Our Animal here has is own unique stance... Wow. Anyway, he ain't bad in the
ring. I actually found him one of the most fun wrestlers to use. He's all about
brawling, with weapons or without them. His good combo abilities in his tie-ups
are worth the loss in mat skills. He can also combo one of his ready moves, the
Sit Out Chokeslam. Keep dealing hits and grab weapons when you can and you
should be able to win most fights fairly quickly.
FINISHER: Flying Hammerlock
For this, you need the Full Nelson ISP. Get in a behind grapple, or
do a front grapple and press the Left Trigger to turn him around. To
get to the Full Nelson, press B another time. Next, move the Right
Thumbstick to execute the submission.

Tony Atlas is a brawling-focused wrestler. He can take hits and can deal them
as well because of his good toughness and strength. His abilities range from
brawling to corners, but in not one of his ability he is truly exceptional. No
weapons with this guy, just plain knocking down and eventually a turnbuckle or
an apron. He doesn't have a lot of combo abilities, but seeing his mat skills
this doesn't really matter. Brawl, brawl, brawl...
FINISHER: Gorilla Press Slam
This is a normal ready move, so just get in front of your opponent
and close enough to make contact with the throw. Move the Right
Thumbstick to do the Gorilla Press Slam.

The Dragon should definitely be handled as a High Flyer. That means making use
of turnbuckles and aprons often. His speed should ease this up a bit, and so
will it help evading hits. You'll need to avoid to trade hits with this one or
you will be KO in no-time. His submission abilities are pretty good and have
high priority when your opponents are on the ground. Unfortunately, Steamboat's
combo ability is pretty much miserable when it comes to dealing damage, and
that when we finally have someone with good mat skills... perhaps Acclaim made
a mistake here.
FINISHER: Crossbody
Your opponent should be dizzy, but still standing up right near a
turnbuckle. Hold the Left Thumbstick in the direction of the post
and move the Right Thumbstick to do a Crossbody.

The all-time partner of the Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, can best beat his
opponents to the ground with ready strikes. He does possess a combo ability in
his ready moves (Sit Out Chokeslam) and an amount of them in his tie-up moves,
but his mat skills simply can't cope with this. That doesn't mean you should
never grapple, because he has ability for it. This isn't the best character
in the game but should still be able to win if you only brawl enough.
FINISHER: Back Breaker
This one's pretty hard to do in time. You can best do it when your
opponent has a long recovery time. First, make sure he's bent over.
If not, make him bend over by using Chop. Then get behind him and
move the Right Thumbstick to execute the Back Breaker.

Again an all-rounded wrestler, Ted DiBiase's main objective should be to get
the crowd cheering him on. When this happens, he can go and make mince-meat out
of any who stand in his way because of his high charisma rating. Futher, a
submission from time to time would be wise. Brawling shouldn't be done to often
even though he has a little ability for it. His strength isn't high enough to
deal some real damage.
FINISHER: DiBiase Dream
It's actually a Head Arm Choke, so you'll need a Full Nelson ISP. Get
behind an opponent and grapple him, then press B to get into the
needed position. Or you can grapple him normally, then pull the Left
Trigger to turn him around and then press B to get to Full Nelson.
When in the ISP, move the Right Thumbstick to do the DiBiase Dream.

Tito Santana is again an almost perfectly all-rounded wrestler. I think he
would be a nice beginner's character if he didn't rely so much on high-risk
moves. You're gonna be using them a lot with this Mexican, turnbuckles in the
ring and aprons outside. You can basically go anywhere with this guy, just
look at his abilities to see which moves should be common throughout your
game: risky moves first, then submissions, grapples, and charges.
FINISHER: Flying Forearm
To do Tito Santana's finisher, you have to be running towards an
opponent who is standing, then move the Right Thumbstick when you are
near enough.
