Knowing Corath had a demon's satchel, she knew a minion of the
Narakan Hells must serve him. She wasted no time and made way to the
Lower Darklands, the most likely place for a demon to reside in the
mortal world. There, she found Jinn, the demon Corath had summoned.
Jinn's eyes were pitch and her skin ebony black with fire flickering
about her body. Jinn, was the antithesis of Eyara, nature's guardian
versus nature's destroyer!

Long ago, Eyara spent many years with Phade. As children they
attended the same orphanage, both losing their parents at 8 years old.
Her memories troubled her, but Eyara always used the loss of her family
as motivation to strive for better things. In some way, she thought
they watched over her... from beyond the grave. She met with Phade, whom
she saw immediately was an imposter. Without pause, they drew weapons!

As Eyara traveled to the far away Eastern Shores of the Cordene
Sea, she stopped to rest at The Forgotten Ruins north of her home in
the Venomous Swamp. From behind and assassin leapt to surprise Eyara.
It was another impersonator... this time of Phade.

Eyara wept over the horrible words spoken by the demon, Jinn.
Were the beast's claims true? Was she responsible somehow for the
slaughter of the greenling village and for its being burned to the
ground? This wizard, Corath, summoned the demon and so he would know
the truth... With determination, she rose and marched all the way into
the Land of Desolation. Corath stood before her, his demon Jinn
recalled at his side. Eyara attacked!

Argos, Eyara ran without stop to Shorestone Castle. Panting as she
entered, she nearly collapsed. Princess Keela was shackled on all
fours at the feet of the wizard Corath. He snickered and arose to
engage Eyara!

hissed. She warned Eyara to leave, else this would be the last day of
her life. They joined battle!

Eyara returned to the Venomous Swamp, only to find a Pillar of
Corruption had been erected in her grove. She saw a dark version of
herself standing guard, a nemesis shade of Eyara! It was borne of the
corrupting magic and Eyara's sorrows, made real by the pillar's twisted
magic.

Eyara freed Princess Keela. Keela told Eyara that she overheard
Corath direct the demon Jinn to go to the sewers where an object he
called the Pillar of Corruption was to be. Eyara was very tired but
this was no time to rest. She meditated for a moment and rose, just
enough strength restored to push onward. She found the demon Jinn deep
in the Underground Sewers defending a pillar that arced with
electricity. Jinn's body glowed a purple hue as she approached Eyara
and she attacked!

Hearing the demon's threat of Corath and his master Zaugg
destroying Barbaria, Eyara searched Corath's library for clues as to
where he might be. She noticed a picture on his study wall of the
beaches near the Lower Darklands. It was her best guess... and she went
immediately there. She found Corath, covered in an aura of purple,
guarding a Pillar that pulsed with electricity arcing about it. Corath
stood, glowing as he was, and attacked.

Eyara saw the portal and knew that it led to where the land's
stolen life energy went. She knew it led to the arch mage Zaugg. She
readied herself, took a deep breath, and entered. She emerged atop a
fortress built far out in the dead sea and saw a tremendous man made of
stone. I looked at her. Eyara, you are alone in this world so why do
you care for it so? You would not let it die... and so you must die...
When the gods dare not challenge me, what naivety makes you think you
can? Do you not know who I am? I am Zaugg!!!

COMBO RUNE ([]): "DAMAGE SHIELD." Corath will raise his Gauntlet up
high and cast a swirling orange particle shield around his body.
During this time, any attack made against Corath, blocked or not will
result in reciprocated damage back to the attacker. Press the R2
Button to release the attack.
THROW RUNE (U): "DAMAGE BONUS." Corath will clutch his fists and lean
back and will draw power from the ground as singled by a yellow glow.
During this time, Corath's attacks will become more powerful. Press
the R2 Button to release the attack.
OBJECT RUNE (X): Corath will raise his Gauntlet and strike the ground
thereby producing a wall of flame in five directions around him which
will juggle any opponent that is in mid-range around him. Also, this
attack is good against one or multiple opponents as well as if you need
to catch a little breather. That's a spicy mea-ta-ball! Press the R2
Button to release the attack.
COUNTER RUNE (/\): Corath will let out a yellow sonic circular wave
that will knock every enemy in the immediate vicinity on their behinds.
This attack is great when you are being triple-teamed by three or more
people at once. Press the R2 Button to release the attack.

The apprentice to Zaugg, both a wizard and a warrior by training,
finished his spell of summoning... The gates to the hells of Naraka were
opened and the Demon Jinn was released to do his bidding... She appeared
before Corath, , but as with all summoned demons they resist servitude...
and they must be overpowered. He attacked the demon!

undead with free will like Magnus, but he was weak minded and readily
cowed into taking direction. He came upon the scared Stitch within the
sewers and set to beat him into submission to do his will.

idle to see if it was true. He journeyed to the Lost Fortress of
Skurlok to confront Dagan of the Clan Dolok, one hero who might be the
hero of prophecy... if he lived long enough to fulfill it. Corath
attacked!

Castle and confronted Princess Keela, now the ruler of his despised
Kingdom of Argos! Arrogantly, he approached her, announced himself
Corath, ruler of the Eastern Empire and enemy of Argos. With that he
attacked!

soon to be placed in the Lower Darklands by Zaugg... and that Naraka was
preparing to use it to channel its dark influence into the area. She
told Corath that the magic force used to puncture the land bridged
Naraka and the mortal world, as it drained life and magic from the
land, the drained substance of Barbaria was filled by the evil nectar
of Naraka... Its dark hellish negative energy... Corath journeyed and
began to prepare for the pillar... so he could tap into it, but Princess
Keela found him and proclaimed him an affront to Argos... She said her
scouts had traveled undefended, and this was a mistake. She attacked
the ruler of her opposing kingdom!

Learning that an escaped prisoner from the Prisons of Akrowla was
searching for Mongo as well, Corath intercepted him... While Stitch
hunted the ape, Corath would terminate this interfering fool... He found
him in the Forgotten Ruins and when asked why he hunted the ape, the
hulking man just said he wanted a friend... Corath laughed and attacked
him!

transformed by some rock he had eaten... or so said sources. Corath was
entertained, for he wondered where Bloodsong had gone... He needed it to
render himself immune to death, and it was one part of the relics of
ascendancy. If he could find all of the relics, he could become a god
and overcome his master Zaugg he thought... He traveled to the Forgotten
Ruins to find Mongo, the mutant ape... Corath could sense powerful magic
within Mongo... and wanting it, attacked him!

timing was delicate and he would have to take it from Mongo while he
was still free and alive, and so he fought him!

tell him that he refused to become the ruler of the combined empires of
the west and the east... he told Corath that with Princess Keela slain,
Argos had no ruler... and if he slew the Eastern Ruler, Corath, he would
be able to unite the two factions before war tore Barbaria apart...
Corath grinned and they joined Combat!

angered and decided it was time she was educated on such foolish
desires... He found Phade, who looked indignant... Corath attacked the
assassin!

only by his cell number, 21. He knew that he was one of the few
children borne of the age of prophecy who had not been identified by
the seers of Barbaria... Of course, his master Zaugg knew of him... ...and
to ensure 21 fulfilled no destiny except death, Corath came to him
within Akrowla to kill him!

Corath, angered by the defiant Magnus, went to check on Phade's
progress. He had hired her to kill Dagan, his wife, and Keela some
time ago, but had heard nothing. He was glad he'd employed Magnus and
Stitch to do much the same work... making sure it would be done. Phade
met him with hatred and said that her job was hers alone and she would
not be toyed with by an untrusting employer... She attacked!

Corath journeyed to Shorestone Castle to claim the throne as his
own, for Keela was long dead and the realm knew it. When he arrived,
however, he found Keela was alive! He left her dead... Keela, donning
new armor, told Corath that her father saved her from death's door and
her body was mended by an angel... Corath had never heard of such
madness and set to kill her... again!

While collecting rare ingredients for his magic, Corath entered
the Lost Fortress of Skurlok. Forestsong hummed and vibrated, telling
Corath danger was near. He was surprised to see Mongo, for he had
slain him and taken Bloodsong from his heart... though he thought it
impossible, Corath gripped Bloodsong and charged the raised beast!

Corath decide it was time to go to Shorestone Castle and declare
himself ruler of the fallen Kingdom of Argos. He was surprised to find
Stitch guarding the castle. He told Corath to leave, for he had given
Keela his solemn word that he would slay both Magnus and he in exchange
for acceptance into her kingdom as a citizen and hero... Corath laughed
and said his citizenship would be short lived...

Corath had laid waste to all that opposed him and to those he
considered threats to his ultimate wish to cast the Spell of Divinity...
He had not yet found all of the relics of song that would give him the
power of ascendancy... His time was running out, however, so he
teleported to the Lower Darklands where the Pillar of Corruption was to
appear finally... he began weaving his spells so that he would be ready
to tap into its power... He had not finished when a clap of thunder
echoed above and lava rose from the holes rose from the ground nearby...
Geysers of fire burst upward from the ground and blew as torches into
the sky some 30 feet... Rising from the ground were twisted forms of
Dagan, Keela, and Eyara... They had come to stop him from the
netherworld.
