
Escort Ieyasu Tokugawa together with the rear guard!
This activates during "Shadow Flight" if Tadakatsu Honda is still alive. This
is successful if the enemies at mt. Chausu are defeated. It fails if "Shadow
Flight" succeeds.

Our Mikawa
Seal all Takeda strongholds!
This activates after "Scale" is completed. Take all indicated Takeda
strongholds.

Crossing Iga

Escape Route
Secure an escape route quickly!
Begins as son as the stage starts. Lead Ieyasu to one of the three routes. The
southern route is a dead end so don't go to that one.

All for One
Save Baisetsu Anayama's unit from the Akechi Army!
This should activate at the beginning of the stage too. Go and defeat Hidemitsu
Akechi to save Baisetsu.

Lure
Save Ieyasu Tokugawa from the bandits!
If you get him to the western path he will be get trapped inside that area.
Defeat all the enemies to free him.

Obedience
Allow Yasumasa Sakakibara to join up with Ieyasu!
This should activate when Yasumasa appears. Clear a path in between the two so
Ieyasu can get to Yasumasu.

Subterfuge
Eliminate the task force!
This should activate when Ieyasu gets to the northern fortress. Go around and
defeat the task force before they reach the bottom corner.

Beckoning
Allow Tadatsugu Sakai to join up with Ieyasu Tokugawa!
This activates after "Subterfuge" finishes, if Tadatsugu Sakai is still
alive, and Mitsuhide arrives. Allow Ieyasu Tokugawa to join up with
Tadatsugu.

Compatriots
Allow all forces to escape into Nagonoura Harbor!
This activates after completing "Escape Route", "Obedience", and "Beckoning"
and if Goemon Ishikawa is defeated and no allies have been defeated. Allow all
allied officers to escape at the docks.

Ueda Infiltration

Espionage
Gather information and head to the next floor!
This activates when the stage starts. Look around on the first floor to hear
information about the Secret Letter. When it is completed head to the next
floor. Do not burst into the room where the officers are talking.

Intelligence
Gather information and head to the next floor!
This activates if you completed "Espionage" and made it to the second floor.
Follow the same information for "Espionage".

Confirmation
Gather information and head to the next floor!
This activates if you completed "Intelligence" and made it to the third floor.
Follow the same information for "Espionage".

Unbreakable
Eliminate Kunoichi!
On the fourth floor when you meet up with Kunoichi, this mission activates.
Defeat her.

Secrecy
Eliminate Yukimura Sanada!
If you failed one of the first three missions and you get the the bottom level,
this mission activates. Defeat Yukimura.

Siege of Osaka-Summer

Crimson Fortress
Infiltrate the Sanada-Maru and silence its cannons!
This should activate at the beginning of the stage. Enter the fortress and
defeat the two Defense Captains to silence each cannon.

Undying Spirit
Do not allow Yukimura Sanada to enter the fortress!
This activates after "Crimson Fortress" finishes. Defeat Yukimura before he
reaches the fortress. You fail if he reaches the marked X.

Sanada Ninjas
Defend the allied supply depot!
This activates after completing "Crimson Fortress" and encountering Yukimura
Sanada. Defeat Kunoichi before she takes the supply depot.

Lion's Roar
Prevent Yukimura Sanada from entering the main camp!
When Yukimura makes his all-out charge, defeat him before he enters the main
camp.

Just in time
Prevent Yukimura Sanada from entering the main camp!
This activates after failing "Undying Spirit". Defeat Yukimura Sanada before
he reaches the main camp.

Undisciplined Ninja
Eliminate Kunoichi!
When you meet up with Kunoichi on the second floor, defeat her.

Muddle
Eliminate Hideyori Toyotomi!
When you have defeated everyone else on the second floor, defeat Hideyori.

True Ninja
Eliminate Kunoichi!
When you meet up with Kunoichi on the third floor, defeat her.

Ruse
Eliminate Hideyori Toyotomi!
When you reach the top floor defeat Hideyori Toyotomi.

Osaka Infiltration

Goemon
Do not let Goemon Ishikawa escape!
Defeat Goemon Ishikawa before he gets away on the first floor.

Way of Ninjitsu
Eliminate Kunoichi!
When you meet up with Kunoichi on the second floor, defeat her.

Rogue's Fate
Eliminate Goemon Ishikawa!
This activates if you fail "Goemon", but succeed in "Way of Ninjitsu"
and when you meet up with Goemon Ishikawa on the third floor. Defeat
him.

Rematch
Eliminate Kunoichi!
This activates if you succeed in "Goemon", but fail "Way of Ninjitsu"
and when you meet up with Kunoichi on the third floor. Defeat her,

Battle Royale
Eliminate Kunoichi and Goemone Ishikawa!
This activates after failing "Goemon" and "Way of Ninjitsu" and
encountering Goemone Ishikawa and Kunoichi on the third floor. Defeat
them both.

Light and Shadow
Eliminate Keiji Maeda!
When you meet up with him, defeat Keiji.

The Darkness
Eliminate Yukimura Sanada and Hideyoshi Toyotomi!
When you reach the top floor defeat Yukimura and Hideyoshi.

C. Oichi-100%

The Battle of Okehazema

Smokescreen
Attack the Imagawa outpost!
This activates at the beginning of the stage. Attack and beat the Defense
Captains to open the gates.

Help Hideyoshi
Eliminate the enemies near the Zenshouji Fortress!
After you complete "Smokescreen" Hideyoshi Hashiba will appear in Zenshouji.
Defeat the Imagawa enemies that appear with him.

Lightning Battle
Attack the Imagawa main camp from the mountain pass!
After you "Help Hideyoshi", he will locate Yoshimoto's camp. Head down to the X
and attack Yoshimoto.

Storm Warning
Eliminate Hanzo Hattori!
On your way to Yoshimoto's camp you will encounter Hanzo. Defeat him.

Old Friend
Eliminate Tadakatsu Honda!
After you defeat Hanzo, go and defeat Tadakatsu to get Ieyasu to join you.

All will be mine
Eliminate all Imagawa officers!
After the "Lightning Battle" mission, go and defeat every Imagawa officer
excluding Yoshimoto.

The Imagawa
Defeat the Imagawa Army's elite officers!
This activates if you fail "Help Hideyoshi". Defeat all of the Imagawa
generals.

Faster than Shadow
Do not let Hanzo Hattori overtake you!
This activates after completing "The Imagawa" if you are on the west
side of the map. Get to the Imagawa camp before Hanzo does. Matsukaze would
help.

Siege of Inabayama Castle

One Night Castle
Defeat Bokuzen Ujie's unit at Sunomata!
This activates at the beginning of the stage. Go and defeat Bokuzen.

Get the Lumber
Defeat Morinari's unit at the west Lumber storage!
This activates at the beginning of the stage. Go and defeat Morinari Ando.

Clear the Fortress!
Guard the Siege Ramp!
This activates sometime after "Get the Lumber". Keep the Siege Ramp alive until
it reaches its destination.

Ploy uncovered
Defeat the Saito blockade unit!
This activates after you got all your lumber and Hideyoshi returns to Sunomata.
Go and defeat Yorisada Toki.

Reckless Charge
Defeat all Saito officers!
This activates after Sunomata Castle is built and the Saito gates open. Defeat
every last officer including Yoshitatsu. He will run away though after you
killed everyone else, so get him quickly.

Path of Thorns
Defeat Yoshitatsu Saito's unit!
This will activate after "Ploy uncovered" fails. Defeat Yoshitatsu Saito.

Talented Youth
Eliminate Ranmaru Mori!
Defeat Ranmaru when you meet up with him.

Clever Tactician
Eliminate Hanbei Takenaka!
This activates if you did not defeat Hanbei Takenaka on the field. This will
activate on the third floor of the castle. Defeat Hanbei.

A Stern Man
Eliminate Mitsuhide Akechi!
defeat Mitsuhide when you meet up with him.

Way of the Viper
Eliminate Yoshitatsu Saito!
When you reach the top floor, defeat Yoshitatsu.

The Battle of Anegawa

Engage the Enemy
Eliminate Ieyasu Tokugawa and stop the enemy advance!
This activates at the beginning of the stage. Go and defeat Ieyasu before he
marches on the Asakura camp.

Keiji's Dance
Prevent Keiji Maeda from entering the main camp!
This activates sometime after "Engae the Enemy". Defeat Keiji before he enters
the main camp.

Sister-in-Law
Eliminate Noh!
This activates after "Keiji's Dance". Head towards the southeastern corner,
where Noh was said to be, not the far south, the inner one. Noh will appear.
Eliminate her.

Three Mino Generals
Prevent the enemy from entering the main camp!
This will activate sometime after "Sister-in-Law". Defeat Bokuzen Ujie, Ittetsu
Inaba, and Morinari Ando before they enter the main camp.

Brother and Sister
Eliminate Nobunaga Oda!
This activates after the "Three Mino Generals". Eliminate Nobunaga quickly.

Azuchi Infiltration

Three Mino Generals
Defeat The Mino Three!
When you meet up with them, defeat Bokuzen Ujie, Ittetsu Inaba, and Morinari
Ando.

Triple Threat 1
Defeat all The Mino Three!
When you meet up with them again, defeat Bokuzen Ujie, Ittetsu Inaba, and
Morinari Ando.

Triple Threat 2
Defeat all the Mino Three!
This activates on the third floor if you fail "Three Mino Generals". Defeat
Bokuzen Ujie, Ittetsu Inaba, and Morinari Ando.

Fight with no Glory
Eliminate Keiji Maeda!
When you meet up with him, defeat Keiji Maeda.

My Brother and Mitsuhide
Eliminate Mitsuhide Akechi!
When you reach the top floor, defeat Mitsuhide.

Betrayal at Honnouji

Fire Safety
Defeat Hidemitsu Akechi and thwart the fire attack!
This activates at the beginning of the stage. Defeat Hidemistu before he
reaches the fire attack point.

Brother!
Rescue Nobunaga Oda from Honnouji!
This activates after you complete "Fire Safety". Run up to Nobunaga.

Not Expendable
Recue Ranmaru Mori!
After the Akechi ambush party appears in the north and Ranmaru's army is
struggling this activates. Just go to Ranmaru to get him to withdraw.

Brother and Wife
Rescue Noh!
This activates when you complete "Brother!" and you encounter Noh. Defeat the
enemies around her to complete the mission.

Blood Feud
Eliminate Noh!
This activates if you fail "Brother!" and once you encounter Noh. Defeat Noh.

Escape Southeast
Help Nobunaga Oda escape to the southeast!
This activates once you rescue him. Defeat all enemies in his path so he can
get to the southeatern gate. Good luck with this one. Nobunaga won't actually
retreat if there are enemies in the way. You need to defeat them all. Defeat
all Reserve Captains. The gate in the center doesn't have a captain so enemies
will keep pouring out of there. Nobunaga didn't start to retreat until the last
5 minutes where the time turns red on the screen. He made it and gave me enough
time to defeat Mitsuhide. You will fail if Nobunaga gets to the gtae with
Shigetomo Akechi there.

Escape Northeast
Help Nobunaga Oda escape to the northeast!
This activates if you fail "Escape Southeast". Allow Nobunaga to make his way
to the northeastern exit.

Score to settle
Eliminate Mitsuhide Akechi!
This activates once Nobunaga has retreated. Defeat Mitsuhide before the stage
ends.

Siege of Azuchi Castle

Colossal Gate
Eliminate the enemy ambush party!
When you enter the southeastern gate this mission activates. Defeat all the
enemies inside.

Castle Grounds
Eliminate Mitsuhide Akechi!
When you or the Azai Army gets to Mitsuhide, this activates. Defeat him.

Three for One
Defeat The Mino Three!
When you or the Azai Army gets to them, this will activate. Defeat Bokuzen Ujie,
Ittetsu Inaba, and Morinari Ando.

Silence the Muskets
Wipe out the Hashiba musket unit!
After you open the gate guarded by The Mino Three, this mission activates.
Defeat each musket unit.

Misunderstanding
Eliminate Hideyoshi Hashiba!
This activates if you fail "Silence the Muskets" or if you encounter
Hideyoshi before it activates. Defeat Hideyoshi.

Pressure
Eliminate Keiji Maeda!
After "Silence the Muskets", Keiji will come out. Defeat him.

The Shield
Eliminate Ranmaru Mori!
When you or the Azai Army gets to Ranmaru, this activates. Defeat him.

Azai victorious?
Eliminate Nobunaga Oda!
This activates after you complete "Misunderstanding" and when you
encounter Nobunaga Oda. Defeat him.

Oichi victorious?
Eliminate Nobunaga Oda!
When you or the Azai Army gets to Nobunaga, this actvates. Defeat him.

Opening Battle
Eliminate Mitsuhide Akechi!
When you get to him on the first floor, defeat Mitsuhide.

Self-Sacrifice
Eliminate Ranmaru Mori!
When you get to him on the third floor, defeat Ranmaru.

Disruptive Monkey
Eliminate Hideyoshi Hashiba!
When you get to him on the fifth floor, defeat Hideyoshi.

Between Siblings
Eliminate Nobunaga Oda!
When you get to him on the sixth floor, defeat Nobunaga.

The Battle of Honnouji

Mitsuhide's Ambition
Eliminate Mitsuhide Akechi!
This activates when the stage starts. Defeat Mitsuhide before he retreats.

Nagamasa's Effort
Thwart Nagamasa Azai's fire attack!
This activates after "Mitsuhide's Ambition" is done. Go near Nagamasa to get
him to call off the attack.

Impatience
Thwart Nagamasa Azai's fire attack!
This activates if you fail "Mitsuhide's Ambition". Approach Nagamasa to
complete this mission. You fail if the fire attack squad reaches the
destination.

Unrequited Love
Eliminate Hideyoshi Hashiba!
This will activate after Hideyoshi shows up as reinforcements. Defeat him.

Monkey and Badger
Defeat Hideyoshi Hashiba and Ieyasu Tokugawa!
This activates after you fail "Nagamasa's Effort". Defeat the Hideyoshi and
Ieyasu.

The Rivals
Defeat Hideyoshi Hashiba and Mitsuhide Akechi!
This activates if you complete "Impatience". Defeat Mitsuhide and Hideyoshi.

Power Triangle
Defeat Hideyoshi, Ieyasu, and Mitsuhide!
This activates if you fail "Impatience". Defeat Mitsuhide, Hideyoshi, and
Ieyasu.

The Badger
Eliminate Ieyasu Tokugawa!
Once Ieyasu Tokugawa shows up as reinforcements, this mission activates. Defeat
him.

I will stop you!
Eliminate Hanzo Hattori!
This activates once you defeat Ieyasu. Defeat Hanzo, he'll appear in that same
area.

Thank you and goodbye
Eliminate Noh!
This will activate when you are standing outside Noh's chamber. Enter and
defeat her.

E. Mitsuhide Akechi-100%

Defense of Inabayama Castle

Inabayama
Defeat the enemy advance force!
This should activate once the stage starts. Defeat Narimasa Sassa and Katsuie
Shibata.

Lumber
Defeat enemy unit by the storehouse!
This should activate once the Oda Siege Ramp has been set up. Go defeat Koroku
Hachisuka.

Resolution
Take Sunomata Castle and silence its Cannons!
This activates once the sun rises and after the scene with Hideyoshi when there
are about 25 minutes left. Enter Sunomata and defeat Hideyoshi Hashiba.

Prove Yourself
Defeat all Oda officers!
This activates after you meet up with Noh. Go defeat any Oda officers
remaining.

Hanbei's Revolt
Prevent Hanbei Takenaka's revolt!
This should activate sometime after you take Sunomata. Go and defeat Hanbei
Takenaka.

The Battle of Ise

Ready Fire Attack
Eliminate the fortress defense troops!
This activates when the stage starts. Defeat the Pilgrims at 2 of any of the 4
fortresses. Because of where you start at, I suggest the north and east
fortresses. You will fail once eight minutes elapse.

Ready Cannons
Protect the Cannon unit until it can attack!
Should activate some time after "Ready Fire Attack". Just keep Yoshitaka Kuki
alive until the cannons can fire. Unless playing on hard, you shouldn't really
have to do anything.

Rekindling
Protect and secure a path for the task force!
Should activate some time after "Ready Fire Attack". Keep Hideyoshi alive and
get him through to the enemy fortress. He should be able to get there himself,
unless you are playing on hard. If he is defeated this mission fails.

Fire Ploy
Protect and secure a path for the task force!
After you fail "Ready Fire Attack" this activates. Keep Hideyoshi alive and
guide him through to the enemy fortress. You fail if he is defeated.

Occupation
Occupy all four enemy fortresses!
This activates after you fail either "Rekindling" or "Fire Ploy". Defeat the
Pilgrims at each indicated fortress.

Surrender
Prevent the enemy from surrendering!
After the successful fire attack, this mission activates. Defeat Shoukei and
Magoichi Saika before they surrender.

Life is Power
Defeat Tomosada Hattori and secure an escape route!
After the Ikko rebels begin to withdraw, this mission will activate. Defeat
Tomasada Hattori.

Peasants' Escape
Allow the peasants to escape safely!
This activates after completing "Surrender". Guide the Pilgrims to the
Escape Point. If you near them they will follow you. If less than two escape
then this mission fails.

Betrayal at Honnouji

Saying Goodbye
Defeat Ranmaru Mori and clear the south gate!
This activates once the stage begins. Defeat Ranmaru Mori.

Bellflower
Protect the fire attack unit!
This activates after encountering Ranmaru Mori. Make sure te fire attack
unit reaches the destination point. Marked with a blue X. This fails if they
are defeated.

Promise to the Dead
Eliminate Noh!
Activates when you meet up with Noh. Defeat her.

Innocence Lost
Eliminate Oichi!
Activates when you meet up with Oichi. Defeat her.

The Enemy
Eliminate Nobunaga Oda!
Activates when you meet up with Nobunaga. Defeat him.

The Battle of Yamasaki

Mt. Ten-oh
Defeat defense's unit and seal the enemy camp's gate!
Activates as soon as the stage starts. Head to the X and defeat the three
Defense Captains.

Saving Matsuda
Defeat the enemy army and rescue Masachika Matsuda!
Should activate some time after "Mt. Ten-oh" Defeat Kiyohide Nakagawa and
Shigetomo Takayama before they defeat Masachika Matsuda.

The Summit
Defeat enemy at the summit and occupy Mt. Ten-oh!
Should activate sometime after "Saving Matsuda". Defeat all enemies at Mt.
Ten-oh.

No Reinforcements
Defeat Nagahide Niwa's unit!
Should activate sometime during "The Summit". Defeat Nagahide Niwa.

Great Tiger-
Defeat Keiji Maeda and rescue Sadayuki Atsuji!
Should activate sometime during "No Reinforcements". Defeat Keiji before he
defeats Sadayuki.

Tragedy of War
Subjucate the peasant militia!
This will eventually activate. Defeat the peasant troops inside the cave.

Clear the Cave
Clear the cave as quickly as possible!
This activates if you enter the cave from the east side during
"The Summit". You succeed once you reach the west side of the cave before
too much time elapses.

Monkey tactics
Rescue the Tsuda forces, and defeat the Kuroda Army!
This activates if you fail the first four missions and once Nobuharu
Tsuda advances into the cave. When he gets ambushed, defeat Kanbei Kuroda.

Gifu Infiltration

Ninjas
Eliminate the enemy ninja unit!
When you enter the big room on the first floor, ninjas will appear. Defeat
them all.

Ninja Master
Eliminate Hanzo Hattori!
When you meet up with Hanzo after "Ninjas", eliminate him.

Beautiful Prey
Eliminate Magoichi Saika!
When you meet up with Magoichi on the second floor, defeat him.

Trespass
Eliminate Goemon Ishikawa!
When you meet up with Goemon on the third floor, defeat him.

Conviction
Eliminate Ranmaru Mori!
When you meet up with Ranmaru on the fourth floor, defeat him.

Defense of Azuchi Castle

Stop the Fire
Eliminate the enemy fire attack unit!
This activates at the beginning of the stage. Defeat Narimasa Sassa, Kazumasu
Takigawa, and Nobutada Oda before they set Azuchi ablaze.

The Flames spread
Prevent enemy's unit from clearing the castle gate!
This activates sometime in the beginning. Defeat Hideyoshi Hashiba before he
clears the southwest gate.

Prediction
Do not let the enemy Spear Cannon clear the gate!
Activates once the Spear Cannon appears. Go defeat Katsuie Shibata before him
and his Spear Cannons clear the southern gate.

Stop the Hashiba
Keep the Oda Army away from the tower!
This activates if "The Flames Spread" fails and Hideyoshi Hashiba, Nagahide
Niwa, or Toshie Maeda begins battle with Shigetomo Akechi. Defeat the
indicated generals.

Stop the Shibata
Keep the Oda Army away from the tower!
This activates if "Prediction" fails and Katsuie Shibata or Nobumori Sakuma
defeat Toshimitsu Saito. Defeat the indicated generals.

Moth to a Flame
Defeat the Oda units inside the castle!
When you enter that little gateway in the southern gate this activates. You
must defeat all enemies inside to get free.

Nothing Sacred
Thwart enemy's fire attack!
This activates two minutes after you fail "Stop the Fire". Defeat Nobutada Oda
and Kazumasu Takigawa.

Demon's March
Keep the Nobunaga Oda's unit away from the tower!
When Nobunaga begins his march go and defeat him.

The Battle of Yamasaki

East Gate
Do not allow the Oda Army to clear the east gate!
This activates as soon as the stage starts. Defeat Narimasa Sassa before he
enters Mt. Ten-oh through the east gate.

West Gate
Do not allow the Oda Army to clear the west gate!
This activates as soon as the stage starts. Defeat Kazumasa Takigawa before he
enters Mt. Ten-oh through the west gate.

Dark Enemy
Eliminate all ambush parties inside the cave!
Enter the cave to activate this mission. Find and defeat all 5 ambush parties.

Avenger
Eliminate Hideyoshi Hashiba and defend the east gate!
This activates when Hideyoshi comes. Defeat him before he clears the east gate.

Reason
Do not attack Ranmaru Mori! Endure as long as you can!
This activates after you encounter Ranmaru and after "East Gate" is completed.
You must remain near Ranmaru Mori. Guard against his attacks. You fail if he
is defeated or you separate from him.

Nobunaga advances
Stop Nobunaga before the attack starts!
This activates after 20 minutes with Shigetomo Akechi alive and the completion
of "West Gate". Encounter Nobunaga. You fail if he reaches Mt. Ten-oh.

F. Magoichi Saika-100%

The Battle of Ise

Cannon
Defeat the enemy cannon unit!
This mission should start at the beginning of the stage. Head to the
southeastern corner and defeat Yoshitaka Kuki. You will fail if 5 minutes
elapse or the Pilgrim in the east fortress is defeated.

Barrage
Defeat the enemy cannon unit!
This activates if you fail "Cannon". Defeat Yoshitaka Kuki.

Escort
Escort Shoukei to the Oda main camp!
This mission should start a little into the stage after Nobunaga burns your
fortress. Just follow Shoukei to the southern part of the Oda camp. It will
occur to Shoukei to give you a hard time and he will fight all enemies you come
across on your way. Defeat each unit's commander to send them away. Once you
reach the camp Nobunaga will kill him. You will fail if he is defeated before
that.

Retreat
Defeat Ranmaru Mori's unit and secure an escape route!
This mission starts after the "Escort" mission ends. Head to the southwestern
corner and defeat Ranmaru.

Safety
Help the peasants retreat from the battle field!
Starts after "Retreat" mission. Go to every peasant unit to make them start to
retreat and then help them get to the Escape Point.

The Preview
Get closer to Nobunaga Oda to snipe him!
This starts after Nobunaga leaves his camp. Just go right up to him to complete
this mission.

Yamasaki Crossfire

Advance Force
Defeat the Oda advance force!
This should activate as soon as the stage starts. Defeat Kazumasu Takigawa,
Katsuie Shibata, and Nagahide Niwa, I suggest in that order.

The First Shot
Snipe Nobunaga from afar!
This should activate during the "Advance Force" mission. After defeating Katsuie
Shibata head north of Nobunaga just close enough when you just begin to see him,
but stay in the cave. Shoot him.

Furious Assault
Defeat the Oda Army's second wave!
This will eventually activate after the "Advance Force" mission is completed.
Defeat Nobumori Sakuma, Toshiie Maeda, Narimasa Sassa, I suggest in that order.

Ambush Party
Eliminate Hideyoshi, and stop the enemy advance!
This should activate after the "Furious Assault" mission. Go defeat Hideyoshi
Hashiba.
