5. The Race Types
===============================================================================

This is a listing all of the different types of races that are in Kudos
Challenge.

-----------
Street Race
-----------

The most common race type in Kudos Challenge, you are up against 5 other cars
in a normal race. You have to place in the top three in order to finish the
race, unless you adjust the difficulty while in Kudos Challenge.

----------
One On One
----------

You are against up one car and if you win, you get that car. You can adjust
the difficulty to give either you or your opponent a head start.

----------------
Hot Lap - Single
----------------

A time trial where on at lest one lap, you have to get a lap time better than
the one set before the race. The amount of time you get for the lap can be
adjusted before the race. In this mode you always start a distance behind the
starting line so you can get up some speed before the race starts. The timer
won't start and you can't get any kudos until you cross the starting line.

-----------------
Hot Lap - Average
-----------------

Similar to Hot Lap - Single. Instead of having to beat the lap time on only
one lap, the average time of every lap has to be under the lap time. The lap
time can be adjusted before the race. Just like in Hot Lap - Single, you start
behind the starting line and the race does not start until you cross it.

------------------
Overtake Challenge
------------------

Your goal is to pass (Or overtake) a set number of the cars driving around the
track you're on. The number of cars you have to overtake can be adjusted before
the race.

---------------
Style Challenge
---------------

Here your goal is to get a certain amount of kudos before finishing the race.
There are cones and cone gates to help you get kudos and to become obstacles to
get in your way. Hitting any cones will be the same as hitting a wall, you'll
lose any kudos that you're about to get. Passing between two green cones will
give you some kudos and going through two blue cones will give you kudos based
on your speed as you pass through them. The amount of kudos you need to get can
be adjusted before the race.

---------
Timed Run
---------

In this mode you have a set time limit to complete an entire race. You have no
opponents but there are other cars on the track to get in your way. The amount
of time you get can be adjusted before the race.

--------------------
Total Laps Challenge
--------------------

Just like the name says, your challenge here is to complete a total number of
laps within the allotted time. The amount of laps you have to complete can be
adjusted before the race.

-------------------
Top Speed Challenge
-------------------

Obviously, your goal here is to reach a certain speed. All you have to do
is meet that speed and then wait for the time to run out. There are speed gates
(Blue cones) to help you get kudos in these. The speed you have to reach can be
adjusted before the race.

-----------------------
Average Speed Challenge
-----------------------

Instead of just reaching a certain speed like in the Top Speed Challenge, here
your speed is recorded whenever you cross a checkpoint and is averaged out. The
average which you must reach can be adjusted before the race.

===============================================================================
6. Quick Race
===============================================================================

All of the races in Quick Race are street races. You get a bronze medal for
coming in 3rd place, a silver medal for coming in 2nd place and a gold medal
for coming in 1st place. If you get at least a bronze medal on every race in a
level you unlock the next level, getting all golds will get you a new car. Any
kudos you get in this mode go towards your total kudos. Something very
important about this mode which you must know is that the cars you race against
are determined by the car you use, so your best car isn't always a good choice.
There were only three cars I used in this mode, the Audi TT (Either version),
the Skyline GTR for some races I couldn't beat with the Audi and the MINI
Cooper for races I had trouble with using either of those cars. Yes, the Cooper
can be much better than you'd think. You might not want to use to Skyline
because by the you have it unlocked, the car you get from the fourth level
won't be very useful. The sooner you get through this mode, the more advantage
you can have in Kudos Challenge.

********************************************
6.1 - Level 1: Easy
********************************************

I recommend using the Audi TT for all of these races. You shouldn't have too
much trouble winning as long as you don't screw up. And if you do, don't worry,
you can always restart the race (And you may need to a few times).

-------------
San Francisco
-------------
Location: San Francisco - Financial District
Track: Federal Reserve
Laps: 2
Advice: This race takes place on a VERY easy track. Nothing to worry about
(Just don't screw up the two left turns together right after the start) and
your opponents aren't a threat. Take it easy and you'll do fine.

------
London
------
Location: London - Westminster
Track: Big Ben
Laps: 2
Advice: This track is very easy as well. Make sure you don't take the first
turn too fast because it's not as wide as it may look at first. The other three
big turns can be taken a bit faster as they are actually wider. Don't worry
about your opponents being much of a problem, they aren't very challenging at
all in the very easy level (As you could have probably guessed).

-----
Tokyo
-----
Location: Tokyo - Asakusa
Track: Asakusa Challenge
Laps: 2
Advice: This track is a bit tricky compared to the last two. Once you pass the
first checkpoint and get off the bridge, you have to make a right into a narrow
street. This leads to the temple area where you have to make a sharp left onto
another narrow road. Before the turn there is a little area you can cut through
but it doesn't save you much time. Once you're on this new road you're going to
have to make a left onto ANOTHER narrow road, so be careful. After that you're
back on the bigger roads. Still, the other cars should be easy to beat so as
long as you don't screw up in that area by the temple you should be fine.

--------
New York
--------
Location: New York - Wall Street
Track: Water & Nassau
Laps: 2
Advice: After the first turn you will have to navigate a series of turns in
some tight corridors. They aren't as narrow as the ones on the last track, but
you still don't have all that much room to breathe. After about six of these
turns in the alleys you'll make a turn onto a big road. Make sure to slow down
at the end, because you have to make a sharp turn. As with the last three
races, you won't have to worry about your opponents if you don't make any bad
mistakes.

********************************************
6.2 - Level 2: Medium
********************************************

These get to be a little bit harder, but you still shouldn't have problems. I
would also recommend the Audio TT for every race in this level.

-------------
San Francisco
-------------
Location: San Francisco - Fishermans Wharf
Track: Russian Hill Challenge
Laps: 3
Advice: After the first two turns you'll briefly go onto a street that runs
diagonal and then you have to make a sharp turn to the left followed by a
right; so make sure to be prepared for them. After those, you go up a hill and
have to make a turn on top of the hill, take this a little bit slower you
would than a normal turn because it's easy to spin out on turns like this. The
next turn should also be taken somewhat slowly (Slowly for a turn, obviously)
but the next turn at the very top of the hill is even worse. If you take it too
fast, you're screwed, so take it slowly. On your way down the hill there are
three intersections, the turn is on the third one. You'll get some air off of
the first two so make sure you aren't going too fast before the second
intersection so you can land and safely make the turn. The other cars will be a
bit more competitive for this whole level but you still should be able to pull
ahead of them and stay ahead of them without much trouble. If you screw up on
one of the turns on a hill you'll probably fall far enough behind them to
warrant restarting.

------
London
------
Location: London - Trafalgar
Track: Admiralty Arch
Laps: 3
Advice: When you go by the park at the start of the race make sure you don't
hit the thing to the right, and after the left turn when you leave the area
with the small park make you don't hit the traffic lights in the middle of the
road. After you make the next left and onto the road with the first checkpoint,
stay out of the middle because there are many statues that you can easily hit
placed right in the middle of the street. At the end of this road there are
some stairs you have to jump down with a turn right after them. Make sure to
slow down before jumping off them to make the turn, even though it is wide.
Hitting the stairs too fast will cause you to hit the barrier on the other side
of the turn. On this street, make sure you watch out for the building that
spans the road and has arches that divide the road up into three parts. Again,
the cars you are facing aren't that much of a problem and you should easily
pull ahead of them all before you reach the stairs.

-----
Tokyo
-----
Location: Tokyo - Shibuya
Track: Shibuya Challenge II
Laps: 3
Advice: The first turn you have to take can be a real problem. I usually
either hit the inside of it or go too fast and hit the outside. Make sure to
get the timing of when to turn down so you don't screw up like I do. The next
couple of turns aren't enough to make you use your brake, but let off on the
accelerator for them. One you're on the other end of the track, you have to
make a left into the underpass area. Make sure to avoid the supports dividing
the road. Take the side on the right because it's easier to get into from the
last turn and easier to make the next turn when you use it. The other part is
also a bit narrow. After the checkpoint be sure to avoid the metal divider in
the middle of the road. The opponents seemed to be closer to me in this race
than in the last two, but it still isn't all that difficult to beat them.

--------
New York
--------
Location: New York - Central Park
Track: Park Loop Reverse
Laps: 3
Advice: The only thing you have to really worry about here is the semi-circle
you have to go in here for the first turn. You can easily slide through it or
slow down going into it and accelerate out of it. Your opponents slow down
significantly so you can easily get a big lead on them here. After the end of
the next road you have to make a left, then a right, then another left. After
the first left you should be going slow enough to easily make it through the
next two turns. Opponents won't bother you much if you can make it through that
first turn quickly. If you don't, you can still easily pass them on the
straightaways.

********************************************
6.3 - Level 3: Hard
********************************************

This is where things start to become difficult. You could still use the Audi TT
for San Francisco, London, and New York but no matter how hard I tried I wasn't
able to get better than second in Tokyo with it.

-------------
San Francisco
-------------
Location: San Francisco - Pacific Heights
Track: Historic District Challenge
Laps: 4
Advice: The track itself isn't much of a challenge, but getting into first
place can be. It can take about the whole first lap for you to get into first
place, so don't worry if you're halfway through the lap and still in second.
Make sure to be careful on the street with the planters with trees in them
before the seconds checkpoint.

------
London
------
Location: London - St. James' Park
Track: St. James's Park
Laps: 4
Advice: The first and second turns here are a bit tight, so watch out. After
the long straightaway make sure you slow down enough to make the turn, it isn't
a difficult turn but it's easy to brake to late on long straightaways and not
make the turn after them. After that turn you make a turn onto a road that gets
narrow near the end and makes a sharp turn onto a street with monuments in the
middle. It's easy to get in first place in the beginning of the race, but the
computer won't hesitate to pass you in the later parts of the lap. Make sure
that once you get into first that you don't let your opponents take it.

-----
Tokyo
-----
Location: Tokyo - Asakusa
Track: Eki-Mae Hairpin
Laps: 4
Advice: This one is a real pain. No matter what I did, I wasn't able to come in
first in anything less than the Skyline, although you may have some success with
the MINI Cooper. The track itself isn't much of a problem, it's your opponents.
You do end up in the temple area a few blocks after you get off the second
bridge and after you leave the temple area and make a right there is a big
street with a very sharp turn after it.

--------
New York
--------
Location: New York - Wall Street
Track: Whitehall to Wall
Laps: 4
Advice: Don't worry, this track isn't nearly as bad as it looks. A lot of it
takes place on bigger roads instead of the alleys that are all too common here.
Once you get near the park (Between the checkpoints) the turns start to get a
little bit tighter. After the area with the park you get to face the tunnel for
the first time. Take the left side of it. Most of the cars will go to the right
and being on this side makes it much easier to pass them. It also seems to be
easier to avoid hitting the walls on this side. Upon exiting the tunnel veer to
the right because you have to go onto a very narrow road to the right of the
freeway entrance. At the end of this road you have to make a left in these
narrow corridors, but make sure you don't turn to sharply because the way this
turn is set up that can send you straight into a wall. The opponents here are
nothing compared to what you have to deal with in Tokyo of this level. It still
probably will take you awhile to plant yourself in first place, I didn't get
into first place until I got in the tunnel.

********************************************
6.4 - Level 4: Very Hard
********************************************

This level is a real pain. You are going to probably have to restart many time
until you get the track down and can get through it without making any mistakes
and without letting the other cars pass you. You can still use the Audi TT for
some races here (San Francisco and New York) but in London and Tokyo I would
recommend using the MINI Cooper.

-------------
San Francisco
-------------
Location: San Francisco - Fishermans Wharf
Track: The Tour
Laps: 5
Advice: Getting into first place shouldn't be that hard at the beginning of the
race, you should be able to do it on the first or second turn. After the first
checkpoint you have to make a left then a very sharp turn to the right at the
top of a very small hill. Take this too fast and you could spin out. At the top
of the big hill you get to take the switchback. Going too fast when you turn
off of the big hill will cause you to spin out and can easily cost you the
race. Right after this checkpoint you have to make a turn onto a narrow road
and then into the 180-degree turn that makes up the switchback. My advice for
taking that turn is to use your handbrake until you're facing the right way.
After that and the right turn there are a series of small hills. Make sure you
slow down before the last one so that you can make the turn.

------
London
------
Location: London - Westminster
Track: Bridge St.
Laps: 5
Advice: I had more trouble on this than on any other race in Quick Race mode.
The MINI Cooper is the car of choice here. On the first big turn you might not
want to slide, you need every bit of speed that you can get coming out of it.
Once you've made it through the turn you should be in second or third place.
Go as fast as you possibly can from here, you probably won't have to slow down
where the road bends, until you get to the next big turn. Take it slowly, but
not too slowly, and steer around the thing in the middle. Around now you should
be able to pass the car in first place. Continue on and slow down if you need
to on the bends. It might not look like you need to slow down on this next turn
but you do and if you don't and hit the wall, it'll probably cost you the
entire race. The next series of turns are very easy to take and shouldn't give
you any trouble.

-----
Tokyo
-----
Location: Tokyo - Shinjuku
Track: Koshu Kaido Nishi
Laps: 6
Advice: Also use the MINI Cooper here. There isn't much to worry about on the
track itself, this one isn't that bad. Just make sure to navigate the series of
turns before the first checkpoint slow enough to not slam into anything. At the
end, make sure you don't hit the thing in the middle of the street dividing the
street.

--------
New York
--------
Location: New York - Times Square
Track: East to West 40th
Laps: 4
Advice: You should probably go back to using the Audi TT for this one. On the
first turn try to avoid the other cars as much as you can. The next two turns
are very easy and once you're through them you should be able to get into first
place. After the first checkpoint you have to make a left then a right placed
right next to each other. Past those you have to make a couple more turns,
although they are more spaced out. At the end of the long street you have to
make a left onto a narrow road, slow down a lot to take it. You also turn off
of this onto a narrow street but you're back on the bigger streets after this.

===============================================================================
7. Arcade Race
===============================================================================

All of the races in Arcade race mode are style challenges. The medal you get
for each race is based on how many kudos you get in the race. The amount of
kudos you need for each medal varies depending on the race. Getting at least a
bronze medal in every race on a level will unlock the next level. Getting a
gold medal in every race on a level will unlock a new car. Before you attempt
these, you might want to unlock the Exige because it is very useful for getting
Kudos. I used the Exige for almost all of these races, so keep that in mind.
Although if you use the Exige, the cars you unlock in this mode won't be all
that useful.
If you want to win gold here you will have to do lots of combos. To help you
continue combos when there are long stretches of road and no cones or turns,
you will have to force yourself to slide. To do it, either tap the handbrake
until you slide or weave left and right until you start to slide. Be careful
when doing this, because you can loose control and hit a wall easily.
Note: The strategies here start with you starting the race and end at the end
of the first lap, but since nothing on the track changes you can obviously
apply this to every lap.
Note number 2: You don't always have to force slides when I say to in the
earlier levels. If you do follow my advice to the word you should be able to
get a very high number of kudos, but you don't need nearly that much to get a
medal for the race.

********************************************
7.1 - Level 1: Easy
********************************************

This is just an introduction to what's to come in the later levels. It's not
very difficult to get golds here if you just combo a little.

-------------
San Francisco
-------------
Location: San Francisco - Financial District
Track: Pier Run
Medal Requirements: Gold - 1200 Kudos; Silver - 800 Kudos; Bronze - 400 Kudos
Laps: 2
Advice: I'd have to say this is the easiest track for getting kudos there is.
You can combo through the whole thing without much effort. Drive through the
first sets of cones at the beginning, slide around this first corner and then
head down this street. Slide through this corner, pass the speed gate and
checkpoint and then slide through the next corner. Reach the corner and slide
again. Steer through the cone gates here and slide around the next corner. If
you want to continue your combo all the way down this street you're going to
have to force yourself to slide. When you get to them, slide around the next
two corners. Pass through the cone gates on this street and you get back to the
starting line. Do all of that again and you can get the whole thing done in
one massive combo.

------
London
------
Location: London - Trafalgar
Track: Trafalgar Challenge
Medal Requirements: Gold - 800 Kudos; Silver - 550 Kudos; Bronze - 300 Kudos
Laps: 2
Advice: There aren't as many cone gates here as there were in the last race, so
you have to force yourself to slide more to get a big combo. At the start there
are gates on either side of the thing on the street and a big gap between those
and the next ones at the turn. There's another big gap past here. The next gate
is a bit past the turn and then there is yet another gap between this and the
next one. There are a few sets of gates close to each other but then there is
another gap until you go through the building with the arches in the road.
You can slide through that turn to help you combo. After that there is another
area with no gates then a turn onto the stairs. At the top of the stairs there
is a speed gate to the left of the statue and a normal gate to the right. Go
through the speed gate on the left. There are two more normal gates on either
side of the next statue then ANOTHER stretch of nothing. Now there will be a
few cone gates set up in between a path of normal cones that will force
you to go left and right. Slow down a little bit so you don't hit the cones.
After this, there is a big turn for you to slide around and a speed gate right
before the starting line.

-----
Tokyo
-----
Location: Shibuya
Track: Meiji Dori Loop II
Medal Requirements: Gold - 900 Kudos; Silver - 600 Kudos; Bronze - 300 Kudos
Laps: 2
Advice: Right at the start go to the right of the barrier and not to the left.
Go through the gates and then the speed gate that is at the end. Force a slide
after that to get you to the checkpoint. Slide across the corner past that and
then come up to the underpass. You will have to choose which side to go under.
The right has a speed gate at the end but the one in the middle has a couple of
normal gates making it easier to combo through. Either way, slide around the
next corner when you get there and then force a slide to get to the next speed
gate. Force slide again after that until you get to the series of gates and the
checkpoint. You can make it between the gates fast enough so don't slide,
you'll probably hit the cones if you do, anyway. Slide through the two turns
and then pass three cones gates in front of the starting line.

--------
New York
--------
Location: New York - Times Square
Track: 6th Ave South
Medal Requirements: Gold - 800 Kudos; Silver - 550 Kudos; Bronze - 300 Kudos
Laps: 2
Advice: The space between the cone gate right after the start and the next one
is too big to connect the kudos from both with a combo, so if you want to do a
combo you will have to force yourself to slide. This is also the space between
the second cone gate and the one near the turn. Force a slide if you want to
continue your combo. After the turn there is also a very large gap, but at the
end there are a couple of cone gates and a speed gate. This is followed by
another gap, then a few more cone gates and a checkpoint. You can make it to
the corner and pull off a slide without forcing a slide. After that there is a
speed gate on this next street and another gap between that and the corner.
Here there is a series of cone gates close enough so you won't have to force
a slide.

********************************************
7.2 - Level 2: Normal
********************************************

Things will be starting to get harder in this level and you'll have to pull of
a lot more combos in order to get gold medals.

-------------
San Francisco
-------------
Location: San Francisco - Pacific Heights
Track: Victorian Mansion Loop
Medal Requirements: Gold - 1200 Kudos; Silver - 950 Kudos; Bronze - 700 Kudos
Laps: 2
Advice: Start by going through the cone gates on this first street, forcing a
slide after you pass by the last gate and then sliding through the turn. Go
through these next gates and then slide around the corner. There are no cones
at all on this street, so if you want to continue your combo you are going to
have to force a few slides. Slide around the corner at the end and then slide
around the next one. Quickly get to the right side of the road and pass
through the speed gate and pass the checkpoint. You're going to have to force
some more slides after that. Force a slide to get through the rest of the
street and after the turn, force another one or two to get around this next
turn. Pass the cone gates around this turn and when you get out of it, you'll
probably have to force a slide, but make sure you stay in the middle of the
street because there is a speed gate and some normal cones atop the hill.
Force yet another slide here and go to the LEFT of the planters. There is one
gate here, one in between them and one to the right of them. Pass through these
gates if you wish. After clearing them go through the cones, take the jump and
then pass the checkpoint. Slide around the corner and force a slide to make it
to the speed gate. Force another one to get to the next corner. Force a slide
down this hill and pass the gate on the next one. Around the corner there is a
street with three gates across it. Go through them and force another slide on
the street after the turn. Make the turn and get to the starting line.

------
London
------
Location: London - St. James' Park
Track: St. James's Bridge
Medal Requirements: Gold - 700 Kudos; Silver - 575 Kudos; Bronze - 450 Kudos
Laps: 2
Advice: Start out by going through all the gates in the circle. You can slide
through them all for even more kudos. Go through the right turn and pass
through all of the cone gates. Force a slide through the gap and pass through
the cones and the checkpoint. Before the turn, you'll have to force another
slide. Slide through the turn and force another slide to get to the next cone
gate. You should have enough speed to make it across the bridge, through the
gates and the checkpoint without needing to slide. After you get off of the
bridge, force a slide to get to the next cones and slide through this turn. Go
through all of these gates to make it back to the starting line.

-----
Tokyo
-----
Location: Tokyo - Asakusa
Track: Niten Mon-Mae
Medal Requirements: Gold - 700 Kudos; Silver - 525 Kudos; Bronze - 350 Kudos
Laps: 2
Advice: You start facing the alley that leads to/from the temple. There are no
cones in here, so if you want kudos you're going to have to force some slides
in here. Since this alley is so narrow, I wouldn't say that it's the best thing
you could do. Once you get out of it, slide through the turn, go through the
gate and then slide through the next turn as well. Pass the two gates on this
street and then slide into this alley which has the first checkpoint. Pass the
speed gate after the checkpoint and then slide around the next two corners. Go
through the gates here (It doesn't matter if you go left or right for the first
ones) and then slide around the next turn. You may have to force a slide in
this tight space to get to the next cone gate and the checkpoint. Speed through
the next two cone gates and force a slide to get to the next gate. Once in the
temple area take the first left where some cone gates are located and finish
the lap.

--------
New York
--------
Location: New York - Central Park
Track: The Pond Tour
Medal Requirements: Gold - 700 Kudos; Silver - 600 Kudos; Bronze - 500 Kudos
Laps: 2
Advice: At the start of this race by go through all of the cone gates in front
of you. Slide around the first corner and pass the speed gate. Force a slide to
get to the next cone gates and the first checkpoint. Force another slide to get
to the speed gate up ahead and force another one after it. You can squeeze
through the area on the left to pass another speed gate or you can just slide
by it on the road. Go through the turns up ahead and a few cone gates. Force a
slide again to make it to the checkpoint and the next cone gates. Force a slide
yet again before the turn and then slide on through the turn after that. Stick
to the right side of the road to pass the next gate and then hit the gate
before the starting line. You may need to force a slide to make it to the
starting line if you want to continue your combo.

********************************************
7.3 - Level 3: Hard
********************************************

This level is where you might start having problems. Getting a gold medal in
San Francisco can be very difficult.

-------------
San Francisco
-------------
Location: San Francisco - Fishermans Wharf
Track: Hotel Circle
Medal Requirements: Gold - 2400 Kudos; Silver - 2000 Kudos; Bronze - 1600 Kudos
Laps: 3
Advice: Start out by going through the cone gates in front of you. Slide around
the corner and pass through this cone gate. To make it to the next cone gate,
you're going to probably have to force a slide. Start sliding for the turn
before you reach the speed gate, otherwise you might not make it in time to
continue your combo. Before the soft turn to the right, go up on the curb so
you can make a small jump to get you some kudos. Slide around the corner and
then through the cone gate. Pass the checkpoint, slide through this corner and
force a slide to get up to the next gate. Slide through this turn at the top of
the hill (Just be careful not to spin out) and then slide through the next cone
gate. If you want to continue your combo here, you're going to have to risk
trying to force a slide here without hitting the side. I stopped here, but you
can still go for it. Slide around the corner at the top and pass through the
gates. For this next turn, you should slow down and slide by tapping your brake
and then accelerating and NOT by using the handbrake. It's far too easy to spin
out if you use your handbrake on this turn. Pass through the speed gate on the
left, make the jump between the cones and then pass the checkpoint and speed
gate. Slow down before the last jump so you don't hit the wall and then slide
through the corner, passing another gate. Force a slide to make it to the sharp
turn atop the small hill. Slide through it and then slide through the gate on
the next turn to get back to the starting line.

London
------
Location: London - St. James' Park
Track: Cabinet War Rooms
Medal Requirements: Gold - 1200 Kudos; Silver - 1050 Kudos; Bronze - 900 Kudos
Laps: 3
Advice: Slide through the first turn and force a slide to get to the first cone
gates. Go through either one, it doesn't matter which. Slow down before jumping
the stairs to make the turn and then slide to the right when you land. Pass the
speed gate and force slide your way to the turn. You can slide through the turn
and make it to the first checkpoint without have to force an additional slide.
After the checkpoint, force a short slide to make it to the next two gates.
After you pass them, force another slide to get to the next gate and then force
yet another one after that to get to the last gate before the turn. After the
turn you're going to have to force slide your way all the way to a speed gate
past the bridge if you want to continue your combo. Force another slide after
that gate and then slide through the turn. Go through all of the gates and
force a slide after the speed gate to make it to the next gates. Slide through
the turns, but stick to the left on the last one, there is a speed gate at the
end.

Tokyo
-----
Location: Tokyo - Shinjuku
Track: Minami-Guchi Mae
Medal Requirements: Gold - 1600 Kudos; Silver - 1350 Kudos; Bronze - 1100 Kudos
Laps: 3
Advice: Go through the five cone gates at the start and then force a slide to
make it to the turn. Go through the cone gates on this next street and slide
around the corner. Pass the checkpoint and cones gates and then slide around
this corner. Stick to the right side of the cones to pass a speed gate. In
order to get to the next gate you'll have to force some more slides. After
these gates, you're going to probably have to force a slide again to make it to
the turn. Slide through the S-bend and continue on through the cone gates, past
the checkpoint. Once you make the next turn you'll have to quickly decide i
you want to go on the left or right side of the street. The left has a very
narrow cone gate near the middle but the right has a speed gate at the end.
Either way, you'll have to force slide your way through if you want your combo
to continue. Slide through the turn and force a slide to make it back to the
starting line.

New York
--------
Location: New York - Wall Street
Track: State & Battery
Medal Requirements: Gold - 1600 Kudos; Silver - 1350 Kudos; Bronze - 1100 Kudos
Laps: 3
Advice: Go through the gates at the beginning and then slide through the turn.
You'll have to force a few slides to make it to the next cone gate at the turn.
Past the turn, go through the checkpoint and through the cone gates. After
going through the cone gate around the corner, force a small slide and turn.
Force another slide again to get to the next set of cone gates. It doesn't
matter which side you choose here, they're all normal cone gates. Go around the
corner and through the speed gate. When you get to the next corner, slide
through it and then go through the gates. Slide again and pass the checkpoint.
Go to the left of the cones to reach the speed gate here and then slide through
the turn. On this street you'll have to force a slide to make it to the next
turn. Pass the two gates, force a slide and then pass the gates to the right of
the cones. Slide through the turn and pass the last gate to make it back to the
starting line.

San Francisco
-------------
Location: San Francisco - Fishermans Wharf
Track: Fish Alley
Medal Requirements: Gold - 1800 Kudos; Silver - 1600 Kudos; Bronze -
1400 Kudos
Laps: 3
Advice: Slide around the corner in front of you as you start and pass through
all of the gates on this street. Slide through the speed gate in the middle of
the next corner and slide around the corner at the top of the small hill. Slide
again, around the next two corners, and pass through the speed gate. Slide
around the next corner and go to the left of the first set of cones, right of
the second, left of the third and right of the fourth to get all of the gates.
When you reach the next corner, slide around it and then pass the speed gate.
You're probably starting to run low on time now, if you are, don't worry. There
are no gates at all on the street with the checkpoint, so to continue your
combo you'll have to force a slide. After the turn, pass a speed gate and then
there is another gap where you'll have to force a slide to continue your combo.
Make sure to turn a bit early for the big turn because there are cones on the
outside of it that are very easy to hit. Force a slide to make it to the next
two turns. Force a slide again to get to the checkpoint and force another one
to get from the checkpoint to the next series of cone gates. After the cone
gates, slide around the corner and pass the two gates before the starting line.
