9. SECRETS
******************************************************************************

There are three ways to unlock songs in this game. One is to play Quest Mode.
At times, there may be people who would like you to trade in flags. Do so,
and you may get one of the secret songs.

The second way is different for every song. Here's the list of "normal"
unlocks.

BRILLIANT R•E•D by NAOKI feat. Tahirih Walker
 Unlock: Earn 95,000,000 points on any song with a difficulty of 9+

Colors (Midihead's Sapphire Mix) by Midihead
 Unlock: Get AA on Jelly Kiss and Raise Your Hands on the three main
  difficulties.

Dança de Yuka by Big Idea
 Unlock: Pass Rock-A-Billy Willy on the three main difficulties.

ever snow by YOMA KOMATSU
 Unlock: Get an A on BREAK DOWN! and Firefly on any difficulty.

Frozen Ray (DIRTYHERTZ Mix) by dj TAKA
 Unlock: Get 40 OKs on Freeze Arrows on any song.

Giudecca by DJ SETUP
 Unlock: Get a AA or higher on bag, Sakura, and The legend of MAX, all on
  Heavy.

Himawari by Riyu from Be For U
 Unlock: Get an A on Carnival Day, Sunflower Girl, and CANDY* on the three main
  difficulties.

Insaner by Jondi & Spesh
 Unlock: Get a score of higher than 400,000 in the Credits mini-game.

Jelly Kiss (Midihead's Smack Mix) by Midihead
 Unlock: Play 10 songs?

LOVE THIS FEELIN' (ZONK REMIX) by ZONK
 Unlock: Get a AA on any song, any difficulty.

Music to Your Head by Slake
 Unlock: Get an A on Miracle Moon, KISS ME ALL NIGHT LONG, and e-motion on any
  difficulty.

PARADE OF THE WOODEN SOLDIERS by Leon Jessel
 Unlock: It should be automatically unlocked by now. It automatically unlocks
  any time after Christmas Day, 2005.

Rainbow Flyer by dj TAKA
 Unlock: Get a AAA on any song, any difficulty.

Right On Time by DJ NAGUREO/Robbie Danzie
 Unlock: Get an A on Destiny lovers and Daikenkai on any difficulty.

The legend of MAX
 Unlock: Get a non-failing grade on every regular song on Single, any
  difficulty.

The third way is to use the secret "unlock all songs" code. To do this, go
into Options, then to Credits, to play the Credits mini-game. Here's how
it works: whatever the arrows tell you, do the OPPOSITE. If it tells you to
step Up, hit Down. If it tells you Left, hit Right. If it tells you to do
a Left/Right jump, hit Up/Down (kinda not really opposite, but that's how it
goes). Do this a few times until a tone is heard and all hidden songs will
be unlocked, as well as the two hidden dances, Honey, and B'.

The other way to unlock the hidden dancers is to trade in flags in Quest Mode
and get all puzzle pieces for their pictures.

This FAQ was made 100% by me, and is Copyright © 2006 Scott "CyricZ"
Zdankiewicz. You may not take it in whole or in part and claim it as your
own. You may not alter it in any way, even if you ask me first, and that
includes putting it in HTML format. Please don’t post this on your site
unless you have express consent by me. I’ve put a lot of time into this.
Give me some credit...

All songs and their lyrics are copyright their respective owners. DDR is
Copyright © 1998-2006 Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo.

Currently, the following sites have permission to post my FAQ:

www.cheatcc.com
www.gamefaqs.com
www.ign.com

I'm not going to allow people with small personal sites to post this FAQ.
They may post the link on CheatCC with all the DDRUM3 guides, but, trying to
keep updates, well, updated, I'll only allow large committed sites that I
trust.

10B. E-mail Guidelines =
========================

If you wish to e-mail me, be sure to follow these guidelines...

- Make ABSOLUTELY sure I haven't already answered your question in the guide.
- Make sure it has something to do with DDR Ultramix 3. I don't want spam,
 chain letters, offers for friendship. Don't bother me with info on other DDR
 games, really. I keep my ear pretty close to the ground about such things,
 and I'll probably know about it before you. Compliment me on the FAQ all you
 want, though...
- Make sure you say "DDR Ultramix 3" at one point in your e-mail. I have more
 than one DDR FAQ, and I can't always figure the question out without
 specifying what game you're asking about.
- Asking how to beat a song will result in a deletion. Unfortunately, I'm not
 in a position to offer advice for this game.
- Spell correctly and use proper grammar, please. If I can't understand
 your e-mail, it'll go to the junk pile...

10C. Credits =
==============

CJayC and Al Amaloo for having this on their sites.

www.animelyrics.com, for compiling, catalouging, and translating tons of
lyrics, including those in the DDR games.

Konami and the BEMANI studio, for their effort in bringing a superb game to
the States.

======================
10D. Version Updates =
======================

Version 0.5 - 1/30/06 - Still a lot of space to fill, even with the fact that
 I've cut out my usual walking-through stuff. I've posted full lyrics for
 the songs, so if anyone wants to snip those for me for the DDR edits, I'd
 appreciate it.

=====================
10E. The Final Word =
=====================

Yeah, real sorry I couldn't give you the whole nine yards on this one, unless
someone has an X-BOX they're willing to hand out. >_>
