Samurai Warriors is a combat game where you take on the role of a warrior in
Japan. This game is very similar to the Dynasty Warriors series. Your warrior
belongs to what is called a Daimyo Clan and fights for that clan to unify
Japan. You will start with the option of only 5 characters, but as you play
new characters will be unlocked.

In Story Mode you will fight as your selected character and follow their story.
Each character has a different story. I will first lay out the character and
some information on them and then I will proceed with their stages. For now I
just have their stages and how to get to the next stage for either endings.
Eventually I will go a little more in-depth with strategies.

A. Yukimura Sanada
"The world shall witness the power of the Sanada Clan!"
Gender- Male
Daimyo Clan- Sanada
Weapon- Spear
Unlock- Starting character
Yukimura is a part of the Sanada Clan, but he fights under the Takeda Clan.
He has a strong sense of honor. Their main enemy is the Uesugi, Tokugawa, and
Oda Clans.
The Battle of Kawanakajima-Field
Takeda Army vs Uesugi Army
Story- Shingen Takeda invaded a neighboring fief of Shinano to expand his
power. The Shinano warlords knew they were no match for the Takeda army and
enlisted the help of Kenshin Uesugi who vowed to oppose Shingen.
Victory Condition- Kenshin Uesugi is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Shingen Takeda is defeated.
The Battle of Mikatagahara-Field
Takeda Army vs Tokugawa Army
Story- With Kenshin's withdrawal, the Takeda army was victorious at
Kawanakajima and began their march to the capital, but Ieyasu Tokugawa, the
Lord of Mikawa, stood in their way.
Victory Condition- Ieyasu Tokugawa is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Shingen Takeda is defeated.
There are two ways to proceed to the next battle. Hanzo will attempt to
assassinate Shingen. If he is successful you will continue to the Battle of
Nagashino without Shingen, but if you prevent it, then Shingen will be alive
for the Battle of Nagashino.
In order to save Shingen, you must let him die now, but once you have completed
Yukimura's Story Mode and unlock Shingen Takeda, complete Shingen's Story Mode
and replay this level. This will then open up a mission where you have an
opportunity to stop Hanzo.
Hanzo is fast. So as soon as you see him show up race back to your main camp as
fast as possible. He will fail if you are in the main camp before him. This is
not entirely easy. If you can't get it then first go defeat Kazumasa Ishikawa.
Then go back to your main camp and wait for Ieyasu to begin his retreat and
Hanzo will eventually show up at th bottom of the screen. After he appears and
you are in the camp he will discontinue his plot. Then go defeat Ieyasu. You
could also defeat Hanzo before he gets there.
The Battle of Nagashino-Field
Takeda Army vs Oda-Tokugawa
Story- Shingen Takeda fell to Hanzo Hattori at Mikatagahara. His son,
Katsuyori, succeeded his father and began another march to the capital, but now
Nobunaga's forces stand in the Takeda army's way.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is deafeated.
Defeat Condition- Katsuyori Takeda or Yukimura Sanada is defeated.
Defense of Ueda Castle-Field
Sanada Army vs Tokugawa Army
Story- The Takeda army was obliterated at Nagashino. In an attempt to rebuild
his forces, Yukimura returns to his home base at Ueda Castle, but a large
Tokugawa force is on its way.
Victory Condition- Ieyasu Tokugawa is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Masayuki Sanada or Yukimura Sanada is defeated.
Siege of Osaka-Summer-Field
Toyotomi Army vs Tokugawa Army
Story- The Tokugawa's loss at Ueda Castle was, but a minor setback or them.
Within several years Ieyasu conquered most of Japan and began a final campaign
against his biggest rival, the Toyotomi Clan. Yukimura, who sought to defy
Ieyasu prepared for a showdown at Osaka Castle.
Victory Condition- Ieyasu Tokugawa or Hanzo Hattori is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Hideyori Toyotomi or Yukimura Sanada is defeated.
Completing this stage unlocks Yukimura Sanada's Ending 1. It also unlocks
Shingen Takeda.
The Battle of Nagashino-Field
Takeda Army vs Oda-Tokugawa
Story- Yukimura thwarted Hanzo's ploy and allowed the Takeda army to score a
victory at Mikatagahara. However, the Oda Army, armed with thousands of muskets
was approaching their position.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Shingen Takeda is defeated or the Takeda Cavalry is
obliterated.
Siege of Azuchi Castle-Siege
Takeda Army vs Oda Army
Story- The Takeda Army routed the Oda Army and urrounded Nobunaga at Azuchi
Castle. But closing in on Azuchi is a shadow in pursuit of Shigen.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Shingen Takeda is defeated.
The Battle of Yamasaki-Field
Takeda Army vs Oda Army
Story- The Takeda Army was successful in defeating the Oda and Uesugi Armies
and sent Azuchi Castle in flames. Nobunaga regrouped his forces at Yamasaki to
engage with Shingen one last time.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Shingen Takeda is defeated.
Clearing this stage unlocks Yukimura's Ending 2. It also unlocks Shingen
Takeda.

B. Hanzo Hattori *
"Where there is light, there is shadow."
Gender- Male
Daimyo Clan- Tokugawa
Weapon- Sickle
Unlock- Starting character
Hanzo is a ninja serving under Ieyasu Tokugawa. Their main enemy is the Takeda
and Sanada Clans.
The Battle of Okehazema-Field
Tokugawa Army vs Imagawa Army vs Oda Army
Story- Yoshimoto Imagawa, a powerful warlord of the Tokai Region led his
massive army west toward the capital of Kyoto. When the Imagawa forces reached
Owari they proceeded to take one Oda stronghold after the other. But then they
decided to rest at Okehazema giving Nobunaga the opportunity he was waiting
for.
Victory Condition- All Imagawa officers are defeated.
Defeat Condition- Ieyasu Tokugawa is defeated.
The Battle of Mikatagahara- Field
Tokugawa Army vs Takeda Army
Story- The defeat at Okehazema brought ruin to the Imagawa and as a result the
Tokugawa Clan declared independence from the Imagawa and reclaimed their
territories in Mikawa. But the Tokugawa soon faced peril as well as Shingen
Takeda began his march to the capital and Mikawa was right in his path.
Victory Condition- Shingen Takeda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Ieyasu Tokugawa is defeated.
Crossing Iga-Field
Tokugawa Army vs Akechi Army
Story- Thanks to Hanzo and other brave officers, the Tokugawa prevented the
Takeda from advancing to the capital. Years later, while in Sakai, Ieyasu heard
news that Nobunaga was killed by his vassal Mitsuhide Akechi and he was now
looking towards Ieyasu. Ieyasu now had to take the passage through Iga in order
to return to Mikawa.
Victory Condition- Ieyasu Tokugawa reaches Nagonoura.
Defeat Condition- Ieyasu Tokugawa is defeated.
Ueda Infiltration- Castle
Tokugawa Army vs Sanada Army
Story- Ieyasu was able to escape peril thanks to Hanzo. Years later Ieyasu
heard news that Nobunaga's successor, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, was conspiring with
the Sanada to bring down the Tokugawa. Hanzo was sent into the Sanada base in
Ueda to expose the conspiracy.
Victory Condition- Secret Letter is acquired.
Defeat Condition- Hanzo Hattori is defeated.
There are two ways to complete this level. You must either gather the
information and acquire the Secret Letter or don't acquire the Secret Letter
and defeat Yukimura. Doing one or the other opens up a new stage for whichever
you did.
If you are going for the Secret Letter then you cannot fight anyone. When you
enter a room and Hanzo says something like "The next room' or "Further to the
back" then that means enter the next room, but eavesdrop on the enemy
conversations. Walk up to the door and listen to them. Do not break it.
Getting the letter opens the Siege of Osaka-Summer stage.
Siege of Osaka-Summer-Siege
Tokugawa Army vs Toyotomi Army
Story- Thanks to Hanzo's actions, the Toyotomi plot never came to be. Years
later Hideyoshi past away and Ieyasu gained control over most of the land.
Ieyasu was now ready to march upon the Toyotomi home base of Osaka, but just
for good measure, he assigned Hanzo to assassinate Hideyoshi's successor,
Hideyori.
Victory Condition- Hideyori Toyotomi is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Ieyasu Tokugawa is defeated.
Completion of this stage unlocks Hanzo's Ending 1.
Osaka Infiltration-Castle
Tokugawa Army vs Toyotomi Army vs Goemon
Story- Ieyasu was unable to incover any evidence of a conspiracy within Ueda
Castle. So he was then left to give Hanzo the difficult task of infiltrating
Osaka to get evidence from Hideyoshi himself. Determined to serve his master,
Hanzo prepared an infiltration against Osaka Castle.
Victory Condition- Hideyoshi Toyotomi is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Hanzo Hattori is defeated.
Completion of this stage unlocks Hanzo's Ending 2.

C. Oichi *
Gender- Female
Daimyo Clan- Azai
Weapon- Kendama
Unlock- Starting character
Oichi is Nobunaga's sister and eventually Nagamasa Azai's wife. Using a
child's toy as a weapon she wants peace between the two clans. Her main enemies
are the Akechi and Oda Clans.
Oichi is not the best of warriors. But a good move to do with her is Square,
Square, Square, Triangle. This initiates a spinning motion where she smacks
nearby enemies with her kendama. Keep pressing Triangle to make it last longer.
If you stop sh'll do this little jumping, spin move, but if you press it to
much she'll drop to the ground tired leaving her open for an attack.
The Battle of Okehazema-Field
Oda Army vs Imagawa Army
Story- Yoshimoto Imagawa, a powerful warlord of the Tokai Region led his
massive army west toward the capital of Kyoto. When the Imagawa forces reached
Owari they proceeded to take one Oda stronghold after the other. But then they
decided to rest at Okehazema giving Nobunaga the opportunity he was waiting
for.
Victory Condition- Yoshimoto Imagawa is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated or the Oda Main Camp is taken.
Siege of Inabayama Castle-Siege
Oda Army vs Saito Army
Story- The Oda forces ambushed and destroyed the Imagawa forces and achieved
victory. However Nobunaga then proceeded to Inabayama Castle in the neighboring
fief of Mino, the birthplace of his wife, Noh.
Victory Condition- Yoshitatsu Saito is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
The Battle of Anegawa-Field
Azai-Asakura vs Oda-Tokugawa
Story- After conquering Mino, in an attempt to secure a passage to the capital,
Nobunaga arranged a marriage between his sister, Oichi, and Nagamasa Azai, Lord
of the Azai Clan. However the relationship between the two soon grew worse
forcing Oichi into a confrontation with her own brother.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Nagamasa Azai or Oichi is defeated.
You have an option in this battle that will determine which stage you continue
to. The last mission that wants you to eliminate Nobunaga quickly. When you get
this quest go and defeat him. I think you wait a while for the quest to end to
unlock the other stages.
Azuchi Infiltration-Castle
Oichi vs Oda Army
Story- The Azai-Asakura Alliance defeated the Oda Army. However this completely
destroyed all relations between the Oda and Azai. In order to negotiate an
amicable solution with her brother, Oichi entered Azuchi Castle alone.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Oichi is defeated.
Betrayal at Honnouji-Field
Oda Army vs Akechi Army
Story- Mitsuhide Akechi, a most trusted vassal of Nobunaga's, secretly held
ambition in his heart and launched a complete surprise attack on Nobunaga at
Honnouji. When learning of this, Oichi convinced Nagamasa to mobilize his
troops to aid her brother.
Victory Condition- Mitsuhide Akechi is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Nobunaga Oda or Oichi is defeated.
Completion of this stage unlocks Oichi's Ending 1.
Siege of Azuchi Castle- Siege
Azai Army vs Oda Army
Story- The Battle of Anegawa resulted in victory for the Azai-Asakura Alliance.
The feud between the Oda and Azai continued until it reached a point where
Nagamasa decided to launch an attack on Azuchi Castle. Oichi was among the Azai
ranks.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Nagamasa Azai or Oichi is defeated.
The Battle of Honnouji-Field
Azai Army vs Noh's Army
Story- The Azai army occupied Azuchi and eliminated Nonunaga. Nagamasa was now
in a position to unify the land under his rule. But in Kyoto former Oda vassals
were gathering to seek vengeance for their fallen lord.
Victory Condition- Noh is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Nagamasa Azai or Oichi is defeated.
Completion of this stage unlocks Oichi's Ending 2.

D. Kenshin Uesugi
"Come Nemesis"
Gender- Male
Daimyo Clan- Uesugi
Weapon- Sword
Unlock- Starting Character
"The Dragon of Echigo", Kenshin Uesugi has vowed to oppose his "nemesis",
Shingen Takeda. So his main enemy would be the Takeda Clan.
The Battle of Kawanakajima-Field
Uesugi Army vs Takeda Army
Story- Shingen Takeda invaded a neighboring fief of Shinano to expand his
power. The Shinano warlords knew they were no match for the Takeda army and
enlisted the help of Kenshin Uesugi who vowed to oppose Shingen.
Victory Condition- Shingen Takeda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Kenshin Uesugi is defeated.
Odawara Infiltration-Castle
Uesugi Army vs Hojo Army
Story- The Uesugi Army was victorious at Kawanakajima, but Shingen used his
wile to turn the Hojo Clan against the Uesugi Clan. In order to remove the Hojo
threat, Kenshin entered their home base of Odawara alone.
Victory Condition- Ujimasa Hojo is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Kenshin Uesugi is defeated.
Siege of Ueda Castle-Siege
Uesugi Army vs Takeda Army
Story- After occupying Odawara Castle, Kenshin returns to Echigo. The Takeda
Clan began a march towards the capital to control the Imperial Court. Learning
that he had fallen for their ruse, Kenshin gave chase, but standing in his way
was one called Yukimura Sanada.
Victory Condition- Masayuki Sanada is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Kenshin Uesugi is defeated or the Uesugi Main Camp is taken.
Siege of Gifu Castle-Siege
Uesugi Army vs Oda Army
Story- Kenshin was victorious at Ueda Castle, but the battle took longer than
expected they behind Shingen's procession. Kenshin was determined to stop
Shingen and marched through Kiso Pass which led to Gifu Castle, the residence
of Nobunaga Oda.
Victory Condition- All Oda officers are defeated.
Defeat Condition- Kenshi Uesugi is defeated or the Uesugi Main Camp is taken.
Depending on how you scored victory in this battle will open up either of two
next stages. There are 4 missions that you have to fail to get to the "The
Battle of Anegawa" stage. To fail them don't clear the floors quickly. It
should take about 4 minutes for them to fail. If you want to complete them
then make it to the next floor within 4 minutes.
Kawanakajima Showdown-Field
Uesugi Army vs Takeda Army
Story- Kenshin was able to occupy Gifu before Shingen. Hearing this news,
Shingen abandoned his march to the capital and prepared for a battle with
Kenshin. The "Tiger of Kai" and the "Dragon of Echigo" were about to face each
other for one final showdown at Kawanakajima.
Victory Condition- Shingen Takeda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Kenshin Uesugi, or all allied officers except Kenshin Uesugi
are defeated.
Completing this stage unlocks Kenshin's Ending 1 and Keiji Maeda.
The Battle of Anegawa-Field
Uesugi Army vs Takeda Army
Story- While Kenshin was busy occupying Gifu Castle, Shingen Takeda marched
across Owari and entered Oumi, a fief bordering the capital. Learning of this,
Kenshin began a fierce pursuit of the Takeda Army and the two met at Anegawa.
Victory Condition- Shingen Takeda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Kenshin Uesugi is defeated or the Uesugi Main Camp is taken.
Completing this stage unlocks Kenshin's Ending 2 and Keiji Maeda.

E. Mitsuhide Akechi *
"You shall now witness the true art of battle!"
Gender- Male
Daimyo Clan- Akechi
Weapon- Katana
Unlock- Starting Character
Mitsuhide serves Nobunaga, but holds ambition in his heart and cannot allow
Nobunaga to rule the land. His symbol is a bellflower. His main enemy is the
Oda Clan.
Defense of Inabayama Castle-Field
Saito Army vs Oda Army
Story- After defeating Yoshimoto Imagawa at Okehazema, Nobunaga set his sights
on the neighboring fief of Mino. The Mino forces were no match for Nobunaga's
Oda Army and soon the the only stronghold left was the Saito Clan's home base
of Inabayama Castle. Due to the relentless assault by the Oda, the Saito Clan
was in shambles and Saito vassals, Mitsuhide Akechi and Ranmaru Mori, knew
they were at the crossroads of their destiny.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Yoshitatsu Saito is defeated.
The Battle of Ise-Field
Oda Army vs Honganji Army
Story- So the Oda Army was successful at destroying the Saito Clan and
bringing down Inabayama Castle. Mitsuhide and Ranmaru joined the Oda ranks and
after the occupation of Mino set out for another battle at Ise-Nagashima.
Victory Condition- All peasant troops are routed or eliminated.
Defeat Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Betrayal at Honnouji-Field
Akechi Army vs Oda Army
Story- After the Oda Army scored a victory at Ise-Nagashima, Mitsuhide began
to doubt Nobunaga's harsh methods. Years later, being placed in command of a
large force, Mitsuhide secretly led his troops to Honnouji where his lord
Nobunaga was residing.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated or Nobunaga Oda reaches the Escape
Point.
Defeat Condition- Mitsuhide Akechi is defeated.
There are two options for victory in this battle and using one will open up a
different path to finish Mitsuhide's Story Mode. If you kill Nobunaga you will
proceed to the upper path. If you allow him to escape you will proceed to the
lower path.
The Battle of Yamasaki-Field
Akechi Army vs Hashiba Army
Story- Mitsuhide was successful at taking Nobunaga's life at Honnouji. Now he
would face the wrath of the former leader's vengeful vassals. Hideyoshi
Hashiba was advancing from the west and Mitsuhide would engage him at
Yamasaki.
Victory Condition- Hideyoshi Hashiba is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Mitsuhide Akechi or all allied officers except Mitsuhide
Akechi are defeated.
Gifu Infiltration-Castle
Akechi Army vs Mori Army
Story- The Akechi Army defeated the Hashiba Army at Yamasaki and it appeared
that Mitsuhide would unify the land. But Ranmaru Mori from Mino had taken
Gifu Castle.
Victory Condition- Ranmaru Mori is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Mitsuhide Akechi is defeated.
Completing this stage unlocks Mitsuhide's Ending 1 and you can now play as
Ranmaru Mori.
Defense of Azuchi Castle-Field
Akechi Army vs Oda Army
Story- Mitsuhide failed to eliminate Nobunaga at Honnouji. Mitsuhide had to
turn around and take Azuchi castle to prepare for a siege battle between
Nobunaga. As expected, Nobunaga mobilized his troops to surround his former
base.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Mitsuhide Akechi is defeated or Azuchi Castle's Tower is
taken.
The Battle of Yamasaki- Field
Akechi Army vs Oda Army
Story- The Akechi forces repelled the Oda Army and successfully defended
Azuchi Castle. Mitsuhide used this opportunity to give pursuit to the fleeing
Nobunaga and cornered him at Yamasaki.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- All allied officers except Mitsuhide Akechi are defeated.
Completing this stage unlocks Mitsuhide's Ending 2 and Ranmaru Mori is now
available to play.

F. Magoichi Saika
"Big, strong, handsome. What more could you ask for?"
Gender- Male
Daimyo Clan- Saika Mercenaries
Weapon- Musket
Unlock- Complete Story Mode with anyone once.
Magoichi is the game's ladies man. He wants to kill Nobunaga for oppressing
the people. So his enemy would be the Oda Clan.
The Battle of Ise-Field
Honganji Army vs Oda Army
Story- After the victory over the Imagawa Clan at Okehazema, Nobunaga's
influence grew immensely and he seized power over the capital of Kyoto. He
then sought to rid the land of the rebellious Ikko Buddhist Sect, and
dispatched his forces to their home base in Ise. However, with the aid of the
Saika Mercenaries the Ikko sect routed the Oda Army. Enraged by this defeat,
Nobunaga himself then led his forces towards Ise in an attempt to obliterate
the Ikko sect once and for all. Magoichi Saika stood alongside the Ikko forces
waiting to engage Nobunaga.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Shoukei or Magoichi Saika is defeated.
Yamasaki Crossfire-Field
Honganji Army vs Oda Army
Story- Ise-Nagashima fell to the Oda and Magoichi somehow managed to escape.
He reported back to Kennyo Honganji who immediately mobilized his troops to
stop Nobunaga's march to Osaka. The two armies would engage at Yamasaki.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Kennyo Honganji is defeated or Nobunga Oda reaches Clear
Point.
The Battle of Echizen-Field
Honganji Army vs Oda Army
Story- Magoichi Saika succeeded in routing the Oda Army. However this battle
was simply a diversion of Nobunaga's, whose true goal was to invade the Ikko
Sect's home base of Echizen. Magoichi rushed back to Echizen to guard against
the Oda Army.
Victory Condition- Mitsuhide Akechi is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Magoichi Saika is defeated or all pilgrims are defeated.
Skirmish at Kyoto-Field
Honganji Army vs Oda Army
Story- Magoichi succeeded in ridding Echizen of the Oda Army. However the Oda
Army gained tremendous power over the years and now the Ikko Sect was the only
power capable of stopping Nobunaga once and for all.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Kennyo Honganji or Magoichi Saika is defeated.
There are two ways of completing this stage. You either defeat Nobunaga after
Kennyo submits or before. Soon after the fire attack succeeds or fails Kennyo
will decide to surrender to Nobunaga. Before he reaches Nobunaga snipe him
from the platform and defeat him. If he reaches Nobunaga, completing this
stage unlocks Magoichi's Ending 2.
But this still won't work if you did not complete Magoichi's first 3 sniping
attempts on Nobunaga in the previous stages.
To reach the sniping point, head to the left of Nobunaga and then a right.
There is a wooden platform in that area. Shoot Nobunaga from there, he won't
see you. The defeat him before Kennyo submits.
Azuchi Infiltration-Castle
Magoichi vs Oda Army
Story- The Ikko Sect surrendered to Nobunaga. Years of hostility between the
two forces ended and Magoichi disappeared from the pages of history. But
months later, a daring individual would attempt an assault on Nobunaga's home
base of Azuchi.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Magoichi Saika is defeated.
Completing this stage unlocks Magoichi's Ending 1.

Ranmaru serves Nobunaga and his duty is to protect him. Nothing will drive him
away from that path, not even the betrayal of his best friend. Their main
enemy is the Akechi Clan.
Defense of Inabayama Castle-Field
Saito Army vs Oda Army
Story- After defeating Yoshimoto Imagawa at Okehazema, Nobunaga set his sights
on the neighboring fief of Mino. The Mino forces were no match for Nobunaga's
Oda Army and soon the the only stronghold left was the Saito Clan's home base
of Inabayama Castle. Due to the relentless assault by the Oda, the Saito Clan
was in shambles and Saito vassals, Mitsuhide Akechi and Ranmaru Mori, knew
they were at the crossroads of their destiny.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Defeat Condition- Yoshitatsu Saito is defeated.
The Battle of Ise-Field
Oda Army vs Honganji Army
Story- Nobunaga brought ruin to the Saito Clan. Former Saito vassal Ranmaru
Mori came into Nobunaga's service along with his friend and mentor Mitsuhide
Akechi. Ranmaru's first battle as an Oda vassal would be at Ise-Nagashima.
Victory Condition- All peasant troops are routed or eliminated.
Defeat Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
Betrayal at Honnouji-Field
Oda Army vs Akechi Army
Story- The Oda Clan achieved victory at Ise and continued to score victories
against all that stood in their path. It would seem that Nobunaga would be the
one to rule the land. However, as Nobunaga entered Honnouji in the capital city
of Kyoto, an unlikely individual would launch an assault in the dead of night.
Victory Condition- Nobunaga Oda reaches Escape Point.
Defeat Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
The Battle of Anegawa-Field
Oda Army vs Akechi-Tokugawa
Story- Thanks to the efforts of Ranmaru Mori and other loyal officers, Nobunaga
was able to escape death at Honnouji. However Mitsuhide formed an alliance with
the Tokugawa and sought again to eliminate his former lord. The Oda confronted
the new alliance at Anegawa.
Victory Condition- Mitsuhide Akechi and Ieyasu Tokugawa are defeated.
Defeat Condition- Nobunaga Oda is defeated.
In this battle, depending on how you won, you will either go to the "Gifu
Infiltration" stage or the "Defense of Azuchi Castle" stage. If you defeat
Ieyasu and Mitsuhide you will go to Gifu, but if you kill Mitsuhide, you will
go to Azuchi.
To kill Mitsuhide enter Ieyasu's camp before Mitsuhide arrives. This causes
Hanzo to make him escape and you will have to kill Mitsuhide. To defeat them
both, do not enter Ieyasu's camp. First, wait for Mitsuhide to arrive which
should happen soon after you get the mission to eliminate Ieyasu. Then defeat
them both.
